Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Lethbridge – 2024

This is a hidden gem. It's such a great restaurant. They had 2 musicians playing wonderful music. The interior is top notch, high class, very elegant. Oh and the food, there are no words to describe the delicious plates. Just a fantastic experience all around. Highly recommend

I made a reservation from the website for formal dining, but when I got there was told they close an hour prior and we had to go to level one. Apparently this happens regularly to others. FIX YOUR WEBSITE RESERVATION FUNCTION! I had out of town guests and was pleased to take them to see the view, except, just kidding! Sticky toffee pudding was good, but it was supposed to be served warm and it was not! Bacon wrapped perogies were amazing!

Best meals we ever had. This was our second time at the restaurant and just keeps getting better. Even though the ac wasn't working properly the experience was great. Nice and welcoming staff and delicious food. We're going to keep coming back for sure.

The staff were wonderful and really kind. I like the quiet atmosphere during 11-12 time. It was really enjoyable. I loved the food too! The tuscan fries are delicious. It’s not too busy during the opening of the place it’s just peace and quiet. The vibe makes you calm down and at ease. The food came out fresh and hot.

Our daughter recommended this spot for us and it did not disappoint. Delicious food in a relaxed setting!

Food was pretty bland. Meh at best. I get it's street food and it's gotta appeal to a broader audience but I've had more flavorful Kraft Dinner. Nothing egregious, but definitely a let down given the price. EDIT: So, because we did a review, we got a free Gelato... And holy trucking ship balls. That flavour punched me in the face, and wouldn't let up. It's so sweet and peachy I thought maybe I bit into a southern woman's peach pie. I seriously expected to hear my grandma in the kitchen beating someone about the head with a rolling pin. "More peaches! More sugar! How dare you disappoint my Grandson!"

We had a great time tonight and the food was delicious! Leslie was awesome! He was quick and we appreciate him so much!

I'm not a huge fan of the keg but I have to admit we had a great time. The food tasted great and although it seemed expensive it was all very good quality. The service was out of this world. Our server was amazing and made the entire dinner so much better. She was kind, friendly and so patient. I had the sirloin Oscar which came out perfectly medium and tasted really good. I would have liked more asparagus but I really liked the scallops and hollandaise sauce. My hubby really liked the prime rib which he said had a nice beefy flavor. They made us a cocktail not on the menu and I liked the wine selection.

Was expecting to have a relaxing dinner at 6pm - unfortunately there were so many kids running around. Kids standing in the chairs and booths. One kid actually was smacking the hanging light above their table. Behind us were 2 babies consistently crying and a toddler doing laps. Felt like a McDonalds. Food is always great! The atmosphere of the keg has gone downhill. Very disappointing.

Quick stop on the way back to the US... Good pick, the service was awesome and the food was great and served quickly. Layla took good care if us and helped us choose because there's too many good items on the menu to pick. Beautiful aesthtic inside, many areas, nooks and bar area... looks fairly new, nice and clean. Nice large outside patio seating area, too.

The pasta was absolutely dream-like; simply seasoned but the chicken provided the flavour. However, the garlic bread was quite saturated with butter, which was fine for me but might not be for others. The steak was a medium well, and it was cooked a bit less than we usually like. We have not tried the well done so we will have to try that next time. It was noticeably red and white close to the centre, and the piece was decently thick. The gravy and potatoes were both spectacular. The veggies were just there. The service was without problems and the restaurant was clean and elegant. It had good atmosphere. We would recommend going here.

Simple easy within the price to quality ratio. If you don't want to wait for a table, then it can be possible to eat at the bar, so that is a bonus. No fail, it is worth visiting often when you want simple decent food.

Friendly, excellent customer service from Michelle on a very busy night. There were only two servers and a bartender on a Saturday night, and the place was packed. The Duke burger and "dusted fries" were delicious. I liked the crispy onions. The hot pot was excellent. The beef dip was tasty, too, but I won't recommend the fish taco wrap. It was lacking flavour and the side of bacon and potato soup was cold. There are lots of other menu choices to make. We will be back. The atmosphere of the ale house is excellent.

