We stopped in on our way through Orange. I highly recommend the brisket dog! Fries were perfect too. Food comes out quick and it’s a nice simple setup. We are already planning to go back for wings and brisket dogs in bulk for a party! Don’t miss this gem. So much better than fast food options.
This place is deceptive. Off the road in a metal building. Walking in the front door, we were greeted by, what we later learned, to be the owner. Our party of 7 was quickly waited on. Three different staff, including the owner served our drinks within 2 minutes of seating. Between all of us we had hot dogs (toasted buns), crinkle (hot) fries, fresh ground beef cheeseburgers, and wings. I wish we could have a higher star rating because only 5 stars are not enough for the quality, speed and warm people.
Great little place tucked away. They have a great menu at fair prices. Tried hotdogs today, will be back to try the scrapple next time

If you do not try this place...thank you, more for me :-) Seriously, what a find!!! We've been venturing out further and further and this was our pick for Labor Day weekend. I wonderful gem tucked in the back of a brick complex with a cozy feel. The atmosphere is unassuming and honestly, I was expecting pretty simple fare but wow, this place did not disappoint. I have to say the ride home (over an hour) was a bit uncomfortable because we had an appetizer (crab cakes) and desert (key lime and chocolate tort) in addition to our main course (filet and salad with chicken). Everything was done to perfection (ordered medium rare, came out perfect) and the flavors were just amazing. I kept trying the wife's salad as it was farm fresh and the chicken was tender and juicy. Great cocktail selection and honestly, I can't think of anything that was not fantastic. The manager checked on us often and was super engaging and helpful. She made us feel right at home and the experience was better for her. I think we met the owner as well who was busy taking care of orders...she was super nice and unassuming as well. This was a great great great late lunch for us and we'll be back. Change nothing, it was all spot on. Thank you!
Wow! I’m so glad that I ate here. I was actually planning to eat somewhere else and they were closed so I walked across parking lot and here I was. The music and ambiance was inviting and warm. All of the wait staff were very kind, attentive and welcoming. I didn’t know how it could get better and than I took a bite of the biscuits. I was a little off put at first because they come square but man was I surprised when I bit in to that soft, flaky and buttery taste of heaven. This was just my side biscuit so imagine how juicy, flavorful and perfectly cooked my steak was. It tasted like they use a wine basting and the flavor was spot on. The potatoes were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the outside finished with a great sauce. My bank is happy I don’t live close by because I would be eating here all the time. Do yourself a flavor and get your tail over here!
Finding Spoon & Spindle was such a great surprise for our Saturday brunch of choice. We were greeted right as we sat down and the service was really amazing. We tried the peaches and cream waffle special and was not disappointed. Our mouths were melting! Our main meal was just as delicious. We were shocked at how stacked our meals were by this delicious buttery corn cake bread. 10/10 will be back again! Just look at this!

I was in Orange for work and since I'm gluten free, dairy free and soy free, I thought I wouldn't be able to get a decent meal for lunch. I spotted this restaurant on my way to a different place, pulled over and looked up the menu. When I went in, I was pleasantly surprised! I had the turkey sandwich on gluten free bread with a house salad and their vinegarette. Since they .are nearly everything in house, they could easily tell me what my options are. Nearly everything is soy free, the gluten free roll was soft and tasty and the turkey was deliciously moist. I'll be back, I'm in this area often but never realized this hidden gem was right across the street from Sheetz. Thanks for a tasty and healthy lunch!
I had the Chicken, Bacon and Fontina sandwich with German Potato Salad and my wife had the Provision Salad with seared chicken breast and both were excellent! I gave them 5 stars because I believe this to be the best chicken sandwich I've ever tasted. The preparation time for our meal was lengthy (hence only 4 stars for service) despite being the only customer there for a late lunch. The staff is very polite though. I would definitely return and highly recommend.
We were visiting from out of town for several days a few weeks ago. Chef Randy was extremely helpful in recommending items along with some great wine. He also was able to accommodate our requests around what we wanted for dinner. He was very generous and the takeout dinners were on point. Burger Saturday is NOT to be missed. Highly recommended.

