Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Grande Cache – 2024

It was Father's Day so I treated myself to Vegas' famous Baby Back Ribbs! It was Awesome - huge Ceaser Salad, delicious spaghetti with meat sauce & two, great tasting pork rib racks. Sweet Deal!

I stopped in on my way up to Alaska on my motorcycle. From the second I walked in I felt like a local. Bob came over and started talking to me about motorcycles, stuff to do in the area. Turns out we had mutual friends in the Victory world and both had work done on our motorcycle's from the same guy. Bob even gave me his business card and cell phone number incase I ran into trouble on the way up, he said I could call and he could reach out to friends along the route that might be able to help! My waitress was incredible, I went with her recommendation for food, some type of greek chicken dish I had never heard of with tender juicy chicken kabobs, rice, delicious salad, amazing garlic bread, and what I believe was a taziki sauce but better tasting than I'm used to. It was amazing and huge portions. She was incredible and was refilling my water that I was guzzling down before I even knew I needed more water. I'm horrible with names so someone please help me out with her name she was great! From what I remember Bob telling me it's family business that they all run together... Fast forward 16 days I'm coming back through Grand Cache on the way home, I have a rule that I can't eat at the same place twice on trips because I want to try different restaurants. As much as I didn't want to break my rule I knew I wasn't going to find a more friendly place or better food. I pull into the parking lot, bike is still running and Bob is already outside saying no way man! You already made it there and back?! We talked for a bit like old friends then he ran next door to take care of the liquor store he also runs. I walk inside and my awesome waitress (so sorry I can't remember your name, I'd forget my own name if it wasn't on my license) welcomed me back! She somehow remembered me, not only that, she remembered what I ordered when I came through 16 days earlier! I wish I had her memory. She gave me a different recommendation I believe it was called a donair? I had never heard of a donair(I'm American) but it looked similar to a gyro. My goodness was it delicious with incredible onion rings for my side! I wish I didn't live 3,600km from this place, I would be there every day. I wish I could try everything on their menu! Truly great people I'd love to spend more time with and the best food I had on my entire month+ trip. Thanks again guys, keep up the great work! You don't meet people like the family that runs this place often. I'm glad I found this gem! People, food, atmosphere 10/10 across the board

Always great service and food is amazing! The chicken parmesan was so tasty Pizza was super delicious as well. We will stop by again next time

Place was a nice little spot, good ambiance but serving sizes were not great for the price of items, also received a different burger to what was ordered. Mixed drinks were pretty tasty though. Next time I'm in town I'll probably not be stopping in though.

There were only 4 other people in the restaurant at the time that my husband and I entered the restaurant. The restaurant was extremely cold. I mentioned this to the waitress. She said she was aware that the room was extremely cold, but she did not know how to turn up the thermostat. I had to keep my coat on the whole time we were there. The service was extremely slow. From the time we ordered our food, to actually having our meals placed on the table took 45 minutes. Again, only 4 other people in the restaurant at the time.

Probably one of the best burgers of my life. The Ceasar was classic but fresh and quality ingredients and the beers were chilled to perfection

We had a last minute replanning of our Jasper wedding. The Inn and Suites delivered so well for our venue and assisting us with rooms for our guests. Even though they were amazing, nothing went above and beyond as Michael and his amazing team. They matched and exceeded the menu that we would have had in Jasper. The buffet spread was absolutely amazing! I don't think I have ever eaten a meal that was as delicious as this meal was. And all my guests agreed on this! On such short notice, they created an amazing dinner and were there serving throughout. I cannot thank you enough, from the bottom of my heart!

The food is great! I have had no complaints on any of the meals I have ordered. The service is great and friendly staff.

Do not waste your money on the pathetic nachos for $20. Wow not even enough for one person let alone sharing with anyone. Never be back.

We decided to check out this place after seeing you guys put up a post on the Death Race group on Facebook. We always like to support local establishments, and we were far from disappointed. I can't get over how amazing the food is here! The Caesar salad had real parmesan and bacon. The home cut fries were probably the best we've ever had. There is a HUGE piece of fish with the fish and chips. I'm not sure what they put in the coleslaw, but crack wouldn't be surprising. The service was spot on and super friendly. The only adjustment I'd make is to ask people to smoke farther away from the doors.

Came in on a Monday night and the place was quiet. Bartender was super nice, and the steak was excellent.

