Really large outdoor patio dining. Friendly staff reasonable prices for the food and beverages.

The food is awesome. The service is also awesome. But then some elderly lady who must be the boss came by and started bossing the staff around and telling them to change the specials on the board that we just ordered to something else then they said we couldn't have the special we already ordered because it changed so we left.

Small town pub... like going over to a friend's place for a drink and some nibbles. Super friendly service, down to earth people, and wonderful food. (House made fries, amazing Caesar salad). When you can't be at home, it's nice to feel at home.

Ordered chinese food on phone then went to pick up. Sat and had beverage while waiting. (I arrived earlier than the quoted pickup time) super friendly staff, food was ready before they quoted and was super amazing! Maybe the best chinese food I’ve had in many years!

Very nice upgrade amazing prices and portions. Gravy was very flour like. Steak was cooked the way I asked. Crap was fake.

Great food as always. The remodel on the restaurant is gorgeous! They kept the central circle counter shape but rebuilt and redecorated everything to match the previously redone lobby. Everything has clean and elegant lines.

The center is very clean, spacious and really good space to host an event. There rent is pretty affordable.

We enjoyed Sundre's history, very quiet town. The very nice gentleman from the museum is awesome and accomodating, made us feel at home …

I got in from a long day of travel and was very hungry. I went here for a late lunch or early dinner. The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. The staff very helpful.

Stopped in to satisfy a pizza craving I'd been having. I truly believe the Piro's special that I got was THE BEST pizza I've ever tried. Toppings were fresh and crust was delicious. My only issue was that I didn't get a larger size, I ate it before I even got back to my campsite.

Over all a very nice one experience. Looks like it is run by an older couple. But she was the only one doing cash, bussing tables, taking orders, and running the orders. The food was pretty good. Chicken was a little dry but really nice flavour. The side Cesar is amazing. I would go back just for this. But I would not go back if I was in a hurry. Dinner for the 3 of us took 2 hours. The place looks nice on the inside. And luckily we are on holidays so we were not in a hurry, but with only 1 person manning the whole front we had to wait for everything.

Was a very nice experience. Food is above average for Sundre restaurants. Service was very friendly. We sat on the patio it seemed to be newly renovated and was very inviting and an enjoyable place to have dinner.

The food was good. The service was not great (we were a larger group of 10, not sure how many staff were working). Didn't seem overly busy, but took forever to even get any water to our table. After ordering the food came out about the amount of time you would expect. Most of the guys got the original burger. I ordered the smoke chicken wrap. Every one seemed happy with their food. Prices were reasonable.

A pleasant surprise hidden in Sundre. The menu offers a wide variety of tasty options . The food has that distinctive homemade flavor and the Pizza and wings may possible be the best in Alberta. Highly recommend trying the meat lover. It has great quality ingredients and the crust is the perfect combination of crispy yet soft

Been here twice in the past couple weeks for breakfast. First of all both times I ordered a xl double double there was no sugar either time. But the real complaint goes to the breakfast bagel. First time I went, bagel was burnt, and when I say burnt it was charred black. This morning decided to give another try and not only no sugar in the coffee, it looks like whoever wrapped it decided to squish it into a ball. If I can figure out how to upload a picture to this review, it will be included. Before I saw the 2.3 rating I was going to write, "Do standards even exist here?" But obviously not. Absolutely sad and pathetic!!

Following the long weekend, I understand there is an immense crowd of campers who come out of the bush. I get that you were busy, however, you showed immense preference and dedication to the drive-thru window while more than 30 people waited anywhere from 30-50 mins in the dining room. Then when someone might ask for an update on the dining room progress, we were snapped at and treated rudely for interrupting drive-thru service. Not okay corporate, not okay. Your expectations forced your employees to upset many, many people. Similarly because they felt overwhelmed by numbers and need to cater to the to drive-thru speed of delivery, dining room food was put together rushed and hastily and items missing.

Extremely unorganized, and very slow. Considering it’s was maybe steady but not busy. Receipts were not being printed so no one knew what number they were. Selling meals they didn’t have ingredients to make. I know you don’t expect 5 star at McDonalds but there are much better options for fast food almost anywhere you go

A truly wonderful place to come for breakfast. Homemade ingredients friendly service. Add well-stocked deli, definitely a worthy stop went on a road trip. The eggs Benedict was incredible. Nice thick slice of real ham was definitely a delicious treat. The ranchers omelet was also phenomenal, chock full of meat.

