Hit or miss I read later in another review and that is spot on. Ours was definitely a miss. Met by very nice girls, and immediately seated. The waitress, Ashley Twitty (she gave me her whole name), was prompt and did an amazing job keeping up with drinks. She was friendly and knowledgeable. And that’s where the good ended….mostly. She brought rolls but they were solid and not Logans yeast rolls. Not a big deal but weird. The food came next. The kids got burgers (medium well), fries and a side of their new coconut shrimp. I ordered the salmon with shrimp (has small amount of mashed potatoes and a cream spinach sauce). The shrimp were fishy, not bad but not good. They were tough. They were warm. The spinach sauce cold. The salmon overcooked and extremely hot (enough to burn your mouth), and the potatoes were cold. I had two salads (kid #1 ate one) so that was all that was on the plate. The kids fries were cold. I mean cold. The lovely Ashley brought them a small plate (about half what was on the original plate) of hot fries. The burgers with the cold fries were cold and way overcooked. They had an odd taste. The bacon nearly raw. The coconut shrimp was awesome and not fishy or cold. The salads made by Ashley were also the bomb! Then comes the General Manager Brian. Ashley had asked him to come chat with us about the bad food. He looked harassed and aggressive on the approach. I tried to make him understand we hadn’t really asked for him just shared the state of the food with Ashley. He listened and offered to remake the kids burgers. He ignored everything about mine. He said they couldn’t know if people didn’t tell them (feedback) so that was good. But he didn’t really apologize for the bad food. He instead explained it was plated as it was cooked. He did remake the burgers which turned out better than the first. He did not comp any of the food. Not a problem but he didn’t offer anything as way to make the experience better (dessert or whatever). I understand they aren’t obligated to, but we shouldn’t pay for bad food either. Ashley was better at diffusing the situation and making it better. Sad but he likely didn’t have the help to make the restaurant run in the back but a lot of the servers weren’t busy. Crosstraining should be a part of the job so the restaurant ran smooth but again whatever. Overall, my interaction with him wasn’t positive and I would not hire him to do customer service. He may be great in other management aspects but speaking with customers…no. I have never had this problem before at Logans. The restaurant is one of my favorites and comfort food as I was attending a friend’s funeral and needed it we found one and gave it a go. It wasn’t busy so we were hopeful. Sadly, it was not a great experience. At $80 for lunch with water (yes, price shock even the burgers were crazy expensive and they no longer have a lunch menu), we sadly won’t be back or ever at this location. [Yes the bun came out like that]
