Be sure to make reservations. We arrived earlier than our reservations, and luckily, we were able to secure seats at the bar. We initially were going to have drinks only until reservation time but decided to proceed with dinner at the bar. The food was fresh, flavorful, and fast. Also enjoyed the apple bread pudding for dessert.
We decided to sit outside overlooking the waterfront, and it was truly worth it. The weather was just right, and the service was incredible. The only downside with sitting at one of the high tables is less surface space to eat with the food options we chose. Our waiter/bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, and when he noticed a drink I ordered wasn't up to what it entailed on the menu, he immediately made a new one for me and swapped out the old one. The food was AMAZING! We had Ceviche for our starter, crab enchiladas, and a lobster roll for dinner, followed by Creme Brulee and a bread pudding for dessert! We'll DEFINITELY come back!
Wonderful waterfront dining experience. Note: The entrance is on the waterfront side, not the street side. We did outside dining. The weather was beautiful and the view was as well. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine. I followed several of the suggestions and am pleased that I did. The food was delivered quickly. Plated for a queen... which made me feel royal . Sooooo good! I don't have enough words. If you have the opportunity, this is worth the visit. But the surrounding shops close around 5 pm if you want to shop. Definitely walk the area either way, and thank me later!

Cole’s Chop House offers a solid dining experience in Napa with a classic steakhouse vibe. While the steak was perfectly cooked and the service attentive, some aspects fell short. The bread was disappointing, and overall, the flavors felt a bit flat and tailored more for the masses than for a distinctive palate. It’s still an enjoyable spot for a night out, but it doesn’t quite reach the heights I’d expect for its reputation. A solid 4 out of 5.
My husband and I decided to splurge and do our anniversary dinner at Cole's Chop House in downtown Napa when we were celebrating last weekend. Everything was really nice! Most notably our server, Monica, was such a joy! She was super attentive, really personable and helpful in her dinner recommendations. She definitely helped make our anniversary special! We opted to sit outdoors in their heated enclosed patio. The ambiance was really cute. If you're worried about being warm during the cooler seasons, fret not! The heat really kept up well. Food wise, we got Oysters Rockefeller for our starter and they were SO delicious! We had the Black Angus Filet Mignon (10oz) and Black Angus Rib Eye Steak for our main meals. We both enjoyed our cuts and they were cooked very beautifully. For our sides, we got the Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes & Brussel Sprouts- both had the taste on point! We also got the side on special that night: lobster Mac & cheese. It was very good overall. The only reason it missed the mark for us is because of a preference- we aren't a fan of truffle. But that was at our own personal thing and not due to the cooking at all!!! Just calling it out in case you have a preference against truffle. It was very well prepared and still such a treat!! Monica also brought us an anniversary desert of ginger snap cookies. It was such a sweet touch and they tasted awesome! The quality here was definitely really wonderful! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good experience and good food and can splurge a little!
We went to Cole’s Steak House after our last wine tasting, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip—saving the best for last. Our waiter was incredible, addressing us by name and allowing us to savor the evening without feeling rushed. The steak was, without a doubt, the best. Such a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in Napa!

After coming through up to Napa valley I needed some Italian food to wash down all the wine. I came up this restaurant and I was incredibly pleased with the food. I had a seafood pasta dish and man it was flavorful. The prawns were so fresh and just incredible with the light vodka sauce that coated it. All my buddies loved their food and every dish especially the carbonara was great.
Ristorante Allegria is known for its Italian-inspired California cuisine, set in a stunning historic 1916 bank building with soaring 35-foot ceilings and a unique, elegant ambiance. In addition to the charming interior, they offer spacious, comfortable heated outdoor seating. The menu features a variety of options, from homemade pastas to fresh seafood and hearty meats. We ordered the Linguini with Clams, Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare, Caesar Salad, and Pappardelle Allo Zafferano, each dish delicious and perfect for sharing. We truly enjoyed the flavors and experience.
Very nice location and good quality food. We had multiple course, all were very good. The service was friendly and the staff seemed to work well as a team.

