Great spot to watch sports, service was great and lots of choices in terms of drinks. I recommend the classic sliders, chicken lettuce wraps, parm truffle fries and whisky black pepper tradition wings… that sauce is amazing!
I came here because they were on of the establishments that stayed open later. It was a party of 4 and we were seated pretty quickly! After that our waiter came over took out IDs and said to use the automated system to order everything but entrees and that he would try to get back to us but he was pretty busy. We attempted to use the automated system however we continued to get errors and the menu is pretty extensive so it was rather time consuming and detracted from the experience. Certain things we looked for from the menu didn’t show up on the system. So that was frustrating because we continued to have to call over the waiter for help. The food came, we ate, nothing spectacular but general bar food. We got two flavors for the wings (whiskey, and an Asian flavor) and they both tasted the same. The burger was cooked exactly to temperature so that was a plus! The jambalaya had a mesquite undertone. If you go here make sure to be patient and tech savvy!
This is the second time I am at this restaurant, in summer patio is very hot, so avoid if is possible. We have drinks and appetizers. And they were very good. We get impressed with the sashimi nachos, from all the appetizers this was our favorite. The service was slow but very good, I think this poor guy have a lot in his hands.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great dining experience at Thai Ghang Waan! The food was delicious and packed with authentic Thai flavors. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything from the Crispy Pork Belly to the Papaya Salad was spot on. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout the meal. The restaurant is small but cozy, which adds to its charm. It’s a great spot for a casual dinner with a relaxed atmosphere. Despite the smaller space, they do a fantastic job keeping it comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Thai food in the Springfield area. We will definitely be back!
Cute little Thai place serving authentic dishes. The entire meal with smoothly with the server providing helpful suggestions and answering questions regarding new dishes we wanted to try. The food was served amazingly fast, the spice tray was brought to our table without even my having to ask for it, and my water stayed filled. Thank you!
Thai Gang Waan is my husband and I's favorite Thai restaurant. I personally have been coming for decades back when it was House of Siam. From the isan sausage to their floating market noodle soup, everything is delicious. The service is always great even when the restaurant is packed. Don't pass on the Thai beer selections as the Muay Thai IPA is reminiscent of Thai tea with notes of lychee....amazingly addictive. By far the best and most authentic Thai food in Springfield.

Very good fried chicken & waffle breakfast, flavorful even though it's two thin breast cutlets rather than thigh meat, and the gravy & more savory zesty syrup were also very tasty! Mixed review from the kid on the gluten free coconut quinoa pancakes. They were out of black tea, disappointing. Even though we were the sixth party of two in line, they got us seated fast.
I’ve been here before, but this visit was disappointing. It wasn’t busy, and while the service was friendly, it fell short in quality. Our table and seats were damp, and the food was cold, to be exact. We also had to request utensils, and my husband’s salad was mixed with wilted greens. Overall, not a great experience. Definitely not coming back and we don’t recommend it anymore.
The menu is marked, so if you need gluten free then this place has your back. The prices can be a bit high but the food is pretty good. I wouldn't make this my go-to restaurant every week but it's a great treat every now and then.

