We were trying to find another cool place close to home but this ain’t it… Haven’t tried food here but I’m here rn and the bartender has been gone for 30 minutes. Drinks are over priced and u can’t even taste the liquor (Example) green tea shot was $8 I’ve been to 3 other places and they were $5 but whatever, first and last time coming here.
I like that it's open early. I work 3rd shift and it's nice to have a place to stop after work. Bartenders are nice and so is the owner. Beer prices are good.
We have been coming here for years and have been increasing our group size each year. No longer! The horror stories from the bartenders about the owner are crazy! Last week was the 2nd time we were told by a bartender that the owner observed them not charging us correctly. Once was .25 not enough for a long island and last night the bartender came up to me to let me know 2 weeks ago the owner saw he undercharged us 18.00 on our last bill. We go there all the time and in some cases tip 50% (or more) because the bartenders are actually pretty awesome. We have been told several times by the bartenders how grateful they are when we visit. (Most of us are in the industry). Last night after several hours and about 300.00 later (among the 6 of us), plus gambling and juke box, this ended up being our last visit! What a way to crash my 1 year anniversary party! The crazy lady is watching the cameras, micromanaging and does not appreciate the customers she actually has left. Ungrateful! Our group of 6-10 are done with this place!

The food was delicious and we look forward to coming back and eating it again. We had the fish with garlic and ceviche. Highly recommended.
I am giving 2 stars because even though the staff was very friendly and welcoming my burrito, let me put it like this: Ive never been still hungry after eating a burrito in my life before their burrito. It was 5O% tortilla and the meat had no flavor. I also would appreciate if I was made aware of the CC fee because I had cash. To end it on a high note, both sauces tasted pretty good and fresh.
VERY VERY disappointed and most likely not returning! You are charged a percentage for paying with card and you automatically get charged 18% tip. So whether your service was great or not or your food wasn't great, you're automatically paying that tip! It's ridiculous and overpriced! My chapuzon dish was so limey and the shrimp over cooked and rubbery! Michelada was mostly salty water. Very disappointed. Wish I could get my $100 back!
Issa’s Venezuelan Food is a vibrant culinary establishment dedicated to bringing the rich flavors and cultural heritage of Venezuela to the local community. Our mission is…
Food was good. It would be nice if they had better descriptions of the food. The chachapa was on the sweet side and the pepitos was full of meat and flavors. I do feel as though it is a bit overpriced, it was $50 for 3 things and one of them was an empanada.
First time eating Venezuelan food & it did not disappoint. The restaurant is very small and very busy. If you bring a large party like we did (11 people) you will definitely have a longer wait, but the food is definitely worth the wait! Will definitely be back, if you are looking for what the food looks like, check out the restaurant’s instagram!
This was an amazing meal the empanada was huge, I only got the cheese empanadas and they did not disappoint, made to order, this thing was literally stuffed with cheese, of you like cheese you're gonna love these they came out super hot and cam with with two, what tasted like avocado ranch sauces, it was so big I could only eat one, the place is tucked right in the corner of a mini mall and was packed (its a Friday) fantastic food, make sure you give them a try
Neehee’s Hanover Park is a vibrant and inviting establishment located in Hanover Park, Illinois, dedicated to delivering an exceptional culinary experience that celebrates…
We have been visiting Neehee’s for past 2 years and absolutely love everything. Today we tried Chaat platter and it was delicious. We also love their Indian style Ice-creams. Best part is it’s a pure vegetarian place and brings back lot of memories of India.
Vegetarian Indian food in a clean, functional setting. The chaat platter is a good way to sample their wares. I liked several of the items on the platter but a couple of items tasted too similar. A little more variety in the platter would be great. The pakodas were crisp and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend! My one quibble is that the prices, e.g., for chai, were higher than similar restaurants in busier parts of Chicago.
The presentation of the food was excellent, but the taste was not up to mark. Sambar tasted like regular dal and the chutney didn't have any taste at all. It was our first time and we're very disappointed.

