Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Woodbridge – 2024

Last time going here…and I want my money back..because what!??? I would rate the customer service overall at a 4..management does try to resolve all issues which is a plus and are attentive while you wait for your food. The atmosphere is a 5 …but the quality of food has significantly decreased and the last few times I have ordered have been a disappointment. I think I will just take the L and drive to the fairfax location.I keep going back giving them a chance for convenience since I live in Woodbridge but I am tired of wasting money on poor food. I went to the fairfax location just a week ago and the food was excellent! I’ve also been to the one in Gaithersburg..also great. It’s only at woodbridge that we have issues ! Woodbridge service is extremely slow to begin with..usually understaffed but then you wait over an hour to get food and it’s either wrong or cold. The substitutions are noticeable and they never give you a heads up. One time I ordered steak fajitas and the meat was a completely different cut..Today, the tortillas were not the fresh from scratch tortillas they normally have..instead, they appeared to be the store bought ones lol…the rice was hard and dry and the steak and chicken was also dry.. and can I even eat that chili below!??? I LOVE Uncle Julios..just not this location and will not be back

my boyfriend and i enjoyed fajitas and i have to say, these were the best fajitas i have ever had. the tortillas were so fresh and the meat very flavorful. only thing that was upsetting was our servers lack of knowledge on the menu items and his “casual” attitude towards us. i understand he was new to the job but he didn’t have really any understanding or confidence on the items. i would 100% come back. vibes were 10/10 and food was very tasty.

Had a wonderful waiter and time here for a retirement party. I ordered the following: Complimentary salsa: 8/10 nice Smokey taste The Swirl: 9/10 very strong and delicious Spicy Peña: 10/10 I love a spicy marg; definitely an acquired taste Tex Mex combination dinner: 7.5/10 chicken was well seasoned and the sauces actually complimented each other. The decor was very eloquent and a shock to me. Would return if in the area.

We came in on a Saturday night and were able to get a great table outside with our baby. Our server, Riley, was on it and did a great job. Our drinks and food came out quickly and the course timing was perfect. We enjoyed the crab and spinach dip and we loved the pickle fries, which are cut like actual fries (if you’re a pickle fry person, you probably know what I mean by that lol). I got the crab cakes and my husband got the special of the day (the T-bone). They came out amazing! We’ll definitely come back, especially since we live so close.

Service was fast and friendly. We went here for dinner and sat outside. They were doing karaoke that night. Fine with me, but just might want to check if it’s not your thing. I had short ribs and my wife had shrimp. Both were cooked perfectly. The short ribs broke apart with no effort. Definitely will return.

What a wonderful dining experience with our excellent server, Aiden! He made awesome recommendations and had us laughing the whole time. It helped that we also came on karaoke night! Very lively and fun atmosphere with great views. For the food, they have an appetizer knock off bloomin onion THAT IS MUCH BETTER THAN OUTBACKS. This has crispy breading and they should sue outback for making a mockery of this delicious app. Also recommend the carbonara which is very filling. I’m a large human that would normally consume pounds of seafood, but this was my first to go box in a while. 10/10 will be back

Great location and great service! Easy to join the waitlist. Texas Roadhouse is the most consistent and reliable steakhouse anywhere you can find them and anytime we are craving a juicy steak. Awesome 100-cal cocktails are a perfect addition to the drink list. My main go to is the 12oz ribeye cooked to medium temp topped with mushrooms. Great with sweet potato and broccoli. Fresh sweet bread is always a treat. Shrimp skewers make a great choice for lighter fare, ask for lite seasoning if you prefer less salty. Another great dining experience!

prime rib and BBQ ribs were great! Also server Dasha was very kind and keeps checking us to see what we need! it was great experience in local. Definitely go back!

My only complaint about this place is the horrible service one receives an hour before closing. I ordered about 65 dollars worth of food and drinks and honestly I deeply regret it. The steak was good, although it was not hot. In addition my French fries were cold. The bar tender told the manager about me wanting hot fries, the manager have her a basket with more luke warm fries. A clear message that the staff are not concerned with reviews.

I recently visited Joe’s for dinner, and overall, it was a decent experience. The wait to be seated was minimal, and the service was good—prompt and friendly, with no issues to complain about in that regard. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the menu offered a variety of American dishes with a twist, including their take on a Cuban sandwich, burgers, and fries. However, here’s where the experience fell short: the price-to-quality ratio. For a restaurant that markets itself as “not average,” both the food quality and service need to live up to that claim—and unfortunately, they didn’t. While the food was good, it wasn’t exceptional or memorable enough to justify the higher price point. Similarly, while the service was adequate, it wasn’t elevated in a way that would make me feel I was dining at a place above the norm. If you’re going to position yourself as more than “average” and set your prices accordingly, then the entire experience should reflect that promise. Otherwise, it leaves diners feeling like they’ve overpaid for a standard dining experience. In summary, while I had an enjoyable dinner, I expected more from Not Your Average Joe’s. It’s a good spot for a casual meal, but I’d suggest aligning the quality of food and service with the pricing and branding to truly stand out.