A spectacular breakfast!! We stopped by on our way through Orange and were so glad we did. My partner said the french toast was the best that he had ever eaten. I got the spicy green omlet which was also incredible. Will definitely be coming beck here!
Not sure what took us so long to try this place! We really enjoyed the food and the whole experience! Our server was great and the food came out quick. The scrapple was cooked just right! We will definitely be back!
Fast service. We got the Tbone steak breakfast combo and country fried steak. The Tbone is sliced thin so heads up. The gravy on the country fried steak is on point. We upgraded our pancakes that came with the combo to red velvet and triple berry. Both were delicious.

Super easy giving 5 stars to My Avocado! We went for the first time today with a large group and everything was delicious. We tried bowls, burritos, smoothies and desserts and couldn't get over how delicious everything was but ALSO the spectacular customer service. Warm hospitality with a smile goes so far. We'll absolutely stop here every time we are in town.
We went here about 2 weeks ago for the first time as out of towners, and let me tell you, I’ve never been so happy to stumble across a restaurant! The food was amazing, the dessert, even better. BUT what puts this place over the top are the amazing owners! They smiled and laughed the whole time, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of at several points and were to good with our little girls, even giving them matching bracelets at the end. It just speaks volumes of how kind and caring this family is ! I thank You guys so much for being a light in the dark, truly !!!
Wow, what an awesome little quick service place. My Avocado is a build it your way Mexican'ish styles eatery. A burrito bowl where you choose between your protein, rice, and topping and the owners are amazing. A husband and wife team that make all of their food fresh each day. I had the leg of lamb for my protein choice and it was really good!! Also the rice and carrots, wonderful!! The staff is SO helpful and just genuinely happy to see you when you come in. The atmosphere is clean and well maintained. I can't say enough great things about this little gold mine.

This is our new favorite find!!! We haven't been back in Orange for many years, but decided to venture out for a late dinner. Found three places in Orange, Virginia and we just picked this one based on the bar photo :-) I know, odd, but we like different. The artichoke spinach dip was the best I've ever add and the warm pita chips were perfect match. Manhattan and Old Fashions were spot on perfect. I had the meatloaf and the misses had the salmon with a carrot cake and cheesecake to boot. Huge mistake to drive the sports car as we were both full like it was Thanksgiving. We were both commenting on our dishes and honestly the second best meatloaf I've ever had (I do make a mean meatloaf). It's got some spice to it but I loved it. The wife was just as happy with her meal. The waitress was wonderful and engaging and kept up with us even when the bar got behind. Fantastic service. We loved the entire evening. Only thing was getting a second drink took a lot longer than expected, but that's just getting picky. It was a Thursday night, patrons coming in after 8pm, so this is good find for us. Great evening, we'll be back!!
Spur of the moment stop through after daughter’s engagement photos earlier. Staff were all on point, food was outstanding with the ⭐️ being the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Mussels were in an oversized bowl and were delicious. All in all a great ending to a great night. 10/10 will definitely RECOMMEND
I’m from Massachusetts, and as a big eater, I’ve tried my fair share of burgers. This place was incredible! I had the tavern burger, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, with flavors that blended beautifully. The layout, seating, and staff were all outstanding. If you haven’t been here and you’re in the area, definitely check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

