Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Oromocto – 2024

Had the wings, deep fried pickles, onion rings, and deep fried ice cream. Food was good but the best was the ice cream. Service was good, waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was calm and inviting.

Best thunder mugs and wings I’ve ever had. The men in uniform at the bar late at night make me feel safe.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, place is pretty clean and well maintained, got served within 5mins of sitting. I ordered a Radler and friend ordered strawberry cider, the tap Radler was fresh and the canned cider was good to, can't tell the freshness so I've included the date of the can in the pic. Not sure if it's the date it was made or best before, but either way my friend enjoyed it. We also ordered the pizza and the fish chips, the pizza tasted like it looked, and th fish and chip wasn't terrible but I just wouldn't go looking for it. All in all, the energy and staff was very nice friendly. I absolutely loved that washroom sign!

I’ve sat in several times and the meals were good. I’ve ordered takeout 3 times now and each time it’s different. My order is the same but what I get is very inconsistent. First time was missing details, second time dishes were overfilled, this time they seem only half full. The price remains the same but the portions are certainly missing consistency for sure. Front end staff are always great!

It was my first time eating here. The food we got was Surf and Turf, chicken burger, the monster grilled, and the appetizer. I like my surf and turf, but the fries were too soggy. However, the scallops, shrimp, steak, and the veggies were so amazing! The server was super nice, she was friendly and helpful. We had a good time eating here for sure.

I've eaten here twice now first time was back in March I ordered delivery Second time was last night pickup. The first time I ordered steak and seafood for 2 it was 70$ the seafood gave us really bad food poisoning we were sick for 3 days. We called explained what happened they apologized and told us we had a 35$ coupon we could use anytime. A few months later we decided to give them another try. They of course did not have the coupon that was apparently put aside for our bad experience last time. We ordered fajitas for 2 cost around 50$. first off not nearly enough food for 2 ppl. they were also swimming in grease but worse, again they gave us food that had spoiled. all the toppings cheese lettuce tomatoes seemed to have been pre-packed with no dates. Clearly this place is not following safe food practices. The tomatoes were fine, the lettuce was turned it was slimy and turning brown, the cheese smelled and seemed to be melted in the container. Absolutely unacceptable and we will be calling to have that place inspected do not eat here unless you wanna get sick.

Hi, I wanted to share my review of the experience my team and I had today at Mindler’s Pub. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated promptly. However, we were told a server would come to take our order shortly, but after waiting for 30 minutes, no one had come. We had to ask someone to take our order, and a few minutes later, a waiter arrived. We expected our order to be ready in about 10 minutes, but it took another 30 minutes just for chicken soup. Unfortunately, the serving of chicken was almost unnoticeable, and the soup itself was very small. While it was delicious, it wasn't filling at all.

The staff was so friendly, and they have Fantastic pizza!!! It's no wonder they've been around for 35 years. We did the takeout this time and we're definitely going to eat in the next time we're in town. We had a look at the dine in menu while we waited, it looked pretty impressive.

Best pizza in town. That's the only one who looks like the one we have in Quebec. Ingredients are always fresh and pizza is soo good. I don't even know that we can eat inside. We always use take out order.

YUMMY ! Greeted as we walked in, ordered sat down and food was brought to the table. We had a mixed kabob plate with rice, potatoes and salad. All delicious Thanks for great food and service ! :)

Great little restaurant for awesome greek food. Very good and full plates. There is not a lot of seating available and is not easily accessible for wheelchair bound persons. This is a must try restaurant to take out and go sit at a nearby park to eat the delicious food.

Food was fresh and beautifully prepared. It was nice the chef came out to greet us and made recommendations. An extensive menu, something for everyone. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend.

Finally!!!! Oromocto has needed more ethnic restaurants, and Swaad Of India is exactly what is needed. First off, it's newly opened, the owners and staff were very welcoming. Their menu is a good mix of food, but its missing combo meals, so you have a better chance to try more items. We had the Butter Chicken medium, Lamb Curry Spicy, garlic Naan and tandoori roti, with rice. Food came out very hot, and smelled so good. First taste, of the butter chicken, very creamy and had good flavor, the garlic Naan paired perfectly. 2nd taste was the Lamb curry and it was spicy. It paired well, with the roti, but will try the other breads. Had to save room for dessert. Gulab Jaumn is always good. It was served warm with a syrup which wasn't too sweet and hints of lemon. Next was the Laddu, and it tasted delicious. Kind of reminded me of milk cake and jalebi combined. We also tried the Burfi, it was ok, not my favorite. But then the lovely waitress treated us to a carrot pudding. OH MY!!!!! Hands down the best!!! It's like milk cake, but waaaaaay better. We will definitely be back, and I am so happy that they opened shop here in Oromocto. I hope everyone gives this restaurant a chance. They have been opened now for a month. I can't wait to go back for more!

We came from the Fredericton to try this place cuz we have heard good reviews about them. Definitely a Good place to try authentic Indian food. We tried few things from the appetizer and main dishes and it was all delicious! Service was great :) definitely try their Swaad special desert combo

Hello Everyone, Here I am again at this awesome restaurant. This is the fourth time coming back here with family nd friends. First time I was here nd had butter chicken, black lentils with rice nd naan in main course for appetizers I had Tandoori momos nd chicken tikka masala. It was great in taste nd the quantity was enough for two people. We took leftover home as well because we couldn’t finish it at last. Second time when I came I had samosa chat which is now my favourite from this store. After 7yrs of eating experience I found the taste of street food in their samosa chat. Then we had Matar mushrooms, shahi panner, Naans and rice. It was a great experience here again with my friend. And third time here I am with my love to have the samosa chat again. I was wondering to have their manchurian and today is the day I am going to try it. It is going to be awesome I know. Overall I had great experience in their restaurant every time I go. The quality and the quantity according to what we spent is worth it. Thank you so much for giving me such great experience of your food and service.

Chicken sandwich was raw - nearly barfed just at the sight of it. Let customer service know - they've not responded to rectify the issue or even let me know anything is being done to prevent raw chicken sandwiches from being pumped out to future customers. Gag.