Homemade hollandaise, need I say anything else! Took sandwiches to go for our trip home to Regina. Atmosphere was rustic and I want their chairs. Big, solid comfortable. My son satvBd colored with me on the same chair.

Come to Kodiak and the choice will be made for you cause the grilll won't be on and they won't be open! Feeling like a great breakfast but not too sure if you want to spend your last remaining money until next payday? Come to Kodiak and the choice will be made for you because the grill won't be on and they won't be open! (Who knew saving money would be so easy?) Want the best bacon you can get in Sundre way before closing time? Come to Kodiak and you can salvate at the window as the grill...won't be on and you won't get any! Want to lose weight by not eating amazing sausages and bacon and all of the juicy amazing food available to you? Come to Kodiak (Weight Loss programs vary from time to time and no subscription required). The prioritization of catering over simply notifying on social media or updating opening hours online so people don't come to the store is quite a feat to achieve in the realm of lackadaisical champions. Especially if you are sitting less than two metres from the front door and illumated opening hours sign. The food is amazing, there is no doubt, when and if you can actually get it after making the effort to go.

Had a craving for Chinese food while we were camping, so we decided to check out Harvest Heights Restaurant. We were seated and brought water right away. We ordered the dinner for 2 with an order of pork dumplings. The ladies serving here were great! They were always smiling. If we hadn't previously had really good Chinese food before our visit, we probably would have rated it higher.

Food was decent but they seemed off that we ordered chicken strips and fries as well even though they are on the menu. Then didn’t cook or deliver them even after double check of order. Just a little frustrating but what was delivered was good. Just need to work on their service….

Food taste is really good.Price is really good as well. Ready in 10 minutes. Our pickup order was hot and fellow even gave us 2 cans of our choice of Pop for free! Will certainly be back and tell our family and friends!!! Thanks

Staff is rude and uninviting we stood there for 10 min before someone greeted us. They just stood in the back and looked at us and never said a word. Then lady takes the order it was a big order 6 people but we were clear and made sure on the screen it was right. Get the order after waiting for what seemed to be an eternity. While the staff looked like they weren’t doing much of anything in the back. One item was wrong so I asked her nicely to remake what I ordered she does this and brings me cold food this time. So I ask her again please remake. Maybe I wasn’t as nice the second time but frustration is setting in. She brings me back the same cold chicken warmed up in the microwave and drenched in sauce so I couldn’t tell. I did notice but at this point I was not hungry anymore and everyone else was done eating so I just left. I travel through Sundre on a regular basis and this was a horrible experience. Second time at this Dairy Queen and the first wasn’t great either.

Stopped on my way home from a 16 hr day around 955 pm unaware closing was at ten or that it was even that late. Instead of the order taker politely informing me they’re closing in five minutes and she didn’t want to make anything she pretended not to hear what I was ordering forcing me to repeat myself over and over and over l. told me they were out of this couldn’t make that, then I finally caught on when I heard the group inside laughing. Great start for a new store in a small town. Best of luck.

Best Dairy Queen. Staff super polite and quick. I've never had to wait more than 2 minutes in line and my blizzard always is made quickly even though I order custom blizzard. I am always out with my ice cream in 5min. Not like other DQs I've been to. OLDS IS ALSO GREAT!! Rocky Mtn House pull up your socks

All the five star reviews are 100% legit with this place. The wife was able to get an amazing salmon diner and I was able to get a pizza and my daughter got chicken strips, life does not get better than this. All the servers are amazing and the cooks know what they are doing. If you are in town and hungry, this is the only place you should go to. Highly recommend

Little family run restaurant that doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was amazing! We got take out pizza and wanted to support small business and we were not disappointed! Pepperoni, dill pickle and cheese pizza, It was amazing and we will be back.

The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably affordable. Our first server seemed inconvenienced by us when taking our drink order and didn't bring us the drinks as we'd ordered them. But the server who took our food order was much more genial. The food was slow to come out but really good! We would eat here again if we were not in a hurry.

Love this place. Glad we stumbled into it. Come early to get the Cinnamon buns they are amazing. We also had lunch and the meals both my wife and I got were amazing. We will be hitting this place every weekend we are back up camping. I also love the painting over the stairs as you exit. It may not be for everyone so I won't post it but it makes me smile every time I see it.

Great experience. The cinnamon buns were to die for. The atmosphere was quirky and interesting. The place was extremely comfortable.

It’s really cute inside. The lattes are great and they have oat milk. I like ordering breakfast here as I can make a vegan option for myself. You can order the wrap with veggies and add hash browns inside.
