Great Filipino dishes served with love is what makes Wilmie's You great! Other items such as their sushi and wings with all their sauces made in house are perfect to enjoy during one of their many live shows. RECOMMENDED!

They have a small Filipino menu and it's worth a visit to try it. I hope they add more Filipino dishes in the future. We also had sweet and sour chicken and it was way better than any Chinese restaurant we've been to. Service is good, food came out quick. The atmosphere is the same as when it was the muster point. They also have nightly food specials. Wing night is Wednesday and Friday.

We have been here twice now and I highly recommend it! Food is always on point, staff are friendly and deserve a good tip! 10/10 would recommend for a date spot. My recommendation to the owners would be to add more tables… you’ll need them if you keep it up! ☀️

Top-Gun theme. Highly versatile atmosphere. You can be very comfortable here alone, with a date, with your Grandparents, with your drinkin buddies, girls night or with the family. The staff are fast, friendly and attentive. The owner runs a tight ship and is on the floor, personable and interactive. Everything is clean and freshly updated I'd say. The drink menu has all your favorites and prices like 20 years ago! Now, the food. I judge a place on 3 things: The main meat, Caesar salad and poutine. This place rivals Everything in every way Big, clean, tender rack of ribs with BBQ and honey garlic sauce on the side for however you want to dip or pour it. The way it should be IMO. The Caesar was perfect and in a bowl separated from the rest of the food. The poutine was made with perfectly cooked seasoned fries with good gravy and real curd cheese. At no extra charge it came with individual dishes of coleslaw and baked beans. The all black dishes and Cutlery were classy, and I loved that the sides and sauces came in ready to go containers that you can slap a lid on and bring with you if you don't eat it all. Be ready for that because the portions are generous. Most of the choices on the menu came with meat upgrade options so you can have it your way. There are massive big screen TVs throughout the dining area and Bar if you want to watch sports. The music was satellite streaming service that I'm sure they would adapt to your request. There is a separate but connected section of the building that I didn't go to but I noticed they have pool tables and I heard them talking about having a large area for private parties. I can't think of anything this place is lacking and there is nowhere else like it in the area. I went there late at night and they still had full kitchen available. This is where it's at in Cold Lake. The food prices are more than reasonable for the quality quantity and presentation. I got the Fanboy half rack of ribs with a Caesar salad and poutine upgrade and a drink for under 40 bucks. Unbeatable!!!

Server was nice. Food wasn’t great. We ordered a platter to share. Brisket was over done, mushy and not even room temperature . Almost tasted like a slow cooker roast ?? Except - not hot or even warm. Ribs had an odd taste and smell. They weren’t anywhere near “fresh” . The sausage was cold and seemed to have been reheated. Chicken was dry and luke warm. Coleslaw wasn’t good at all. Mash potatoes (supposed to come with potato salad) weren’t the best but not awful! Pulled pork wasn’t good either…. Fries - good. It came with cornbread but instead we received garlic bread? We had nachos as an app and they were decent! We will say the baked beans are good - servings are big. Overall we spent $100 for 2 of us on that and left disappointed with our meal. We read reviews prior to coming so held high expectations , unfortunately will not be returning. Maybe just not for us? Or maybe an off day?

It's a lovely dinner. The food tasted quite good and the decoration created great atmosphere. The steak was soft and well cooked. I highly recommend to try it. Customer service was very friendly and considerate. The restaurant has a nice lake view and there's plenty free parking. I visited and stayed in Cold Lake for five days and came here twice. This is a must-visit restaurant in the area.

