Food is pretty food. Ordered and at our table within 25 minutes. Walked in , were going to be immediately seated at a table for 2. However, we wanted seating where we could sit side by side, so we said we would wait. The girl seating us got annoyed and kinda rolled her eyes, young girl, that's why I rate a 4. Nice area. Server was friendly.
AMAZING experience all around here! We did have a bit of a long wait, but what do you expect on a Friday night? The food was PHENOMENAL!!! The service was IMPECABLE! Delaney was our waitress and she is absolutely fantastic at her job she checked on us many times, our drinks never emptied, she was very informative on food wait times etc. VERY PLEASANT and made our visit worth while! Customer service on point! Will DEFINITELY visit again!
We were seated quickly, received great service, and enjoyed the atmosphere. The bread is amazing! I was slightly less satisfied with my Alfredo the Dark. The menu boasts chipotle, but there were no hints of the flavor in the sauce. The food tasted delicious as it was, but the flavors felt misrepresented. I still enjoyed my meal and will likely go back for a second try.

Arrived here on a Wednesday night around 8 pm. If I would have known they did trivia I would have come earlier. The restaurant has a large indoor space and some outdoor space. Considering it was 109 degrees, the outside was not open. I saw a group of about 18 people so it can be accommodating for groups. We were greeted by a sweet older lady that sat us quickly. Our server Gianna came and introduced herself shortly after. The drinks were on point, the AZ mule is a recommended drink. I had the Gila Monster with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly medium and the pulled pork was a good add. The truffle fries were in a wedge cut, which was different but it was good. Honey had a brisket sandwich and she approved and recommends the brisket sandwich. We have a group coming in soon and may bring them back here because of the menu size and reasonable prices.
Food, service, atmosphere are excellent. This place gives you the dive bar vibe but they have plenty of selections of beers n mix drinks. We had ceviche, lunch salad, pasta, beer flight, n 2 beers. Everything is great n pricing was reasonable. However…they charge 2.99% of bill when you pay by credit card. I just thought that CC processing fees should be part of operating cost n should not pass on to customers.
We had never been here before. Our waitress knew everything about the menu and recommended anything meat and the smoked wings. So we ordered a combo meat plate. The links and pulled pork and 10 Smoked wings. Food was really good. I will return and order the green pepper hamburger! Also it was busy but they seem to know what they are doing because the food didn’t Take long. Picture is our food and wings on one tray. Also loved the potato salad!

I recently had lunch with Annie for her birthday at Copper + Rye and enjoyed the pasta from their tortilla chicken and pasta dish. The dish featured a marinated chicken breast crusted with colorful tortilla chips and served over campanelle pasta in a creamy Southwest sauce with fresh basil. The pasta was cooked al dente and had a nice shape for capturing the flavorful sauce. The sauce itself was rich and creamy, with a pronounced taste of sweet red pepper in every bite. While the chicken was beautifully crusted, it was unfortunately overcooked and a bit dry. I didn't detect much of the marinade flavor in the chicken, and I needed a steak knife to cut through it. The restaurant itself was elegant and had stunning views of the golf course. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. While I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and service, I'd likely order something different on my next visit.
I made a dinner reservation for my husband and me at 6:30 PM and arrived at 6:20 PM. We were seated right away, and the atmosphere looked lovely with live music—I was excited to try the raspberry Paloma. However, despite the restaurant not being busy and multiple servers standing around, not a single one greeted us. After waiting 16 minutes without any acknowledgment, my husband and I decided to leave. Copper + Rye, your management needs to step up and ensure your staff provides the basic courtesy of greeting and serving customers promptly. Disappointed.
Very underwhelmed to say the least. Nothing was horrible at all. All freshly cooked. The club was a good size and fresh. The sweet potato fries were crispy and had good flavor. The cheeseburger was cooked to order and again good flavor. The onion rings were nice and crispy. The hummus was the most disappointing. It was fresh but it had almost no seasoning. All of the food was what it should be, good quality food. But it’s not above average, and nothing unique that separates it from anywhere else.