Foodie Alert: Brunch at Mike’s American When brunch calls, you answer—and Mike’s American was calling loud and clear. My wife and I made our way there, and the first thing we noticed? The parking lot was packed. A full lot can sometimes feel like a headache, but let’s be real—it’s also a solid sign that you’re about to experience something amazing. After a quick hunt, we scored a parking spot, and the vibe only got better. Despite the crowd, we were seated in no time. Shoutout to our server, who was equal parts friendly and efficient—true brunch MVP energy. Now, let’s talk food. I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich, while my wife went all-in with the crab cake sandwich. The verdict? Both were absolute winners, but let me give a standing ovation to those fries. Crispy perfection. The atmosphere? Chef’s kiss. It’s the kind of place where great food meets great energy—an ideal spot for good vibes and even better eats. This was my first visit to Mike’s American, but I’ve heard the buzz before, and now I get it. They didn’t just meet the hype; they exceeded it. Final word: If you haven’t been to Mike’s American, it’s time to add it to your foodie bucket list. Trust me—your taste buds will thank you.
The hubby and I came to Mike's Grill for lunch on a date this weekend and it didn't disappoint. We were seated quickly although the place was fairly packed. Our server was kind and attentive and the food was great. We had the grilled chicken and havarti sandwich and the crabcake sandwich. The booth was nice and quaint and the decorations were super festive. Had a great time and will definitely be back.
20241113 We arrived around 2 pm for a lunch celebration, and there were 14 of us. We occupied one of the long tables at the bar. Our waitress needs more training in the areas of communication and customer service, and needs to ensure the customers don't miss what the menu has to offer. 1. Communication - she gave one of my coworkers an attitude when she was asking for her check. The waitress blamed us for moving out of our seats for the reason why she was having difficulty with distributing the checks. We were socializing and taking group photos after our meal. 2. Customer Service - the food arrived at different time. Some of us tried to wait for the rest of the food to arrive before eating but some took too long. 3. Menu - one of my coworkers ordered bread, and it never arrived. The waitress crossed it off the bill. I ordered the Penne Primavera and forget to tell the waitress that I wanted to add Chicken, which was listed as an option for this meal. I wished the waitress would have asked if I wanted to add a protein. Overall - the food was delicious as always. I wished my coworker got her order of bread and my other coworker didn't get an attitude from the waitress. I will come back again, but I wouldn't eat at the bar. I never had a problem like this when I sat in the dining room.

We had a great experience at Marib! The restaurant is lovely inside, the service was prompt and attentive and the food was very good. (The prices were great too!) My husband and I spent just over $50 for dinner - which is rare here in NOVA. The salads were fresh and flavorful. The bread was perfection! We did wish that stews had slightly more seasoning (especially my vegetarian veggie one), but we both like very bold flavors. The meal was comforting and delicious. Definitely worth stopping by and trying out! **It's good to note that they do not serve alcohol here.
This was a refreshing change for me. I hadn’t tried Yemeni food and thought this would be a good start. It’s in a decent location with adequate parking, which always helps. Immediately upon going in we were greeted and seated. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. As to the environment, it is casual and relaxing. The menu looked great and there were several things I wanted to try so my wife and I ordered several things we could share. Everything we tried was delicious, which included lentil soup, fatoush salad with pita bread, chicken haneeth (so tender with wonderful flavor), and saltah, which was vegetarian but honestly my favorite dish. Wonderful.
Marib: A Hidden Gem for Authentic Yemeni Cuisine!!! I've been a loyal patron of Marib for a while now, and it's become a place I can always count on for a fantastic meal. They've consistently impressed me, no matter what I order. Whether it's a mouthwatering main course or a delightful dessert, I always leave Marib feeling satisfied and happy. Marib is especially exceptional during Ramadan. Their Iftar buffet is a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable way to break their fast. It's not just about the food (which is, of course, incredible), but the whole experience. If you're looking for authentic Yemeni cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, Marib is the place to go. I highly recommend it!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The customer service was amazing from start to finish. I started with the Tiramisu Martini, which was well-made and tasted really good—creamy and delightful. For my meal, I chose the farm-to-table burger. The burger was juicy, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. At one point, the manager came over to apologize for my meal taking longer than expected and generously offered to cover the cost. Honestly, I was having such a great time that I didn't even notice the wait. True to his word, my meal was not added to the bill. Thank you for the incredible service and delicious food. I will definitely be back!
Service was ok but food and drinks were not at price level. Although the booth area had 1 party with a screaming baby, we were seated next to them. It would have been great to have been seated away from that party to at least have some peace during our night out. But regardless heres how everything else went. Soda was flat. Egg roll sampler was watery. I think if they were smaller in size it would hold the flavor better. Felt like there pockets of grease that didn’t mesh well with taste in general. The Buffalo chicken salad was decent and had huge serving. The baked potato was spoiled (pictured). The chicken marsala tasted off, I want to say it was the Asiago cheese but honestly it had a pungent taste that didn’t sit well with me. Lastly the fried chicken sandwich was fine but the fries weren’t good, they were so dry. No ketchup included. Maggie mcFLY herself came to check out if all is well and landed on our food. Fly’s inside a restaurant is just off putting. Also a $9 cupcake wasn’t the hype at all. Overall everything was mediocre & very pricey. This is the place to go to maybe for drinks and an app I believe but not for a delicious dinner.
Well, we decided to try this place and were sorely disappointed. To start with, it was miserably hot. We asked the bartender if it was always that hot in there. Her response was, "Unfortunately, yes." She said the air conditioning technician was out there and told them nothing was wrong with their system. Yet everyone in there was fanning themselves with the menu. We ordered the poutine. It was good but not great. The worst was the service. I had one beer and my glass remained empty for 15 minutes. No one came and asked if I wanted another beer. To be honest, it was so hot we couldn't wait to get out of there. So we asked for our tab and paid it We won't go back.

