My wife and I came in today Wednesday June 19, 2024. We were immediately seated and served chips with and two bowls of red salsa, one spicy and one not. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and we asked if they also had the green Verde salsa. The waiter took our drink orders and in just a brief moment or two he was back with the Verde salsa and drinks. We both ordered the Chile relleno stuffed with chicken which included a chicken taco, guacamole salad and refried beans (pinto we believe). Everything was good but the guacamole was delicious. The portions were huge for a lunch special and more than either of us could finish. Decor was very nice throughout the establishment and the music was authentic and of perfect volume, not too loud to carry on a conversation across the table and not so soft that didn't bring in a nice ambience. I will note that the only utensil was a fork and I love to dip the hot salsa into my refried beans and I will ask for one next time. It was a nice experience and not crowded so go check them out!
Camerones Costa Azul ~ one of our many favorites. Great food ~ we’ve been coming here since they opened.
We took our kids with us which made us have a party of 6 and was told that the tip was in with our total and could not be took off which our waitress never checked on us just took our order and brought our drinks and food and my son had to go ask for togo boxes then he came back and said she’s bring them she never came and seen if we needed refills on our drinks or anything. I will never go in and eat again and get changed 14.26 for a tip when we was never check on while we was there and spent over 118 with tip.. the food on the other hand was good just poor service and I believe no one should be charged a tip if the service was poor like we had.. this is the first time we went as a family into the restaurant we have always done carry out and that’s what we will go back to if I ever go back to this restaurant..

Such a unique and special place. Our table enjoyed a variety of appetizers, drinks, & desserts. The salad bar is very yummy. My husband had the shrimp and grits. The grit cakes were delicious. I had the Cajun pasta it was yummy and creamy. I’m very excited to see what the future holds for this restaurant. We’ll definitely be back to visit in the future.
Great new place. Salad bar is top notch with the exception of the utensils. They are hard to get your proportions right and hard for a kid to use. Filet was good, but did need steak sauce. Pasta was really good. Kiddo liked the chicken tenders.
We had a reservation for the soft opening and had a pleasant time. You could tell that some kinks were still being worked out, as one would expect, but our waiter Terry was very kind and answered all of our questions! We enjoyed our burgers and I would say the fries were so good—perfectly crispy and seasoned! We also tried the Whiskey Triangles which were tasty despite being a bit cold by the time they got to our table. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here. A nice option for an elevated dining option in town.

Definitely worth the drive! Our waitress Tiffany, was the cherry on the top. She was very knowledgeable and attentive in every way! The prices are decent and the food was great too:) Thank Chili's!
I’ve been to this location several times in the last few years and I can say it’s really improved as of recently. I dined the other night and my server was Courtney. And I have to say she was awesome! She was such a friendly person and really made my whole family feel as if we were the only ones at the restaurant. The manager Kristy came out and checked on us and was very friendly as well. We had the new Nashville hot cheese sticks and they were delicious. We will definitely be back again for those! Thank you Courtney and Kristy for the great experience!
We ate dinner earlier than usual, so the crowd had not hit yet. We had a great experience. Service was great, food came out quickly. Chip and salsa is always a great pic. She got the bacon ranch caso, I got the Alex burger with fries.

Everything I've eaten here has been delicious! It's true Southern foods with lots of flavor. The hot chicken is incredible. It definitely has some heat, but it's so worth it. The burgers are a good hearty size with various toppings that make them one of a kind. The chicken salad is also yummy. The employees are so friendly and welcoming! This is one of our new go-to restaurants.
I took a group of 25 in here. The order was taken quickly and food delivered very fast. It was delicious and everyone really enjoyed the atmosphere. The only thing I would change is how they cash you out by causing you to go to the register and they figure out whose ticket is who’s out of 25 people. Plus others, not in our group in line to pay. Not efficient.
Stopped by Urban Plantation for the first time today after eyeballing it for a while. They open at 10:30, we got there at 10:45. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our food was brought out within 5 minutes of us ordering, which was surprising. We had the daily special, which was creamy chicken over rice with mashed potatoes and macaroni, brownie truffle, and a brownie sundae. The food was good and hot. It’s a nice atmosphere, it’s not your typical restaurant setting, and our server (Mikey, I believe) was outstanding. It ended up being $40 for lunch and dessert for two.

