Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Union City – 2024

Very friendly environment, the vibe was very inviting peaceful place to be. I am from Houston and this is my very favorite vegan spot now that I’m in the ATL. The food was magnificent. Can’t wait to go back again.

Oh my goodness!!!! They have THEEEE best spinach patties, so delicious! My salad with vegan beef & mushrooms was delicious and so filling. The staff is also amazing, especially since I just returned from Jamaica and was missing the island. I lucked up on this spot but I am def coming back!

Very disappointed. They have pudding rice! The rice was so wet, it’s almost like they cook this rice for old people who have no teeth. The plantains are soggy. I paid $10 for a veggie plate and I should have ate it there to let them know how I really feel. I never will eat here again. I just stopped because I saw the Jamaican flag. This is a real disappointment!! I had to throw this away and run to golden krust.

Stopped in this little spot for a quick lunch when traveling for business. We were greeted by the sweetest, most welcoming woman with her kind words and big smile. I had the jerk chicken meal with rice and peas. I chose the white meat chicken which was slightly dry, so I would probably do a mix of white and dark or just dark next time. My coworker had the ox tails meal wish he was kind enough to share. I’ve never had ox tails but would consider them now that I’ve tried them. I would recommend this place for anything looking for authentic Caribbean cuisine!

Well I just found my new favorite seafood spot.....I absolutely LOVED this place! The food and the service was top notch I should have worn something loose cuz my belly was definitely bigger when I left Mrs. Crystal was so nice to me and my husband.....she gives me that sweet Auntie vibe. We'll definitely be back again and again. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could!

I apologize for not getting more pictures, but it was our first visit for my wife and I. The accommodations were well spaced, clean, and within 15 minutes our order was done. The plate below is the combo meal. You have a choice of two meats and this includes French fries, cole slaw, and two slices of bread. I had the whiting fish and shrimp. Everything was well cooked and seasoned. The fries taste like real potatoes and have good texture. The shrimp were extremely tender, easy eating. The soft drinks were good and the sweet tea was so sweet who needs caffeine...lol

Never again. A knockoff JJ’s Fish and Chicken that does everything wrong. Chicken was super dry. The chicken tenders were extremely small and skinny. It was all wrong. I wouldn’t dare come back. I should’ve never cheated on JJ’s.

First Off - I had ordered two pieces of whole catfish with two sides, I never heard you can get a combo for five extra dollars at the call button. The cashier said, choose a dessert and drink…. I said, you can get all that for 16 dollars and some coins, she said yes. I proceeded to drive to the window and she gave me the total $24 and coins. I said, I clearly asked you at the order box.. do I get all of that food for 16 dollars and some coins. Make a long story short… the cashier was very argumentative plus displayed a bad attitude and I felt all of her negative energy, immediately- I began to apologize bc I’m not that person to be arguing over food…. Make it make sense…. Paid for my food and drove off.

Upon entering, the staff greeted me warmly, and everyone was friendly, despite the slow service. I was pleased that the fish was fried to order. However, I found the overall flavor of the food to be lacking. The lemon pepper wings stood out as a highlight, but the fish and BBQ chicken were only average. The Mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the potato salad and coleslaw were disappointing. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the Texas toast as it was forgotten. The peach cobbler was okay, but it seemed like I got the leftover scrapings from the tray. Overall, this was my first lunch stop in the city. For the price, I could have eaten at a local chain restaurant and had a better experience overall.

I ordered a veggie plate for dinner for $10.00. The value for the meal was great but the rice in my broccoli rice casserole was not fully cooked and there was something foreign in my collard greens.

Great taste! The food is cooked to order which I like and the season was great. They have orange Kool aid type drink which is not too sweet. I will definitely go back.