We always have wonderful experiences here. The food is awesome. I have tried many things on the menu, including this unexpected amazing burger! WOW. One of the best burgers I have had ever! The fries were great too. I also love the queso and salsa. Great job!
While under obvious renovation, the food is absolutely spectacular! Have visited three times so far and have never been disappointed. The Mexican fare is delicious and the chicken tenders with fries, for the kiddos, are fantastic as well. In fact, the fries are the best I've had. The sweet tea was pretty good as well. Great job! Can't wait to see how the renovations turn out!
Efrain and his team did a phenomenal job catering our 4-13-2024 wedding. As a bride, the day leading up to a wedding come with its own level of stress and I want to highlight something in particular that shows La Naranja’s commitment to excellence. Little did I know, the roof of the establishment had been blown off in some severe weather the night before our rehearsal (aka 2 days before the wedding). Efrain worked directly with our venue to plan and implement a work around since they were unable to cook at the restaurant as they were accustom to. I did not find out about this until after we said “I do” and the team executed flawlessly despite such a set back. The food was incredible! The jalapeño poppers are still being talked about by our guests and the shrimp was absolutely delicious! 10/10! Thank you for making our day so special!

The Food is A+!!!! We got three different pasta dishes and EACH was SUPER!!!!! My granddaughters are a bit picky over their pasta, BUT when they tasted their dishes, they said Grandma You HAVE TO WRITE A REVIEW!!!! The owner and the waitress were most kind, helpful and understanding. We sat inside and waited ~ very pleasant! We Will Return!!! 10 out of 10!!!!’ My son got a hamburger and Enjoyed it as well!!
Take out pizza order for 2 large 2 topping pizzas. Ordered online with no problem. Order was ready in time and was processed by friendly and efficient staff. Pizza was decent. Not impressive. Jalapeños and pepperoni for one pizza and the other was sausage and onions. We may return. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. Especially nice at this time of the year.
The best place around for a good salad! This was out 3rd time eating here first and second time I had the steak and cheese sub and the hubs had the baked ziti! Both meals were awesome! The salad was the best though!! Will for sure keep coming here!

Super underrated place, best Asian food in town! Honestly, we were very surprised at how good the food was and how MUCH there was given the price! Nobody could finish their food! They gave it out in take out containers so we could take it home, but there’s an option for glasses and plates too, but you’re gonna need the container because for like 8-12$ per person you get enough extremely tasty food to last the next 2 meals too! Best option on the menu in my opinion: Pu Pu Tray, that’s some crazy good stuff, and it’s just an appetizer! We’re gonna come here again for sure, also the waiter was so friendly and nice, everyone there is! Plenty of seating available and they accommodate large parties
For a place in Orange Va, I’m impressed. A hole in the wall, but worth it! I’m a Chinese food snob admittedly. I actually got pancakes with my moo sho pork, even plumb sauce! Teriyaki steak skewers were outstanding. Like I remember. Egg rolls were very crispy and delicious. Not much restaurant atmosphere but worth the take out. Chow mien was delicious. I hope for their success. I will order egg foo young next time. A true evaluation of a quality Chinese restaurant.
My fiancé and I have gotten food from Happy Garden a handful of times and have never been disappointed. Good amount of food and punctual with service. The staff is also pleasently friendly too. Not to forget that the food itself is top tier from other surrounding Chinese Restaurants. When I want Chinese, Happy Garden truly is the spot to go to. Thank you all for what you do and making my family and I Happy and full.