We came in around 5:30PM on a Thursday and it was quiet, just a handful of tables were taken. We were not seated in the center of the dining area but off to the side by the window which felt not as bright and there were crumbs on the seat. These are minor points. The chicken dumplings were tasty but the pizza was okay, nothing special. What disappointed the most was the entree. I got the penne alla vodka and it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. After a few bites, my lips were starting to tingle from the red chili flakes. I double-checked the menu, and it made zero mention of it being spicy or containing chili flakes. We were on the road for a long time so we were really looking forward to eating and this was disappointing.

2nd time here at this location, here in VA. We've been to the FL location before. The fries are the bomb. Com! Please enjoy these pictures including our receipt. We got the prime rib, caramel pudding, tea, and a side of fries. Oh and they gave us corn bread. There is no funny onions or jalapeños in the cornbread, just how I like it. The caramel bread pudding has no raisins (yahoo!), but it's very mushy & very very sweet; it's great if you don't have teeth! (I DO STILL!) You can ask for a sample at the counter. Very yummy! There are 6 sauces on the table. I think you bus your own table? That's what we did.Yummy! Def we'll be back! The only thing that we wished was different, was, we wished we had a real knife for cutting the prime rib.

Man oh man, where do I begin. This is my first time at Mission BBQ and man, they are the sweetest people on the planet. They were so welcoming and saw how hesitant I was and suggested items to try for my first time here. Jada was my server and she was the sweetest! After enjoying my meal another worker came by and gave us 3 strawberry shortcakes as a welcoming for our first time at Mission BBQ. Food was 10/10. Environment was 10/10. And of course Service 10/10. Awesome place and people!

We went there on a Sunday afternoon and the service was fast, the food was great and the staff was EXTREMELY courteous and accommodating. It was our first time there and some of us went for seconds. The ice tea and lemonade THE BEST one could have at a fast food type place. Not to mention the food! Everything was delicious and we were spoiled by the shift manager (I believe that's what the lady checking in on us was ). She was so, so sweet and made us feel very welcomed.

Our party of four had a very enjoyable experience. My first time, ordered the seared salmon with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. The table bread was good and the bacon deviled eggs appetizer was delicious.

The food was okay. The service was good. I don’t personally enjoy the menu. This isn’t a place I would go without someone else wanting to be there. I will say the people I went with enjoyed themselves and frequent this restaurant .

We loved how attentive and personable our server Carlos was! He suggested to try the the Always in Fashion drink and did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Cajun or Aged Ribeye and mash potatoes.

This was a nice find. The restaurant had a live band that we enjoyed and had a late night menu. We had wings, egg rolls, fish, fries, flat bread and funnel fries. Overall the food was good but none of us were a fan of the fish. My only real complaint was one of our bills was over charged by $10 and the tip was clearly marked on the receipt.

Classic water side bar experience (in a good way) The Electric Palm is full of surprises from the music to numerous events they have like comedy night. It’s loud and fairly expensive but what do you expect? The electric palm has yet to severely disappoint me and I would come back for more. Go back on different nights of the week if you want a different experience. Plenty of seating, food & drink options, and live music. It’s loud, but just sit outside if you can’t handle it. My pictures are only from one time that I went there so it’s all appetizers and drinks. Oh, don’t get the catfish nuggets. They’re not good in my opinion, so much batter with no taste. ($14!). The fries and calamari were better. Overall, don’t come for fine dining with perfect service, come for the experience and fun atmosphere. It seems like a lot of people are regulars who come here.

Came here for an early dinner and enjoyed sitting outside for our meal. The seafood was fresh- got the crab stuffed shrimp and crab cakes. The coleslaw is a little underwhelming, needed more acid IMO. Service was great. Our server was very personable and nice to chat with. Drinks and good came out promptly. It's a great spot to come after being on the water or out at the pool.

We have ate here twice. The interior all though a little cramped and tight is very nice. The service is quick and the food is prepared fresh. We had a short wait for our food at lunchtime on a Saturday. I got the pineapple fried rice which was delicious. My son got the Siam chicken. This was also delicious and the presentation of the food is nice. If you enjoy Thai food I would highly recommend this place the next time you are at Stonebridge shopping.

I recently held a casual business meeting at this Thai restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. While the ambiance was a bit lively for a business discussion, the incredible food more than made up for it. We've been coming to this place for years, the new soft closing steam trays at the hot food bar are a nice upgrade. Staff was great, food was tasty, selection was good and if you don't see something you want ask for it. We always get the grilled pineapple and the cheese breads.

