This is a lovely gem! The food is delicious and well done. We all got something different and everyone loved their food, from the flat bread pizza, to the chicken Parmesan sandwich with crispy fries and a salad to the Hungarian goulash . The portions are generous too! The owners name is Svetlana and she puts thoughtful care into every dish served. This is no chain, it is a culinary experience that you must enjoy!
We had the pleasure of accidentally discovering this gem of a spot while passing through Camp Verde while traveling around Arizona. We couldn’t believe our eyes - to see our familiar Eastern European comfort foods on the menu was amazing! We decided to come by for dinner and Astoria did not disappoint. The owners are incredible friendly people - we spent the evening chatting. The food was delicious and tasted just like home! They create a cozy welcoming atmosphere. There is also a nice patio but we decided to stay inside that night. Service was quick and for a Monday they weren’t too busy. If we are ever back we would definitely pop by and highly recommend it!
We have been at Astoria for the first time for dinner and the food was fresh, tasty and colorful! Service was excellent. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner! We will definitely be back!

Hoping we just went on a bad day. This place was highly recommended, and we were passing through on our way north. I ordered their roast beef and my husband ordered the meatball. Sandwiches were served on cheap hot dog buns, my roast beef was gray, the meatballs were flavorless. My sandwich was served with a lukewarm piece of Swiss cheese and a questionable sauce. I didn’t finish my sandwich, but the kettle chips did not disappoint. My husband ate all of his, had the worst food poisoning he’s ever had. Great start to our vacation. The staff was prompt and friendly, the beer was good, stay far away from their food. 2 stars instead of one because the beer was good and that’s their specialty.
We found Verde Brewing Company while visiting the area to see Montezuma's Castle & Well. What a refreshing & delightful place! The food was wonderful & the beer was unique & cold. So glad that we found our way there.
Was driving on I-17 from Phoenix to Flagstaff and decided to stop when I saw the sign on the interstate exit. Glad I did—great beer, super-friendly staff and enjoyed the traditional nachos with pork. A hidden gem worth a pit stop!

Nothing but attitude. 3 times I was told my meal came with something I did not understand. 3 times I asked what the thing was, and three times she only repeated that my meal came with it with increasing frustration towards me every time the woman repeated herself. But never once did she answer my question. All I wanted was a meal without bread so I needed to know if I could eat the thing, but they made the process so much harder than it needs to be because of the attitude and speaking way too fast. Do yourself a favor and drive another couple miles south to the polite and friendly drive through. Their food is great. I only wanted to give this place a try because they are right around the corner from me. But I have one rule, I never let imbeciles cook my food.
The staff is super friendly and attentive. We got chips and salsa, the salsa was really good. Service was fast. We tried sopapillas as dessert, included with the fajitas meal, they were delicious. The other food we order was ok, nothing extravagant but good. The tamal was a little spicy for my child. But definitely great staff, I was impress with how attentive everyone was.
We have been driving by this place for the last year and finally decided to stop for lunch. I ordered the #1 lunch combination, which came with a cheese enchilada and a taco. Hubby ordered the #3 lunch combination, which came with a burrito, enchilada style, and a taco. Both combinations included rice, beans, and sopapilla. Great food and great service.

On our way home from Flagstaff and the kids were hungry. I took the I-260 exit from the I-17 (forgot the exit number, but business is located on north east sector of exit) as we saw signs for multiple eateries. Kids decided on trying Flew the Coop. They made a good choice. Friendly and polite staff. Food came out hot, fresh, and tasty. Z chose the fried chicken Ceasar salad and D opted for the mild chicken tenders, both orders came with fries/wedges. I had their sweet potato tots. Z was so happy with his salad, and it was the perfect size for him. D opted for the tenders and we were surprised when they came out as they were larger than what she's used to eating as a serving size. Not only that, at first she was hesitant about eating them as she thought they were spicy, it's just the color of the seasoning. She ended loving them; however, she couldn't finish as they were a bit to big for her. For me, the tots hit the spot just right. The nice thing about this establishment is that as you enter, you order your regular hot meals at the counter. Then, they have another section of the store that serves their frozen deserts and has a slightly different vibe, yet it's the same business.
The good was absolutely magnificent. I loved the sandwich and even the fries were the finest. I love out of state, but sure anytime I’m around, I’ll try to eat in this place again. Prices are also very low compared to the high quality products you’ll get.
Oh yes finally a true Nashville hot chicken experience. We're from Nashville and this is the best I've seen. Had the small chicken sandwich hot. Spice was perfect, nice burn. Spice is in the crunchy batter (it's in the oil in Nashville) but batter was good and chicken juicy. Fried okra oh yes just excellent with a homemade ranch for dipping (perfect). Pineapple coleslaw was better than regular and I don't usually like pineapple but it wasn't overwhelming, just nice sweet flavor which balanced the spicy. Want to try the fried pickles next time, looked good at another guys table. They also have Chicago hot dogs and chicken salad sandwich for the spice averse, and ice cream! Absolutely will return. In fact can't wait. Wish I'd found this place earlier. We ate at a fast food last time thru Camp Verde and could have eaten here!! My new number 1 on 17 North!!!