I needed to write a review because this place had awesome food. My first time eating in a restaurant in town. I am a big foodie and I love a good burger. Our waitress was friendly and didn't mind having a conversation with us.. We chose to sit outside on the patio in the shade. I had the very delicious bacon burger with homemade fries. The burger was very juicy with lots of taste.. I give a big thumbs up for this place

Centrally located diner attached to the Grande Cache hotel. The food was decent, but the serving sizes were small, considering the price. Most breakfast items were in the $18-20 range except for the basic plates, like breakfast sandwich and early riser special. Even looking at the other tables around, I noticed that it wasn't just us, but all the plates coming out of the kitchen were skimpy. I got the breakfast poutine. It wasn't bad but a bit too soggy and heavy with the hollandaise and melted cheese.

I was here recently with my family and even though we showed up late we had the best service ever! All of our food was cooked perfectly and was DELICIOUS!! And also, our server Ruby provided us with the best service we could have asked for! And not only did she show us some great spots in the establishment for pictures, she also took a few for us! Thank you for adding a wonderful experience to my family's mini vacation :) We will definitely be coming here again!

Order the steak! We stayed in the hotel connected to this restaurant and ordered the 24oz prime rib to share with my kids. The steak is one of the best. We tried also the fish and chips, pasta, chicken tenders and they are just the regular dish. Great service! Will try the other dish next time.

The staff were very nice and the food was awesome. I had the grilled haddock and my husband had the club for lunch. For dinner we both had the ribeye steak it was amazing.

Staff are very welcoming, always checked up on us, gave us refills, even made us sit by their big window by the outside fireplace and started a fire for us to watch while we ate, food is ok but the atmosphere and staff are worth the night out

Spent 28.50 for a large pizza. This is what I got. Unfortunately too spendy for me to ever order again. Pepsi can for size

Horrible picture because I smashed it down to try and fit it in my mouth. Even smashed down I couldn't, this was literally the BEST burger I've ate in a LONG time. I was the only one in there as it was late, but soooo coming back to town just to eat here again

Fond of this restaurant, hard to choose over its competitors in town but. I can't live without. Dragon palace or greenhouse. Been going here since i. Was a kid the food Is largely portioned and a bit pricy but you definitely get more than what u pay for

Delicious burger and chicken. The fries were a delight! I finally got to test the famous upside down ice cream. We enjoyed our meal but unfortunately I seem to have lost my grandmothers ring while using the restroom. But obviously that’s not their fault!

Wonderful customer service! Quick and efficient. We are happy to have a DQ here in town. And our puppy loves her pup cups that are graciously offered to us by the staff. I see some one star reviews from the past, but these are from before the current staff took over. We go there once a week for our treats and it's always a great experience ☺️!

Ordered, poutine in the drive thru and they gave us fries only. Went back to get fixed and there where unwilling to correct their mistake.

My beef dip was literally a hoggie bun with a slab of dry roast beef on it. Nothing else. Server didn’t ask if I had a concern, the people I ate with I had just met so I didn’t want to say anything. I will never return here again. Servers stand around with their hands in their pockets as well. And I’m not an overly picky person but this was shocking.

Great friendly staff, good food, and Free pool table. I played myself for a game, drinking beer while waiting for my food. I kicked my A$$! Mind you, I did set myself up pretty good a few times! And ever since, I’ve been the champ!

The atmosphere and cleanliness of the family dining area was impressive. Emmy greeted us and we chose a great table where my toddler could watch hockey and basketball on the big screen. There was the perfect high chair. Emmy, our server, brought out crayons and page to color right away, we had our drinks immediately and enjoyed the delicious Clam chowder while we waited for our food. The food was excellent, well portioned exactly what we wanted. The prices were very reasonable, Service was awesome from begginning to end. Thanks Emmy, Great Job! We are only visiting Grande Cache but will definitely be back next time we are in town. Yum

I can’t say I was expecting to find a Japanese restaurant in Grande Cache! And one that was very good as well! Met up with a friend here while we were both in town for work and it was fantastic! I’m actually not a seafood eater so I was hesitant because of the name, however, it’s definitely not just a sushi restaurant! I ended up getting chicken katsu which is one of my favourite Japanese dishes. This portion was enormous! It looked like just one chicken cutlet but it was actually TWO stacked on top of each other! I also got some vegetable tempura and a peach bubble tea. Everything was so good and the service was great. The lady brought over a space heater to make sure we were comfortable too which was so cute! Definitely check this place out if in town!

I was so pleasantly surprised. So many veg options. Fantastic presentation. Very friendly service. I'll come back anytime I'm in town.

We tried the long journey huge bowl of sushi, bento beef teriyaki tempura, seafood udon soup and banana deep fried ice cream. They are all great! This is not a fancy restaurant but food is delicious. We will be back!