We celebrated Father's Day a week early. The food was amazing as always. The selection of salads, fruit, soups, and meat in the bar was fantastic. The carved meats they bring to your table were so tender and flavorful!! Plus, there's a waffle station, omelet station, and hot pasta station. The choices are endless, and we left incredibly full!! Can't wait until out next brunch.

Loved every bit of this place. Staff was super nice. The different steaks were very savory and cooked to perfection. Never had to wait long for someone to come by with more steak. My favorite thing though, had to be the grilled pineapple though. Atmosphere was pleasant. Music was at the perfect volume. Definitely recommend.

I enjoy the food from this restaurant. It is very tasty and lots of options and sauces. Food is ordered at the counter and then brought to your table. The fried pita bread is also very good. There is complimentary water you pour yourself onsite. Staff is pleasant and the parking lot is usually 95% full. It is clean and there are restrooms available.

It’s the first time that I eat at this CAVA and the place is very nice. We went a group of 6 and they very kindly add the same order number so we can have all the food together, but it wasn’t like lol, but no problem. I ate crushed avocado and it was super good, one chicken shawarma same. To drink a mink cucumber drink and it was fresh and good.

Today was my first time at CAVA and this location by Wegmans. The service is beyond Excellence!!! Everyone is friendly and the food was absolutely amazing!! Very fresh and plenty of healthy choices. The Manager was very nice and professional. He recommended the Cucumber Mint Tea and all I can say is DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be returning.

What I like about Bahama Breeze are their happy hours during the summer months. Its a top option after a workday. The location outside of Potomac Mills mall is great and no one can beat their patio vibe. If you’re lucky, you’ll dine listening a live guitarist or on the steel drums crooning Caribbean vibes. It is the next best thing to being on a cruise in this area. The service is a hit or miss given your waiter. We rarely dine inside it is so dim and dark. There is plenty of yummy eats and drinks! There is a bar and lounge seating with plenty of big screen televisions fixated on sports. This restaurant can cater to large dinner parties and gets quite full on the weekends. There is plenty of parking and you can make reservations online.

Wow! This place was really good. We typically don't like chain restaurants. However, this Bahama Breeze surprised us. The Honey Butter Crispy Sandwich had a simple presentation but was full of flavor. Hubby paired it with a tasty bowl of Black beans and Rice. My Island Snapper was perfectly delicious-- colorfully put together with fresh mangoes, red onions and avocado, plus a generous portion of well seasoned snapper over a bed of white rice surrounded by a decadent lime sauce. For dessert, we shared the Flaming Pineapple Butter Cake. Again, just wow! The table side rum flambe was a great ending to our lunch. We enjoyed our Island Snapper so much that we ordered 2 more to take home for our dinner from our great server Logan.

Excellent service from Luke and Gabby. Food came out so quickly. Great flavors. The kitchen was able to accommodate preferences of each dish. Always a relaxed, family feel at this Bahama Breeze.

Service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious. The margaritas were really good too. I'm normally skeptical about having cocktails because they tend to be all mixer, but these were really good.

My wife and I were working in Woodbridge, Virginia and we asked our awesome customers where is a good local and non-chain place to eat. They immediately recommended Aroma Latin Fusion which was about five miles away. Aroma Latin Fusion is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food, bottled beers, wines, and drinks. They have a simple menu that has something for everyone. You can have a delicious and fabulous meal coupled with warm, friendly, and attentive customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains! It can get very busy and we were warned by our customers that it might affect food service times... So arrive early and you won't be disappointed! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the host. She was very friendly and she had a very welcoming demeanor, a genuine smile, and she was very pleasant and professional. It was a Saturday around 05:00 PM and she immediately asked if we had reservations which we did not. She indicated that she would be back soon and returned with menus and immediately seated us. Gabriela S. was our server and she smiled, welcomed us, and immediately introduced herself. She poured us water and asked if we would like anything else to drink. My wife and I were fine with water with no ice. We told her about what our customers had recommended and asked her for her personal recommendations and favorites. She directed us to great entrees that you typically cannot get elsewhere. For my entree, I had already decided on the Lomo Saltado which our customers had recommended medium temperature and my wife ordered the Cazuela De Mariscos. Gabriela asked us if we would like any sauces and she brought out three delicious sauces- one of which was spicy. Everything was absolutely delicious and both meals were prepared, portioned, cooked to perfection, and were served hot. Gabriela S. was very attentive, friendly, professional, efficient, and happy to help! In short, the fabulous food and awesome customer service made for a great dining experience! Best of all, the restaurant is located in essentially a huge outdoor mall with lots of other food establishments and a variety of stores. This, you can walk around and walk off your great meal! We will definitely be returning here when we are in the Woodbridge, Virginia area!