Was at the fine establishment tonight for dinner. I can not believe this place has been here for 2 years and this was my first visit. We will definitely be going back. The service was great, very surprised at how big it is, it also has a nice size bar to sit at. We ordered the crab Rangoon, which was different, it was sweet, not a whole Lotta crab, but good. Ordered the crispy wings, let me tell you the flavor in these are absolutely fantastic. The spices they used on them is so good. Also ordered the Pork Miso, that also was fantastic. Also ordered a side of steak which was good as well. All in all this is a great little hidden gem, if you get a chance go visit.
Tasty Japanese spot in the rural neighborhood of Schaumburg, Illinois. The service was super nice. It seemed like there was mainly one girl manning the front so shoutout to her. There was a self service kiosk and we went ahead and used that to make our lives and hopefully the staffs lives easier. I wish there was a way to alter items in the kiosk though. I wanted to get a drink but without boba however it wouldn’t allow me to click confirm without choosing a boba option. We got karaage as an appetizer. It was super hot and fresh but it didn’t quite remind me of karaage as the batter seemed different. Still good though! And I also got a chicken katsu over rice. The chicken was crispy and pretty tender. I wasn’t a fan of the yellow sauce on top (I think some sort of mayo based sauce) and the quantity of rice was way too much. I mean I love rice, but I thought it was a waste as I didn’t finish. However I did enjoy my meal and I thought the service brought the meal together full circle.
the place is nice the price is just right, ordered grill entrée, shrimp steak combo only $17.95 and the ramen is less than $15 with three pieces of cha-shu not exactly sure if this is self-services or have a waitress since they do have a machine for self-ordering but there were only 3 tables when we were there so we were seated and served by a wait staff not exactly taste what we are looking for, the grill dish and the ramen is very average at best lol the steak is too well done, actually very hard to bite, I will say that the shrimp was surprising big but didn’t taste good lol we wont be back

We had a good dinner and really liked this place. Our server was attentive and had set up a cute bday table, since we were celebrating a bday. Service was great ! Also had German music playing in the background, which was nice. Atmosphere , well it is a strip mall restaurant and was a extremely hot day. Given that the place was still clean , comfortable and organized. Food was good. Some really good and some decent but not great. Loved our soups and salad. The German salad and dressing was spot on. The cream of chicken soup was delish. Recommend the sausage platter and the roasted potatoes as a side. Potatoes can use some salt but that is easily added. These were our starters Our mains were good and large portions sizes. Certainly value for the money. The fav was the spaetzle with goulash over. The schnitzels were excellent but the sauce was off.wgich took it down overall. You can get a side of Knoedel or balls of stuffing and that was good , however the gravy took away from its flavor. Beer is served in steins and was awesome! Loved them but they ran out of the radler which was our favorite. We got complimentary cakes for our bday and appreciated that. All in all we enjoyed the place and most good with a few caveats. Worth checking out if you like German food.
A hidden gem in an unassuming strip mall. This is a cute little place with German food and German-themed decor. Parking is easy and there is a small outdoor dining area. My teenage son and I visited for dinner on a weeknight. The service was very attentive. The menu is pretty extensive and has many traditional German options as well as common American dishes. There were several vegetarian options including cheese spätzle, a veggie burger, breaded eggplant, and a grilled cheese sandwich. There is also a children's menu. I had the Cheesy Spätzle and my son had the Jägerschnitzel. The portions were generous and the flavor was good. Everything was very enjoyable. It would have been a bonus to have a hearty dark bread with the Spätzle instead of white bread but that's just nitpicking as everything was great. They have German soda and beer available as well as common fountain drinks. All of their desserts are made on site. I had the Bienenstich (Bee Sting) cake which was made with honey, almonds, and vanilla cream and my son had a mini banana cream pie. Both were delicious. We had a chance to speak briefly with one of the owners who was very personable and friendly. We learned that his wife/partner is from Germany and does both cooking and baking for the restaurant. If you enjoy German food and want to support a local, family-owned small business, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely be back!
Probably my favourite German restaurant in Chicago. A hidden gem with all homemade food. From the bread, to the Schnitzel to the Schwarzwälder Kirsch cake - all made right there. Super friendly staff and great prices. Definitely the place to go if you love German food. Favourite item on the menu: Liver Dumpling Soup!

