Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Sunrise – 2024

As a mom, I’m always on the lookout for a place where I can enjoy good food without spending a fortune, especially when I’ve got the kids with me. Yard House during happy hour? Total win! I took my kids and met up with some friends for an early dinner, and I was seriously impressed. The happy hour deals are *so* good! The prices are super reasonable, and the portions were bigger than I expected. We got to try a bunch of different dishes, and everything was delicious—way more food than your typical small bites. The vibe was great too. Even with the kids, it felt relaxed and fun, and the service was awesome. The kids were happy with their meals. Yard House is definitely going to be a regular spot for us. If you’re looking for great food, generous portions, and awesome prices, check this place out!

Did what a lot of people do before a Panthers game. Food was good, Lily was great, along with her team behind her. The service was fast and great. 114 beers I believe she said. Over for sure. Great place to go before an event at the Arena. Or anytime.

This place is slammed packed with patrons even at the bar and that may be due to Happy Hour. The sliders were amazing even with no condiments. The fries were piping hot and freshly cut. Lemon drop martini was made to perfection as well. Food was great and my bar buddies made it even better; nothing but talk and laughter. This was a good after work before concert meal choice.

Ate here for the first time today. My family and I came in for brunch. This place is really cool onside decorated up like a true florida beach bar. Live music everyday starting at noon till 3am. The fish dip was the nest I've ever had and the other dishes I sampled were also great. Most notable was the service we received. We received superior service here from all the staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone in town.

If you like Dim Sum this is a great choice there were over 40 options. Not much description on the menu though. Peking duck was excellent and the beef and broccoli was outstanding. Very attentive service. Decor was like an eating Hall, just one large open room not broken up by booths or walls.

Didn't expect anything phenomenal but still left disappointed. Lived across the street for 7 years and for some reason, never been here and I guess that was for good. Saw good reviews here but still didn't have any high expectations for the place. Unfortunately, even little expectations haven't been met. Started pretty good, seated outside, placed an order. The owner of the place (according to him) came to our table to greet, said we should try samples of their appetizers and he will send it to us. And that's when the good start ended. One of the items in our order got lost somewhere, and my 7-year-old son had no food until we reminded the waiter and got his dish when everyone else had already finished their meals. And instead of lightly breaded grouper that we ordered, they brought grilled grouper. The biggest issue, though, was the whole snapper we ordered. Fish wasn't fried. Fish has been cremated. Extremely overcooked, very hard outside, very dry inside, and absolutely no flavor since no seasoning at all. And that was $64 for fish we didn't eat even quarter of. Very disappointing experience. And BTW promised appetizer samples never made it us. After we've paid the bill, I've asked one of the waitress ladies if I can chat to the owner, just wanted to give him a heads up (I am as business owner myself always eager to get direct feedback from my clients). But he never showed up. Didn't want to argue with anyone since waiters were nice and it was late but won't be coming back and won't recommend ordering fried fish here.

The food was absolutely fabulous as you would always expect from a season 52. The reason I had to give it four instead of a five is because of the service. They made a huge deal because I wanted to change the side from potatoes to snow peas. What?!? They said it was pre-portioned for only the sea bass and they couldn’t do it. They even had involved a manager and everything. Eventually, I just said forget it because it was not that deep. I go to Seasons 52 almost every week in Orlando and it has never been a problem to just switch out the vegetable. Other than that, the ambience was great and establishment was very clean. The wine selection is massive. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the pork chop and it is grilled to perfection and juicy and tender throughout each bite. The salmon is also very well flavored and delicious and juicy throughout each bite. I highly recommend and will definitely come again. And as a reminder, the food at Seasons 52 is actually healthy and delicious at the same time.

I’ve seen this restaurant while at Sawgrass mall but never took time to visit. I must say that everything about this restaurant gets 5 stars!! My server, Justin, was the absolute best and suggested that I try the shrimp and grits; it was the best I have ever had!!! What made it different is the grits wasn’t thick, there were plenty of shrimp, and flavor was unique. I couldn’t stop eating it. The restaurant is very nice inside and out. There are fans outside and heaters on ceiling for cooler weather. The restroom and entire restaurant was super clean. I highly recommend this restaurant if in the area.

Everything here is honestly so amazing. This is my first time ever coming here and it will not be my last. My friend and I walked in and noticed how great it smelled, we knew the food was going to be good. After being seated we met our server Tricia and she was so nice. She made sure we got our food ASAP and she was fast and efficient. She made our experience 10x better. The pricing for the quality of food is really great too. The dessert was so delicious and ONLY $3.50. We will absolutely be recommending this place to our family and friends.