Good food but finding the right dishes to order can be a bit of an adventure especially for tourists. They also serve good wine which shouldn’t be a surprise being in wine district. Smoked Salmon is great for the first course. Capellini was a bit bland for me. Pizza turned out great as well with fresh ingredients and good cheese.
We had the pleasure of coming in for dinner for the first time. Everybody was extremely friendly. The bar tender was attentive and personable. The locals, bar tenders, wine makers, and restaurant owners seem to go there to dine. I'm glad we found this hidden gem.
This was a perfect family-owned Italian restaurant in a residential neighborhood in Napa. This was the Caprese salad. It was SO good. Loved sitting at the bar and watching the pasta chef work her magic. This is a best kept secret.
Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ is a unique culinary destination that harmoniously blends the art of fine wine and the rich flavors of expertly smoked barbecue….
This place was absolutely amazing. My husband and I ordered the platter which consisted of brisket, chicken and ribs. The ribs were so tender you could eat it with a fork. The ribs had a good smoked flavor as well as the brisket and chicken. We also had mac-n-cheese and potato salad wonderfully delicious. Sorry folks, we cleaned the plate before we took a photo....lol
Who doesn’t like BBQ! We decided to stop in after an afternoon of wine tasting as we were famished. We got the platter. It’s a lot of food for 2 so beware but we were not disappointed. The ribs were some of the best we’ve had! The pulled port and brisket were also very good but those ribs!!! Fall off the bone but not super mushy with the rib amt of smoke! Also their bbq sauces (which are on the side) were very tasty!! Man, I wish I could buy some! Our waitress was Eujenya but you can call her E, and she was the perfect amount of friendly! She was an excellent server!!! They also have an amazing selection of bourbon.
Stopped in for a big lunch before doing wine tours and it was great! The meat served is so fresh and well prepared with excellent sauce selection! Drinks are also lovely; try the margarita! Our server Eugenina was so sweet, with great advice! Check this out for a great meal with great drinks!

Overall high quality food. Most of the guests had amazing dishes. One or two perhaps not what one would expect from a pasta dish (for my personal taste, there was too much going on in the simple pasta dishes). All ingredients are fresh and well made. The daily specials were very good. Initially the beverages took quite a while to arrive.
Everything was great. Both pasta dishes, the deviled eggs and the pakoora. Really solid bartenders as well. Highlight of the night was chatting with an enthusiastic bartender with a love for chartreuse.
Perfect evening, fair value and outstanding cuisine. General Manager Scott and his team were so warm and accommodating.. this meal would be hard to top all this week here in Napa!

Came by chance during the traveling in Napa, all food was great and fresh. In our meal, most of plates that me and my friends have ordered were Italian-mixed dishes that easy to eat. Plenty of parking and space to walk around outside the restaurant. Staffs were helpful and try to explain the details of the menu. Price, in personal was somewhat high compared with the quantity, although most of them taste good!
My friend chose to come here for a birthday lunch. Service was great. Everyone was super nice and attentive. My friend had the Alfredo and added on shrimp. She said it was pretty basic. I had the salmon and it lacked flavor as well. They did bring out a birthday sherbet which was nice but not very tasty either. Overall the food was ok just not very seasoned or worth the price to me.
My family and I aren’t fans of pizza around solano county and we usually make our own since we prefer the dough on the lighter side and this place definitely delivered. We were taken to sit outside near the beautiful pond. Definitely loved the atmosphere especially the music. We shared the calamari as a starter and for once it was not served with marinara which we ‘re not really a fan of when it comes to fried calamari. They were not chewy and cooked perfectly. We went with the pizza selections and both were really good. Only thing we weren’t a fan of is the overpowering bitter taste of the broccoli rabe on the “hot Italian”. We also had the Bradford cocktail and the strawberry acqua Fresca and highly recommend both! Also, big fan of the huge parking lot

After a day of shopping, stop by on a Sunday mid afternoon. Sat at the bar, bartender was awesome, very friendly, good conversation. Recommend the homemade chips and dip. I only had 2 slices of the pizza and ended up taking the pizza home the next day. The pizza was just as good as it was at the restaurant! Definitely try.
Lovely place. Sat outside. Our server was superb. Extremely attentive. The food and wine were amazing. I had a half-bottle of sauvignon blanc for $28. A glass was almost that much. Great deal! I had the Banh Mi Sandwich, Liberty Duck Confit, bean sprouts, pickled vegetables, spicy mayo jalapenos, herbs, cucumbers, radish, duck liver mousse, Acme baguette, sweet potato fries and Duck jus. YUM! And those are not your typical sweet potato fries. So crunchy!
If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Great place in a good downtown location, and easy to get a table for lunch, nice menu and well executed dishes. Nothing over the top, but solid restaurant.

