Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Fort Myers – 2024

Found this gem on google this afternoon after touring the Edison / Ford museum and boy did it not disappoint! Tucked away in downtown ft Myers! I’m huge on google reviews and the locals seem to love it so we gave it a shot! We walked in a little after 11 am when they opened and were greeted by very enthusiastic friendly staff members. They had asked if we had ever been and proceeded to explain the menu as well as the craft beer / cocktail list. We both got a cocktail & the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese which was outstanding! The food being great is always worth a trip back but the service was also phenomenal and for that I’ll certainly be back & recommend 10 Twenty Five to anyone I network with in the area! Because it’s downtown parking is tricky but it’s such a beautiful area we didn’t mind walking a few blocks to the restaurant!

If you visit Fort Myers, you have got to put this on your list of restaurants to visit! When I say it is phenomenal, I am not exaggerating at all! Def fun gastro pub vibe, dogs are allowed on the patio, great cocktails, and amazing food

TBH I was a little thrown off by the menu however, it was fantastic!! Eggrolls were amazing! Must try to beer cheese it was so good on the eggrolls that our waitress recommended trying. Wonderful food!!

What a cool place. Great atmosphere, although the music wasn't what I expected. I kind of thought maybe something classy & Italian, but instead, I got to hear Justin Bieber. Our server, Arielle, was absolutely the sweetest. Attentive but not overly so. The hostess in the pink sequin dress was a bit rude - never saw her smile even once, and when another couple asked to change tables, she wasn't very helpful and rolled her eyes at them. The food was fantastic. Really pleased that they have gluten free options and were knowledgeable about cross contamination, since being gluten free is a necessity for me, not a preference. Definitely would visit again.

Drove by this restaurant on my way to another establishment, and it looked so authentic and inviting that I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for satisfying a craving for some pizza with an authentic New York style gangster theme lunch. I immediately noticed the very cool Machine guns used as doorhandles at the entrance, and upon entering experienced the very ought vibe and feel of a home style Italian restaurant from back in the day. I was immediately seated and after going to the restroom and getting a kick out of the memorabilia on the walls and caretaking in providing another experience of mob style bathrooms from the Al Capone era, I told my Server that I was in a bit of a rush and ordered it quick 9 inch margarita pizza with the Capone special cocktail. They were quick to bring out what I asked for, which I believe was more because of my mention of being in a rush (much appreciated), and less to do with the place trying to rush you out quickly normally. There was additional pictures and memorabilia on the walls which added to the experience, and the pizza and cocktail were very delicious and enjoyable. Service was friendly prompt and Pleasant. I would definitely recommend and visit again!

We’ve been patronizing Capone’s for several years, but no more. They were out of iced tea and diet soda, so water was the choice for sugar free drinks. We ordered a salad, but the tomatoes tasted very strange and were waterlogged. In addition, the lettuce was rusty. We also ordered a large Margherita pizza. It was by far the blandest pizza we’ve ever eaten. The cheese was unevenly spread, and again, the tomatoes tasted odd. The crust wasn’t good this time either. The manager came over and said, “That’s just how we do things here.” He did offer to make another small pizza, but it was so tasteless, we didn’t want another one. Now, the server, Angel, was very nice. We weren’t asking to have our meal reduced in price, only bringing the quality of the food to their attention. Nothing was comped or reduced, which we never asked for, just acknowledgement of the issue. Now I know why it’s not as busy as it was at one time. We won’t go back.

My wife and I recently dined at The Melting Pot to celebrate her birthday, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Thanks to our server Bri, the service was impeccable. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. Food was delicious and presented very well. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a special night out.

It’s an experience if you have never been. This was my first time and most likely my last time. It’s fun and it’s expensive. The cheese fondue was good. The dessert fondue was the best thing about it! The food was just okay. Maybe we didn’t have the right broth, maybe it was just too much to have to cook like that but I wouldn’t spend the money for it again. Our server Kenna was great! She was knowledgeable, friendly and funny! If you haven’t been it’s worth the try.

Keith was our server and did an absolutely amazing job. Since this was our first visit, he took the time to educate us on how everything worked and answered any questions we had. He also helped us get a couple amazing photos. We will definitely return! And we will definitely ask for Keith. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

I attended Copper's Hawk for an early brunch. It was a delightful experience. Brooklyn was our server and she was extremely knowledgeable about the food, wine, and dessert menus. She was able to recommend items and I was there for the first time. Beautiful decor and music. I am learning wines and Brooklyn recommended some great items and paired the wine with various meals. I even purchased a couple of bottles of wine as well. I am looking for to celebrating my birthday there. Be sure to book a reservation.

