Refreshing Drinks and Flavorful Bites – A Perfect Lunch at Tap 42 I recently visited Tap 42 in Davie with my cousin, who was in town visiting, and I wanted to treat her to one of my favorite lunch spots in South Florida. We started with drinks – both of us ordered the Passion Fruit Paloma, which had a perfect blend of sweet and tangy from the passionfruit and ruby red grapefruit juice, complemented by the smooth Cazadores Blanco. The tan rim added a fun salty kick that balanced the sweetness. We also tried the Strawberry Paloma, which was equally refreshing, with a delicious strawberry twist on the classic grapefruit flavor. The Olmeca Altos Blanco tequila gave it a nice, clean finish. For the appetizer, I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and wow, it was more filling than expected! The Korean-style marinated chicken was juicy and flavorful, with a sweet soy glaze that had the perfect balance of sweetness and umami. The butter lettuce cups were crisp and fresh, making the wraps light yet satisfying. I ended up having just the wraps for my meal because they were so good and filling. For my entree, I took the Grilled Salmon Zen Bowl to go. It came with pan-fried brown rice, green veggie stir-fry, and a delectable truffle miso glaze that gave the dish a rich, savory depth. The toasted sesame added a nice crunch. I can’t wait to dig into it later! My cousin went for the Flame Grilled Chicken Wings with fries. She loved the wings – perfectly grilled with a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, complemented by the classic buffalo sauce. The blue cheese dressing was creamy and the veggies (celery and carrots) were a great touch. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was laid-back, making it a great spot to hang out with friends for brunch, lunch, dinner, or happy hour. Definitely one of my go-to spots for a casual but delicious meal!
