Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Sterling – 2024

I submit that this is the best Italian restaurant in Northern Virginia. Their food is consistently delicious. I've never tasted a dish that wasn't outstanding. The service is always superior and the ambiance is great. The cute patio is perfect for warm nights. The pricing is competitive with most entrees $20-25. The portion size is generous, which makes for a great lunch the next day. Urbano is a family-owned restaurant, support local!

Sweet Italian cafe. The place is cozy and the staff is very friendly. They will serve you the best and let there best to make you fulfill your needs. The girl kept on asking if we need anything after every meal. We tried smashed potatoes and tomatoes sauce pasta. The potatoes were good. But I liked the pasta more. The pasta was hand made on the spot by twisting flour and sauce was also home made or cafe made. The taste was simple and amazing. The pasta didn’t felt like over or heavy evening after eating half. I guess the quantity was less for two as per the price but still bad. If you are looking for a bit of Italian pasta made fresh like Italy then must visit this place and taste according to your experience.

We loved our meal here! The ambiance inside felt like a home kitchen while still feeling very modern and professional. The outdoor dining was perfect for a cool evening. The negroni I ordered was probably one of the best I've had in a while! I had the Strozzapretti and it was perfection!

First off. The server Karim (Simon) is so well knowledgeable. As soon as we were seated he attended to us with some great recommendations! He knows the menu and this restaurant. Good to see in a field where so much has fallen in the past years. The Views are amazing outside. They have great specials for drinks and brunch on the weekend.

Distinctly unique wings. In fact, I can’t remember eating better ones. The Tequila Pasta is a delightfully, delicious culmination of flavorful ingredients. The service is remarkable. Grand experience

Ambiance is good. Reminds you of old timey steakhouses with many large rooms. Service was good. Food is a 3. We were there for a comedy show. Wasn’t that entertaining.

We've dined here several times and has always been a good experience for us. They get really busy during dinner, so you might have a wait before getting a table. I recommend making a reservation online if you have a big group. If it's your first time here and you don't know what to order, try the pork chop. It's our favorite. I've also ordered the chicken dishes and jambalaya pasta, they were a good alternative to the pork chop. They have a decent selection of beer and cocktails. If you have any questions, they have a very friendly and helpful staff. Every time we've been here, we usually have a large group, the staff has been very attentive and make sure our order comes out correctly. Our last time here, Laura, was very helpful in answering our questions, promptly getting our order out and refilling our drinks. We look forward to our next visit. Also, don't forget to order the key lime pie, so good

Sweetwater is a really nice experience. The crab fritters were out of this world. Jacqueline was our server and she was outstanding. Great atmosphere and the meals were absolutely delicious. Great drinks as well as the on tap beers were great and the mixed drinks were on point. Worth the visit if you're in the DC area.

Overall, the place is very nice. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and pretty good food Well, most of it. The chicken tenders were a bit of a mystery. The breading was delicious, crunchy, and light, but I could hardly find any chicken inside! The same thing with the fried calamari—there were more onions than actual calamari! I mean, guys, it’s a great way to cut food costs, but it’s not going to bring guests back ☝

Amazing place and great taste for the food. It takes me back home to finally find the right taste for Shawarma and Falafel. Both shawarma beef and chicken are amazing in taste and flavor. The flavors are consistently outstanding, and I always leave satisfied. What sets SK Shawarma apart is not just the incredible food but also the welcoming atmosphere Fahad has created. He genuinely cares about his customers and put a lot of thought into every dish. His passion for the food shines through, making each visit feel special. It’s a gem in Herndon that you won’t want to miss! My go to is the chicken shawarma wrap today I tried the chicken and beef Kofta platter and 10/10 recommend!

I'd recommend teaching customer service to the hostess, Marianna?(couldn't read her name too well)that was attending the host stand. Didn't greet, smile, or gave any effort to make it seem like she cared. One comes in all happy and looking to enjoy food, yet she kills the mood. I'm surprised how she got the job, with that personality of a brick. Regardless, the food is good. The unlimited pasta is a steal for the price, as long as you eat more than one plate of course. The atmosphere is good, one of my favorites for these restaurant chains. Our server was great, very lovely and attentive.

Really enjoyed the food and the Service was awesome too! The portions are really big so be careful with ordering Starters! But you can take the food with you if you can't finish it. Our waiter was super kind.

A very friendly and fast service from the team. Their food, especially the delicious and plentiful pasta. Your drinks are very well presented and refreshing. The atmosphere is very harmonious and spacious. Ample parking and its location is ideal. We will definitely be back soon. Dayonna was a friendly, nice, and attentive server. She always made sure that we were happy with our food.