What an incredible upscale place to have our anniversary Dinner. Great wine, great food and excellent service. Mercede was an outstanding server and enjoyment enthusiast who made sure we had fun and had stellar service. Better give her a raise and keep her around. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. This afternoon, we finally decided to try Cooper’s Hawk in Fort Myers, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance resembled a beautiful local winery, with a tasting room filled with an impressive array of red, white, and sparkling wines. Our server, Ellie, warmly greeted us and guided us through the extensive menu, highlighting chef specialties, wine recommendations, and must-try dishes. We began with the chef’s special lobster-deviled egg toast, which was absolutely scrumptious. We also tried the classic tomato bruschetta and chicken potstickers. The bruschetta burst with fresh ingredients, creamy mozzarella, and a delicious balsamic reduction, while the potstickers were an explosion of flavor—some of the best we’ve had in Southwest Florida. To complement these appetizers, we ordered two wine flights: a red and a white. The white wines included Lux Sparkling, Lux Chardonnay, Moscato, and Sauvignon Blanc, while the reds featured Tuscano, Shiraz, Cooper’s Blend, and Camille. Each wine paired perfectly with the food, and our favorites were Lux Sparkling, Camille, Sauvignon Blanc, and Tuscano. For the main course, we chose the gnocchi carbonara and the famous Leonard burger with fries and wasabi mashed potatoes. We paired these dishes with the almond sparkling wine and Vin Veloute, recommended by our hostess. The burger was like a gourmet version of a Big Mac—absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. To end our meal on a sweet note, we had the Reese’s ice cream cookie and Cooper’s Hawk truffle trio, paired with Lux ice wine and Nightjar. Every bite was amazing, and we left feeling thrilled about our experience. We loved the Vin Veloute so much that we even bought a couple of bottles to take home. Cooper’s Hawk is a must-try for all wine lovers, and we can't wait to return!

I can’t believe this my first time here. It definitely won’t be my last. I grew up eating homemade authentic Italian food. Bruno’s is by far the next best thing. Everything was delicious and the portions were HUGE!!

Outstanding service from everyone we encountered. We sat at the bar and watched chef Bruno and his crew make fresh made to order Italian pasta like it was art. The food was the best I’ve ever had. Meatballs were incredible. Be sure to try their calamari. We had never tried escargot before- it was delicious- will order that again. I found this restaurant as I was coming out of jury duty and thought the restaurant looked intriguing. I was right, it reminded us of the times that we had been in New York City. If you're looking for great Italian dishes you are at the right place. Wonderful staff and amazing food. Big portions so you won't leave hungry! The veal cutlet parmesan was amazing and the escargot was unlike anything I've had in the past..... So good! Looking forward to coming back the next time I'm in town!

Nestled in the heart of Fort Myers, Cristof’s on McGregor is truly a hidden gem. Our dining experience began with the baked bruschetta, which was scrumptious, and the veggie pesto rigatoni was bursting with fresh pesto and veggie flavors. At the same time, the sides of potato salad and fries were outstanding, balancing textures and tastes wonderfully. For dessert, we tried the homemade key lime pie and tiramisu. The key lime pie, in particular, was out of this world—a perfect blend of tangy and sweet that left a lasting impression—the tone for the rest of the meal. Next, we indulged in their famous chicken salad, paired perfectly with a glass of refreshing prosecco—it was fresh, delicious, and lived up to its reputation. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. We cannot wait to go back and explore more of what Cristof’s has to offer. It is a must-visit for anyone in the area!

My friend and I found this game by accident in North Ft Myers, Fl. Definitely has some hiring beautiful places, my friend had the Catch of the Day sandwich and was huge and I had the scallops salad, was delicious. The Staff was professional. Service was outstanding. They have indoor seating which is today, was beautiful weather to eat lunch outside and also they have indoor seating Prices were reasonable. Breakfast or lunch. Stopped here for dinner on our drive home. Nice restaurant with courteous staff. They have a small vegetarian section on the menu and a few appetizers and salads. The sourdough they bring to the table is delicious. We ordered the Bruschetta but never got it. The eggplant Parmigiana is not traditional. It's grilled eggplant rolled into a dish, covered in marinara and cheese and baked. It was good but difficult for my daughter to eat. My other daughter got the Caesar salad which was good. I ordered the pasta primavera and it was lackluster at best. I couldn't taste any garlic, it didn't taste like there was any seasoning (I actually added salt and pepper which I never do and it didn't help), and it was sitting in what looked like water. It was an extremely disappointing dish. Hopefully it was just an off day. Might give it a second try sometime because we did have a nice experience otherwise.

The service was exceptional! We were served by a blonde girl with two braids—I'm not entirely sure of her name, but I think it might have been Megan. Regardless, she did a fantastic job. We had a large group as my family was coming into town, and we decided to have dinner there. We enjoyed some delicious mangrove snapper, which was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing. Whenever we needed another drink, our server, who was also bartending, was quick to assist us and did a fantastic job. The restaurant seated us in a lovely area with a beautiful view. It wasn't too loud, which made for a very enjoyable experience. We truly appreciated the space and the excellent service. We will definitely be coming back!