Best seafood spot in Hanover Park a hidden gem. This spot has great service delicious food and the prices are very reasonable compared to other seafood spots definitely less expensive. Fanny is a great server and the owners always make sure you leave with a smile on your face whatever you don’t like they always try fixing ! once you go for the first time you’ll never go anywhere else. My absolute favorite dish is the Langostinos. I’ve had a little bit of everything on their menu and one thing I can say is everything taste really good their pasta taste even better than Olive Garden pasta !!
Scammers!!!! Beware!!!!! Went in on a Saturday night was not even that full should’ve been a red flag right there and then but we ordered the oistiones especiales that says it comes with shrimp and octopus for a dozen for $27.99 but when we got the bill it says $27.99+14 ! When we questioned it the waitress was saying that’s just how they bill it and saying the extra $14 was because of the way they prepare it with the shrimp and octopus but as you can see by the picture I provided their we're no octopus on it ! Also when I pointed it out she said oh yeah your right but still was arguing about the price and saying it is what it is basically and saying we’re not the first people to complain? So rude and no customer service skills and robbing people! When we got home we realized they scammed us on the drinks as well. I ordered a Mai Tai that was on the menu priced at $12.99 and they charged $20 ! The picture of the Coptel is also just a visual of how they prepare it don’t even know what the big chunks of white meat are. All in all don’t come here ! Worst experience ever! Reply to the owner’s reply: Well I never said I went THIS Saturday and yes we went about a month ago and that’s how much of a sour taste our interaction has on us that we did feel obligated to write a review to warn other people. I’m not the only one since I saw similar reviews on Yelp but updating and being transparent on all charges should definitely be on the Menu and be updated considering this issue keeps happening as you said to us- and it should be no argument, the price of the menu should be what is being charged. I did not get the premium, but like I said we didn’t notice the price of the Mai Tai until I got home but an observation from me to you as well maybe you should listen and read correctly..I would’ve uploaded the receipt but as it being a month ago we couldn’t find it, but thanks for your condencending and like last time not helpful reply.
Our waitress was fantastic. We were a bit surprised to see that the menu had mostly fish items. No tacos or burritos, which is what we were looking for. So, we ordered the steak fajita. It was very good.
Sweet Basil Cafe of Hanover Park is a charming dining establishment that specializes in providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests seeking delicious and wholesome meals…
The wife and I stopped by tonight and enjoyed, fried pickles, salad, and the BLT club. The portion sizes were big, and the overall visit was a good value. The service was polite and very fast. We enjoyed our experience, highly recommended. Update, we went in for breakfast and enjoyed great service, food and atmosphere! We are turning into regulars here and plan to be back in the near future. New update, wife and two friends went to have lunch today. Everything was excellent, including the service! Five stars from us!
We love eating at Sweet Basil. The food is always fresh and plentiful. The wait staff are always friendly and informative. The restaurant is always clean. The food portions are enough for 2 to eat.
Our first time Dining at Sweet Basil's and it did not disappoint. It was a Sunday morning and not knowing if there would be a wait time we called and they reserved a table for the 5 of us. The food was amazing and the portions were extremely large. We all had leftovers for the next day. The pancakes that come as a side with many dishes were enormous. We were celebrating a birthday and they sang happy birthday and gave us banana fosters, what a pleasant surprise. We recommend giving them a try.

on Tuesday 7/23/2024, I was eating my Mostaccioli al forno from Rosati's pizza in Hanover Park IL on County Farm Road when in the last scoop I bit into something glass like so i immediately spit out this foreign object only to find out that this was an ADULT MOLAR......absolutely mortified I spit out the rest of my pasta went to the bathroom to wash out my mouth with hot water then continued to check on my teeth to see if it was mine. I was horrified to learn that indeed it WAS NOT MY TOOTH. I called the this restaurant and talked to the manager stating I was going to head over asap and wrapped up my plate and sped over. the manager Miguel offered me THIRTY dollars for finding a tooth in my pasta. I was astonished that this manager thought 30 would've settled this traumatizing event. He wanted to call his boss and the boss said only to refund for the pasta nothing else. It was 55.50 with tax and the manager was only going to give me 50 but I said add the tax since is the only thing you’re giving me. He also said it wasn’t from the kitchen it was from the distribution Greco and Sons in Bartlett. Then proceeded to tell me they get the ingredients and he said they only put the pasta and sauce together and put it in the warmer so the tooth from from Greco. This is the craziest thing ever happening to me- I will never eat the same way after finding this tooth and I will never stop sharing and showing people this tooth I found in my pasta.
I placed an order on the anniversary deal day. The online app was very easy to use. The employees at the restaurant were so friendly even with such a hectic day. I was late to pick up my order and the girl on the phone was really kind when I called. When I went in to pick it up. There were a lot of people inside but the workers were calm and friendly. And my pizza was delicious! I will definitely be visiting this location from now on.
Ordered a pizza but unfortunately it was missing 2 of the additional toppings we asked for. The manager wanted us to return to the store for a replacement but by then us and our guests were already eating. Steve offered to provide me a free pizza with the same ingredients next time. BTW-we have ordered MANY pizzas for a local business for a lunch party as well as for ourselves and Rosatis on County Farm Rd. never disappoints. I know it was a good but they'll make it right I know.

