Grace restaurant in Mobile was exquisite. The ambiance was elegant, the food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. Mike went beyond our expectations with his friendly, courteous and funny demeanor. He provided excellent service, knew the menu well, and offered great options for us as first-time visitors. The duck salad was amazing! The food is made from scratch, and the hand-crafted cocktails are sinfully delicious. They also have a rooftop bar, which adds to the charm. The Lump Crabmeat & Fried Green Tomato is to die for, and the Roasted Duck Spinach Salad with blue cheese, toasted pecans, onion, and bacon balsamic vinaigrette is outstanding. We can’t leave out the dessert Strawberry Shortcake….it was delicious!! Every detail contributed to a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
Nice place for date night. The tabletops all have nice little lamps which make for a soft glow and cozy atmosphere. There are large t.v.’s at the bar area so if that’s your thing a guess it’s a good place to watch a game. Apps were delicious , wantons & wedge salad. I had a burger that was on the special menu & my wife had the beef pasta. My burger was decent despite being over cooked. My wife’s pasta dish was very soupy (not what we expected), however she liked it and it was very flavorful! We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the roof top dining experience when the weather cools off more!
1st time here, pretty big downtown Mobile "hole-in-the-wall", but Not! Roof top dining, a lot inside, had questions & the chef/Owner came out to answer them, kudos extremely helpful! Pork chops were on point hubs liked his steak &Bleu cheese mashed potatoes! Grilled broccolini left us all a bit wanting ♀️, everything else really was delicious Saturday night, so it did get loud hah, maybe we're old for the area & time-frame they opened the windows too & the pretty sheer drapes did nothing to keep the flies or the blinding sun out, didn't completely ruin the experience, just could've been better for sure!

One of the best restaurant experiences I had in Mobile. Located inside the battle house some of the best food and drinks we had on the gulf coast. Went on a Thursday (date night). Service was amazing food came out quick. If you’re visiting or a local you need to stop and check them out. Our waitress Rachel was amazing. Thanks
Friendly and professional service. The food was excellent. I recommend the short ribs with polenta. Make sure you have some patience because this is not fast food. This is a luxury that is cooked to order, and it is well worth the time. Come in with good company and enjoy a glass of wine, the decor, and some good conversation while your meal is being prepared by professionals.
Me and my boyfriend came to celebrate our anniversary and we were overall disappointed with the service we received. We had an 8 pm reservation and arrived early expecting to wait in the lobby till our reservation. They sat us right away which was very kind, after being seated we were not greeted for 23 minutes and we had to flag someone down to get our server. While we waited for waters we watched a birthday party being set up, get waters, and orders in before we even were able to get a server to look our way. We contemplated leaving multiple times but kept waiting because we had heard the food was good. I would normally have understanding for this if the restaurant was busy but there was only three other groups in the restaurant. When we were finally greeted and brought water we just went ahead and ordered everything since we had plenty of time to figure out the menu and knew they probably wouldn’t be back to our table until the dishes were ready. The food was okay but not at all worth the price point. While our server was very nice we once again had to flag him down to get the check to leave. The restaurant itself was small and cute but had no music playing leaving the room feeling awkward with the sounds of the bar karaoke being the only thing you could hear in the distance. We won’t be returning here but if you do go the only dish I really enjoyed was the risotto balls.

This is our first time dining here, and it was a great experience. We started with seafood gumbo & Soup du hour for the appetizers. The entree for the night was grilled redfish and coffee braised short ribs, and dessert was bread pudding. All the dishes were amazing. We'll be back again to try more menu items. Our goal is to try everything on the menu out. Thank you so much. See you all next time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
I am not sure of the origin of the name but this restaurant is definitely the real deal. My wife and I had a delightful experience here. The service was very good from a cheerful reception to a friendly and attentive server. The food was also very good, with large portions and a very competitive price. We would most definitely dine here again.
Initially it seemed like great choice but as we progressed it was a struggle. The 2 servers we had were great individually but our order got screwed up. All the steaks came out over cooked from rare = medium to medium = well done. The sides were great, but desserts was wrong and we ended up just taking them so they servers didn’t get hit. Definitely not sure I would give a second chance but maybe in a smaller group. We could have sent food back but we were there for fellowship and that is what mattered to us. For the money it was not worth it.

One of my favorite places to dine , love there pizza ,sub's , soups , fruits and desserts , and awesome service from the staff ...
I ordered potato soup without bacon. They put bacon in it, but the cashier handled it very well. The food was average, not as good as I have had at other new locations. The customer service was stellar. The cashier switched my soup to lobster bisque.
The sandwiches, soup and pasta salad was good. The service was fast.