I don’t often make reviews for a business unless they truly stand out and tonight was a stand out performance! My fiancé and I went to the The Casual Canoe Bourbon & Craft Kitchen in Cold Lake tonight to help them celebrate 1 year of being open for business and they did not disappoint. Even though I’m currently chugging down the sober train tracks…their selections of bourbons are absolutely stellar and thankfully their non-alcoholic options were just as good!! Totally recommend the non alcoholic LOGO Hazy IPA We started with the scallop appetizer, then our mains came out shortly after and we finished with a wonderful dessert. Because it was their anniversary we also got a gift for attending. This place deserves nothing but praise. We’ve been twice now and both times were so good they sit fondly in my memories. The service is perfection, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food is to die for. You can tell the pasta is homemade, the beef is so tender it falls apart, the dessert punch with flavour. Congratulations on one year in business and I hope you continue to serve the community for many more years to come!!

This is the absolute GEM of Cold Lake. We chose to eat here on our house hunting trip and as an early birthday celebration for my partner because of how highly it was rated, and we were absolutely thrilled to see that the Casual Canoe lives up to their reputation. We made a reservation, and I do recommend making one. When we arrived we were greeted by name and then we were promptly seated by one of the owners in a beautiful spot by the window. Right away you can see that they had lovely sweet smelling flowers on the tables, lit candles, and soft lighting to add to a romantic and soft atmosphere. I would consider this to be a classy place, although I don't get the vibe that anyone here would judge you either way if you chose to come in semi casual or even casual attire, as the day before when we peeked in there was a nice mix of all types of dress. Most importantly, as I'm sure you're wondering about food and service, they care about the quality of their food here, and the happiness and prompt service of their patrons. Janique was our waitress, and oh my goodness, she is so wonderful. She gave off such lovely vibes as a person. She was professional, but also not stuffy like at some fancier places, I'm sure you know the type. She was actually very kind, was able to answer all of our questions, and was down to earth enough for us to have a few laughs. She was also SO on top of filling my water glass, haha I was very impressed. We also had a quick chat while ordering with the man (I believe one of the owners?) tending the bar, who was also a lovely individual. All in all, a great waitress experience. Thank you Janique and to the owners! I also want to give a shout out to the chef, who we found out was named Reagan. The food was DIVINE. From start to finish everything we ate was more than just a meal, it was an experience. The plating was absolutely stunning (just look at the photos I posted, wow!) and the taste was just as wonderful as it looked. It's not often that a meal makes me want to stop and smell and appreciate it before eating it, but this was very much food that made me want to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak. Every bite took me somewhere relaxing and far away from my problems. It's hard to explain. Anyways, big shout-out to Reagan (hope I've spelled that right!) because she is a true ARTIST who knows what she is doing, and as long as she is cooking here, we will be coming back. My partner and I unanimously decided that this will now be our go to spot for any future special occasions in the city. Highly recommend giving this spot a visit. It won't disappoint you anywhere from start to finish.

Great place. Attached to the Lakeland Inn. And i like to shoot pool/ billiards. So after a day of fishing it was nice to just chill out in the same motel with Taps and pool tables and my awesome wife. Priceless

Came here on a road job, great place! The one bartender, Sam? Phenomenal service, really knows her drinks, never had to wait, just fantastic!

The staff where great! Food was good. On the quieter side which is amazing you can actually hear your friends. Music playing was enjoyable.

I recently ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and service. Ice took my order, and she was truly attentive and professional. The ginger beef I had was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was delightful. I look forward to ordering again soon!

Had dinner here during the weekend. Weekend pricing for the buffet is about 4 dollars more than during the weekdays, but food selection was not bad for the cost. It wasn't as busy, but we had to wait a bit for some dishes to be refilled. It was a good experience all in all.

This place was impressive! First the decor and layout of the place was beautiful and roomy. As soon as you walk in the stone and tile work show you pride of ownership. Service was excellent and the Sunday buffet was really good. I’m so happy I found this place, and it exceeded my expectations. You can also go to a movie then walk across the street for an awesome dinner after. 5 stars!

Exceptional service is what drives exceptional experiences. Pourhouse Bar and Grill offers a classic spin on what is means to be the neighborhood pub. This pub draws a authentic local crowd and is a genuine representation of the best that the beautiful town of Cold Lake has to offer. The staff is friendly, the food service is amazing, and there is no short of friendly engaging conversations.