Review of Maggiano's Little Italy Last weekend, we visited Maggiano's Little Italy and had a fantastic dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. We started with the Zucchini Fritters and Margherita Flatbread, both of which were delightful and full of flavor. For the main course, we had the Eggplant Parmesan and Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce, both cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, and the portions were just right. To top it off, we indulged in their Tiramisu for dessert, which was the perfect ending to our meal—light, creamy, and delicious. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive and quick, ensuring we had everything we needed without any delays. We also appreciated that they offered a military discount, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed every item we ordered. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! (Attached are a few pictures from our visit.)
We had an incredible dining experience at Maggiano’s, and Reyna’s service played a huge part in making it unforgettable. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Reyna’s attention to detail was apparent from start to finish—she took the time to explain the menu thoroughly, offered personalized recommendations based on our preferences, and even checked in frequently to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Her knowledge of the dishes and her genuine enthusiasm made it easy to trust her suggestions, and we ended up trying some fantastic options we might have missed otherwise. The ambiance and food were wonderful, and Reyna’s exceptional service really elevated the entire experience. She anticipated our needs and her cheerful attitude added a personal touch that made us feel like more than just customers. Small gestures, like remembering our names and checking on how we enjoyed each course, made a lasting impression. Reyna’s passion shines, and it’s clear that she takes pride in creating memorable experiences for guests. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and hope to be seated in her section again. Thank you, Reyna, and the entire Maggiano team, for a truly outstanding experience/meal!
Stopped by to have some Italian dishes, the place did not disappoint. The food was great, the wait was not long, customer service was outstanding. I even got a birthday treat. Highly recommend Maggiano’s!

The burgers are very good. The service could be a lot better. I don't mind ordering at the counter but they need to have someone there that can take your order.
- This is a standalone restaurant. - Inside, there is a variety of seating, including both high tables and regular tables. There's also a bar area with liquor and TVs, 2 restrooms (for all-gender). - Soft drinks and ketchup are self-service. - Afternoon on weekdays, the vibe is so slow. No queue! [Opinion] - Their fries is the best big stick fries I've ever had due to its crispy skin and flavorful, fluffy interior. / The burgers are also juicy and fresh. / Onion is the real thick onion inside the crispy skin.
An overpriced, overcooked, under flavored and extremely greasy/soggy burger. I did take out, but only live 10 minutes away. I paid over $20 for a burger and side of fried eggplant. The fried eggplant was saved by a few minutes in my air fryer to crisp it, a few dabs of a paper towel to remove the actual dripping grease and salt to add some taste. The burger is ridiculously overpriced, every topping cost extra, even sauce. At this price I can't even choose how it's cooked and I expect it to me superior to other places where toppings are free and burgers cheaper. For example Five guys has cheaper burgers, better fries, for less money. A restaurant like Mike's nearby makes a better burger, that's cooked to order, for the same price. Overall it was okay, but for the price, it needs to be better and there are too many superior options nearby.