The Fried Foods Wings, Fries, Fish Was OVERCOOKED AND HARD. The Potato Wasn’t As Pictured (NOT A Big Deal) But The Steak Was Over Cooked. It Was Packed With Cheese That Was Mostly All You Can Taste. And It Was Swimming In Butter. The Favoring On The Wings Was Good But I Could Not Eat Them. I Went 1 Hour Before Closing No Customers I Expected Everything To Be Good As It Was Years Ago But It Wasn’t

I order through DoorDash the lady at the front told the dasher that a drink don’t come with my meal but I order one separately and her attitude stinks when I called up their I didn’t get my blue cheese and I can’t eat my wing without it I had a bad experience

Came today and Tootie was our waitress! She was amazing. She was fast and our food was on point. She talked me in to getting an extra shot I wasn’t intended on taking lol but very satisfied.

Myeisha is the face of Jr Cricket… since I’ve been here in Georgia, I’ve been treated with royalty here. She is the best to do it. Come to Jr Cricket and ask for Myeisha!!

I had great service at the Union City location. My server name was Tootie, she made sure I had everything I need and explained the lunch menu that they were currently offering. My food came out within 15 minutes and was hot. Glad I could eat and get back to work on time all with dining in. I have literally no complaints!

We stopped in on the 4th of July. We had The shrimp spring rolls and the oxtail pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked, oxtails were seasoned and proportioned well and the crust was good. The spring rolls came with a Thai chili sauce and were fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our time here and will be back to try more of the Haitian dishes

I ordered the Grio (fried pork) with white rice, fried plantains, black bean sauce, Haitian sauce. It was delicious. I’ve ordered here many times. The vibe is chill, Ms. Belizaire the bartender, works hard always has a smile on her face and does a great job. I will be back to try the pizza next!

I gave this place 5 stars, food is good, customer services was great, atmosphere is very cozy. I am here visiting from New York. After days of eating at different restaurants, I told my friends I have tastes for Haitian foods. They took me here, and I was very satisfied. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the place is decorated in the colors of the Haitian flag, well lighted and ventilated. Soft music playing, not too loud to drown a conversation, even when the DJ was playing, he kept it reasonably . The restroom is clean. The wait for the food is long, that's because food is prepared fresh. They don't really have an appetizers menu. For me, it was not needed cause I wanted to save my appetite for the meal. The food was delicious, and the servers were very professional and courteous. I would come back whenever I visit.

The food was fresh delicious. I ordered the chicken fajita quasdilla with queso and chips.I went on a Friday night. Not crowded at all.

I visit La Fiesta once every couple of weeks. I work right down the street so it is convenient for a lunch break. The service is so amazingly fast, which make it so convenient for lunch. We walked in and were seated immediately. Drinks were brought right out and once ordered the food was on the table within five minutes. The food is always taste fresh and very good. I have never had a bad experience here in any way. You have a customer for life. Keep up the good work!

I gave it a 4 star only because the Manager Teresa saved my experience. She was awesome and very helpful after getting horrible service from our waitress who was very rude, impatient, and had no customer service skills. We had to get our own napkins, we weren’t given water or silverware until we asked. She brought out cold food that seemed like she took it out the refrigerator. I could go on about her lack of service but thanks to Teresa for making our experience a bit better. Kudos Teresa, you have a beautiful spirit!

HORRIBLE. wings are extremely small for the price. And the dry lemon pepper was literally DRY. I thought they at least toss them in butter. First time coming and won’t be returning.

This was the first place I went to eat after landing in Atlanta and it was a 7 Star experience for sure! I ordered the cheese steak and hot honey wings combo and it came out extremely fast. Everything was hot and delicious, and it left a great first impression of the state's cuisine. Would recommend bringing some wet wipes as they only have napkins and no public restroom.

I am here 4-5 days a week. 7 Star Wings provides the best wings in metro Atlanta. Consistently maintains high-quality food & service. Wings are perfectly fried with tasty sauces. Fried rice is fantastic! Superb!