This restaurant is the perfect spot to catch a football game! The atmosphere is lively, with plenty of screens to watch all the action from any angle. The food is fantastic, with great game-day options like wings, burgers, and cold drinks. The staff is friendly and keeps things moving smoothly, even when it’s packed. It’s an awesome place to enjoy the game with friends!

This is one of our family's favorite restaurants. The portions are good, the food is delicious, servers are polite and friendly, the only thing made me put 4 stars for service is that it takes longer than usual time for them to bring food to you even during the week. My favorite is their French Onion soup, their nacho platter, and burgers.

The birria tacos were meaty and tasty. The enchiladas were sloppily prepared and a third grader could have done a better job. There were plenty of employees tending to the table but they were poorly trained and messed up repeatedly. The ambiance however is colorful, festive and well thought out. Good for a night out with drinks but not if you consider yourself a foodie. Wash down the mediocrity with a drink or three.

On a late Saturday afternoon there was ample seating available. We were a big group and the service was fast. The food was good, everything we ordered was very good. The ambience is nice. For a birthday celebration they quickly arranged a sombrero hat and the entire staff came to sing and decorated the dessert - it was a nice gesture. Definitely on the pricey side.

This place was a delight! Came out late night for the big 45 and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and while the service was just a little slow due to not enough servers but she was very pleasant and our orders were accurate.

Fantastic food and great service. Shout out to Meyvelin and Joe for their great hospitality! This was especially notable as things initially got off to a very shaky start (we nearly walked out!) as a result of the "bar seating" situation being very unclear, HOWEVER our servers went above and beyond to make it right. We'd definitely be back again for the food and service.

Local Provisions is an exceptional Italian restaurant. My family and I recently dined there, and we were impressed! The homemade pasta was a treat, both visually and for our taste buds. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. We’ll definitely be returning!

Local Provisions in Sterling: A Culinary Gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just had the most incredible lunch at Local Provisions! The grilled scallops special was phenomenal—perfectly cooked with buttery, creamy mashed potatoes, capers, leeks, chives, mushrooms and crispy bacon bits. Every bite was pure bliss And don’t get me started on the lasagna soup! It’s honestly out of this world; a rich, comforting blend of flavors that you must try and the fluffy fresh bread compliments it very well If you’re in Sterling, this place is a must-visit! We came here tonight on a whim. We parked in the parking lot and the food smell from this restaurant was amazing, so we came in and it was the best decision. It does seem they have new management and perhaps a revamped system so it was a bit difficult paying, but it was still smooth! We loved the food here, as we were greated with the same aromas from the parking lot the Smokey wok aroma. Amazing food, friendly staff and great fresh flavors! We ordered the yucas and another dish for appetizers, and both were so fresh and amazing. For the dinner we ordered a fried fish dish mixito and the spaghetti lomo saltado with tenderloin. Wow, just wow, the flavors for the lomo saltado were so amazing and you could tell just how fresh all the ingredients were. They blended the flavors so perfectly with the onions, green bell and the tenderloin, so much so the noodles were perfectly complimenting the sauce! The fried fish was so fresh and each flavor was distinct, the fish actually had perfect crisp and the shrimp and calamari in the dish were chefs kiss!

They have definitely renovated their kitchen. The Chaufa Salvaje is a go back to Peru! the rice was perfect and the flavors amazing, the salad, the wonton And I can keep going on. Must try them

Very tasty food! The ceviche, the arroz chaufa and the causa are really good. I loved the different sauces and the "Canchita". The servers are friendly and kind. Strongly recommended.

Joe's Cafe is the place to go for breakfast! It was recommended by several coworkers during our visit in town. The 4 Deuces Breakfast Special is the meal to get here. It comes with two pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips, and two sausage links/patties. It's a great value too. They have a fast and friendly service here. The staff is very attentive here, never had to ask for a refill of on our coffee mugs. Shortly after we were seated, they took our order and we had food on the table in less than 10 minutes. If you visit with a large group, you may have a wait for a table during peak dining hours. Even when we've waited with a larger group (5+ people), we were usually seated within 15 minutes. We ate here pretty much every day during our time here. The interior is not large, but the space is efficiently used to maximize use of tables and chairs. The walls are decorated with police and military patches from various branches. It's pretty cool to check out. We're looking forward to our next visit here.

First time at Joe’s Cafe and we were very pleased. Great service with minimal wait, and food didn’t take long at all. Definitely recommend!