Really good food! (Got the taco Tuesday deal, it was amazing). I asked for the tiki drink without fireball and 2 shots of Malibu, amazingly done! Would 100% recommend for a nice place to socialize. Amazing atmosphere

First night in Cold Lake we went here, atmosphere was good, food is good value, our server was friendly and prompt. However we were deeply disappointed the next evening when this other server couldn't wait to get us out of there. When trying to place our food order she literally started pulling the menu away from us. Then when I asked for a second drink after we were done our food, proceeded to say sure and I'll bring you your bill. Good food, but some of the staff should be reconsidered.

Had the Butter Chicken. Terrible! The Nan was burnt, chicken lacked any curry flavour and the rice was cold. My partner had the chicken club wrap and said it was okay. She said the Coleslaw was "different" as it tasted vinegry. To me it tasted like cabbage since there was hardly any dressing. The staff never came to refill our drinks nor asked how the meal was event though I left most of the Nan and rice behind. Did not tip, will not return.

Clean floors and tables ,inviting atmosphere, friendly accommodating staff. The gravy is extra salty but the fries are hand cut and very crispy. The burger patties are nothing special just like regular frozen patties. If you want great fries this place is good at that.

Very good food. Spicy really means spicy. My only complaint is that less than 2 sides isn't an option for online orders. First order was worth going back. Second order sucks. No garlic on the garlic toast, steak was over cooked and last I checked steak sandwich has bread.

While waiting for my order, I had the pleasure of meeting the restaurant’s manager. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure I felt attended to and comfortable. Not only did he greet me with a friendly smile, but he personally handed me my food, which was a nice touch of hospitality. As for the food itself, it exceeded my expectations. I opted for the pulled pork sandwich, and I must say, the portion was generous. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into the preparation. All in all, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I’m definitely looking forward to returning soon, both for the delicious food and the pleasant service.

Nothing to get excited about here. Beer selection was terrible for a place that calls itself a “tap house” (1 craft beer and not local or even from AB!). Server and bartender didn’t know anything about their beers and they were major brands! The steak sandwich had potential but I asked for med-rare and got med-well. It was also too small for the bread they served it on. Soup was nice (server didn’t even know what the soup of the day was. After she found out, she said it was mushroom but it turned out to be cream of broccoli.) Food quality was a 4/4.5. Everything else more like 3/3.5. Don’t go for the experience. Go because they have a meal you’re craving.

Fish tacos I had were amazing! My husband ordered the lasagna and was not as impressed. Hesaid the taste was okay, but it was very dry as if it had been previously frozen.

So yummyyyy, I bought some from the farmers market. Chicken curry and veg rice. With the veg samosas. 10/10 everything the spice was just right. The portions are great. I can really tell. Whomever made this put there heart into the food. It really shows in the aroma and taste. Will 100% be buying again.

The best, most authentic Indian Butter Chicken in the city! You can tell the food is made with passion. Good portions with prices on par with what I've paid at other establishments outside the Lakeland. The owners are very friendly, lovely people.

Great food, great vibes with some indian music! Must recommend for box lunch or dinner, authentic indian snack options. Must try is the aloo paratha and gulab jamun!

Always impressed with mamacita's! Me and the wife are lucky enough to live close.. we don't eat out often cause my wife is a wonderful cook but when we do it is often here because of the beautiful food.

First time there and was super impressed. A place that makes a ceviche the way it should. The cups, salsa, and guacamole were fantastic! The food and service were great. Loved that they had drinks that were authentic. Impressed for a place in Cold Lake as there seem to be more fast food joints than quality restaurants. Works definitely go back if we're in Cold Lake.

We stopped at the new book store and saw this place and thought we would try it out! And it was AMAZING! The food was excellent, and the staff were kind and quick! We walked in and were greeted right away seated and had waters on the table within minutes! Coffee was AMAZING. Most restaurants have okay coffee, but there's was awesome! The salsa is homemade, and to die for if I could have bought I tub of it, I would have. Both of our food was excellent, and it smelled so good. I didn't even think about taking a photo! We will absolutely be back!