I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Risotto. The presentation was excellent as well as the creamy sauce but I was somewhat disappointed there wasn't much Risotto. It was almost more like a soup. Unfortunately I couldn't give the restaurant a higher rating, especially after having a disagreement with the manager. We walked in around 6:30pm and we were seated in the dining room. I noticed a "happy hour" drink special that ended at 7pm. I specifically asked the young lady filling our water glasses (who I thought was our waitress) if I can order the happy hour drinks in the dining room and she said "yes, absolutely!" She relayed my drink order to my waitress. When I got the bill I noticed it was full price. I asked my waitress and she wasn't sure why it came up full price, so she went to see the manager. The manager explained that the happy hour specials only are for the bar side of the restaurant and would not adjust the bill. We explained that we asked before ordering and were told that we can order those drink specials and the menu placard did not say "bar area only". The manager shutdown the disagreement by using the "I may be rude and unaccomodating, but I'm from New York" excuse.
I wasn’t going to review at first but I love that there’s a nice restaurant in Orange, and hope that they may learn something from feedback. We had a reservation for 3 and they seated us right away. Then we discussed cocktails with our server and I let her know that I preferred that my drink is not sweet. Well, it was sweet but I didn’t say anything until she asked how it was. I said it was a bit too sweet and so she asked if I wanted a replacement and I agreed. First we had the artichoke spinach dip which was delicious. The fried oysters were okay, not the best. The fried olives were a novelty. For our mains, I ordered the shrimp and risotto and was disappointed that it was a mere 4 shrimps over maybe 2 tablespoons of risotto and swimming in cream and butter. My mother ordered crab bisque which she said was good and a spinach salad. Her salad was a huge amount of baby spinach filling a dinner plate and little else. She’s 97 years old and not very discerning when it comes to food, but kept asking as she moved her fork through a mound of baby spinach “where’s the other stuff that was described?” Finally, my wife ordered pasta with bolognese sauce. Okay, great that was a fresh pasta but it was rather tasteless, pulled beef with no noticeable Italian herbs or tomato sauce. It was absolutely the worst I’ve ever had (and I’ve been around!). We definitely ordered more than we needed for 3 people but wanted a good sample. When we received our bill, I was charged for both drinks. We brought it to our server’s attention and she then corrected the bill. I think it’s important that in a situation like that a server knows the importance of not charging for 2 drinks and instead saying “I’ve only charged you for that less sweet cocktail.” That kind of service is remarkable. So, all in all, we were all disappointed and hope that the restaurant makes some improvements because staff was pleasant and the space is charming and we would like to take another drive to Orange for dinner some day.
My wife ate here several years ago when we were staying at the nearby bed and breakfast. It was excellent then, so we decided to give it another try when we were passing through recently. However, we were surprised to see it remodeled and open under a new name. However, new name aside, it was still a cozy and charming place to eat. The prices are on the high side, but the delicious plates are worth it. My seared salmon over risotto was superb. The service was friendly and attentive, too. Be sure to check this place out on your next visit to Orange.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Hands down best customer service we've had anywhere. The food was delicious, the prices were phenomenal, the staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean. My husband and I got the grande nachos for two to split and we were stuffed. My daughter got the taco salad lunch special and we definitely weren't expecting so much food for a lunch portion. We'll definitely be back!
I wish our El Vaquero was as good as this one in Orange. The Locust Grove one is horrible. You can't even get them to acknowledge you. I had to walk out and go to Taco Bell. This restaurant is excellent. We were seated immediately and our server was there quickly and took our drink order. He was very courteous and gave us great service,! The food was excellent. Highly recommend
Good dine in experience. Staff were friendly and moved swiftly to accommodate needs. For was standard, drinks were good. I would recommend stopping at this location solely based on management. It was good to have the manager come over and greet your table and ensure your experience was pleasurable. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Recommendation: Nachos Enchiladas Supreme

Yea, not going back... had just gotten off, was hungry tried this place and got this... the. The chicken tasted like the burn ends of the grill.
The food is really good. It came out fast and hot. My server was nice and attentive. I liked the salad bar and ice-cream bar are included with the lunch meal.

A Ten Out Of Ten! The Food was really good! Can’t remember the young ladies name that waited on us but she was so sweet and accommodating! I got the pork chops with gravy Mac and cheese corn pudding! My husband got chicken livers with onions, cream potatoes collards greens! Ice tea. Looking forward to coming back!
I am the Virginia chapter lead of a national organization. While planning a meeting in Orange, VA, the venue manager recommended Coopers as a possible caterer. My wife and I had dinner there to check it out. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the professionalism of the owner, Denise, so I arranged for her to cater my meeting a couple months later. Having grown up on Delmarva, home of the broiler chicken industry and amazing fried chicken, I have to say that Coopers' fried chicken is as good as any I've had - it is her mother's recipe! The flavor of the pork BBQ is superb. The coleslaw is my wife's new favorite. For our meeting, Coopers knocked it out of the park and I received several compliments about the lunch. In fact, a former chapter lead wrote "this was the best lunch the chapter has ever had!" Denise's coordination throughout was PERFECT. We coordinated everything by text so we had it all in writing for reference. She was both proactive AND always responded to me within a few minutes. The entire experience could not have been better.
First time dining and will definitely be back! Great food and friendly staff! We had the catfish, wing dings and boy was the coleslaw amazing! If you haven’t tried them, you should!

