Drove up to downtown Gilbert and randomly picked this place for dinner. I try to take my mother out to someplace new to eat every few months. The food was good. We ordered nachos, a spicy chicken sandwich and a burger. Spicy chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. Burger was cooked on point and delicious. French fries were hot and crispy. I ordered the truffle fries and my mom ordered the salt and pepper fries. I think I preferred the salt and pepper fries. The nachos were hot and crispy, plenty of toppings. The appetizer comes out in a timely manner and we were given enough time to finish our nachos before the sandwiches arrived. Waitress kept our glasses of water filled and my soda refilled. Neither of us had any alcohol, but the drink menu looked extensive. Total for the bill was $57. Highly recommend this place for good food.
We visited The Porch in Gilbert, AZ, for a fun family outing, and it was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I, along with our two sons and daughter, had a blast. The atmosphere was lively and family-friendly, with plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed playing Connect 4 and hoops while waiting for our meals, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, it did not disappoint. My oldest son had the Smash Porch Burger, which he said was juicy and full of flavor. My youngest son loved the Slider Burgers, and they were the perfect size for him. Our daughter went for the mozzarella sticks, and they were hot, crispy, and delicious. My wife had the grilled cheese, which was perfectly golden and cheesy. I opted for the vegan burger, and I was impressed with how tasty it was! The service was also top-notch, with quick and friendly staff making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, The Porch is a great spot for families or anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. We give it 5 stars and can’t wait to return!
My first time at the Porch. Great spot in the downtown Gilbert area. We went for dinner and finding parking was kind of a pain. We drove around for a few minutes before we found a spot. The restaurant is nice. We sat in the patio area. There’s TVs, games and 2 tables with swinging seats. Very cool! Our waitress was so friendly! Food was great!

Hugo was our waiter, and he provided phenomenal and attentive service! He was super welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our visit and Hugo was very knowledgeable of the menu, and helped us make great dinner choices. We were very happy we came in!
We made reservations for a party of 6 just hours before on the same day through the tab on through Google Maps. I would definitely recommend reservations. Since we were there on a late Saturday afternoon, there were no happy hour specials. The atmosphere seemed like a community with group who had never met before easily engaging in conversation over food and sharing with others. Overall fun experience with great food and drinks.
Everything was perfect. The staff was on point at every turn. She provided better than great service. The only thing better was the fun and the presentation. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for, and we got more. They have a deviled egg appetizer that was

Third time eating here and excellent as always. Sunday and Monday is Prime Rib night which comes with vegetable and loaded potato… great value. My only complaint is there was no cheese on the “loaded baked potato”. So it wasn’t completely loaded but still good. We also went against the grain ordering roasted chicken instead of more steak which had great flavor and the english pea orzo that came with it was decadent. No dessert for us but the wine pours are generous . Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic first experience of this establishment. Quite an extensive menu of bourbons and scotch available, reported to be over 700 bottles. Extensive food menu as well. Grilled seafood potters very good. My wife had a ribeye which was tremendous. I recommend and will return
We had 4 entrees, 3 appetizers, and about 5 drinks (beers) for the table total. The crab cakes were not great at all. The ceviche was good and the pesto shrimp were okay (I wouldn’t order them again). I had Wagyu which phenomenal. However, my husband had a Prime Ribeye which was okay (we have had better). The other dishes were the salmon & chicken, both of which were super salty to the point our party could not eat them. The salmon was served in a super salty broth. The waitress did ask how everything was & we did provide feedback. However, there was no offer to have the dishes remade. It was just a response of, “thank you for the feedback, I’ll let the chef know”. The manager (I’m guessing that’s who he was, he never introduced himself, but was in a red suit, accompanied her to the table). (The waitress, Brittany was nice about it). We were highly surprised because typically a restaurant that ranks in the level of Dominick’s or Steak 44 failed there. Our bill was a little over $400 & I tipped $75, so a total of just below $500. We eat at these types of restaurants regularly, so we really had high hopes, especially based on the other reviews. I would not ever return.