Joy Brings True Joy to Pinchers! Joy is simply the best bartender and server at Pinchers! Her name couldn't be more fitting, as she brings an infectious joy and positive energy every time we visit. Our girls' night out group has actually changed our spot to Pinchers specifically because of Joy. We look forward to her bright smile and warm welcome whenever she's working. Joy makes the whole experience that much more fun and enjoyable. Not only is her service top-notch, but Joy is an incredibly talented bartender. Her strawberry margaritas are out-of-this-world delicious - the perfect balance of sweet and tart. We always look forward to her special cocktail creations. The food at Pinchers is also consistently tasty, but it's Joy's caring personality and commitment to excellent service that really makes it a standout place. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel special. Whether you're a regular or first-timer, I guarantee Joy will have you grinning from ear-to-ear by the end of your visit. Pinchers has several locations, and I believe this one is the pinnacle. Well-situated on the river with ample room inside and out. The service is very professional, and the seafood is fresh and delicious. Worth a visit!

Been awhile Since we have been Here.Update is Beautiful.Our Server Ruth Ann was excellent, extremely attentive and responded to all our needs. Rioja Wine was excellent, Crab cake was Flavorful. Roasted Cauliflower was yummy. Veal chop with Homemade Gnocchi in a blue Cheese sauce of was to Die for. The Pistachio Flan was the Finishing Touch. Harold the owner and Chef came over to our Table, that was Very sweet. Great way to spend a Anniversary Dinner. Thanks for making it so Special.

Always a great experience. I ordered a sea bass the other night that I have had several times since then. I can only explain it as a magical experience throughout my plate. When I realized I was eating the sea bass with a beautiful parsnip puree I suddenly experience the other side of the plate which was a completely different sauce. This sauce was a different flavor and different component which made the experience completely out of this world. After eating 50% of the sea bass and some of the beautifully created potato chips on top, I realized I had been missing out some of the most beautiful purple sauteed potatoes nestled behind the sea bass. I could probably write a novel on this plate. But I am not a writer. However you should definitely take my advice, I am an artist and food connoisseur soon just stop bye and experience what I had felt!

One of a kind type of place. Angie, Scott, the food and the regulars are all the reasons I can’t wait to come back. Best Foie Gras I’ve ever had and best Venison I’ve ever had. Everything was amazing. I was in town for work, trying a new place just for fun, ate at the bar solo and had the best food and the best time. Thanks again, Angie and Scott! I will be back!

First time, I think Connor’s might be heaven! Fun menu-Vodoo Shrimp, Crab Cakes and the steaks looked amazing! Fun place with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went here for dinner to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We made reservations ahead since we were going around 6pm. We arrived to the restaurant about 30 min before our reservation. We went in to let them know that we were early and see if they would be able to go ahead and seat us, but if not it was perfectly fine. There were 3 young hostesses working the front and all greeted is politely and told us that it would more than likely be closer to the 6 o'clock time before we could be seated, but if we wanted we could head over to the bar and order a drink We walked over to the bar, and by the time we sat down, spoke with the bartender and exchanged pleasantries and looked over the menu and placed an order for a cocktail they walked over to let us know our table was ready. I told the hostesses that I had ordered a drink, and she went back to the bar once it was ready and brought it to our table. The waiter we had was wonderful and explained the menu and made suggestions and was very attentive the entirety of our visit. The food we ordered was fantastic, and we will certainly make a point to stop back by if and when we are back in the area!! 10 out of 10!!!❤️

Went for our daughter’s 21 Birthday. Food was good. Restaurant was clean and well laid out. Our server was great, Eddy J., he joked and played around with us. Why I didn’t give a 5 star is for 2 reasons. 1) Trying to get a reservation for 9 people a week in advance. Friday was booked, Saturday was booked, and Sunday was the only day we could go and at 11:30. Would have rather had evening. 2) Prices are so high and the food is not amazing. Not worth the cost in my opinion.

WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE! Ford lover or not, you've got to try this place. There are so many cool things to see inside and out. Older cars, the truck with the bed as a seating area, and all the items on the walls. The food was really good. The mixed drinks are good as well. The staff are very friendly and took care of us the whole time.

Still looking for a craft Hazy IPA, none here at the time. Bartender didn’t mention, nor did I notice the cool iced ledge around the bar to keep your drink chilled until I was leaving. Too hot to have hot or fried food. Ford car thematic, cool gas pump door handles.