The food here is absolutely incredible! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and the presentation was perfect. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a great meal. Highly recommend the tacos and margaritas—best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back!
Loved the place and food !! I came in for lunch buffet and it was beyond my expectations. The owner is such a friendly guy makes you feel very welcomed ! I will deff be coming back
Now lemme tell you, I am a fine reviewer and leave honest reviews but wow. This place was fabulous from the gourmet Mexican to how cheap it is for this type of food to the amazing service and how kind and friendly it all was. Inside was also so nice but wow service was great too. Honestly should be more than 4.8, should be even more than a 5 star. Place was spectacular I will be going again!! Server also let me try all the salsas and was having fun with it! Great guy and I loved that he let me try them all. Also it’s not just him who’s great it’s everyone there and honestly there’s nothing wrong with this place!! ITS A MUST GO!
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain that specializes in flavorful, Louisiana-style fried chicken and seafood. Founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Loui…
Popeyes at the Hangover Park location delivers pretty much what you’d expect—a solid chicken experience. The food was decent; not extraordinary, but consistent with Popeyes’ usual quality. It’s the kind of flavor profile you expect when you’re in the mood for fried chicken, satisfying without any major surprises. On the day I visited, the restaurant was quite busy, with a steady stream of customers coming in and out, many ordering large quantities, likely for gatherings or events. This location does offer catering, and I noticed that when they’re handling big orders, it can create a bit of a delay for those waiting on individual meals. The wait wasn’t unreasonable, but it’s worth noting that if you’re visiting during peak times or when catering orders are in full swing, a little patience may be required. One minor observation was about the way customers wait. Some people tend to stand in the middle area rather than forming a more orderly line, which can make the space feel a bit crowded or disorganized at times. While this is more about customer behavior than the restaurant itself, it does impact the experience slightly. Overall, this Popeyes location provides exactly what you’d anticipate. If you’re looking for decent fried chicken and don’t mind a little bustle, it’s a reliable choice.
I just have two questions: 1. Why do you ask me what dipping sauce i want for my tenders if you arent going to put it in my bag? 2. How am i supposed to eat mashed potatoes without utensils? These are the very basics of food service …….
If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. I ordered drive thru service. I placed my order at 7:28pmCST. I received it and took it home to eat. Once I was almost done with my food, I pulled a long blonde hair out of the mashed potatoes after taking a bite... I clearly don't have blond hair and no one in my family does. I then went into the store to speak with the manager about my order, showing pictures and videos of my food when I found it. And the employees there just looked at me like it’s a normal occurrence, and thought I was trying to get more food. When I found the hair I gagged, and stopped eating. There was also a black hair in the gravy. I took the picture right down at my plate where I pulled it out of my mouth, I also took a video. As I was speaking to the "manager" about my problem, they said I would have to bring the nearly finished food pretty much back to the store??? All I wanted was my refund, and even more to just see for myself how to handle the situation. *EDIT* Noticing now in the picture I took, the chicken is also NOT FULLY COOKED!!!!! This place will literally get you sick, don’t listen to the 3 year old 4 star reviews. I also contacted customer service and had a case in review. I am NEVER eating at this store or any other Popeyes ever again if this is how food and safety regulations are being followed. I use to work at Panda express and know all the regulations. These employees could care less of how the food is being prepared for customers to receive it. I also noticed going inside the store the second time to discuss my order, all of the female employees had NO HAIRNET. Surprise?! NO! At this point there would be plenty of other people to work here and follow the guidelines of health and safety. I'm disgusted with my order and the quality of it as well. This store always finds a way to mess up your order. The tenders were not fresh and could obviously tell they were sitting out for too long. After talking to the not so helpful staff and manager, I left without a refund, and i wasn’t gonna come back with my near empty food. Honestly I don't even care about the refund, I just want to inform and care about health and safety in a restaurant environment. The most disgusting part is that I had pretty much almost finished my meal until I found out That meal was my only dinner tonight, so I was hungry and ate fast, I hate to have found out that’s how my order is being prepared and for the staff to have no care or even sympathize. No one should receive food that’s prepared in a kitchen with hair in it. Disgusting. I didn’t even cause a scene even though I wanted to so bad and yell, but i kept my cool. Told the other customers too because they overheard, the other lady in there could vouch for me, she saw all of them had no hairnets on too, but maybe she still got food because that was her only dinner for tonight too. Where’s the decency. I hope they all get fired/ replaced. I’m waiting to speak with a representative soon.