Joe’s Farm Grill never disappoints! This time, I had the veggie burger with the beet salad, and both were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. My husband ordered the Sonoran dog with the pickle fries, and he couldn’t stop raving about how perfectly cooked and seasoned everything was. We’ve been here a handful of times, and the food is always top-notch, fresh, and full of quality ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The restaurant itself is such a gem – charming decor, a great vibe, and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors to suit any mood. We love sitting outside under the shade and enjoying the peaceful, scenic setting. If you’re looking for consistently delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and great service, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Unique grill with good food and great service. I had the Farm burger with garlic fries. The garlic fries were damn good. Reminded me of the garlic fries you would get at Gordon Biersch when they were still in business. The burger was great, except they were heavy-handed on the salt. I found the staff very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Follow-up visit : had the fried shrimp dinner with onion rings and beet salad sides. Excellent food and great service.
I love this place for casual dining. Order at the counter, receive a number and they serve you at your table. The atmosphere is a little funky and has tons of natural light. There’s a massive outdoor eating area. The bathrooms are a must to check out (I won’t give away why). As for the food…delicious! I had the Gouda Garlic Bacon Burger with fries as my choice of side. It was served with plastic gloves to use since the burger is so juicy. Kitschy, but a smart marketing idea, in my opinion! The burger is chargrilled and the bun is deliciously toasted. The fries were good, and plenty for me, but I’m sure others would say the portion was too small. Definitely a wonderful restaurant and I highly recommend!

After visiting the Gilbert farmers market, we decided to stop by this spot, and I'm glad we did! It appears to be a converted old house, giving it a cozy and charming atmosphere. I ordered the spicy chorizo omelet, and while it wasn’t very spicy, it was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients! I’ve also heard great things about their famous cinnamon roll, so I’m already planning to return to try it. If you're looking for a unique spot that’s not a typical chain restaurant, this place is perfect!
This a really lovely event venue! Just south of downtown Gilbert. The pavilion is 30 x 60. depending how you set up food and dancing, I would say you could host around 120 comfortably, but there is overflow if you need it. I loved all the cute photo op areas, and 'The Red House' has a lovely wedding gazebo that could work for a small ceremony or a great cocktail area. Bring in your own food and beverages. I would love to see a fun food truck as an option here.
I really enjoyed this restaurant trying it the first time. Came here with my husband and daughter. Ordered the blueberry pancakes with sausage and eggs added for extra, which was about $20, a little pricey for a two egg two pancake and three small sausage breakfast but the quality was outstanding. Husband ordered chicken fried steak and said he would definitely come back order it again. Daughter ordered the French toast with sausage and hash browns added for extra. Two coffees and iced tea plus the three breakfast entrees ce to $78 before tip. A little pricey for breakfast for 3 but the quality makes it an exception. The service was friendly, quick, and the restaurant is very cute and quaint. It's basically a historic style home with indoor and patio seating. We sat outside and it was a little warm but I side is a little tight and a little suffocating.

Liberty Market has been on my list for over 3 years, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The interior is spacious with high ceilings and exposed beams, creating a great atmosphere. Our server was attentive, friendly, and a joy to chat with.
The restaurant showed high expectations but ultimately we left disappointed. We waited over an hour for our meal to get to our table. While the tables around us that came after ended getting theirs within 30 minutes. The food was quite frankly terrible. The chilaquiles tasted as if they tossed some random chips and any red salsa they could find. The pancakes were decent but the seasonal fruit was just canned peaches that looked past their expiration date. The server was nice but took a long time to get to us, especially for drinks. Overall first and last time coming.
Had business dinner at the back table with 5 of us and received great service from Julie. Enjoyed the appetizers, main course, and desserts. Relelaxed atmosphere. Will definitely return. Edit: Returned on 11/6/2024 for lunch with staff. Great service in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone should try the bread with sweet butter. I liked how the chef committed to the flavors of the smothered breakfast burrito - nice spicy aftertaste. I ate the burrito in two meals due to size. There is also a separate meeting / conference room on the 2nd floor in an adjoining building, ready for business meetings, with rolling big screen TV. Downside: no attached bathroom. The decor of the bathroom stalls is unique to each room. Most are Jack and Jill, with one that is urinal-only. I like the common wash sinks - very efficient.

Nice place with good food. It has a nice atmosphere and everything we ate was delicious. Service was great too. The only thing is that it's pretty expensive. Just getting 4 pieces of bread costs 9 dollars. It is really good bread, but still. Glad I went but not a spot I'd go to all the time due to price.
Spicy sausage pasta was the best thing we ordered. Hot honey pizza was good but needed a little more cheese Service there was excellent, the waiter was awesome and gave great recommendations. Would come back again.
North Italia is our go-to Italian spot for years now, and it never disappoints. We recently had their pesto pasta, and requested to replace chicken with veggies. They did an outstanding job—special kudos to the chef! The flavors were spot on, and the dish was perfectly balanced. Their garlic bread with truffles is an absolute bomb, bursting with flavor and a must-try for anyone visiting. We’ve gone with family multiple times, and every visit has been a delightful experience. The ambiance is lovely, and the service is always top-notch. Highly recommend North Italia for authentic and delicious Italian cuisine.

