This place is quite the quaint experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s a nice spot, very relaxed. Starting with the basics, the biscuit is very good. They’re big, tender, and fluffy. They hold up to the dishes, but are still light in a way. I had The Cure: biscuit, sausage gravy, Tillamook cheddar, fried chicken, and a poached egg. A nice balance, though the breading likes to slip off the chicken once it starts to absorb the gravy a bit. My wife had the Bless Your Heart. It was the biscuit, Nashville hot chicken, pickles, and mac & cheese. The chicken is a little spicy and peppery, but still maintains a good flavor. There is a lot of mac & cheese. The pickles are a nice balance and quite vinegary. Staff was friendly and attentive. I’m curious about the cocktails, but it was too early the day we went for breakfast.