Photos below are how we left our plates. This particular meal was not very appetizing and hurt my stomach. I asked for hollandaise sauce instead of cheese sauce and was served what is pictured below. It didn’t look or taste like hollandaise sauce. I think it might of just been the particular plate we ordered because everything else the people we came with got looked good, so I probably would have given the restaurant another try. We did ask to have one plate taken off, even though we both barely ate. They would only take 10% because “it was still food they made for us” and the hollandaise sauce “is not how it would normally come”. If you can’t make hollandaise sauce just say so. You got the extra $20 out of us today but lost a future customer. The waitress was very nice however. I would recommend putting ice in all the drinks you serve.

We were seated quickly, server was friendly and attentive. She gave us enough time to look through the menu and ensured we received our waters right away. Once we placed our order, our breakfast was served within 15 minutes of ordering.

Every meal here is a success, my family and I enjoy our visits. Always leave with a full stomach. I've had a organized breakfast with work in this establishment, the staff were always happy to serve us.

HOLY COW!! Never have I ever had a donair pizza in my whole entire life until today. Traveling from BC this isn't an option where I'm from and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I honestly almost cried when I took a bite. Their crust is amazing, all the ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the staff person on shift was super helpful and friendly and awesome. Thanks for making my trip to Cold Lake a little warmer.

Danny’s is the best around. Donairs, burgers, pizza…it doesn’t matter. Super consistent and amazing every time. Top recommendations: Donair pizza with double meat and garlic sauce Donair with garlic sauce, add black olives banana peppers and hot sauce Bacon mushroom Swiss burger Curly fries and gravy are top notch too. This family business does an excellent job every time!

The restaurant is one of those gems of Cold Lake. A classic feel to it. While we were there, there was some road construction that did make it so we couldn't park close to the restaurant. But a very short walk along the marina got us there just fine. The food was pretty good for a diner style experience. I was served a bacon cheese burger with BBQ sauce. The patty tasted like it was homemade and fresh. The bacon was perfect. Still quite thick but with the right amount of crisp to it. My wife and I got our meals withing 15 minutes of us ordering. A great response time for this kind of dinning experience. The only downside was that the burger was not what I ordered. Not even close. I ordered a hot dog

Nothing really can be said that is bad at Clarks! Food is always good as expected with reasonable prices and amazing portions.. Never had to really ask for anything as service was always on top of things...The 3 piece fish and chips is a more than enough size even for the hungriest. ! Very short wait but also wasnt super busy but was still prompt. And meal was just on time following our appetizers. The soups are a must try.. Always a great meal at Clarks!.

I used to like going here especially for the fish and chips but since the change over the food portions aren't the greatest and the quality seems to have gone down. We had company from out of town and orderd 4 two pcs fish and chips. Not even an handful of fries for the amount of fish and it was mainly all batter and soggy. It's to bad because Clark's is a Cold Lake Gem our relatives from out east heard about it and we're looking forward to eating there, but we're terribly disappointed in the food not at all what they were told it would be from us and others.

So have been there a few times. The service has been great!!! The food is really good. Have had breakfast and supper there. The burgers are preformed but still tasty. Think frozen Keg burger type. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was the portion of take out fries I got. For $8.35 I was disappointed. They where good though.

First and foremost, the waitress, Jade, was absolutely amazing and stayed that way until after we walked out the door. She was so accommodating and genuinely nice! Food checks were spot on, and our drinks were always full. Jade made recommendations that were so good and worked to make things even better and more comfortable for us. The food was so flavorful, and the selection of food was great. I have a family of picky eaters, and everyone was satisfied. Everything was clean right down to the bathrooms. I was unsure when entering because it is on the first floor of a hotel and not clearly marked until you are close. Once I entered the restaurant, though, my doubts were swept away. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be going back again next time I am in Cold Lake. To Jade, Thank you for making dinner with my family so memorable.
