Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Altamonte Springs – 2024

We came to Vida Cocina & Tequila for dinner in a party of four. The moment we approached the restaurant we could tell why people rave about it. The atmosphere is very lively, upbeat and quite social media-friendly (which can be a good or bad thing). The staff were very friendly and the service was efficient. The drinks and appetizers were delicious and substantial. However, the mains, even though they were tasty as well, didn’t raise the bar anymore. Overall, it’s a cool place to hangout and enjoy some Mexican-inspired cuisine as long as you’re OK with the youthful vibe and non-traditional food.

Although we did have a ridiculous amount of wait time and the seating for a large reserved party was off in the beginning once we were seated properly everything else flowed. The staff worked as a team and our server Blanca did her thing effortlessly with a smile. Complements given to the manager, chef and team members for a job well done. The aesthetics of the atmosphere is picture worth. The food is prepared fresh, good to taste and produced quickly. This is my second time eating here and I will definitely be back. They are located in the heart of Altamonte Springs right off the exit and they do have valet service.

Marisol was our server tonight and she was absolutely amazing. She was quick and efficient and was the sweetest and most attentive waitress. Food was amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. If your want some real good food, come here. Atmosphere is very upbeat. Everyone is friendly. Thank you Marisol for a great dinner!

It was a unique restaurant with lots of fun art to view. The food was good, the service was good. Hurricanes are premixed so if you have an allergy, they can't make a hurricane for you, which stinks, but they have other options. Chicken & waffles were good, I've had better, but still tasty. The shrimp pasta was flavorful. The fried pickles were perfect! Crisp and delicious, not soggy, just perfect!

Outstanding food and really great service! I was there with a large group and the restaurant was very accommodating! Portions were great and the wall art is amazing. Make sure to get the shrimp and grits. My sandwhich was great but I tasted the shrimp and it was the best. Also don’t miss out on the onion rings: outstanding!

Everything is delicious and that's no exaggeration. EVERYTHING is DELICIOUS! flavorful! Service is on point and quick very welcoming. Cool jazzy atmosphere. It feels like I'm going to a whole new world. The seasonal menu knocked my socks off. Love the specialities and drinks! Super delicious honestly wasn't expecting it. Recommend everyone to try!

First time for an early lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was practically empty. No wait to be seated. The atmosphere was pleasantly designed and the booth seating was roomy. The waitress was very attentive. Ordered combo with 1/2 lb crab legs and shrimp. Prices were reasonable. Order came within a short period of time. Came out in a full blown bag and a bowl as I had asked for the sauce on the side. Shrimp, crab, potatoes and corn were delicious. We were also provided with the right tools to enjoy our meal. Bathrooms were very clean. I would definitely come back

Great portions but I just wasn't a fan of the flavor. We ordered the family meal that comes with crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, etc. The seafood was top quality and great looking. The sauces just weren't tasty though. I got the mixture of all the sauces with fire heat. It was very oily and not very well spiced. It was barely hot and was pretty much just greasy.

This is worth the drive. Lots of parking easy accessibility and we'll lit. Plenty of seating and large booths. Good atmosphere and music. They do have a bar as well. Easy menu, a little pricey. However, you get a ton of food, and it tastes great. Service was great at the end, though they forgot we were there. But we will go back again soon Kid friendly Highly recommend

Had a wonderful spontaneous date night! Our server, Evie, was spectacular and very patient when explaining the menu to us. Definitely coming back for another dinner! Food was delectable and made to perfection. We had the lamb loin and sea bass. Blood orange and cucumber cocktails. And to finish everything off, they display their desserts on a cute little tower!

The food and atmosphere was AMAZING. My only issue was our waiter was very impatient with us as my mother needed further explanation about the ingredients in her preferred entrees and unfortunately this particular waitress did not have patience with her elder, which was quite disappointing & lessened this experience with my mother. More than likely I would return, but I will not bring my mother as I do not want her to feel rushed when making a food selection or like she is being a bother when asking a food server about the menu's selections. It was a blessing for my mom to dine with us that evening, but her experience here could have been much better had we had a different waitress.

Food was delicious. I ordered some tacos. They were great! The only thing is that I found them a bit small and left a bit hungry, but the taste was great. Deff a meal to complement either with and entry or a dessert.

I do appreciate that all servers that pass by your table get you whatever you need. I just can’t get behind calling this place unforgettable because the tapas we got were underwhelming. Too many times we took a bite and thought, “This would be good if it didn’t have so many overpowering flavors,” i.e. too much ‘bleu cheese butter’ on the tenderloin, also too much peppercorn… too much tapenade on the bruschetta… I feel like there’s so much potential in the tapas here. I’d like to return to try their brunch which I included a pic of the menu. For 4 tapas a mix of hot and cold, and a Dr. Pepper and w paid $70something with the tip.