We stopped here for dinner while in town. I had seen a picture of the pikelia on Google reviews and really wanted to try it. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The service was fantastic. It was the highlight of our whole day. If you have room for dessert after the delicious food, get the baklava. You will be happy you did! It’s perfectly balanced between nuts, honey and cinnamon.
An excellent and authentic Greek option in the Springfield area. We lived in Europe for over 20 years and the food in Eleni’s is as good as the one we had in Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos - really good and huge portions. The Eleni’s Greek Tour is just WOW! My wife had the Gyros plate and it was equally delicious. The baklava is one entry not to be missed!
Wow. That’s all I can say. This place has large food portions and the food is packed with lots of flavor. I got the Greek carbonara and loved it. Ever since bite had a combination of pancetta, veggies and pasta noodle. Our server Rio was attentive and kind. I will definitely be back.

The best Tex-Mex in the DMV by far. Super affordable, even cheaper than Chipotle for what you get. Free chips and salsa when you sit down, their queso is amazing. The super burritos (and the Jose’s Mariachi Burrito) is so much food and super delicious. I always come here after a long run / for cheat meals. I would highly recommend giving it a shot! The space is very cosy, the service is great. You can even get a gift card from Costco to this place! I have been so many times that I have lost track. My girlfriend recommends the quesa-birria (ask for extra consume). Their flan and tres leches is also pretty good! One time there was a live mariachi band!
20240703 I haven't been here in so many years. I am disappointed that they changed their salsa. It used to have a lot of minced tomatoes and cilantro. Now, it's like salsa from a jar with mostly liquid. I made my meal selection based on the recommendation of the waitress between 2 shredded beef burritos off the lunch menu. Should have picked the other one. My meal was pretty good. The waitress didn't come back to check on us during the meal, but she did bring more water without us asking for it.
My boyfriend’s Carne asada steak and rice was good 4 out of 5 but my dish which had a beef burrito, and 2 beef enchiladas (one green sauce and one red sauce) was not good at all 1 out of 5 - the beef was very mushy and no taste, the sauces were ok but nothing to write home about. If the hamburger was better the dish may have been better. It was like eating Chef Boyardee out of a can. I had to force myself to eat half. And the salsa had a funky taste to it not quite sure what it was but kind of tastes like it came out of a jar. And the shells tasted like store bought not homemade. Chuy’s definitely has better enchiladas and burritos. To me we wasted almost $39 on food and could have gone elsewhere.

Stopped here after some shopping at the mall. Was seated immediately for 3 people. Service was good and food came out quickly. Food wasn't all that great. Beans lacked flavor and the rice was semi hard. Tacos were bland. Burritos tasted okay with one of their signature sauces. None of us finished our meals. Unfortunately this is another one and done for us.
Always stop at Chuy’s when we visit and this time was just as good as past visits! I ordered takeout this time instead of eating in and got my regular - house special Elvis Presley Memorial Combo. I modified it a little for all 3 enchiladas as beef with tex mex sauce on all 3 of them and double rice and no beans. No problem requesting modifications. Food was absolutely delicious I could not even finish it all and saving it for lunch tomorrow I did not even take a picture of the taco that comes with it because I ate it too fast lol. Also even though I ordered for takeout I still got the house made chips, salsa and creamy jalapeño dip and that was delicious as always also! Highly recommend Chuy’s!!!
Amazing service, delicious food and fun atmosphere! A little pricey, but worth it. Also, the drinks were yummy!