Good food, good service & fun atmosphere. We made a reservation for 6:45 pm on Friday and we're seated at 7 pm. It was a good thing we made a reservation because the restaurant & bar were both packed with people waiting to be seated. Most likely over an hour wait without a reservation, at least on a weekend. The staff were all friendly, and our server got us us within 10 minutes of being seated. We felt the staff were doing a good job for as busy as it was in the restaurant. The menu had a good selection to choose from. There was also a gluten-free menu that was separate. We ordered our drinks which quickly. Our salads also came quickly along with our entrees. The food was good, my steak was a little rarer than I ordered it but not enough to send it back. Be prepared to pay more than usual. Our bill for two was over $150. Overall, I would recommend trying it out, but it will be a once in a while for us.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary the other night. We had such a wonderful experience! Everything was sooo good! The food, the drinks, the service we will definitely be back and until then I'll be dreaming of the bruschetta!
The food was great, the bisque was really tasty, the wedge salad was great, the steaks both full filet and the filet medallions were really well prepared. The parmesan crusted topping was tasty, however, it possibly takes a little away from the steak. The Ahi Tuna was bomb. The Betty’s potatoes were not as good as the Mary’s potatoes which was surprising. The wine and bar drinks (Pear drop) were quite tasty. The server was very nice and cheerful, but the kitchen was very behind. Our reservation was at 7 PM, we were seated by 7:10, our appetizer were finished by 8 PM, but the main course didn’t arrive to the table till 8:30, that was the only real negative.

First time at this restaurant. The experience was absolutely amazing! The service, food, ambiance, everything was fantastic! Will definitely go back. We had the Fish Boil for two. We ended up taking some home it was so much. Also took a piece of cheesecake home for later. It was awesome as well.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE ANGRY CRAB? The salad was slimy. Old lettuce, old cucumbers, YUCK. I sent it back. Substituted the Cole Slaw which was equally inedible, it was very bitter, it actually looked OLD and a bit off color. The once DELICIOUS clam chowder had zero clams in it. The cod and fries were good and the wine was cold! Our server Katie was great! Good job Katie ~ oh and by the way, there were only two people working, and as far as I could tell, one of them was doing the cooking. Hey there owners... you better take a hard look at what you are doing. I doubt I will return, which is a bummer because I've been a loyal customer for several years. AND btw, your plastic glasses are chipped around the rim and unsanitary. Not just my cup, all the cups. The Health Department would NOT allow these to be served to customers.
The food here is nothing less than perfect!! The service is great and very friendly. I very highly recommend this place. I had jambalaya and my friend had the shrimp and grits. We also had hush puppies for an appetizer.

We wish we would have found Rio Mirage years ago. This is not a typical Corporate Mexican Restaurant Chain that has fair to good food. This is a Family Operated Cafe who obviously takes great pride in providing Home Cooked Dishes. It brought back such sweet memories of Family Get Togethers. Dishes of family traditions, homemade tortillas, meats, cooked slow and nestled with spices, peppers, veggies and tended with love. We may live 2 hours west in the desert, but this is worth the drive to enjoy such a wonderful meal. The only regret; I should have picked up a Pint jar of the salsa sauce and the hot salsa sauce. Won't make that mistake again.
This was our first time dining here. We decided to give it a shot after seeing the reviews and we’re so glad that we did! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the fajita trio and my hubby had the El Rico with steak. The steak was so tender and flavorful. The service was top notch as well. Toward the end of our meal our waiter went on break, but before he did he came and told us. His peers picked up from there without missing a beat. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants and we’ve rarely seen customer service this great. We’ve definitely found our new spot!
Lunch was wonderful! The food tasted great. We were able to get right in without waiting. We both ordered off the lunch menu. Perfect portion sizes for lunch. Our server was Josh. He is so friendly and happy. It is a nice change to see someone happy at their job. The next time we come to this place, we will definitely ask to sit in his section.

Visited Babbo's for dinner. I've been here twice in the last 2 months, both times the staff seemed very new. They were pleasant but not attentive. Had to call the waitress over twice for basic requests like a drink refill. No it was not overly busy, just more interested in chatting by the drink station. Not thrilled about having to ask for bread. That should be automatically offered to customers. We are already paying for overly priced food. I shouldn't have to ask for complimentary bread. This alone sours the experience and atmosphere for me.
Very friendly staff, great service & good food. We were not expecting much, but we're presently surprised. The food was overall good, a light take on Italian staples. We were seated quickly, attended to right away and received our food fast. The prices were typical sit down restaurant ranges. We thought that for the service and food, the price was fair and plan on going back again.
I ordered and paid for a 13” Margarita pizza at the Surprise location. When I arrived at take out there was a sizable line of people paying for their takeout orders. My food was clearly visible so I asked an employee to get it for me and showed my email receipt. They told me I had to wait in line even though it was already paid for. Also, the food was not under any type of warning device to keep it warm. After 12 minutes they finally got to me, the person I had previously spoken to and who knew it was paid for handed it to me. It was stone cold by then and I told them of my displeasure. There was no service recovery effort made by them. When I got it home and tried to reward it the crust was so thin that it became crunchy and inedible. I will never order from them again. BTW the pizza was average at best. I ended up going to another pizza shop where I was treated much better. It was less expensive for a bigger and better pizza.