This Place is fantastic... great... extraordinary... unique... it has a thematic presentation that makes you feel like you are in a Zoo, the visual and auditory experience is excellent. In this Caffe Restaurant, Bar and Store it is to live an experience of another level... the children enter and do not want to leave, even us adults are hypnotized by the wonderful exhibition... Without a doubt highly recommended to spend a time of happiness in the best Rainforest Cafe style. Thank you very much congratulations to all the staff, they are great and super creative. ✨️

Huge portions for the price. Chicken is super dry. Service was slow. Atmosphere is unmatched. Careful with young kids, my little one was scared everytime the animatronics went off.

Rainforest Cafe at Sawgrass Mills Mall is such a fun and unique dining experience! We really enjoyed our recent visit there. The jungle-themed decor, complete with lifelike animals and thunderstorms, makes it feel like an adventure for the whole family. The menu offers a wide variety of tasty options, from burgers to seafood, and everything we've tried has been delicious. The staff is friendly and great with kids, adding to the memorable experience. I ordered take out and am so impressed with the quality of my meal. Literally everything on my plate was absolutely perfect and delicious. The chicken and steak - perfect. The broccoli, carrots, rice, and even sweet potatoes were delicious. The cornbread - amazing. Great quality food here. Cannot wait to order from here again and try more things.

We had my father's 75th birthday celebration here this past Tuesday. First, Germaine was so helpful in making sure we had the best location for our family. We selected the barrel room and could not have been more satisfied. The ambiance was perfect. Then we had Mary, who went above and beyond for our family. She was so sweet, and made sure to check in to see if we needed anything. The food came in a timely fashion. It was so nice, my mom and her girlfriends are planning to return for their first Saturday lunches. Thanks, Matchbox!

My second time visiting this restaurant and the experiences was amazing, From the appetizers to the dessert they were delicious. Our Waiter was Kenny and we loved his atención, but especially his kindness and good energy. I really recommend the place, the manager Will was Aldo very gentle and kind to us. I will surely return very soon.

Worst food I've ever had and paid for. I was shocked at the lack of vegetarian and vegan options and more shocked that it was literally the most disgusting food my party has ever consumed. The black bean burger and the vegan cheese (daiya) on pizza was literally the nastiest food, especially for such an upscale joint. What a waste of money! The only plus was the service. But it's food that you'd want to drink to forget. Unfortunately, when you don't want to waste food, you try to eat as much as you can. We also got the watermelon lemonade. The most sour and yucky drink ever. Sent it back. How do people approve of this menu???

Last evening, after shopping at Sawgrass Mall, we stopped in at Grand Lux for dinner. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful and luxurious the interior is! The food was delicious. I ordered the Turkey & Brie Sandwich with fries. It was just what I wanted. My daughter ordered the Shirt Rib Grilled cheese with sweet potato fries and loved it! Gloria was our server and she was very nice and attentive. She kept our water glasses filled. We also shared the Asian Nachos, which were yummy. For dessert, we shared the Warm Rustic Apple Pie. Omg, that was so good!! We will definitely be back again. Parking was right by the restaurant. We had a good time.

This place is as large as its name suggests. Our server was very helpful, and the food exceeded my expectations. For appetizers, we had asian steak tacos — the taste was fantastic. The Salisbury Steak was outstanding. Additionally, the tables and chairs are old-fashioned and dark, which, combined with the dim lighting, makes the atmosphere less visually appealing, especially during the day.

My wife and I visited for brunch. The experience and atmosphere were great. The chicken and waffles meal is extremely delicious. The waitress was very pleasant and easygoing. I highly recommend it and are planning on returning sooner rather than later.

I had an incredible experience at this location! Robbin, our waiter, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was exceptionally nice, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Her warm personality and excellent service truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and outstanding customer service. Bahama Breeze is always a good time. Majority of the food was good, but we did not like the sweet potato mash nor the spinach dip. The Spinach dip was more dip than spinach and returned it right away.

One of my favorite casual dining, family restaurants, with a few favorites like their jerk shrimp, coconut shrimp and baby back ribs. Their Caribbean inspired dishes are tasty and perfected with their citrus flavored sauces. Their Mango Man, non-alcoholic mango drink is the best restaurant mango drink that I have had. Not everything on the menu is great, so you have to be selective. And some of their best items, like the crispy onion rings are no longer on the menu. But there is enough there to keep it on my rotation of go to restaurants.

Apropo Crepes at Sawgrass Mills offers fresh ingredients like meat and shrimp, but the crepe itself falls short on flavor and can be difficult to hold while eating. The positive aspects include a clean and well-maintained space along with friendly, attentive service. While the experience was pleasant overall, improvements in the crepe's texture and taste would enhance the offering.

Their menu offers a delectable array of crepes, but the true standout is the Superb Cheesecake Each bite reveals a rich, velvety texture that melts in your mouth delivering a harmonious blend of flavours. What truly sets the superb cheesecake apart is the use of high-quality ingredients and the evident care put into its preparation even though I was taking out. This definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Can't wait to return.