Easy 5 stars across the board. But what really stood out was the customer service. Smiles, attentive, always looking out for customers. Pro: - great menu - delicious breakfast - the pancakes and sausage patties omg - decor and establishment Con: - moderately priced Overall a fantastic spot! Will come back every time I visit VA!
Clean restrooms and good food. The Western omelette was fantastic I probably ate it in a record time. Wife got the eggs and bacon and she loved it. Our wonderful server Esly was attentive and always there if we needed. Resturaunt was packed and we still got our food at a good pace. I know it may be odd to rate a resturaunt off of its restroom but when you go into a restroom with an emergency you do t want to have to spend 5 minutes cleaning it enough to just hover above the toilet. The restroom here were spick and span. All in all great visit can't wait to go back.
Gross Gross Gross! Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you, Welp this is my third time ordering delivery and having partially missing/inedible food. The first time I guess they didn't have corn (I'm assuming) so THEY changed my side to mixed vegetables. The mixed vegetables are hard and flavorless. Then the gravy is super salty while the potatoes were bland. Like hospitals food bland. I should know as I just left the hospital 2 weeks ago. The second time they did it AGAIN! Update your doordash storefront and stop be dishonest with customers. From the picture can anyone tell what I'm holding? Would you be surprised if I told you it was supposed to be a country fried steak. The disgusting thing was paper thin and so stiff. The gravy is so stuck to one side it's just like dairy queen ice cream! Please avoid this place their obvious lack of care for preparing food people PAY FOR is dangerous. Someone's going to get sick one day. There's more but I'm hungry and now at 3:20am need to find food. I don't expect 5 star food but I do expect EDIBLE food. I tried to pull off the breading on oneside because it was clearly burnt and cold but ended up having to scrap it. Total waste of a dashers time and my money. I feel sorry for an establishment that has to rip off its customers just to keep the lights on. Guess what it was $22 for this CRAP.

First time at Wahlburger’s, and it was alright. I will say that the service is very good, with staff that’s helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the food is nothing special. The tater tots are crunchy and warm, but were average in terms of taste. The burger and the mac and cheese were extremely bland. Also, fries with a burger oddly come separately and you need to pay extra. The salad had a good variety of ingredients and flavors, and was fresh, but the chicken, similarly to the other items, was flavorless. Overall, if you’re looking for an easy place to eat out, try out Wahlburgers, but don’t travel just to check it out.
The classic “our burger” was a solid pick, along with the double which my boyfriend devoured. The fries were really good too, not too salty and very crunchy which I love. Would definitely recommend!
Inviting space with great service at the bar. The crispy fish sandwich was delicious. A hand breaded, panko crusted, flaky white fish with lettuce, tomato and balsamic tartar sauce. Wash it down with a Wahlbrewski beer! The only thing missing was a lively crowd to fill the all the tables. It was rather empty on a Wednesday evening, even when the two of the MGM restaurants were closed.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant has counter service, but can also sit down. Service was very friendly. We had the salmon with white rice, and the porchetta with corn on cob as the side. Also had a strawberry smoothie. The porchetta was nice and crispy on outside and tender inside. The salmon was cooked and seasoned well. The rice was perfectly cooked. Overall very good meal, the also serve a regular breakfast menu, which we will probably try next time we are in town and looking for something in the Forest Park area.
This new restaurant is clean and bright! The owner Jose is super welcoming and friendly. The food was both great and reasonably priced. I've read other reviews complaining about food quality but I have no such complaints. We got ribs, salmon, porchetta, and the bacon corn yellow rice. Everything was flavorful and prepared how I'd expect. Please see pics. My wife and I will definitely be back.
Visited on a late Sunday morning for breakfast. There were about a half-dozen tables with patrons but plenty of empty tables. You can either order at the counter or they will give you a menu so you can look it over and they will take your order at the table. The staff (probably the owners) were extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast ordering was easy and very reasonably priced. Service time was fine. Looking at the full menu we plan on returning for lunch or dinner to try out lots of delicious-sounding offerings. (I didn't rate the food simply because it would have been based just on scrambled eggs.)