We were lucky that this place was open! We were in Shelbyville for one day and were surprised that many places closed early. Service was good. The food did not disappoint- it hit the spot! The frijoles tasted as if my Mother had made them lol. I ordered the carne asada and when I saw all those grilled onions on top, my mouth was watering! Oysters also were perfect!
I ordered a grilled steak burrito and received...I don't know what it is. It was soaked in marinara sauce. This is meant to be a Mexican restaurant? Absolute trash.
Overall, I loved this place. Food was good. Service was amazing. I walked in and out in about 30 minutes My waitress was attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout the service. Their salsa is my FAVORITE. I have been so many times, and they never leave me unsatisfied.

We came in Saturday. Wow!! Words cannot express how great the food is. The atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable. The miso soup was on point, and dragon roll is seemed to me as incredible delight in your mouth.
Always make it a point to come here when visiting Shelbyville (1 or 2 times each year). Food is always fresh, fast and excellent for a fair price. Service is always good. The food could have been hotter this visit. The only inconsistent thing is they struggle with thru the years is cooking beef to order. med rare vs medium vs med well I'm flexible on that so doesn't bother me as much as it bothers in my group. The salmon is the only dish I've ever received that I would not get again. Edemontee? beans were different appetizer that we enjoyed this time. We will be back in the Spring!
Our first time eating here, myself, my wife and my brother walk in and the place appears quaint and authentic. We waited to be seated for about ten seconds before being welcomed to an empty booth. We were promptly asked for drink orders which were promptly brought to us along with menus in which the waitress asked if we wanted appetizers. It took us awhile to decide over the menu during which she came back to check on us several times. My brother order a steak dish that came exactly as he ordered, over medium. My wife and I ordered shrimp tempura, her with Miso soup and I with onion soup. Both of ours came with a spring roll and California roll, and all three of ours came with a salad. We could hear the couple behind us commenting how good the fillet mignon was which impressed me. Our food was excellent and so was the service. We'll all be going back soon to try other dishes as the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I would change would be to remove one small annoying TV and add a little background music. Was in town for the weekend. First night we ordered meals. All were underwhelming. Okay, but nothing to write home about. The lasagna I ordered was about equivalent to what I'd expect from a frozen one with a better sauce. The garlic bread was a sub roll with some garlic butter and the bread sticks were honestly the best part with the sauce. Second night, we noticed the first night they had but 1 get one free pizza. These things look great! I haven't tasted them yet because I'm not hungry yet, but they have that perfectly browned spots on the cheese where they're cooked just long enough and given the bread sticks the dough and the sauce from last night I'm expecting good things. The chicken wings last night left some to be desired. The skin wasn't browned, but they were properly cooked. A lack of options for sauces was disappointing. The meatball sub was disappointing in every way. Size and flavor were underwhelming.
Ordered take out on Friday 6/14/24. Parmesan chicken was very thin, the veggies & cheese in the salad were not good quality. After pulling out some questionable items, we chose not to eat it. Very sad about this.
Notably less greasy than other pizza places. Crust has great crisp with good flavor. Just note it is a little more fragile than other slices of pizza but the flavor makes up for it