I saw a steakhouse comparison recently that included 5 national restaurants. Texas Road House was rated 3rd in the comparison. They didn't try the Surprise AZ TRH. Our visit was great. My NY strip was cooked to perfection. It didn't need any seasoning after it left the kitchen. It was delicious. Our table ordered my steak, a steak salad, the filet medallions, and the grilled shrimp. Everyone loved their meals. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The only comment for improvement would be the volume of noise in the building, but we're old people. That's really on us, not the business. Visit here with confidence.
Rattlesnake bites are AMAZING!!! So delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection. My wife had pork chops that she loved.
Great place to grab dinner or drinks. We stopped in for dinner, and the service was pretty quick. Our server was really nice and approached our table quickly. He was knowledgeable and got our drinks out to us quickly. The food was great. If you get there before 5, they have a lot of their main choices at a discount. Great if you are looking to save a few bucks. I ordered the country fried steak and it was really good. The pulled pork and chicken dishes we delicious as well. Overall, it was a great dinner, and we would definitely come again.

Spicy Bloody Mary to start the day! Yes please. Breakfast was wonderful. Ordered Sunnyside up eggs with ham, fresh strawberries and wheat toast. Service was excellent, food was great atmosphere was matching. Hung out a little after breakfast and it was quite pleasant. Steady business but still no issues with service. With two drinks from bar and two breakfast plates around $45.
The first impression of this place was poor, to be very honest. I ordered a "fancy coffee" and the steak benedict. In my first order, the hollandaise sauce was on the verge of broken, lumpy, and grainy throughout. The eggs were "hard" poached, instead of soft, like a traditional benedict is supposed to be. (In my opinion) The hashbrowns I ordered crispy, and the line cook must have had a bad day or lost focus at work. They were scraggly pieces of potato that had the mouth feel of eating a handful of sticks instead of a solid piece with each side cooked to a crisp but softer in the middle. How it is supposed to be (in my opinion). Theresa was the star of the show, though. She recognized the poor quality right away and made it right. She was a delight! The second set was much better. Eggs poached soft, hollandaise is still questionable, but overall, it was okay. Hashbrowns returned in a uniform piece, cooked crispy. How they're supposed to be. Overall, I probably will wait to come back as the price point + quality just isn't there yet. I do respect the discount on cash transactions as advertised up front, but I do not like how the CCTV camera shines a blinding light in my face as I stand to be seated. Perhaps I will try again in the future, but don't take my word for it. Get out and see yourself.
Great diner for breakfast. Everything we've had has been good. I like their Rueben for lunch. My wife LOVES the Gyro for lunch! Staff is very friendly and helpful. We like to go at off times because they can be busy at peak hours. If busy, sit at the bar, and Theresa will take good care of you.

Food Came out fast and good, The service was amazing I didn't know what to expect since I am from NY, but it was very good. I ordered the New York Rib Eye steak and my wife ordered the Corn beef potatoes and eggs, both were very good.
Nick's Greek Skillet was delicious as was the Saganaki (fried kasseri cheese set on fire at your table). I ate the whole thing and now I'm ready for a nap . Staff were warm & friendly. Restrooms were very clean. Definitely add AZ Diner to your "want to go" list! (Note: sign on the building says Nick's diner.) UPDATE: We've been in town for 7 days and have eaten here 3 times. Excellent every time!
Food was served cold to Luke warm, I ordered a bagel sandwich that was served on a roll. Everything tasted completely unseasoned including the French toast which seemed to just be an egg bath. Service was fine but probably won’t be returning.

I did a build your own omelette and it was amazing! It was one of the best ones I’ve had in a while. My mom said her French toast lacked flavor but the coffee was really good. Our service was great and very attentive. I can’t wait to go back for that omelette.
I had a brunch date with my Grandma and sister. We arrived around 10:20 am on a Saturday morning (August in AZ). We were told there would be about a 30 minute wait. We could see other people outside waiting as well. We received a text message to let us know our table was ready. We were then sat and greeted by our server named Dallas, he was amazing. Very detailed, answer questions about the food, and had a great personality. The food was really good sized portions honestly. The restaurant decor was well done, with pos of color and a well lit and inviting space. We ordered the protein waffle with blueberries, the quinoa power bowl and the 2 egg breakfast (the strawberry jelly is homemade and must try)! The only con was that the music was a bit loud for us to carry a conversation without yelling or asking one another to repeat what they said. Also, we sat in the booth close to the kitchen and every time clean dishes were stacked up behind me it was so loud it made Grandma's ears hurt and she'd have to stop mid sentence. Overall, I do recommend trying this place, the food is so good and we had a great time!
First visit and recommend by friends. Wait list helped to make getting a seat easier than normal wait in line. The place was clean and had simple but classic look at feel. Wait staff and huge shout out to Adriana A. She was by far the most positive, attentive and helpful arrived we have had in a long time. Helped make the meal better. Food was plentiful, tasteful and presented in a very inviting. One offering a skillet gives one the idea the offering would habr come on a hot skillet. Well it didn't but the bowl and dish was still tasty. Well worth a visit when near any of the locations neat you.