We went here for supper based on other online reviews and we were not disappointed! The service, food, and atmosphere were terrific.

I've eaten here a few times in the last 2/3 months and it's always been really good. Their dusted chips are probably the best "french fries" I've ever had. They're crispy and have Parmesan and pepper on them. So good! I got the toad in a hole the last time I was there and although I was not a fan of the texture the taste was amazing. It's definitely becoming a regular place for me to go get a bite to eat.

You have friendly, attentive service from the staff made the evening even more enjoyable. My friend quietly whispered that she would just have it all to herself for the evening. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!

The food in this place is absolutely incredible! I haven't tasted food this great in a long time. The dessert we had was surprisingly fantastic. I can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was a spongecake kind of thing with strawberries. Absolutely amazing. I would recommend people to go out of their way to eat here. Prices are exceptionally reasonable as well

Stopped by Italian Table after visiting the beautiful Writing-On-Stone UNESCO site, and I wasn’t disappointed! The cozy setup, friendly staff, and delicious food made for a great experience. Understanding the menu was a bit challenging, but we asked for help and sorted it out. The portion sizes were just right—not too little, not too much. Since it’s technically part of the Sandman Hotel, you can use the hotel washrooms (just a one-minute walk away). Parking might be tricky due to hotel guests, but there are stalls tagged for the restaurant.

Hudson's came through again! We have hosted many family dinners here and have always been impressed. Fast and friendly service, yummy food, great vibes! I can't say enough great things about this place. Thank you Jesse for accommodating us last minute and thank you to the amazing wait staff and cooks. Our graduation celebration was capped off with a wonderful dinner here. Highly recommend!

Excellent service, food was brought out hot. Summer Fresh salad was all fresh with bacon and apples. Fries were great, steak sandwich cooked to med-rare perfection ..... however, just too much salt on the steak! This is the only reason for the "lower eval". But, definitely go again. Next time I will ask to not add additional salt to the "steak seasoning". Price of $10 - $20 is by both people in the party having water....and drinks would be additional.

The wings were perfect, fast service was great friendly the serving staff seemed to have good chemistry this ain't their first rodeo. The house beer was good. Was also there last night for a steak sandwich it was maybe a touch over on one side but the flavor was all there and I used a butter knife to cut it. Sat at the bar both bartenders were friendly. Highly recommend this establishment!!

Huge burger, with delicious crispy fries cooked just enough —not too light or dark. To die for gravy. We realized that two women can easily share one burger with fries, and will definitely be cal to try more items on the menu. Wing night for example….

Prices are very reasonable and the owner is very, very friendly. Don’t let the location fool you! We had the fish and chips, a poutine, clubhouse ciabatta, onion rings, bacon cheeseburger, and the honkers burger, and everything was delicious.

Not impressed with the service or the food. The owner is a liar. The staff charged us for food that we never got that we ordered to go at the end of our meals. The steak was rotten that we got and only one plate the noodles were eaten and the other plate was 95% full when we sent it back. The staff tried to tell us that they just got an order but for someone who has hunted my all life and quartered large animals I know when meat has gone bad. The waitress gave us 20% $4 off each plate. I'm not impressed. We were polite about the whole thing and just wanted to make the staff aware of what they were working with but to be criticized on this situation is absolutely uncalled for.

We stopped in here one evening during a road trip driving down from Calgary and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very casual, the drinks were awesome as well as the food. We were seated almost immediately and our waiter, Jake waited on us in a very short time. Overall I would have to say that the atmosphere service and food were all excellent.