I ordered a 10 piece combo from here today. The food was decent, but when I got home, I noticed I didn’t have ranch in my bag like I asked, I didn’t worry about it so then I went to drink my Coca-Cola that I ordered as well and noticed it was flat. I didn’t call back at the restaurant or anything. I just said I can’t take it back when I head back out. When I took it back up there the guy did not want to give me a refill on the drink, although it was halfway full. He was getting upset Because Refill and he said no one else complained about the coach today. So I didn’t ask for a refund of my drink on my order and Regretfully to take a dollar out the register and tried to hand I to me. If you’re going to give me a dollar out of your register, you might as well give me a refill bad way to handle business, Mr. Business Owner. I am also a repeat customer that have spent money at this restaurant for several years. Never again.

Corner Café is my favorite place, not just for their incredible food but also for their fantastic wig selection! I’ve been a loyal customer since I moved from LA in August 2005, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my wigs. The staff is so friendly and always makes me feel at home. Highly recommend them!

Hole in the wall,.not very clean, dark, dingy looking. Cheese steak was ok, not enough cheese, if you push all the meat to one side its a good 1/2 sandwich. Onion rings were soggy and greasy. I will not be returning.

A great location with excellent service. The restaurant is need and organized what a modern feel. They have specials with whole wings but I decided to get pieces. I got the 6 Wing spicy lemon pepper combo with fries and a drink. The wings were tender and fried well and the fries were seasoned. They also have seasoned salt and or Cajun seasoning to add to your fries. I really want to go back and try the fish next time. Great location too.

The food here is delicious! I ordered the Cajun shrimp hibachi and I was very impressed with my meal. It had the right amount of spice.( I love spicy food) I’m excited now that I have a new food option to visit in union city. This will be the only place I get fried rice from.

This food had no seasoning whatsoever. The best item I received was the yams! I ordered the wing dinner with lima beans, potato salad, and yams. Although the menu says the chicken is cooked to order, that chicken was not even crispy and it had no taste but the measeley salt they put on after the fact! It's like they took the chicken, cleaned it, and didn't add any seasoning until after it came out the fryer. What's the point of seasoning the food beforehand when you have no intention of seasoning it until the last second. Pointless. That is the most crucial part in the flavor process, and this was clearly missed. Not only that, the lima beans were crunchy, and that potato salad was not even mediocre, it was less than! I even had an upset stomach and my throat swelled up afterwards. There are by far better soul food restaurants in the area, but this was most definitely a waste of food and money.

You wanna be happy that you made the right decision come here frfr!! I normally just get the chicken sandwich from here but this time I had got the turkey wing dinner. I like my food a little darker then others but At first I didn’t like how the turkey wing looked she said that’s ok we’ll cook it to perfect and let me tell you she did.. everything was phenomenal the mac the rice with gravy n My God that cornbread moist!!!!! Y’all ain’t gotta go imma keep going

D'lish catered my father's 85th birthday party. Food was amazing and delivered on time. The staff are so, so nice and professional. I would use their services again for my next event.

Bright and sunny in the sun room with the buffet and homemade yeast rolls. They have fried chicken everyday and four other meat choices which change daily. Sweet tea and beverage is included. $22.00. Homemade banana pudding and cakes. Apple cobbler. Great salads with fresh fruit. Good turnip greens,macaroni and cheese homemade. Corn, black eyed peas, carrots and mashed potatoes and more. Monday- Friday lunch and on Sundays open until 5pm. Take a tour around the outside has a beautiful garden and old historic trees. They have been serving lunch for 31 years. The restrooms for the ladies is the purple photo. Pretty and clean. They have events there and weddings too.

Really enjoyed visiting this beautiful, historic place for Sunday lunch. We were one of the first people in and were greeted warmly! A cradle was brought over for my sleeping granddaughter. Everyone was so friendly! The food looked and smelled delicious!! Which made sense because it was!! There was so much to choose that it was hard making one plate. It's a Buffet so you can of course go back for more! If they served breakfast with this I would be here REGULARLY!! We live out of town so I made my husband a to-go plate. I can't wait to come back!