I recently visited Kona Grill in Gilbert and had a great experience! I started with the calamari and tried a few happy hour bites like the satay chicken and sliders. Everything was delicious, especially the sliders—the beef was so flavorful. While the regular menu items are a bit on the pricier side, the happy hour deals are very reasonable. The cozy ambiance makes it a great spot to hang out with friends or loved ones. The drinks were also amazing! Highly recommend checking this place out.
So I would say the place is definitely a higher end version of a typical Hawaiian restaurant. It’s that Hawaiian fusion style, which does include sushi and now they have a brunch which includes things like breakfast burritos, and pancakes to cater for weekends. I would say the quality of the meats are very high end. The staff and service match the quality of the food, my favorite thing might actually be that butter cake .. that thing is amazing. I loved their loco moco and the drinks are outstanding too!
Wow, what a delightful surprise! I had no idea Kona Grill offered brunch, but I'm so glad I discovered it. Their Sunday brunch was absolutely perfect for a girls' gathering. The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. But the real showstopper was the espresso martini - absolutely divine! I'm so impressed and can't wait to come back for more. Five stars especially for our server Desiree big thumbs up from me

Really good food and great service. The ahi tuna poke stack was delicious. I was really impressed with the quality of the tuna. Other menu highlights include the reuben sandwich that was loaded with tasty corned beef and the seasonal cedar plank salmon. It's worth noting they have a daily happy hour from 3 to 6 PM that offers deep discounts for most of the appetizers and many cocktails.
Jada was our server tonight and she was absolutely amazing. Seeet, kind and on top of always making sure we were good. The drinks were delicious and the food hit the spot!!! Worth coming back and if you do, I hope you get served by Jada as well!!!!
Best service anywhere in a really long time! Will be going back just because of our server! I want to put her name down, but I don’t because I don’t want her busy when we go there. Yes, I’m selfish that way. I spoke to the manager Billie about how completely amazing she was and they WOW Billie was also incredible! So many amazing women working there! It seems like an exceptional place to work! The food was incredible, BUT the dessert was beyond anything I’ve ever put in my mouth!

It was our first time at Postino and we were met with amazing service and even better food and drinks. Altogether we had five different bruschetta s and the charcuterie board and it was Al amazing the smoked Gouda was phenomenal. Highly recommend Postino East for casual drinks and a tapas style experience!
it was really loud when we arrived for lunch. There was a fly in the restaurant which was kind of annoying, but it is an indoor outdoor so it’s to be expected. We celebrated a birthday lunch. We actually decided to share an appetizer and a board. Our waiter offered a free donut type dessert however they were not cooked all the way through, but they gave you enough that if you ate the outside of the dessert it was just fine. I would like to add they asked if we had any food allergies. I think that's nice gesture. Overall our experience was good.
Our favorite goto spot when attending performances at the Hale Theatre! Our server Ethan was amazing. Highly recommend the steak and chicken bites appetizer and you must try the mushroom fondue. The Italian Beef Panini was also excellent. Donut dots for dessert were really good and off to the theater we go. We really enjoyed their Happy Hour too. We had two wine drinkers and two beer drinkers and we were all happy. (Great value on the Happy Hour too.)

First experience at Cooper's Hawk and am looking forward to going again! Went with a group of friends, all tried a different dish and a different dessert, and everyone loved it all. I had the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon (amazing flavor!!) and my favorite dessert was the Banoffee. Our waitress was attentive and interactive, the restaurant had a nice ambiance, and it was a great experience overall. The only downside is the parking situation, as it is located in a very busy area, but nothing that would stop me from going again.
Interesting combination of wine tasting and restaurant. Pros: excellent food; the red wine braised short rib is excellent. Very well prepared and excellent flavor. The braised short rib and risotto is also excellent. The bana-offee desert is a must try. The wine list is limited to just their own brand, don't expect to order any other vintages. They do provide recommended pairings on the menu for each offering. Cons: the service was friendly but ssslllooooowwww. The after dinner coffee was almost cold, room temperature at best. I would definitely try this place again.
My wife and I really enjoyed dining here on a Friday night. The service was great, and found that the menu offered a unique detail: the food had "Bin #s" beside it to reference its wine pairing on the wine menu which made choosing a wine very easy. The food was ultimately great and the wine was fantastic (I highly recommend the red wine flight).