Stopped there for the first time. We were passing through Orange and turned around to try the food. I got the frogs legs, greens and cornbread. All I can say is that I am so glad I turned around. It was delicious! I had always wanted to try frogs legs and I was not disappointed. They were amazing! If you live in the area or are passing through.... You must stop and try the food! The lovely people who cooked and served my food are so friendly.
Got some food from the soul food bus at Hyperfest 2024, where they were catering. I will start by saying that the lady who took the order was friendly and gave good customer service. However, we waited in line for over an hour. Waffles and chicken sounded good. The longer it took, the more anticipation there was. Sadly, the ‘fried’ chicken looked/tasted nothing like your typical fried chicken. No breading. It literally was a few bare chicken strips that had been dunked in a fryer. The waffle was super thick, and the dough/batter had almost no taste. It was very disappointing after paying $17 and waiting almost 90 mins total. Literally, an Eggo waffle and Walmart fried chicken would have tasted far better. Hate to be harsh for people who are just trying to make a living. But that’s the truth.
Chicken Livers are delicious and Frog Legs are GOOD. I would definitely recommend Barbara's for GOOD decent food. It is better than the other Chicken place in the Town of Orange.

This was my first visit. Great place to sit and eat with friends and family. Open kitchen concept. Great service, great food. There's plenty to see after dinner talking a walk.

Great service. Giant portions. An amazing happy hour. What’s not to like. I really enjoyed the hard cider on tap along with the nachos and wings. You have to try the cotton candy tower. It’s comical but amazing (for the experience, definitely not for your health). The music was also great and they were showing through music videos.
Saddle Ranch is a beautifully decorated Texas-style restaurant – very stylish and has a great vibe. It’s not too noisy, and the music is just right, which makes for a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and service was on point. The big downside, though, was the steak. It was tough and lacked juiciness, which was disappointing for a place that looks like it specializes in this. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.
The ribs here fall off the bone if you like them like that. The monster platter was a deal, a must order if your rolling deep. The prime rib was good too.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is an absolute gem, offering a combination of beautiful indoor and outdoor seating that is perfect for both humans and their furry companions. The dog-friendly atmosphere is a big plus, and it’s easy to see why it stands out. The food selection is top-notch, with a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes, from wings and burgers to BBQ meatloaf and quiche. The fried chicken sandwiches are a highlight, but the real star is the fried chicken rice appetizer—an undeniable 10/10. The drink menu is vast, complementing the meals perfectly. Along with friendly service and ample parking, this place delivers a great dining experience from start to finish.
I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Wok which was okay but I think the tofu would have been better if it wasn't fried. And the flavor was okay. I wish there were more Pasta items on the menu but there were only two or three pasta items which is very little. I probably would come back but not often especially for the quality you get for the price.
Sat outside and had great service. They have a great lunch special. The salad that is part of the lunch special was huge. Lazy dog makes the best grilled cheese. It has a Parmesan crust. I highly recommend. It is my favorite place to visit when I am in town.
Market Broiler Orange is a premier dining establishment located in the heart of Orange, California, dedicated to providing guests with a unique culinary experience that celebrat…
I have been coming here to eat for probably 15 years now and overall the quality has been consistent. I only qualm is that the last time I went here a couple weeks ago they change the menu and I believe they are trying to elevate their menu a bit but it's overkill. We tried the whipped burrata dish and it was not that great. Also for the price I was a little disappointed how small it was. There were three of us at our table and between the three of us we did not bother finishing it. Everything else was delicious though
My wife and I stopped by this Market Broiler inside Outlet at Orange randomly. When we got to the outlet, my wife had to use the bathroom and I forgot where it was. So we walked into the closet place next to us which was Market Broiler and they had a bathroom so I decided to just get a quick bite here. We got seated quick since they weren't that busy. We just wanted a quick snack so I looked at their menu and saw the clam chowder which is my wife favorite so I ordered that. They brought out the sourdough bread first which I thought was the clam chowder so I told them they were quick until I saw it was just the bread. The clam chowder came afterwards and we both thought it was pretty good. The service was great and we had a good time here.
Not a great experience. Food was bland and overcooked. Calamari starter was 99% batter and dry. Coconut shrimp were ok but nothing different than what you would get in a frozen food aisle. Jambalaya had a bitter taste and the meat and fish were over cooked, it had no depth of flavor. Crab cake sliders were equally poor. Would not recommend.