I’ve wanted to visit Aburi Gardens International Restaurant for a few years now so I was super excited to be able to finally stop by today! The friendly server Christopher speaks Mandarin because he went to a Chinese University. I loved the Goat & Pepper Soup with Fufu and Motherland Combo with Jollof Rice, Spinach Stew (Egusi) with Beef & Fried Plantains. The goat & pepper soup here has a kick! I tried a bottle of Fula that was made with millet grain, whole milk, pure sugar, sour creme, pepper, salt, & cloves. It was like a spicier version of Horchata. I can’t wait to return for more pepper soup, fufu, and jollof rice!

Just ordered from here today and it’s ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I’ve been wanting to try African dishes for years. I’m super happy i came across this restaurant, I will definitely be ordering from here again:)

Best African food in Woodbridge!!! The food is PACKED FULL OF FLAVOR. Patrick in the front is sweet, funny and helpful. My family and I have been coming here since we moved to the area. Ordered at another African restaurant because it was closer and instantly regretted it. Definitely recommend.

My experience at Anna Maria Trattoria was pretty good overall. I went for lunch on a Friday and I was the only person in the restaurantv which was fine by me. I had the fried calamari to start and it was pretty good. For my main I had grilled veal with veggies. The dish was just okay. I thought the veal was a little bit bland and it seemed like the veggies were actually deep fried. They were soaking in oil, I could be wrong but I didn't love them. They had an excellent hot pepper oil though which was great with the bread. For dessert I had tiramisu and that was probably the highlight of the meal. It's made in house and it was very good. I'll definitely come back and try the place again but will order something different.

Loved this place! Brought me back to Italy, didn’t even feel like I was in Toronto. Ambiance: From the old school, but fancy, decor, to the oil paintings, to the tiny bar and the mom & pop feel, I loved the ambiance of this place. It honestly felt so European and I loved it - made me forget about my life for a bit and took me away. Food: 4.5/5 - I asked for a recommendation and got the house made gnocchi with the meat (veal) sauce. It was fantastic and will definitely be back again one day when I’m in the area for this. It truly was a delicious meal. A little on the pricier side, but worth it. Service: 5/5 - very kind and attentive waitress, who I assume might be the owner! Overall, loved it and looking forward to having this again one day.

This restaurant never disappointed me. Every time we went, the quality of the food and services were always above and beyond expectations. The noodles were always nicely cooked with texture, the meats were always perfectly cooked to your preference and their tiramisu were always moist. You will not find any other tiramisu that are better than what they served. It is something we must order along with their espresso to end an excellent meal.

Great food. Very accommodating. Taste amazing. Ask for a chef's special. They put more effort into that dish. Great new drinks, the Smokey old-fashioned is 10/10. Service could be better. I will be back for the food. It was great.

Everything is wonderful from food to service and vibe. I’ll recommend coming here and our server was amazing his name is Alp. We came here Saturday and busy but the food and drink is on time. Such an amazing restaurant. The fish tacos fire 10/10

Been here 2 times now and everything about this place is great! The portion sizes are big, price is reasonable for the quality of food as well. There can be a wait sometimes if you don’t have a reservation, but it is definitely worth it. The mushroom truffle pasta and the sausage and fennel pasta is to die for. They also hand make their mozzarella every day. The customer service as well is great, the servers know their stuff and are really helpful with any questions you have. 10/10

I had been to this location before as this is one of my favourite restaurants, but this time was different. My mother and I were travelling out of town for a medical appointment and decided to stop in for dinner, and received the absolute BEST service from our waitress Liz!!! She was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. We even ended up bonding over our love for travel and country music. On top of that, the food was AMAZING. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend! Hope to see our waitress again too!

Arriving earlier than our reservation, we were promptly seated in a charming booth, setting the tone for an excellent dining experience. Our waiter was attentive and personable, enhancing the meal from start to finish. We began with the spicy funghi pizza, followed by the truffle mushroom mafalde and the sausage & fennel rigatoni for mains. Each dish impressed with exceptional quality, thoughtful presentation, and generous portions. We left thoroughly satisfied and delighted. This location outshines the Mississauga branch, delivering superior taste and craftsmanship in its pasta dishes. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. If you’ve never been before, just get the margherita, also ask for a roasted garlic and chili oil on the side. The atmosphere is great, very classy and chic. Other menu options are great too, but thag pizza is just something else.

Had a fantastic meal @motorinorestaurants the other day! We first started with the guavarita, then the mushroom mafaldine, burrata and a side salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly, but we especially loved the creamy mafaldine; service was also on point. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Vaughan area!

Amazing food and customer experience. David and his team went above and beyond to ensure our family had a great dinner. The southern Italian style pizza is our fav- best in Woodbridge hands down in our humble opinion. The calamari and burrata salad apps were perfect. We will be back!