I originally came to this restaurant because they serve Pelee Island wine. This restaurant is the reason I stay at the hotel. Love their menu, my steak was cooked perfectly, crispy mashed potatoes are a must try. Will try the lobster ravioli next time. Love the seasonal menu options and desserts. Service is great, it's nice that the manager helps the staff and takes time to check on the guests. Love the water feature and fire on the patio. Will be back.

we waited for so long for the food to be served. Took 45 minutes or so. I ordered the Hand-cut Ribeye and didn't like it. I ordered medium rare but they gave me well done, so they had to give me a new one. The Wild Mushroom Pork Tenderloin was so dry and tasted bland. The chicken marsala was just okay. The ambiance is great, the people and our server was very friendly. But I expected since it took them a while to serve the food and served me a well done steak that they should've even offered something small like a free gravy for the inconvenience and long wait. Honestly, I would just skip this place and try something else.

I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised! The food was the best food I've had at a "higher end" restaurant in years. Prices were reasonable for what we got. The waitress we had seemed a bit newer, she wasn't super confident with the larger group we had, but she did fine. Will definitely be back!

This place was great! Looks quite run down on the outside but don't let it fool you - quite fancy inside! Superb service, especially for our group of 30. Food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend.

I went here yesterday morning with a couple of my girlfriends for the Pride Parade Breakfast ! The servers at the restaurant were engaging and attentive to everyone at my table, the atmosphere inside was so lovely, and the food…I was SO impressed about the fact that everything on my plate was made from scratch in such a short amount of time and so DELICIOUS ! you ALL are amazing. I ordered myself the Pizza Eggs Benedict without the Porchetta (I am vegetarian) and topped it off with Chef Stella’s Homemade Hot Sauce. SO YUMMY you definitely need to try it ! It was my first time at Chef Stella’s and I truly fell in love therefore it won’t be my last time, see you again.

Amazing, delicious home cooked food. Everything I’ve ever eaten from Chef Stellas has been delicious. We recently got lasagna for our family dinner & everyone raved how great it was. It’s truly like you’ve made it yourself. The love that goes into everything is evident in the taste. Go here to eat!! it’s as delicious as homemade & you don’t have to worry about the dishes.

I always look forward to coming here when I’m in Lethbridge. Tried a lot of the menu. Never had a meal that wasn’t delicious. The FCCB and Godfather are recent highlights.

The menu offers a wide selection with something for everyone. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, with portions so large that all of us needed take out containers. The atmosphere is perfect, not too loud or closed in. I will definitely return and bring more friends

Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. The food was good, but nothing over the top. We had the prime rib dip sandwich, the steak oscar, and finished with the carrot cake.

I'm always happy to try a new restaurant and from the outside this place looks great. Walking in we saw the aged meats which I guess is neat but not my thing. We waited over 5 minutes at the front waiting to be seated which was odd because the restaurant was not busy and it seemed like some staff was just standing at the bar. We were told the only table we could have was a tall table and I really dislike tall tables. There are some interesting things on the menu and if we'd had more time and I didn't have to drive I would try some cocktails. I had the prime rib sandwich with fries and I have to say I was disappointed. The flavor was bland and overly creamy because of the horseradish sauce and the au ju didn't really have a "beefy" flavor. I liked the bread but the French fries were all small and more like fry crumbs. My hubby had the fish and chips and he liked it but said it wasn't anything spectacular. They don't have a kids menu but rather small plates options. I strongly dislike when restaurants don't have a kids menu. Overall I was not impressed with this place and there isn't much to make me want to come back. I would also like to point out that the small plate chicken strips is pretty much the same size as the fish and chips portion and the price difference was a lot.

This phenomenal restaurant (understatement) takes quality and excellence to the next level; from mouthwatering l’entrèe to plat principal, dessert and tailor cocktails. The restaurant itself is cozy and stylish, and high end with its unobtrusive service and great selection of drinks and food. The bone marrow, caramelized brûlée and served with a sweet garlic aioli is top, as is the fettuccini and the other plates ordered. The cocktails were strong and the food unbelievable. It’s worth going in a group or solo- Do book in advance on weekends as they may fill up quite quickly. The chef cake out to speak with my friend; and he is a master chef, in my opinion. Definitely an incredible jewel. I’m looking forward to going again.