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful -- the kind of place you'd like to have a long lingering dinner with your family. We loved the memorabilia all over the walls! Beer and wine menus were wonderful, I had the home-made bratwurst which was okay. I'd definitely come for drinks again.
Oh my gosh! This place is absolutely amazing with authentic German food. The atmosphere, the staff and the food is outstanding! My Schnitzel was as good as my German Grandmother’s, and that’s saying A LOT! The draft beer selection was wonderful! We will definitely go back to this restaurant when we visit Springfield again. LOVE this place.
This place is like stepping through a portal into Germany! The decor, the clothing, the hospitality…it was a step above! Def no cheap, but the food was delicious (I finally can say I’ve tried schnitzel with noodle), I specially enjoyed the cucumber salad!!! The indoor and outdoor spaces were just so unique and fun and one of the servers even gave me a tour and told me the history! Most of the place is accessible, it there are. A few stairs to enter certain areas (bathroom and main seating area is fully accessible and there is a ton of outdoor seating and even yard games and a Maypole). Parking is along the street adjacent to the side of the cafe, and I had not trouble finding parking.

Best turkish restaurant ever Always great food, service, and atmosphere. Had them cater for a big event today — everything was so fresh and delicious, all the guests loved it. Very professional, definitely recommend going there for food made with love!
Absolutely love this place… The wife & I always come here when we are in town. Great authentic food. So many options on the menu. Best of all is their customer service. They treat you like family here. 3 Thumbs Up & 5 Stars from us.
Immediately after I am shown to my table and given menus to peruse, a glass of cold water is poured, followed by "the bread is on the way." This to me is a welcome greeting. It is like saying thank you for coming in today. The place was not too full and had a fair amount of patrons, and it seemed their 2 servers had their hands full. Constantly greeting, taking orders, serving foods, etc. without a moment to slow down. So, with some patience on my part, I was served in a reasonable time. The food was served fairly quickly. It was me having to ask for extra napkins twice to get it that prevented me from rating 5 stars. Since I was undecided on what to have, I ordered the mixed cold appetizers (which may be a meal to itself) and the mixed grill. I preferred the first as it was full of flavor. The entree seemed somewhat bland in comparison. Maybe if it was served with more vegetables or a salad, perhaps? However, if you are a meat lover, you'll be happy. The meal was topped off with Cay (Turkish) tea only as I had no more room for dessert.

Drove 30 minutes out of our way to try the Red Rose because of all the reviews. The service was good, but our meal was mediocre at best. Portions were large. The homemade sauce is really good, the meatballs are delicious, the Veal Parmesan was decent, and the salad was good. A big let down on the Chicken Parmesan. No flavor on the chicken and rubbery. The fried mozzarella was terrible. One bite and done. Maybe an off night, who knows. The place was pretty packed and seemed like most people got pizza around us. Will try the pizza next time in the area.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The pizza was so good!! My ziti was perfection! Our waitress was awesome. Short wait, walking distance from the casino, and fantastic ambience!
The restaurant is a must-see in the area because it has a history and is greatly valued among the locals. The kitchen has a large window to see the action, and the restaurant is grand. This is a family restaurant; it is crowded and loud. The restaurant is perfect for bringing children and grandparents, not for a business meeting or romantic date. The restaurant is a fun place. The food is excellent but not gourmet. The staff is friendly. If you are a tiramisu connoisseur, you will hate their version of tiramisu; it is a combination of cheesecake and tiramisu, which the waiter/waitress discloses at the time of ordering. Parking is across the street, and it is convenient. Even on a busy night, you will find parking easily. The restaurant also has a bar, and you might have to wait to be seated on a busy day but still find parking easily.
Plan B Springfield is a dynamic and forward-thinking business dedicated to providing innovative solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients in the Springfield ar…
I recently visited Plan B Burger Bar near the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA, and had a fantastic time exploring their menu. I started with a Whiskey Smash—a bourbon-based cocktail served with crushed ice and mint. While the drink was well-balanced and refreshing, I only had a couple of sips. I realized alcohol just doesn’t sit right with me—it feels a bit off. That said, it’s a solid option for those who enjoy a good bourbon cocktail. I started my meal with the El Diablo burger, packed with flavorful ingredients like pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, and chipotle ranch. While the burger itself was excellent, it lacked the expected heat. Thankfully, the insanity sauce on the side added a mild cayenne pepper kick, though not nearly as fiery as the name suggests—it was mild enough that I could drink it. Still, it complemented the burger nicely. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making for a delicious side. Still feeling hungry, I decided to try the M.O.A.B. (Mother of All Burgers). This double-patty creation came stacked with cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and special sauce on a sesame seed bun. I took out the middle bun for a cleaner bite, and it turned out to be an even better decision—the flavors shone through, and it was the perfect balance of a hearty, classic burger. The ambiance of Plan B is warm and inviting, with holiday decorations adding a cheerful touch to the cozy yet lively bar area. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my visit was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Plan B Burger Bar delivered on all fronts—delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. Whether you’re stopping in for a bite after visiting the Hall of Fame or just looking for a solid burger spot, I highly recommend giving it a try. Don’t skip the sweet potato fries—they’re just as memorable as the burgers themselves.
First time at Plan B. I had a garden salad w/salmon,my daughter had a Ceasar salad, grandson had a children's chicken platter w/fries. We had garlic bread on the side and ff's. We had the most amazing drinks. A salted caramel chaitini and a beberry. I highly recommend coming out to Plan B and enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the great service of the great bartender Gabby!!!
I rarely leave reviews but I had to! Jeremy in the bar area was our server and he is the nicest, most attentive server I’ve had in a long time. The blue chip appetizer was delicious and addictive! I got the Cobb salad and it was hands down the best and most fresh salad I’ve ever had. Incredible service and food! 10/10 recommended