Went here for a birthday and was promptly seated. However, table was wobbly and we asked to moved. Got seated again and then was asked to another table because that table was for a larger group. Food was good but was slightly on the salty side. Mentioned to hostess and waitress we were celebrating a birthday and we saw other tables with birthday candles. We ordered dessert expecting one as well which I thought wouldn’t be a problem. Was just given our dessert and here’s the check. Kind of expected more from a high end restaurant.
I came to location to celebrate my auntie’s 70th birthday and we had such a good time. Our server was so pleasant. He provided us with a lot of laughs and good food. We both ordered brunch and everything tasted good! I also enjoyed the bottomless mimosa!
My family and I came here for brunch today. We made reservations ahead of time and asked for outside siding because the day would be nice. We were celebrating a birthday so we wanted a view. When we arrived here, it was valet only so be aware. The front of this restaurant before you walk inside is very nice with a pond of fishes and a little waterfall. There also a nice sitting area to sit outside while you wait to be seated. They couldn't give us outside seating so we had to sit inside for a party of 9 people. For our entree we went with 2 brunch platter for 2 which comes with classic egg Benedict, herb roasted prime rib, Alaskan crab legs, Belgian waffle, apple smoked bacon, chicken apple sausage and roasted potatoes. On the second order they were able to accommodate with mashed potatoes instead which was appreciated. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and my wife got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The food took a while to come out but I think it cause the platter for 2 entree is a big meal especially for the price. You will get full from the platter and it can likely feed more than 3 people. The platter was the crowd favorite and you'll be tired afterwards. I thought the chicken sandwich was good but did not like the fries. My wife enjoyed her Caesars salad. I got a coke for drink and I made sure to double check that it's free refills here which it is. The view if you sit outside on a nice day is beautiful and you can also walk outside to take pictures if you're dining inside. The staff and our waitress was polite with us but I know they were kind of annoyed at the person who requested outdoor seating didn't get it because I overheard them talking when I got out of the bathroom. The bar is very nice and the bartenders were amazing, they give me free water when I was thirsty and couldn't flag down someone. The valet takes credit card as payment but they will charge a fee so be aware. I would gladly come back here during dinner because I believe the view would be more spectacular along with the entree choices as well.

Delicious fresh tasting food! Vegetarian and gluten free options. The pasta was so good and flavorful! Cornbread so fluffy. Loved the beet salad!! Drinks were yummy and creative. Staff very kind and helpful. Great atmosphere.
Excellent food, had a good variety of dishes, had the Burger and it was exceptional it was a CRAFT burger , the hand made Salmon pasta was also on point with a spicy pesto. The beer selection is superior to most restaurants, The New Zealand is almost buttery with texture and brimmed with flavour. The rice beer was perfect for a thirst quencher, and the pilsner followed perfectly.
Great food and cocktails. Breakfast and brunch menu are a bit slim, but other than that, it was really good. The service was excellent! We enjoyed the Chorizo Hash and the burger with an egg on top. Don't miss out on the freshly made doughnuts. They were excellent!