Terrible experience. I decided to give it a try since it just got remodeled. I ordered a fiery wrap with fries and a blue raspberry freeze I was upset when I realized I got a cherry? Flavor instead and it wasn’t even properly filled, but didn’t care much. What really did it for me was when I opened my bag and realized there was no wrap but instead a sandwich! I open the sandwich and there’s plastic in there! And the chicken looked terrible! I am glad I checked it before taking a bite never again will I go back!!!
I loved Burger King in the past . it actually tastes good. It's been at least a decade since I last visited. The drive thru was busy they were short on staff. My order was cold and so was my sisters. It went down easy I guess but boy oh boy when I tell you we all got food poisoning. It was literally hell on earth. What is going on with corporate fast food stores?
I LOVE BURGER KING SINCE I WAS A KID AND THE FOOD IS MY FAVORITE I LOVE THEIR APP THEY ALWAYS GIVE FREE FOOD. THE DELIVERY SERVICE IS VERY HELPFUL AND VERY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. GOD BLESS ALL THE BURGER KING STAFF.

They recently remodeled and the place looks great! They give you chips and salsa when you sit down. Try their quesobirria, caldos, and tacos. Horchata is exactly how you want it, not to sweet and not too watery. The waitress are attentive and quick with serving your order. The best local spot for all your Mexican cravings.
My husband and I came for my birthday and to visit family. He got chicken enchiladas with green sauce and I got the chicken flautas and a pastor sopa. Didn't get a picture of sopa. Shell seemed like it was fried or baked as it had a little crunch behind it. It was filled beautifully and had amazing flavor. Flautas were crispy and fresh. Husband says each bite of enchiladas was better than the last. Rice was cooked perfectly. Flavor and service was on point from beginning to end.
I am impressed with the cleanliness of this restaurant, including the restrooms. It seems like it's been recently remodeled and redecorated with an authentic Mexican flare. The service is quick and the servers are extremely friendly and efficient with the delivery of the meals. But the food is what shines here. The seasonings on the steak burrito is outstanding and their quesadillas are just delicious and flavorful. The dishes are very affordable and the quantity of food on the plates is a lot. The area boasts of many Mexican style restaurants, but this one takes the crown by far.

This Mexican restaurant has the best tasting food and best prices for it too. I've finally tried everything and it's all great. The owners are there managing and helping around. When you come inside they greet you like family, very warm and friendly
Complimentary chips and salsa for dine in. Extra servings of chips cost money. Usually a busy place with lots of customers. Getting seated and placing your order during meal times takes about 10-15 minutes. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. There are plenty of televisions. I ordered the taco platter and kiddie quesadilla meal and they were delicious. The agua frescas were refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised that I could sample the drinks before making an order. For the most part, the menu is reasonably priced. If deciding between a la carte vs platter, order the meal. It's a better value and more filling. Update: Went back for quesabirria and it is deliciously heavy. There is only one option, which includes three three birria tacos layered with cheese. The tortillas themselves seem to be dipped in consomme and fried. The meal comes with a small cup of consomme for dipping. The meal is very filling, but it would be nice to have some veggies on the side.
Great food, great service! My favorite to go to enjoy some great Mexican food! Tacos, burritos are delicious here they don't skimp on the food too. Chips and salsa if you dine in too. Definitely check them out if your in the area.

It's been 10 years since we last eat at Brandy's. Well, those 10 years were worth it because the food was fresh and delicious.
Great spot. Delicious food. Really good service. I got two hotdogs which were perfect. It had warm steamed buns, and the toppings were really fresh. I had an order of onion rings which were perfectly done as well. They had a really nice crunch and they were not too oily. I'm really happy about this place being so close and I look forward to my next visit.
Brandy's is insane. I have yet to have a bad meal here. We got the Greek plate and it was enough food for 3-4 people. The chicken was juicy and the gyro meat was really good. And so good. I have also gotten the Al Pastor taco plate and its actually really good.