The atmosphere is very nice with a golf course view. Our server was obviously new, but did an adequate job. We ordered the fried calamari 4/5 (artichokes best part), fish and chips 4/5, meatloaf 3/5, and salmon 3.5/5.
Wonderful atmosphere with lake and golf course views. I had the Classic Burger with German potato salad on the side. It was delicious. They supply you with ketchup mustard and even a little mayo to put on if you want (which I normally would) but it was so delicious and perfectly cooked that didn't need to add anything to it. There's a secret sauce they put on there that is just right. I'll be back! :-)
Finally found a place I'm certain guests will enjoy. Went twice and will always choose Angela's Kitchen as my place of certainty for excellent food, interesting menu, good prices, fantastic attentive service, with outside eating providing a pleasant atmosphere. If you have not tried Angela's Kitchen and find frustration with the options in Surprise, AZ; I assure you Angela's Kitchen will cure your frustration and you also will be confident to bring your guests.

This was my first time dining here, and it was a clean and friendly atmosphere, no doubt. The food was hot and prices weren't too outrageous. The parking lot was scary for any female since it was completely dark. Definitely left me feeling a bit uneasy! Wasn't sure where exactly the front door was since the first door i saw looked like a side door or a take-out exit, but in fact, it was the front door. I am a very picky eater, and well, it was pretty tough picking out something that wouldn't upset my stomach. All items had some different flavors that I wasn't expecting. For example, the tarter sauce. It was green. The fish were beer battered, and when I put them together, it was okay but strange. The fries were the best I have had in years. Onion rings were great. Again, I'm a picky eater, and ever since covid, all food just isn't the same! The menu had some different choices! And if you drink alcohol we'll this is definitely a place that is more centered on the alcohol side of things than anything else. So it's not a bad place but not great either, and that's just my own personal opinion.
For the price I had expected more from the food, but the atmosphere was fantastic, service was outstanding, staff was very friendly and the portions were big.
Eduardo, thank you very much for the great service this afternoon! We are regulars at this great restaurant/brewery and have never had a bad experience. It’s always exceptional and will always keep coming back because of that! We brag about it to anyone we can any time we get a chance to! Tonight was our first time sitting in the Barrel Room and glad we got the opportunity to do it. You took great care of us, and we can’t thank you enough! We will be back soon and we hope to see you again! See you soon Amigo! Thanks for the great service and great conversation!

Great place for a special meal. The drinks were very good! I had prime rib, and it was cooked perfectly. The parm potatoes were yummy and a good complement. The tomato bisque was unique and very flavorful. My wife had the sirloin, and she loved it. The proprietor came to the table and chatted. Service was quick and appropriate. Great place!
We went for our anniversary dinner. We wanted a nice meal without having to dress up in the 110 degree weather. Everything was fantastic. Our server Antonio made sure our anniversary was special, and was very attentive. The steaks were absolutely delicious as was everything else. The only thing that could be better is the parking.
Busy place. The service is very good. The atmosphere is pleasant, but noise level is upper medium. We ordered deviled eggs 5/5, tomahawks pork chop 3.5/5, chicken Caesar salad 4/5 with wood fired chicken 5/5. Wood fired chicken should be and entree. Good beer and wine selection. Full bar.

Service was great! We got sat right away and our waitress took our drink and food order quickly. Food arrived at a decent time. Food was ok. Philly cheesesteak meat was a little tough. The rest were good and filling.
Amazing staff, cozy and comfortable atmosphere with some really great food! We ordered the fish and chips, sheppard’s pie and the corned beef and cabbage! I taste tested all of them and all were really delicious! Definitely a must try!!
Been wanting to try their fish and chips. Had the dinner size. This was one piece of fish, big enough to satisfy. The batter to fish ratio was excellent, and the batter consistency was perfect. The coleslaw was typical but good. Chips were JoJos and were very good. Hannah served me at the bar, where there were lots of guys who obviously knew each other. Felt like they come in on a regular basis. Made it comfortable. Hannah did a great job. I liked it when she brought up the condiment rack, it had malt vinegar. Oh Yeah!! Hannah was very personable and helpful. I'll be back.
