Great food and beer! We love sitting here with the family. The staff are very friendly, and my kids like the food.
Atmosphere was great. Small place. Probably a great place to watch a game during playoffs. Beer selection amazing. Service was meh. The person who seated us was great. Our server not so much. Took almost 15 minutes to get a refill on drinks. She barely checked in. Food took almost 45 minutes for a burger and pasta plate. It was not super busy or I would have understood. I would drink here again at the bar but would not dine here again.
Was in the area on a late midweek night, we hadn't gotten dinner yet and found this gem. It's technically a bar imo with decent sized tables. But who am I to complain since the food was tasty. The General Tso's popcorn cauliflower appetizer was super crunchy and my wife who hates that vegetable actually loved this. So I'd call that a good surprise. The wings that we also shared were impressive. I thought it was just going to be wings tossed in a sauce but the General Tso's Chicken flavor was pretty spot on. It had a tiny bit of heat but nothing I don't think anyone couldn't handle. I personally would have enjoyed it with a bit more heat, but that's just me. We had such a good time talking and snacking by the time our orders were at our table we just dived into our main dishes. My Orzo veggie bowl was delicious and perfectly prepared, I actually skipped adding meat to it and was pleasantly surprised that it stood out on its own. Was told that the Ghandi burger was "soOoOO good!" They were considering the Impossible burger but said they would absolutely order this again. I didn't get any response from my other mates because we stayed longer than usual on a weekday night. We all went our separate ways but I definitely have to say that the food was scrumptious. I do however feel like the staff, as friendly and helpful as they were had been sitting in the corner periodically staring at us which was kinda uncomfortable for some. And since they were there you'd think they'd stop by to refill drinks etc, nope. None of us had alcohol so we assumed that is why we didn't get noticed. It was a huge deal but I'd definitely ask why they don't have an employee breakroom or they didn't just sit in a back booth. They just casually and continually stared at our direction and it was very awkward. However for sure don't let that scare you off going here. It should be on your list of places. Considering right next door is a 'Alcohol Bodega' of sorts. I just kinda wish we had access to eat in there too (three TV's were on in the restaurant). I imagine during the weekend's this place is packed. On a side note they did have seating outside but we weren't sure if you could sit there. They even have those tall heater's next to the tables with a plastic wall for the wind and sun. We plan on coming here again for sure. Maybe sneak peek on mother's day since my wife enjoyed it so much. As my mom would say: τρώω (tróo), ολοκληρώνω (olokliróno)

Ryan Christopher's - Narberth - We had a most delightful meal at the cozy and charming Ryan Christopher's. I was jonesing for soft-shells crabs and after some googling and yelping couldn't find much besides places downtown. I made a few calls and they confirmed they did have them today. They served complimentary bread with a lovely pesto-olive oil dip. Ambience-wise it was nice to be able to sit outside and watch the neighborhood scene outside on a lovely almost-summer evening. Our server was Kim, who was quite personable and friendly. We had the bacon-wrapped scallops, soft-shell crabs over a butter-garlic sauce on a bed of pasta, crab cakes with cheesy mashed potatoes, "fish and chips" which was actually grilled grouper with latkes. We brought our own peach Moscato which paired perfectly with everything. Portions were pretty generous. We all really enjoyed our meals. My shrunken human REALLY loved this place and give it a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review. He asked this morning when we could go back. He was enjoying the food so much he forgot to demand to have screen time during our meal. Very lovely and memorable meal.
During our visit to Saint Joseph University, we were in search of a dining spot. By using Google, we stumbled upon Ryan Christopher's, a restaurant located near SJU. What a fantastic discovery it turned out to be! The weather was pleasant, so we opted to sit outside, and it was truly delightful. This restaurant, owned and operated by a family, was simply impeccable. The quality of food and service exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, we will make sure to return on our next visit to SJU!
Hands down the best food in PA! Can't get any better than this family owned restaurant! You gotta try their coconut shrimp which are almost the size of a dollar bill! The mango marmalade sauce is amazing!