Love it here. Was looking for a breakfast place in the area, and Joe's Cafe was above and beyond what we were looking for. Went in at around 12:30 pm on a Wednesday, we got our food, ate, and were out by 1pm. Service is amazing. The waiters are extremely kind and efficient, and the food came out quick. Affordable as well. Definitely coming back.

Food: The food here is amazing! Every dish bursts with flavor and is beautifully presented. We ordered the mixed grill , appetizer sampler , and dessert board yummy ! Atmosphere: The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or a romantic evening out. Hookah:The hookah selection is great, and the staff are experts at preparing it just the way you like it. Dessert:Save room for dessert – it's heavenly! From cakes to pastries, each treat is a delight. Management: The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Overall, it's a fantastic place for delicious food, great hookah, and a cozy atmosphere.

My hubby and I are late-night regulars here. First-timers: try the Saffron Gold or old fashioned cocktails. The fried cauliflower and wings are also . Shout out whoever selects the DJs. Nice blend of music from the early 2000s to today plus some Middle Eastern bops. Great date night location.

Stopped in for a birthday dinner and had an awesome experience. They have an outdoor hookah lounge with lakeside view but we did non smoking so they sat us indoors. Decor was still great though and I really enjoyed the ambience. Food was amazing too. Appetizers we had the crabcake and 8oz hanger steak. Crabcake was decent but steak was really nice. Well seasoned and cooked nicely. For entrees we had stir fried lamb as well as prawn and lobster risotto. The risotto was good but the lamb really stole the show. Honestly some of the best lamb I've ever had! All around great experience and will definitely be back!

The food was tasty and flavorful, overflowing with herbs and spices. The dishes were not just delicious, but they were also very aromatic. Great salsa.

The service is attentive at Chuy’s. I can't complain- they were on top of everything. The food is ok. The best thing we ordered was the steak burrito. If we come here again, that is what I will always order. Everything else was a bit much. The servings are huge. Their special sauces are just ok. The tres leches for dessert was good but I've had better at Safeway bakery.

Overall, Chuys was a good experience. The food is pretty good although maybe not 5 stars. Service was friendly and responsive. Overall the atmosphere is nice but nothing superior. It’s a decent TexMex restaurant.

The food is good here. I’ve been coming to this location for a long time. Unfortunately, the manager on shift doesn’t seem to be into providing excellent customer service. I found an insect in my food. And while we were sitting outside in the CAVA designated tables, I feel like it was already sitting there. When I checked to see if it was possible (wasn’t necessarily expecting it) to get another bowl, I was told to speak to the manager. The manager responded with “It’s your problem, not our problem. You chose to sit outside.” A more respectful, kind tone is what is needed from a competent manager committed to customer service. I just left and threw my almost entire bowl in the trash. This is coming from someone who has had experience in the food/drink industry before. Please work on your customer service.

Sorry Chipotle. Cava has better portions (look at the photo), healthier food, better employees, and fair prices. You can't eat this healthy at a better price. Also Cava Sterling is the best. Their team is on point with cleanliness. Excellent customer service. So thoughtful. Highly recommended.

I am not really a healthy kind of person but I came down here for an event and cava was one of the closed things to me so I decide to give it a try. I order for ASAP and it gave me like a 10 min wait which was not bad. The website was easier to use as when I went to the pre-made bowls I found one I would like to try there. I did not really spend time in the restaurant hence the four stars and the other four stars for the food is because I am genuinely not a healthy foods person. Today I eat several vegetables I did not know if I would like them.

Incredibly delicious! A true treat, I would travel an awfully long way for the saltenas at Betty's! I don't think there's any food in the area that even comes close to this level of comfort food -- so very fulfilling (not just filling)! I also appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the wonderful service -- thank you to everyone at Betty's!

Came back for a Dine in meal… Great service and the food is even better. I got the thin steak, the beef jerk and the peach drink! Made with love and just fire Ooooooo BETTY can cook!!! I’m a chino and I’m in love with this Bolivian food :) my Bolivian mother-in-law pick up Saltenas and the peanut soup; The saltenas were full of meat and bulky, both full of flavor and made with some Betty love. I will be back for more.

This place was busy, I have real mixed feelings about it. There are just way too many many menu items and it’s overwhelming honestly. What I got was a huge portion that was ok. Nothing to write home about. They also don’t know if they offer waitress service or order and wait for your food. I was just confused in all fairness. The place could be a gem if they focused on 20 or 30 of their most popular items! Had table service and were good! I would go back but I wouldn’t make a special trip.