Beto's is the best! We are gringo sauce-snobs, and LOVED every bite! Great price, service, speed and grub. Take and bake enchiladas and chili rellenos available. There's a Stuffed sopa or burritos for every one!
Taco salad with shredded beef was very good. Comes with salsa and guacamole. The drive-thru is easily accessed. Price for 2 ground beef tacos and 1 shredded beef taco salad with a small drink was approximately $21.00
My boyfriend and I were desperate to find a restaurant (not a chain!) that was open on a Monday and where we could eat outside with our well-behaved dog. Beto’s Corner saved us! The taco salad and chili rellenos were delicious and filling. And our server, Anna, was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Perfection! Amazing!! I am from Texas and the brisket here was absolutely delicious! And cute atmosphere too! Don’t hesitate! Stop here!
My first experience there a few years back was stellar. The food and experience were awesome. This last weekend not so much. While the service was good, the brisket sandwich was terrible. The brisket was seriously undercooked, rubbery and fatty. It was mostly inedible. I gave most of the meat and fat to my dog since I couldn’t chew through it and essentially paid $15 for a grilled cheese sandwich. As a staple on their menu, they really need to find someone that can properly smoke a brisket.
What a great time we had with family in Camp Verde, AZ. If you come for a visit to this friendly little town, do not miss Babe's Round Up. My family raved about their brisket and even ordered seconds! I enjoyed the grilled chicken and sweet potato fries. The staff is excellent, kind and friendly. We are so happy we found this little gem. Camp Verde is such a nice small town. Isn't this a great country? America the beautiful, full of patriots and great BBQ!

Popped by for a coffee and a quick breakfast on Columbus Day - the only shop open on that Monday. Service was relatively quick and friendly. We sat out back on the patio which had a great view and no people! Waffle was delicious and eggs and gravy was something new to us but we enjoyed it too! For two Canadians it was a cultural experience in itself and we enjoyed it. We were told all the baked goods are made by the owner - they looked great too and if we’re ever back in town we’d definitely stop by. There’s also a shop at the front with all sorts of trinkets and miscellaneous items and art pieces.
Looked for a breakfast restaurant and found Udderly Divine .. and it was divine! Sat outside and enjoyed the view and food. Husband ordered the breakfast sandwich and he picked a hamburger patty .. now he knows burger and eggs don't go together, for him. I ordered the half breakfast bowl but when Melanie explained that sausage gravy will come on it we switched to the half breakfast plate! Everything was seasoned very well, the restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. If we were staying long we'd be back!
They were really busy when I came in, and even though I was by myself and they had multiple tables with large groups seated I was still given as much attention as the full tables. The people working all looked really happy to be there and were having a great time with the guests. This place really has a family atmosphere, even if you're not a regular. The food was really good too. I got the special of the day which is a jalapeno popper burger and I really liked it. The home made mac'n cheese is excellent as well. They also have a nice little mercantile with lots of cool items to shop, as well as an ice cream parlor. I really like the atmosphere here and look forward to their coffee shop being open soon.