Stopped in here after a ball game. We were extremely satisfied to find some great home cooking. Even the mashed potatoes were real and not from powdered. Plenty to choose from and some great desserts. These pictures of the buffet were taken at 1:15 and they close at 2pm on this Sunday so the lack of some foods on the buffet. We will be back here again soon. Its worth the stop. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Another hidden gem
There are obviously a lot of people in Shelbyville that have no idea what good food is supposed to taste like or look like. My family has stopped going here all together. Some of the worst food I have ever had. With that said, years ago they were good. However, as the years have gone by, the quality has definitely gone down hill hard. stopped coming here about 3 years ago after a bad experience. But tried it again about a month ago, hoping that it was just a bad day and maybe they made improvements. Nope. Never again. That day was even worse. The best thing that I consumed that day was the Dr.Pepper. everything was extremely tasteless, old tasting, no seasoning, just flavorless. All I can think is that there are a lot of people in the area that don't have a clue what good food is supposed to taste like.
My visit to this place almost can't even be put into words. What little food there was on the "buffet" was bland, there were no main dishes avaliable other than a few scarce pieces of meat l. for example one rib or a few pieces of dried out chicken strips. I took my family there after hearing some people speak highly of this place, but just do yourself a favor and avoid the disappointment.

Best place to get breakfast In town! I had the omelette meat lover's and hash sooo good!!! lots of good choices and delicious food! Friendly staff and excellent customer service
Was in town and wanted something different. Place is pretty busy. Was able to get a table as soon as we walked in. The tea was good, not over sweet. We both got a breakfast bowl even though we talked about a burger. I’m not a fan of bacon but this bacon was soft and had a lot of flavor. The gravy tasted like it was homemade, we decided to get a pecan waffle to go with it. We would definitely return here.
Layla was our server. She was resourceful, and well mannered in this clean establishment which is open 24/7/365 Food was fairly priced, and worth the value.. Fresh coffee, excellent eggs and country fried steak. Spouse had the denver omelet which was perfect. Service 10/10 Food 10/10

Food is always perfect. Very delicious haven't tried the salad bar but everything looks fresh! The veggie omelet is my favorite breakfast option. Very friendly staff. Overall a great option to eat here in Shelbyville
Love privately owned businesses. Was craving a burger a day this place checked all boxes for me. Our server was pleasant and personable. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. Just a plain Jane cheeseburger done right with home fried potatoes.
I went for breakfast. It was a down-home type of meal. Ruth's breakfast was my order. If you make it your namesake, it should be your signature dish. There were choices. Several choices. I started with asking for over-easy eggs. They came out perfectly. I chose the home fries over the hashbrowns. They were just what you would expect. (In a good way.) Biscuits and gravy were chosen over the grits and toast. I am a grits lover. However, I also love Biscuits. The biscuits are a yeast type. Not my favorite. Yet, putting personal preference aside, they were very well prepared for that style. Very light and airy. Finally, the chosen meat was chicken fried steak. Which was a fried meat lovers delight. Coffee and water were my beverages. The coffee was not coffee house good, but it was decent enough for me to get a refill. Service was excellent. Food service was quick enough, for sure. Long enough to know it was being prepared and short enough that I did not wonder if it was forgotten. There was more food than I should have eaten. (I did stop before making myself completely miserable) Price was around $18 before tip. It was a rather large breakfast. I will be going back. Next time I will get a smaller meal.

Food is not great, All tastes the same. Bland bland Couldn’t even get a refill waitress kept talking to one other table. 3 tables total including us in there. Tons of people walking around but no one working. My boyfriend tipped the waitress $20 for her being pregnant and feeling bad about her talking about her baby daddy etc. Waitress tip hounding :(
My in laws me my husband and our 2 year old daughter went out and sat at La Hacienda for supper and our food was terrible. My husband asked for just meat cheese and red sauce on his burrito nothing else and they messed his order up twice. My order was burnt and I ordered the fajita Jalisco. My mother in law order nachos with just grilled chicken cheese and beans and they put onions in her food and my daughter had just a chicken and cheese taco with beans and rice on the side they put onions and bell peppers on her food and she's 2. On our drinks my father in law ordered a Mello yellow and they brought him an orange colored drink that had it was uncarbonated. Needless to say we will no longer go to La Hacienda.
I was in a party of 13, one little server was helping us. She did an amazing job!! The food was outstanding. All of our meals were hot and tasted great. We never had to ask for refills. I highly recommend La Hacienda.