The food is delicious. Ordered the shepherds pie and it was culturally correct. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It’s the quintessential pub. When you have nowhere to go, you come here. It’s the right place.
Ok...apparently in 2014 I left a negative review of Nathan Bill Restaurant. Well, I hope to set the record straight. Tonight my husband and I had dinner there on the lovely patio. First, Annalise (I think that was her name) was our waitress and she was very attentive and sweet. We enjoyed a mountain of nachos that was enough for four people. I had a mule and my husband had a summer ale. I had the swordfish scampi and salad that actually had real greens. My husband had fish and chips and the fries were crispy. We were too full for anything more. All in all, we will go back and I highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant.

First time at Max Tavern. We sat in the happy hour “tavern” bar area. Our server, Kyle, was great!! Very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Fast and efficient service. The bartender made a delicious raspberry cosmo and pomegranate margarita. We ordered two tavern burgers, smoked paprika wings, truffle fries, and the salted caramel ice cream sundae. Everything was delicious. Our favorites bites were the truffle fries.
I've been to a number of the Max restaurant locations and have always enjoyed going for a bite to eat. The service and food is usually top notch. I was very excited to go to Max's Tavern for my 2nd time to celebrate a family birthday. My excitement quickly vanished once I get my entree. I ordered the scallops dish for a whopping price of $32, and the scallops served gave me food poisoning. When our tables food arrived, there was an extremely strong scent that was not pleasant. We assumed it was the French onion soup dish due to the cheese. However, the unpleasant scent was from the scallops. I made the mistake of continuing to eat the scallops dish (honestly due to the price of the dish), and within a half hour I had severe stomach cramping and you can use your imagination for the rest. I'm really surprised that the cooks on Sunday night would let the restaurant serve bad scallops just to make profit. I understand it's a business, but I'm completely shocked that Max would allow this. I will definitely not return to this location.
Probably my favorite restaurant in Springfield. The food is consistently good. Service is GREAT. And the bartenders make some awesome drinks. For lunch, the Max Burger is a no brainer. Highly recommend the crab cakes or the tuna tacos for appetizers. Dinner menu is excellent and you can’t really go wrong. My favorite thing? Those darn cheddar biscuits, they are truly fantastic!