We stopped here on our way back from Out of Africa, and let me tell you, I was a little disappointed with the food. The atmosphere was really nice and vibrant, the service was good. The food was not the best. Portion was small, and the flavor was not on point. In the picture, it shows a mole enchilada, but that was not mole to me. It was more like chile rojo/salsa. Would I try this place again? The answer would be no.
It was a great service. I got the Trio enchiladas with rice and beans. I am a huge fan of enchiladas, and this dish needed a little more seasoning for my taste buds. My husband's burrito lacked at every aspect. Minimal amount of meat.lacked seasoning. To much pinto beans whole. The tortilla got soggy, really bad. In the end, he ate the burrito with a fork. Any Mexican burrito should not be eaten with a fork!
La Casita a is the cutest Mexican restaurant. The food is amazing and the portions are large!! I ordered the Pollo Fundido. It was delicious. My friend ordered the Carne Asada tacos. She said this was also amazing. I highly recommend La Casita to anyone coming to Camp Verde, AZ.

Got into town at seven or so and by the time we were ready to eat, it was closer to eight, but not quite. The (cough) concierge told us that there were a number of places open on Main street, but this just wasn't true, and we were on foot, too tired, and it was too cold to spend a lot of time doing reconnaissance, but the town was shut down. A small Mexican restaurant winked down a side street. The only place that was open on Main was Moscato's, and as we peered through the front windows like peasants in a Russian novel, I was astonished at the high tone and decoration of the place. It appeared out of place in this self-consciously rustic town, the restaurant had stumbled in here on its way to Scottsdale or Palm Springs. And we looked like crusty prospectors. But the staff was incredibly welcoming, and at our table we were flanked by a large vacationing aristocratic family from Mexico City on the one side and a foursome from Sedona on the other, who had driven down specifically for dinner at Moscato's. And what a meal we had! Excellent service, and the Sicilian style Italian with the freshly made sausage, a real Caesar salad (anchovies and all), and amazing pasta... this place was outstanding. When looking at the menu I thought it would be ridiculous to pay these kind of prices, but when I'd finished, it seemed not only reasonable but a great deal for the quality meal we had. A true find.
Experience the best of Verde Valley at this hidden Italian gem! Located near exit #287 on HWY 17, this restaurant impresses with its mouth-watering dishes, extensive wine selection, and cozy ambiance. While beer enthusiasts may find the selection lacking. The new, larger location can accommodate more guests and still maintains its charm. Don't miss out on this culinary hotspot, and remember to reserve your table ahead of time! Just Bravo! On our next visit, we will photograph the menu and food for social media. We recently tried their beet salad and gnocchi with Italian sausage, which was part of their specials. We highly recommend their house-made Italian sausage, which we always order whenever we dine there.
While passing through Camp Verde my husband and I randomly pulled into their parking lot following a whim. We were in hiking clothes, so upon entering I asked the host if we were dressed okay. It's a beautiful restaurant that leaves an impression. They were very gracious about our attire. It would be the best place to dress up for date night though:) Our server was very knowledgeable and professional. We ordered their special calamari which also had fried scallops and shrimp. It was amazing and a very large portion. Too much for 2 people but perfect for 3 or 4. After going over their extensive wine list we landed on a dry reisling. So perfect for our tastes. They brought out a beautiful standing cold bath for the bottle. Our meals were amazing!! They home make the focaccia bread, pasta, and Italian sausage all in house. It sounds silly but even the bathrooms are beautiful. Sometimes that feels like an after thought, but no details were missed here. Pics dont do it justice. We will be back.

The most beautiful woman with the most beautiful jewelry and pottery made by her family! The gentleman making the fry bread was so kind and the fry bread was delicious! I had one of each kind! I definitely recommend if you're ANYWHERE in Arizona! Worth the drive! I'll definitely be back!
Came here not knowing what to expect. It's a small establishment which servers some jewelry and fry bread. He said it will take 15 mins for a fry bread and gave it within 5. You can do half and half. We did salt and honey and really liked both. They also have other toppings but everything was sold out by the time we reached. Usually is open between 11 to 4
Absolutely make it a point to stop here if you are in the area. Fry Bread is a must try while in Arizona, and this is one of the best places to do so. The two proprietors here are so friendly and fun to chat with while waiting for the fry bread to be made. As you can see in the photo there are options to add cinnamon/powdered sugar, honey, and salt for sweet fry bread. Very reasonable price and most definitely enjoyed being able to support this veteran. Would love to come back and try the taco style!
