The restaurant is specialty is that it is a 🍲 Singaporean restaurant
First off, I wasn’t impressed with the atmosphere. The place looks more like a staff canteen than a cafe. I ordered the Char Kuay Teow and my friend ordered the fried nonya eggplant. The Char Kuay Teow had a nice wok flavor but is not as sweet and flavorful as I like. It was fried with only the flat white rice noodle and missing the yellow noodle. The fish cake used did not have the springy texture that is found in Singapore fishballs and fish cake. There’s also not enough egg in it. The nonya eggplant was nicely fried but I’m not sure where the nonya reference came in. I was also very disappointed that they do not have Singapore style kopi or teh. The plus point was that the service staff was nice and friendly. And they offered a free small bowl of burbur chacha for dessert.
