Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Signal Mountain – 2024

Absolutely amazing dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, my cocktail was vibrant and refreshing, the whipped feta appetizer was creamy and I loved the crunch of the pistachio and the assortment of veggies/fruit/and bread, and the shrimp scampi was so flavorful and complex. Bri, the bartender, made excellent suggestions, was prompt and extremely friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Service was good and reservation process was easy. Atmosphere is pretty good. Food was good, but the current menu didn't have anything we're excited about having again. We still talk about the crab cakes from the original menu. Friends commented about the fantastic artisan cocktails. Higher price, great food presentation, delish key lime pie. We will go back after menu changes again in a couple weeks. The patio area is good size.

We went yesterday for brunch. It was their first brunch. Our server was nice, but it was overpriced and just ok. The family-style cinnamon roll was really good. My friend had to send her meal back because it was cold. I got the chicken waffle sandwich which was basically 2 chicken nuggets in between 4 little waffles. I hate to give a poor review, but I was expecting more based on the prices. I wouldn't recommend brunch.

It's fresh made and the service was great. I can tell they work hard to prepare the food and take pride in their work. Tipping seemed optional, since Dining in was simple and easy to clean up. (They had a tip jar.) I think most of their business is take out, but I liked the option of having a place to eat. I'll definitely go back

I’m not really crazy about the 5 star rating system. I prefer the “would you recommend” Home Depot-style rating. I feel that says more. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant. Food was tasty. Lunch servings were beyond generous. I can’t eat as much food as I was served. My girlfriend was very happy with her huge bowl of vegetarian soup on a cold day. We both had leftovers to take home. The service was speedy as well.

Update 10/13/21 It's been over a year since I've had a Decent Hot and Sour Soup, the first time I tried Fortune House Hot and Sour I didn't like it at all. That was appropriately 11 months ago, yes I should have gave it another chance by now but haven't until today when I got a small bowl and two shrimp egg rolls (All Their Egg rolls Are FANTASTIC) Well this evening I must Apologize to Fortune House and the Lovely Lady who normally takes my order and prepares much of the food, She Works so Hard for All of Us. The Hot and Sour Soup was Delicious!!! Thank You Fortune House, I thought I'd Never Again Know how Wonderful a Good bowl of Hot and Sour Soup was Again in my lifetime!!!........I've stopped here so many times now, I've got my friends going now also.. This is Truly the Best Chinese Food in Hamilton County!!! Stars... When You Find Yourself Wanting, Desiring, Thinking about.... It's Freaking That Good!!! Try This PLACE, The EGG ROLLS Alone Are Worth It but Try the Many Soup's and Dishes as well.. Everything Fresh Made and Cooked upon Order... It's Has Become My Number 1 ( ) Place to EAT.. I could actually eat Their Food everyday if I could afford too During a Pandemic if this was the Only food I could get, I'd be HAPPY

Have never been here til today!! Wonderful food for an amazing price! Me and my wife each got a kids meal and it was very filling for us (we’re both adults) haha! Their sweet tea and chicken is fabulous! This will be our new spot on the mountain!

Excellent first time eating here. Food came out very quickly. The chicken fingers were very fresh and crispy. Fries tasted great as well as the Guthrie sauce which is similar to other fried chicken sauces, kinda tangy. The young lady at the counter (Delaney?) gave us good service. Would recommend it overall.

The staff on signal mtn location are fantastic! Food is always on point, margaritas can be made custom. Recommend getting Don Julio Blanco, my favorite tequila and the chicken tortilla soup

This was an excellent dinner that we had recently! The food was great, the portions were great and the service was on point. We had the fajitas for 2 and the steak was so tender, the vegetables were sautéed yet still were crisp and full of flavor. I can’t say enough about how fresh everything was and how amazing the quality is. W e are glad to have this little place so close to home. Thank you!!

My mom and I were blown away by the quality of the food. It was delicious! No doubt, those were the best vegetable fajitas I have ever had in my life. We don’t even live close, but we will be making the drive again just for the food! Great value too! The portions were large. We both ate for under $30 (before tip).

Best pizza and onion rings around! Well worth the drive! We'll be back to try other pizzas!

Great food and super laid back nice people! The best pizzas around! Better cheese, fresh toppings and great crust. The drive thru to pick up lunch or dinner works well for great meals on the go.

Great lunch. Lunch fajitas are a very generous serving. Other lunch special also yummy. Great service, lovely day to sit on the back covered porch to eat. Sorry no pictures this time. Lunch for two before tip was around $22. Great value! Personally, I would love to see a bit more updating on the restaurant and deal with the slippery tile inside. I would give it 5 stars on cleanliness. Updated Dec 2023 - just had a great dinner here with hubby! Very delicious quesadillas and enchiladas. Also the interior has been updated and freshened up.

As a routine visitor of El Agave I know what to expect from them for the food and service. Tonight was the worst service I’ve had yet and one of the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Seated quickly and chips were brought out. Ordered queso and our meal which is where the wheels fell off. The server never came back to the table. We ran out of water and wanted to order some margaritas but never saw her again. Other tables had the same issue from looking around with tables full of empty cups. Our food was good however the service was horrendous. Finally after we finished our meal Taylor our server came by and asked if we needed anything and we stated water. She brought a kids cup of water but never refilled our cups. We waited a few more minutes for her to come by and pay which she never did. Finally we had to go up front to pay because we never saw her again. I’ll ask to be seated in a different section next time if we have the same server.

Excellent food, well seasoned and plated. Salsa is one of the best ever. Reasonable prices and terrific service. I will definitely be back.