What a gem. The food was excellent. The service was attentive and outstanding. Not only am I a food snob, I am celiac and need careful food prep. I have other sensitivities as well. The chef adjusted my meal and whereas I often still feel affected by eating out, I absolutely feel great. This is THE fine dining spot to try when in Lethbridge. AND… they have a gluten and dairy free dessert… this means I have to come back. No more sorbet or fruit cup for me

Really appreciate the Chef coming down on table and helping us fix the steak well done properly for us. Loved the feature soup & Pasta. Also they gave a dessert on house for a good hospitality.

The patio is nice and big. People say that McDonald’s fries are the best, no. This place makes better fries the same amount of salt, but thicker fries. Take that McDonald’s lol. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was extremely flavourful. The sauce for the fries and fish was super flavourful and a little bit salty. I ordered some donuts off of the kids menu and they were super sugary. They also had sauce on them. The sauce was sugary and the blueberries with the donuts made it taste super good and the bread inside super fluffy amazing. I wish I could give this place six stars oh well. First time here. Ordered the 2 piece haddock and chips. With extra piece. We shared the plate. Very tasty. The batter was just right. Everything came out hot. Jess mentioned that the seafood chowder was very popular. This was one of the best chowders I have had. Lots of seafood and thick . Taste was very good. Will be ordering the chowder again but bigger bowl. ! Jess was at our table right away to take our order. Food came out fast and nice size of fish. Really liked the homemade tartar sauce. Restaurant was very clean, lots of room. Staff were friendly and happy. Outside patio that would be nice to hang out in the heat. Washroom was very clean and nice decor. Thanks Jess u got me hooked on the seafood chowder. We will be back! There Mother’s Day special looks really good.

The food was fine, but I found the fries were a bit too salty, and I didn't love how they crafted the Po'boy (what I had). I was expecting smaller shrimp so it would be easier to eat in an actual sandwich, not large shrimp that just fell out of the sandwich.

Went for a girls lunch and the service was fabulous. I believe our server’s name was Ashley? And she was fabulous! Very attentive but also not the kind that stopped by every 2 mins, you know? She always kept an eye out on our drinks and made sure everything was good. Ordered the dragon bowl and she made substitutions as requested. One thing I would say is the portion was a little small for a dish that was $24. Also to note: when you ask for spicy level - please don’t just dump red chili’s but actually make the sauce and noodles coated in spice. Would have liked more noodles! We ordered the brownie for dessert and it was delicious! Loved the walnuts with the chocolate shavings. Overall, it was great!

I have had several great experiences here but today I had some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. I love the blackened chicken cowboy salad and ordered one for take out for dinner, well I got it and it was missing most toppings (oops accidents happen I completely understand, especially working in restaurants myself), so I called the location mostly just to let them know because I figured it was an oversight or someone training or something of that sort and Dave offered to deliver me a fresh salad with all the toppings! I took him up on the offer and from the time I called about it to the time it got to my front door was less than 15 minutes. I am so impressed with this service and of course the food as always! Thanks so much, you guys are the best.

Saturday night took our daughter out for dinner on her birthday. Started off good was seated right away and given menus. We were brought water and then waited 10-20minutes before anyone came back. Even joked server went on a break. Finally ordered food and let server know about the birthday and was told she would get a dessert. Orded Nachos which did not come to the main meal was delivered but tasted and looked like it been cooking for a long time. More toppings then chips, and it was so over done the paper pulled off with the chips. I ordered the SouthWest Rice Bowel. When it arrived the food runner said there was a problem but they fixed it... ???? Obviously they did not. The dish did not have the feta it had written on the menu and in the picture. The rice was like mush over-cooked, there was lettuce in the dish which was not suppose to be there. The dish was luke-warm to cold and was last dish brought out. I did not complain as it is my daughters birthday and wanted her to have a good time. The wife ordered the SmokeHouse Burger with fries. The meat tasted funny and was not finished. And then to top it all off the server did not bring a dessert or even offer desserts. That was one of the worse restaurant experiences I have ever had.