We finally visited The Hummingbird Way last night. We ordered the tasting menu, and the flavors were exceptional! I was particularly impressed with the wine pairings. I don’t usually enjoy white, but all of the selections complimented the food so well. We also had the BEST server! She was attentive, professional, and polite. (We had the Wagyu as our main. I forgot to take a pic of the pork course, which was my favorite.)
This is a somewhat hidden gem in the city of mobile. I decided to try this place for dinner and I must say it did not disappoint at all! The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun, energetic and overall family & friends oriented. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and make honest suggestions which is always a plus. I am a fan of oysters and these did not miss the mark! They were not chewy and they were filled with flavor. The cocktails are something you can’t miss out on; they do not water them down and they get the job done. The steak was cooked to perfection! When the chef came around to the table I gave him praises for having one of the top steaks in the city hands down. The potato’s that were paired with it honestly left me speechless; just delicious! The wedge salad was simple, fresh and packed with flavor. The soft shell crab on the bed of greens paired so well together and the way the flavors meshed together is just wonderful! Up to this point everything was beyond great so it was only right to try the desserts! The crème brûlée was good however the pineapple upside down cake stole the show!! The waiter explained that this wasn’t a “pop in the microwave” type of dessert so it would take a little extra time but would be worth it. He did not lie!! You could taste the quality and difference from that of other restaurants. If you have not tried this place yet you are missing out on a great experience. After trying the food I understand why they have so many awards and have been featured on food network.
A lovely location in residential neighborhood. we sat in front room where the bar is located. The back rooms were very noisy and folks were enjoying themselves. My friend because it was her birthday had the tasting menu. She enjoyed it very much. The first course was 1 oyster and she wished it was more. Each dish was excellent. I had the hanger steak a little tough, but that was expected. Cooked medium rare with red wine reduction. Potatoe hash with bacon was good. Oyster bisque was enjoyed by the others, but there was not much in the bowl. My other friends had the salads, fried chicken livers, and wontons- from starter section. The waitress did not have much to say, no recommendations, and no description of the food. She did not even tell us the cost of the tasting menu until we asked ($100) if you got the red snapper dish and $165 if you chose the ribeye. Extra cost for wine paired with each course. She barely spoke and smiled once when my friend said she was pretty. Another waitress came over and chatted with us when she learned we were from New Orleans.

Fancy. Fine. Fantastic. Dauphin’s is a great experience. Fine dining with a casual atmosphere. The food is fabulous, the view is breathtaking and the service is top notch. The vibe is elegant but not stuffy, it’s a very comfortable dining experience. We were a party of ten and all were very happy with everything. The table had steaks of different sorts, pasta and seafood. As usual, I was able to partake of all dishes and I can attest… all great. The presentation is awesome and the servers were fun and friendly. Great experience !
We had a fantastic experience here. The view was amazing, the food and service were as well. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the wine, specials, and oysters. Entree prices were similar to other upscale restaurants with a view others cannot provide. Great job Dauphins. We will return any time we are in Mobile.
Celebrated my wife's birthday and it was a hit! I cannot say enough about everyone who worked there! Our server even brought my son some binoculars to enjoy the view with, and what a view! If there is a better view in Mobile, I do not know what it is! Everyone devoured their food and it was reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Lovely dinner. Pot Roast was a bit fatty for my taste. Great flavor just not the best portion of beef rib I guess. Fried pimento was awesome. Wedge salad also great.
I started eating before I remembered to snap my pics lol but I had the Pot Roast and it was divine! But more than that were the fried pimento cheese balls! I'd go back just for those! Service was great and we enjoyed it.
Good southern fried pork chop, greens and grits. I wasn't a fan of the old fashion but the negorni was great! Our waitress was tip notch.

Friday night date night. Food and service was great. We had the lamb and hangar steak very tasty . Our server Celeste was great, very informative, friendly and professional. Our left overs weren't brought back to the table so we forgot them. We tried to call but the restaurant was technically closed so no one answered after walking back due to road closers Celeste immediately tried to make it right. The kitchen staff graciously agreed to make our left overs again after Celeste spoke with them. We truly appreciate the effort and customer service from our server and the kitchen. We will definitely try to make it back.
Food was good. Service was better. The food I thought was a little over priced for the amount I received and the flavor. It was still very good so I would recommend this place but just understand that it's 5 out of 10 stars for me. The salad was minimal. The appetizers may be better than the entrees!
The food was beyond description. My words are not worthy of the taste, quality and beauty of presentation. Our wait person knew all about the dishes and made it impossible to pick one favorite, so we all ordered different apps and dinners and shared back and forth and narrowly chose our favorites, each according to our personal pallette, but these very close choices as everything was amazing. One of the best of my life, classic Old Fashions was my choice as to accompaniment. I wish I had room for dessert. 19 years at the same location and it is easy to see why Noja is consistently the Top Restaurant in the Mobile market.

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the experience is wow. Walking in to a light, bright atrium filled with happy people, smiling and enjoying the food as much as the company. The staff was bubbly, knowledgeable, and helpful while giving us the chance to relax and choose the flow of our meal. The menu was diverse and interesting - rarely do I have trouble choosing a dish these days! The trout was a show stopper. Bright, light, perfectly cooked fish with fresh herbs, some citrus, and vegetables to add texture without taking away from the star. "Why the steak?" I asked, since you can order it anywhere. Well, let me tell you that this is not just a steak. The cook, the tenderness, the flavor, the sauce, the sides...this is a steak dish to remember. This restaurant could easily be Michelin Bib Gourmand. Definitely visit if you're in town.
Stopped in for lunch and was seated right away. Ordered a chicken fricassee with squash casserole and melon salad. We also oredered the cornbread stuffed chicken thighs with potato wedges and melon salad. The fricassee wasn't bad it was bland. The other chicken dish was excellent in flavor and preparation. Would eat here again if in the area.
Really delicious and great atmosphere! I am sensitive to salt and sometimes dishes can be too salty for me. This was not the case! Flavors of each ingredient was pure and clean. The dessert, tres leches, was nicely spiced too!!