Stopped in around 1pm for Sunday Brunch. Was not crowded at all and our party was seated at a table. The music was loud, but the songs were on point and the energy from the other patrons was high. We started with the chips and dip flight and the dill pickle dip was our favorite across the board. Our table ordered the smoked wings (juicy, with a fantastic dry rub complimented by hot honey), the double stack cheeseburger (good burger, GREAT fries), and the chicken and waffles. Sage brined chicken - thigh meat - tops sweet potato waffles and every is drizzled with a sweet potato compote. I'll be finding a way to duplicate this, as it was an amazing combination. Our servers were attentive and kept our glasses full. The comments that say it's pricey must not get out much. Meals were all priced between $15 and $21, which is average in this area and the food was way above average so the value is definitely there. We will be back!
We went here to check out the world's longest bar and it was a really fun place. We didn't eat, just had a few drinks, just a warning the Whiskey and cocktails are pretty pricey. The whole distillery and gift shop is really nice. The staff was very friendly and we had a great experience. Will definitely go back.
I made reservations for a rather large group. Most of us would enjoy the tasting as part of the tour, and a few non tasters were in our group. The welcome staff was friendly and seemed to be awaiting our arrival with the respective wristbands ready. My guests and I enjoyed the tour with Terrell, our guide. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and had a great sense of humor. We followed our tour with lunch. Our group was split on where to eat, so some went to Barrel House while others of us chose Sunday brunch at The Humble Barron. No one regretted their choice, and we still can't decide who made the better decision! I am looking forward to visiting again.

This food is ALWAYS on point! Cooks are amazing and my server RoRo was fantastic! Highly recommend. Met my wife for a blind date…we were married 5 months later and just celebrated our 20th anniversary. The good food here may have played a part in that!
Went for my father in laws birthday. Great service. Our waitress was a very lovely person. The food however, was not up to par. They did not have the prime rib. They also did not have the Caesar salad. When our table got our order, all of the sides were on the wrong plates. A few of us did not get everything as advertised. For example someone ordered one of their sandwiches that come with chicken, lettuce, pickles, and ranch. When they got their sandwich, there was only chicken. Not pickles, lettuce, or ranch. While the food tasted good, it was not as advertised or what we had ordered. The bathroom was also fairly neat but there were only 2 stalls. There was water all over the floor. Overall not a horrible place but the Smyrna location is much better.
Great service. Great atmosphere. Decent price for the service and atmosphere. There are a wide range of menu items from burgers to pasta to jambalaya and even some meat & 2-3 options. Everything I've tried is good. It's very popular, so try going during the less busy hours.

my family and i have been coming here for years and absolutely love it! we come from murfreesboro just to eat here. the service is always top notch, food comes out quickly & is always fresh and delicious. the prices are unbeatable. the shredded chicken chimichangas are my favorite thing to get alongside the pineapple lime margaritas. however, i must say even if the food was bad i would probably still come just for the amazing hospitality & kind employees. alfonsos is a hidden gem!
Sometimes you go off the beaten track and you find a little gem. This is a great little restaurant with surveys Mexican food. ( I'm no expert on Mexican food). Lots of choices. Food was fresh and flavourful. The meat was so tender. Service was lovely. I really enjoyed this place.
Great food and service. Authentic tacos for $1.00!! They are NICE and big... And taste delicious. We had the Nachos and were very good as well...but I would just order more tacos and would be perfectly happy with them as a meal. Great service too.

We stopped in to give it a try. We were surprised at how good the food was. They put a ton of chicken on mine and my husband got the lamb . It was so much meat. Well worth it for sure. Don't let the outside fool you. This place has great gyros.
Where to start? From the cleanliness of the restaurant to the pleasantness of it staff. I walk in.I asked the guy what's good he responds.Everything is good and I absolutely agree me.My wife and my son all got gyro sandwiches And they were delicious. They were very patient with us because we do not have alot of Greek restaurants where were from The portion size was good. We got a lot of fries. And when we got done with the fries, our sandwiches were still very hot. I told them I wanted to try the Hummus. The guy put it on my sandwich for no extra charge because I had already paid Please open up a restaurant in mcminnville tennessee my wife and i would love to have a place like this close by