My husband and I went to dinner here and it was phenomenal. Lea was our server and she was polite and the service was great. We decided to get a few hot tapas and bread service. The food was quickly brought to us and the flavors and quality were excellent. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere, food and management are all amazing and I’ll definitely be back.

Altamonte Springs location is my favorite, very spacious, great ambiance, amazing vibe and the dining options are better. The bar is great location to people watch and chat with the bartenders. Please, GO EARIY!

Can’t say enough about this place. First time Going, and we will definitely be back. From the hostess all the way to server to ownership everybody with fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious.

Finally had a chance to try it after getting here too late a few times. It was pretty good! Just thought it would be better for a Stephano restaurant. It's good quality home style Italian for sure, just not as good as previous incarnations imo. They have all the usuals and a few from previous restaurants. Get there early or you'll be waiting a while. Place is small but cozy inside. Server and hostess were very nice. Food is definitely better than chain Italian, but this is supposed to be the best..

Our first time there and the hype was facts. the owners and the server were great. They helped us celebrate our birthday with delicious cannoli and singing Happy Birthday. The food was absolutely amazing! we will be back on regular now.

Rebekah was our server and she was so sweet! She was very attentive and answered any questions we had. The food was so yummy! We started with the cheese fries which were SO good! I had the burger bowl which was great and original, I loved the whole idea. My husband had the stuffing waffle with mashed potatoes and turkey and he loved it. Definitely will be coming back!!

First time visiting. Quick seating by Sharon. Sophia, our waitress was friendly and very courteous. Food was quick and hot by the cook. Managers visiting the quests and checking on the food and well-being. Love the atmosphere. Will be back for more happy eats.

Had a nice breakfast at this diner. I ordered the Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast and a Burger. The food was excellent. The only complaint I have is how dirty the diner was. Other than that, great place for a quick bite.

Linh and Kenji are the best. We eat here every single Saturday and we are never disappointed. The staff are super friendly, and the food is always booked to perfection. There’s always funny to eat and plenty of leftovers. The bathrooms are always clean and it really is our favorite place.

Lynn, kenji, and christiana what a beautiful experience me and my family had. From the moment we walk in all the way till the end was wonderful. The cook was funny and very friendly. Will come again most definitely

Joel and Vina were the best of the best. They had some difficult costumers and Joel and Vina handled it perfectly to make it a good experience for all . Food so good that I cant even describe it. Try it out for yourself and trust me you will want to go back the next day.

The “Annihilator” is hands down the best to me, my daughter and my sister! It’s always fresh, fulfilling and nutritious. It has such great combination of meats and veggies. We sometimes add an avocado and a boiled egg to it when we reach home, but it is an awesome dish with or without the add ons. I give Crepevine 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and two thumbs up! Keep up the great work!

I have only been twice so far, but the staff are excellent and the food phenomenal. Very courteous and mindful of food allergies. And for the meat eater I highly recommend the machine! Truth be told though, I don’t think you could go wrong with any option here. The prices are also very agreeable. It’s quite easy to fill up for under $20 a person.

Surprisingly good food! Fresh ingredients, quick service and delicious food. Nice atmosphere if you do dine in! Such a great experience with wife & good friends.

Had a great dinner! Stuffed dates and meatballs as appetizers, were both excellent. Our entrees were rigatoni and risotto based, also delicious. Outdoor dining on a breezy day was wonderful. Waiter was attentive and personable. Will be back

Good brunch spot. $16 bottomless mimosas, yes please! The brunch food was tasty, but probably not worth the $19-27 per plate. Typical brunch places you’ll leave absolutely stuffed afterwards, I guess these portions are smaller, but relatively the same price. We had a large party and had fun with the service and fun waiter. My daughter loved the French toast. I’d recommend Hamburger Mary’s or something like that for brunch overall, but it was fun to check it out and hang out with the family.

I recently visited Café Murano and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the restaurant is a popular spot, as it was quite busy. Despite this, the staff went above and beyond to find us a table as quickly as possible, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a relaxed meal. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service we received. Our waiter, even though he was juggling multiple tables, was incredibly attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and friendly demeanor really made our visit special. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was well-prepared and full of flavor, showing the kitchen's dedication to quality. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Café Murano delivers a dining experience that is both satisfying and memorable. I will definitely be returning!