What is an amazing dinner for my first trip to Napa. The waiting staff and chef were super kind and created a very good menu! My family and friends and I dinned on four delicious dishes all including meat and assorted sauces. The watermelon with pork belly was FABULOUS such an explosion of flavor! The Asian sticky ribs were great as well. Highly recommend. I will surely be back to This restaurant next time I’m in Napa!
What a beautiful brunch spot in downtown Napa! This was the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had (even after living down south for some time). You’ll savor every bite! Thank you for the meal, we’ll be back soon to try dinner next time!
Great palate experience. First course: beet salad, fantastic citrus flavor profile, second course: duck confit paired with Caymus cabernet, full flavor duck excellently prepared with a variation of al dente vegetables to go with lentils and lastly dessert: creme Brule with caramelized bananas paired with a great dessert wine

A little quirky and a little upscale. This strikes a nice balance between familiar and gourmet. I had the shrimp and grits, my family enjoyed the steak and eggs, the cornbread - would definitely order again -, pancakes - light, fluffy, and a kid pleaser -, and burger. The only miss was the fish tacos. My niece and auntie said their wasn't enough fish in them. Overall, the presentation was nice. Flavors nicely balanced. Service for our large party went smoothly and quickly on a Wednesday morning. We had a flight to catch, and this was a nice place to have our last meal with family before heading home.
We visited Napa on Monday, September 30, 2024 and Grace's Table was our first stop for dinner. We heard that this is a favorite of the locals. The place is kind of offset from the busy first street. The decor was strangely bland, compared to the personality of the menu. We were a little bit suspicious that it was so empty. However, the food was really good. Very interesting cornbread to start and then a seared tuna nicoise and an heirloom tomato salad. If we had been hungrier, we would have eaten more than just apps. The place really needs some art on the walls. It was also a little strange that they played salsafied versions of pop songs, in English. Glad we tried it and we will be back.
Food We ordered the beet salad to share and it was really good!!!! I got the shrimp and grits served with poached eggs. I had my eggs poached medium, and they were poached perfectly. I like my hot food, hot and the grits were not hot. They were just above room temperature. The eggs were hot, but the grita were not. There were only two shrimp, and if you've ever had shrimp and grits, then you know two shrimp are not sufficient. So that was disappointing. The andoullie sausage was plentiful. Overall, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. My friend had the tacos, and while she didn't elaborate, she stated she enjoyed it. Service We were a party of two and were seated promptly. Service was good. They were very attentive...and as weird as this is going to sound...overly attentive. They came by repeatedly to ask us if we were done with our food, but they never came by to ask if they could refresh our water or ask if we needed anything else. Why they were pleasant, we just found that really odd. Atmosphere The restaurant has a welcoming and comfortable environment. There was plenty of seating, and I did not feel crowded. Public parking is within a block of the restaurant at the corner of Second and Randolph. I would definitely come again and try other dishes on their menu. The pancakes looked delicious.

I had an amazing breakfast at Boon Fly Café in Napa Valley, and it exceeded all my expectations! The chicken and waffles were crispy and perfectly seasoned, with the waffle offering just the right amount of sweetness. The pancakes were fluffy, topped with a delightful mix of fresh berries and dried fruits, and made for a colorful and delicious start to the day. The hash browns were crispy and golden, a great complement to the meal. Finally, I couldn’t resist the mini donuts served in a charming little bucket—they were warm, soft, and covered in just the right amount of sugar. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an excellent breakfast in Napa Valley!
Lovely place to grab a bite before heading into Napa Valley. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The corned beef hash is a really popular item on their menu and it’s definitely worth a try. There’s some outdoor space to sit if you’re with family and the kids can run around a bit. Would visit again if passing by.
Delicious food, very expensive (which is normal for the area), and very very slow service. We were one of two occupied tables, and yet our server was nowhere to be found most of the time, even before we ordered. At a place where you're paying $40-$60 per person, it seems like you would expect better than that. The hostess and the busser were friendly though, and the food didn't take too long once ordered, just also took 20 minutes to get a refill of water in the tiny glasses they provided.