We stopped in after visiting the Discovery Park of America. They had plenty of options on the menu to accommodate everyone in our party. My husband ordered the special of the day, which was meatloaf, and he said it was delicious. I got a burger and it was very thick and juicy, like a homemade patty. We also had the onion tanglers and they were well made. Our party got slices of a chocolate cake and strawberry cake that were excellent. The service was quick and pleasant. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. Everyone was very friendly. Scott’s Grill is definitely a good place to stop and eat!

I ordered 2 biscuits with gravy. The description says a hearty helping of sausage gravy. There was no sausage to be found. It tasted like the powdered gravy that comes in a packet. I was not happy to have ventured out in the cold for this sausage-less gravy

We had the loaded fries ($7.99) which consisted of crinkle cut fries with barely melted shredded cheese topped with slices of bacon and a ranch cup. This is an extremely lazy way of making loaded fries. House Salad which was a standard salad. On the menu they had fried pickles under appetizers (6.99) and sides (3.99). I asked for the side of pickles and got charged for the appetizer. When I approached the register to pay, I explained what I wanted vs. what I got. They didn’t even know it was on their sides menu. The owner said “huh, oh well” and walked off like it wasn’t an issue. The nice lady who was at the register was offering to refund my money but we were in a hurry to leave for our next appointment. Never going there again.

I've come here a few times and I've been saving this review until I've tried a few different things because everything has been amazing! The breaksfast is the best around. Hot and fresh. The Penny Hill specials are all good and they are so tasty. My favorite is the Chicago Italian Beef and I also love thr Vienna Beef Chicago hotdogs. The burgers and sides and all amazing. And the malt shakes are tasty and authentic. Highly recommend this place if your in the area. It's a friendly 50's themed diner and its worth a visit!

Very nice place to eat. They are all so friendly and the food is delicious. We always eat here when we eat out. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody.

Absolutely delicious we had a little bit of everything at our 10 top table. The ribeye was very flavorful. I ordered it med well and it was well so I'd advise med rare other than that it was amazing. Kids loved the atripa and frys. We will be back when in Union City.

Welcome all to a small slice of Italy and the newly remodeled, relocated, and vastly improved Moustos!!! They took great care in all improvements. Gone is the small underused bar are, gone is any signs that it ever needed to be relocated, and improved is both staff and menu! So go on a journey to Italy my friends. The smell of Italian fare here is intoxicating as u are greeted by their wonderful staff. Their tables are amazing and comfortable and the complimentary fresh bread and dipping oil a tasty introduction to their flavors. I find it to be vegetarian friendly and from beginning to end a experience to savor and repeat again and again! Enjoy the photos ^_^.

Dined here for the first time and had several thoughts. We ordered the blackened alligator, the Italian sausage sub, and the black and blue pizza. The alligator was some of the best I had ever eaten. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The Italian Sausage sub was also very good, however, the onion rings were very cheap and generic compared to the authentic flavors of everything else. They almost tasted like they had been microwaved. The pizza was very good. The steak was tender, the blue cheese very creamy, and the red onions added a good flavor without overpowering the dish. The only minor issue was that the crust tasted a bit off, almost as if it had absorbed the flavor of the gas from the oven. The atmosphere was great and the service was very good. We never had empty glasses and the waited checked on us regularly. I will go back. I want to try the wings and will definitely order the alligator again.

Server was sweet! Food was delicious. We had Philly Cheese Steak Fries and a Supreme Pizza.

New to the area and my first time here. Was not disappointed. A great atmosphere, service was awesome and food was excellent at a reasonable price. Server Savanah was awesome. Will be back and highly recommended.

Love their chorizo Mexican style tacos. Queso was decent and the employees were so friendly and attentive!