This place looks very interesting, everything is in car mechanic theme, they probably spent lots of time taking care of all of the details to be able to make it looks nice and attractive to visitors. I’ve been in few different franchise restaurants SW Florida and had a great time at all of the venues. The food is just delicious , burgers are excellent big portions, juicy and full of flavor. Also the appetizer selection is pretty good and you won’t go wrong with anything you choose. There’s also a big selection of beers plus they have big selection of rotating beers, which is pretty interesting because you can try different beers at different times you go there. Staff was always very friendly, always helped out with seats and table selections and with everything else.

Mediocre which would include the service and the food. Not impressed came with better expectations and it was a disappointment. Two burgers and they were OK nothing spectacular with potato chips house made, which didn't add to the lackluster the overall experience the bar looks very unkept and sloppy Cases of wine uncork just sitting on top of a cooler bright sunlight just over appeal and affect messy. Everything felt sticky to the touch the wood countertop at the bar and the stools like the hood. System wasn't ventilating and all that grease it just on everything.

I'm visiting the area an I met a friend at this restaurant in the River District. Our server Katie was super attentive and helpful. I ordered the grouper sandwich which was fresh and tender. I also liked the chips it came with. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich which was described as "just OK. " The atmosphere inside was a bit dark for lunchtime. Maybe it's better in the evening for dinner. There are so many restaurants in that area I probably wouldn't come back on the next visit.

Before heading for 4th of July fireworks tried this restaurant and asked for the chicken parmigiana -taste was good “but” pasta wasn’t“al dente “…also my wife asked for bolognese penne pasta with same results…service was good.

Had dinner at the Firestone grill room while visiting Fort Myers. This four story industrial style restaurant features 2 levels of dining, a martini bar, and a sky bar. We had reservations and were seated quickly and served promptly. The menu has a nice array of steak and seafood. The four of us ordered steak (2 split the 32 oz tomahawk). Althiugh the tomahawk seemed small, all were prepared to order, tasty, and came out quickly. Server seemed to be in a bit of a rush to get us finished up and we toured the martini bar and sky bar before we left. All in all, not bad and will visit again.

We love this place! Food is cooked perfect! Michael the bartender is the best! We fought the rain and were so happy we did. I just felt bad for Jordan our waiter who was great, but I felt like he was alone that night. Edit: last month the revised the menu. Tonight we had a few classics they put back on the menu! Yeah!!! Calamari and Crab cake. Edit 4/28/24. Update on menu. Many of the favorites are back!! Including sushi !

We just stopped by there, traveling through Florida. I was impressed! Great place, amazing atmosphere, tasty food, friendly staff! Sky bar is very cozy and well done with interior design, spectacular view and sunset! The most impressive to me was the live music! They are amazing: the girl and guy( sorry, didn’t ask their name) were preforming the popular songs in their own arrangements and interpretations! So touchable))) Highly recommend this place and I’m sure we’ll be back there!

Great place to watch football. Several very large TV's. The food specials from 11-3 are good. $1 off wings $1 off draft. The food has good flavor. We had some wings, pulled pork, pork rinds, salad and cuban sandwich. Everything was good. Service was ehh.... I don't know if our server Carrie was having a bad day or needs to find a new line of work. I think they had her trying to work the bar and work tables. That is not a good move for management and you could tell she wasn't a fan by her attitude. I will be back but hope the server will be better.

We truly enjoyed our BBQ dinner right on the strip in Ft Myers. This is a cool area to bar hop, there are tons of live bands and lots of bikers. This is a more southern styled restaurant. The ribs were fantastic and our gator bites hit the spot! I love seeing fried green tomatoes on menus too. We would definitely come here again.

Note: you can no longer pour your own beer, the system was abused by former customers. Sat at the bar, good beer selection, the beers on the wall where once you pour your own are different taps. Had a 2 chicken platter-the pulled chicken was dry flavorless chopped pieces not pulled. Attentive service, a lot of sports tvs, accessible.

Ramsey our waiter of the evening was phenomenal. We went out as a family to celebrate my cousin getting married. Normally when we go out my step dad is… a little difficult (hope he doesn’t see this.) but Ramsey knew how to handle him with demure & humor. He was hilarious yet formal. His jokes made the entire experience ten times better. The food was also 10/10. It was my boyfriend, cousin and her husbands first time and they loved it. The lamb was amazing ! From the moment we walked in with the valet & the bartender were a great start. It’s my second time and I’ll be back

Nice fine dining experience. Food was great quality and portions were easy to share. Extensive wine list. Great place for special occasions.

We went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We knew it would not be a cheap dinner but this is a big celebration. I ordered the Chilean Sea bread which was delicious and my husband had two fillets with blue crab on top also delicious. We both enjoyed our salads also. The chocolate pate for dessert was wonderful!!! My only criticism is that we ordered tea and that was our mistake. We got one cup of tea each (in a small teapot) and it was $5.80 per person. I will stick to water next time. I can't see how that is justified for a teabag. Otherwise, a lovely evening.