Wait staff friendly and accommodating. Frequently checked with us to assure satisfaction. Recommended various libations and dishes. Relaxing atmosphere. Food was a bit pricey but where isn't it nowadays. Chinese chicken salad plate was great. Burger cooked to perfection. Chicken burger tender and juicy. Fries were crisp on the outside, moist on inside. Onion rings were plentiful and tasty. Starter pretzel bites and dip was delicious.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar in Gilbert, AZ, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The ambiance is modern and inviting, with a casual yet sophisticated vibe that makes it perfect for any occasion. I decided to try the California Burger bowl and paired it with their refreshing peach lemonade. The California Burger bowl was absolutely delightful! It featured a perfectly cooked burger patty on a bed of fresh greens, topped with avocado, tomato, cucumber, and a tangy vinaigrette that tied all the flavors together beautifully. The ingredients were fresh, and the combination was not only delicious but also felt healthy and satisfying. The peach lemonade was a real treat as well. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, making it a refreshing complement to my meal. It was clear that the lemonade was made with real peaches, adding an authentic and delightful flavor that elevated the entire dining experience. The service at Zinburger was top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were refilled promptly and checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. In addition to the excellent food and service, the restaurant was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming. It’s clear that Zinburger takes pride in maintaining a high standard of quality across all aspects of their restaurant. Overall, my visit to Zinburger in Gilbert was nothing short of fantastic. The California Burger bowl and peach lemonade are highly recommended, and I can't wait to return to try more of their delicious offerings. Whether you're looking for a great spot for a casual meal or a special night out, Zinburger is the place to go. Five stars all the way!
The burger was salty. Gluten free bun was good. First time there and really liked the place. Casual. Employees seem to enjoy helping the guests. That's always nice. Server and staff knew gluten free. Fries were gf... Made in separate fryer. But over all the place was very good. We will go back sometime.

I really like this place, but was expecting more. They have great food and atmosphere, but the service really depends on who you get. Some servers are amazing and some are just OK. I haven't been there for a year or two so I always ask for advise on things like the mash potatoes. WOW I had forgotten how plain they were, but it's disappointing when I ask questions and the answer is "everything is amazing". Subjectively some people like them one way and some don't. I was really trying to get information. If you like super plain mash potatoes, then you will love these! I only took one little bite and didn't want to make a stink about a side of potatoes because I also had the risotto. She didn't care or ask why they weren't touched, and was in such a hurry didn't notice my drink was empty and had been for a long time. However, I have been there and the service was top notch, so I'll leave it there. On the positive side of things, I would recommend the calamari planks. OMG they are to die for!
I had a wonderful dining experience! The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The seafood was absolutely delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection. While the drinks were just average, everything else more than made up for it. The ambiance and the quality of the food made the visit worthwhile. Just a heads-up: expect to spend a pretty penny, but in my opinion, it’s worth it for the overall experience. I’ll definitely be back!
First time at High Tides, we saw this on Check Please Arizona and decided to check it out since we were on this side of town. Very excited to hear they’re opening one on the West side. Highly recommend! Sufficient options for any pallet.

First time here and we will be back. This is a very large restaurant with a large patio looking on Gilbert Ave. There is a parade at the back with dedicated parking for restaurant guests. One of the picture shows the painted sign on the floor. Reservations are recommended since this place fills up at supper time. We were a party of six and all of our entrees were served in large bowls except for the fried chicken entree. I had the Peking Duck and shrimp on rice. A nice spicy hot mixture of flavours that worked well. Beer is priced well but please note the wine and cocktails by the glass are expensive. $16.50 for a glass of wine is too much in my opinion. We did enjoy our meals and the service was perfect. The place gets noisy when filled and and lighting is dim so be prepared. My cost with my wife’s meal plus 2 beers and 2 wines was $107 with a 18% tip.
Big shout-out to Lawrence in the kitchen for making hands down the best breakfast sandwich to ever exist. My taste buds won't be forgetting that amazing meal in a long time! We visited here on a Saturday morning for brunch around 10:30am. Very fast service, no wait time, and attentive staff. Our waitress Samantha was very kind and easily reachable any time I had a request. We both got the Sicilian lemonade stand and I had the breakfast sandwich while my partner had the shaved prime rib dip. The lemonade was pretty sour! I like my lemonade sweeter but my partner loves his sour and he really enjoyed the drink. He said his meal was pretty good, the horseradish wasn't over powering, the meat cuts weren't fatty, and the flavors were great but the bread itself didn't compliment the sandwich well. He felt it needed a more denser bread to help soak up the flavors of the broth and meat without falling apart. My sandwich was heaven. The hash brown was crispy, it wasn't too try or wet, and the potatoes on the side were also cooked crispy but flavorful. The spicy mayo it comes with was too spicy for my mouth to handle but I received it on the side and the parts I did pare it with definitely elevated the flavor of the sandwich. 10/10 for this breakfast. Will definitely want to come back to try their other items after how amazing that one was.
Great place to eat! The pretzel fondue is the best. Unfortunately this time the pretzels were not as fresh as usual and pretty much had no salt. Their stake frites is tasty! Wife had the salmon and enjoyed it. Waitress never brought straws after asking for them, so grabbed our own. Overall we typically have a great experience here.