If you're in Napa, Morimoto Napa is an absolute must-visit. The Japanese cuisine here is phenomenal, showcasing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, making for an unforgettable dining experience. Our server, Marie-Anne, was exceptional. She offered perfect wine pairing recommendations that elevated our meal to new heights. Her knowledge and enthusiasm truly enhanced our visit. Manager Naten also made a great impression, checking on our table multiple times and sharing insights about the restaurant's history and offerings. He recommended the bar for after-dinner drinks, which turned out to be a fantastic suggestion. Overall, Morimoto Napa combines outstanding food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to add this gem to your itinerary!
Beautiful atmosphere indoor/outdoor.It’s located by the Napa River, providing a nice outdoor view. Packed on a Friday night, reservations a must. Full of stylish, trendy crowd. Good food and wine.
Contemporary Japanese with vibrant atmosphere. Considering the price range, it was like 5 stars but overall good in general. It is not traditional Japanese with loud environments, so if you are looking for something calm, might not be a good option.

I had a fantastic experience at this bar and grill! I ordered the wings, and while they might seem like typical bar food, these were seriously delicious. They were perfectly crispy with a glazed sauce that had just the right amount of kick. They came with a generous portion of blue cheese and crisp celery sticks. The service was top-notch. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Napa. He gave me some great recommendations for local wineries and even suggested a fantastic [beer/wine] that I ended up loving. The atmosphere was upscale but still relaxed, with a really cool old-school vibe. I loved the black and white photos lining the walls, they looked like they were from the 1920s and really added to the ambiance. I can't wait to come back here again - highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and service in a sophisticated setting!
Napkins is everything you can hope for in a Napa Bar & Grill. We dined on an early Sunday night and the dining room and patio were bustling. However the bar was a little raucus with people watching Sunday Night Football. The service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive, just the way it should be. Cocktails are very inventive and more importantly delicious - the Fume in particular comes with a dramatic presentation that serves both form and function. And the margaritas were well-balanced. For dinner we started with Crispy Calamari and Napkins Wings - both delicious. Our entrees included the short ribs, signature burger, and the filet with crab special, but the standout was the vegetable wellington - I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was honestly blown away and this dish is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Seriously, it’s that good!
Both dishes were very good! The meat was very tender and flavorful for both entrées. Drinks were good a little bit pricey but reasonable for the area. Disappointing with happy hour because it’s only at the bar.

We had a great experience for Thanksgiving dinner here. The only thing that left the sour taste in our mouth was the mandatory 23% service charge. Bill for Two people came out to be more than $400. Although we got a glass of red wine. I don't think the dinner was worth $400 but cost aside The tasting course service was very quick and delicious at least mine was my partner. Didn't enjoy his food as much as I did. They seated us 45 minutes before our reservation which we appreciated. Good service at the bar.
Unbelievable service and food quality. Truly inspirational. We own a restaurant and winery in South Carolina and have watched the service quality diminish on each trip we take to California. This place gives us hope, and also inspiration. From the incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and impeccable service, we were blown away. We will come here to take notes on how to run our business better in the future. These guys are truly 5 stars!
Beautiful way to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We were in a quiet backroom with one other couple. Our service was excellent, they clear the dishes and give new utensils after every course. The food was to die for. Absolute perfection. Soft bread to start. Escargot is a must try here and the beef bourguignon was so tender. The pommes puree so smooth and cheesy. And the butterscotch bread pudding perfect ending to a perfect meal. They also treated us with two glasses of champagne or was so sweet.

A diner with a large selection of items. The good: beers and wines next to innovative (as well as classic) diner staples. The place has a great atmosphere and feels like a swinging place from the 60s. The less good: The burger was good, but a bit dry and the garlic fries were very oily. The service can be faster.
Before visiting Napa, we were told by SEVERAL people to stop at Gott’s! We are so glad we listened. Gott’s was the perfect low-key and easy meal for our first night in Napa. Not only was Gott’s within walking distance to our hotel, the food was amazing! I got the schnitzel chicken sandwich and my husband got a burger. Both were fantastic—as were the garlic fries and onion rings! I’ll admit we did go back a second time, so I could get a black and white shake which was delicious. Service was great, the restaurant (including the patio) was spotless, and the food arrived quickly despite being during the dinner rush. We’ll definitely be going back!
Absolutely incredible food. Real standouts are the tomato soup and double cheeseburger. I’ve eaten a lot of burgers, but this was truly the best one I’ve ever had. The soup was also a surprising one. It was super complex and had a nice viscosity with fantastic flavours. I wish I could come back every day.
