Picture that crazy southern, cigarette smoking, loving grandma and that’s the vibe you’ll get here from lisa and the environment. The food was very fresh and delicious! It’s a very small place but it’s clean, cold and welcoming! I would definitely stop back by when passing through again. We got the wee Willie burger One eyed Willie The bleu cheese burger All baskets and a side of cheese curds

They offer an enormous range of burgers, and I opted for the stuffed one – it was fantastic. I also tried the curly fries, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had a distinct vibe. The decor and the plates had a unique touch, with a theme that represents the country. The cost is around average, but I found it to be a worthy stop considering the experience and the quality of the food.

Great chili dog, and burger we had for lunch. The onion rings were good too! We were early so we missed the crowd and got a table. All around great lunch!

Pretty good food. I dislike eating at places that charge you for everything you order. Order a steak, you get a steak, no fries, no salad, no rolls. It is all extra. For 40 bucks throw in a few steak fries! Steak was cooked as ordered and it did have a very good garlic butter on top that added great flavor. It was in the lobby of the Delta hotel where we stayed so it was easy. Did dinner and breakfast both here while in town. Good food, but pretty pricey!

I really love Wichita Falls' new Marriott Delta Hotel and it's luxury, look from the inside out, but I really love they're a new restaurant that they have inside that is called Wellborn 2R Steakhouse & i have to say their food is very delicious, especially their humongous club burger sandwich as well. I recommend to anybody who wants to bring their families couples & friends to eat and drink at this luxury restaurant, but make sure you have a reserved resume and ,have enough money, that's this place. It can be pretty expenses, especially their $200 steak.

Food was very tasty and well presented. I enjoyed our service as he was friendly and knowledgeable about things. Even when my wife's meal was not right he was kind and helped with the issue. My steak was delicious and cooked very well. I enjoyed my asparagus even though I got 3 stalks for $6.00...the mushrooms felt like it should not be a side...who wants a pile of sliced mushrooms??? as a side vegetable...a topping for steak for sure...but a side is kinda weird, but they did taste good, just not what I was expecting. It is in a hotel and I think that hurts the ambience for what is billed as fine dining....overall a good experience and good food so We were happy but not blown away.

We stopped here during a road trip and had a great meal, very friendly staff and good portion sizes. I had to stop back a second time on our way out of TX for the cheese sticks!

I was told they are known for their cheese sticks, so I got a 1/2 order of those & it was enough for a meal. I also ordered the Catfish which was very tasty. My husband ordered the pulled pork burrito, which was huge & very tasty. My husband kept saying look at how much meat is in this thing. He's a big man & couldn't finish the burrito & didn't really eat but a few fries. The table next to us ordered the chicken fry & I can honestly say I've never seen a chicken fry that big, it hung over the plate. Jana was our waitress & she was phenomenal!! I told her I had seen the restaurant on a TV show & she was tickled she made my list of future places to try.

We had a delicious lunch. To say the portions were generous would be an understatement. The staff were amazingly friendly and kind. My drink was excellent as well. I would definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

We decided to try The Catch for catfish. We usually drive to Waurika, you know the place! The catfish at The Catch is cut way thicker but the flavor is there. Very nice fish! The fries and fried okra were excellent. My husband had gumbo and fried oysters. The gumbo was okay and he said the oysters had way too much breading but he ate them all! The star of the table was honestly the fried pickles. We devoured them! Overall it’s a good place to go if you’re craving catfish but don’t want to make the drive to Oklahoma.

Went in not knowing it was a chain. Employees were nice and friendly. The food came out relatively quickly. The grilled shrimp was great. Enjoyed the vegetables and beans. I didn’t care for the sauce poured all over everything but that’s just me personally. Large amount of food.

This place is awesome!! Stacy goes above and beyond for her customers, and Richard was super nice from our phone call to ordering. My hubby got the catch boil, he said it was amazing, and he is STUFFED my son got a pound of crab, he loved every bite!! I got the fried catfish, it was very taste and fresh. While we were eating our meal, an elderly couple came in and mentioned it was the wife’s birthday; and Stacy bought her meal Overall VERY satisfied, and we will be back!!!

Satiated. Good...tried not to judge it through the lens of having lived in Japan for 20+ years. Lol. Atmosphere good. Food could be tweaked some. Servers were excellent. Would return. Solid winter weather eats choice.

One of the best Asian restaurants in town or in the area!! Food is excellent, but best of all, their service are wonderful!! Super sweet and nice staffs. We love our waitresses - Ciara and Caitlyn. They are the best!!!! Definitely recommend to family and friends. Will definitely come by every time when we in town!! ❤️❤️❤️

Last week was one of the hardest days of my life! I planned my baby brothers funeral and planned to have everyone at my home after! There was no way I could have pulled it off with this 107 plus degree heat! A huge thank you to Pelican and Ann Kelly for such a wonderful atmosphere at such a tragic time! It could not have been more perfect!

Pretty decent place. Their ribeye was flavorful and the potato was just like any other. Our favorite dish was their Hot Honey salmon with Bacon Brussels Sprouts. Made the mistake of dinning here on what seemed to have been a very busy night for them although there was no wait for a table. Our server visited our table 3 times- for drinks, to take our order, and for the check. No drink refills and no one checked on us throughout the night. It was pretty good but probably won’t be back.

Fun atmosphere, great staff, food was fresh and to order but quite salty for my taste. Probably, perfect for the average American but I will be asking for light on the salt next time I go.

Prices are extremely reasonable ~ large portions!! Our appetizer "The Trio" was the bomb & would go back if ever in the area just for that , it definitely could be a shared as a meal all in itself.... It was NorthSide nachos, sampling of chicken dillas, & their famous gimongous fried cheese sticks. Hubs had CFS ,potatoes & house salad ~ I will say he was a Lil disappointed in the CFS after it being hyped as the best in the area but enjoyed & finished it all the same lol. I had the "Ultimate" a chili cheese dog with onion & jalapeños on top a bed of queso / chili french fries!! ( don't tell my cardiologist) But YUM!!

I usually do not leave a review unless it is something super special or if I would like for people to be aware of something. This time unfortunately nothing special happened except a shift Manger of the restaurant asked me to leave the dog outside or for me to leave with the dog, but the dog has to leave. Initially, the manager asked to place the dog under the table, then on the sit and finally she asked us to leave. Well, nothing person against the manager, but it is a summer time in Texas with a heat over 90F outside. The manager suggested for me to sit on a patio... a patio is an area of few metal tables located- by the trash can!!! And just sono one will say Health Department - there is no sign not allowing dogs on premisses. Moreover, the same manager said, if that would have been a service dog - then the dog can stay!!! And magically there will be no Health Department issue there! Hypocrisy, but who am i to say, i am just a dog owner. That is all I have to say about this place.

Went here numerous times on my last vist in May 2024, good beet selection, great taco specials, and huge portions of food. Staff was always nice and courteous.

It felt like I went back in time to where things were simple and good. No fuss or fancy, just good quality food at a fair price. The steak was spot on both in seasoning and temp. The fixins were just right. I'm glad I chose here and not the fancy steak house. This place brings back great memories of how our country used to be.

Caveat: We had a large group and I am only commenting on my order. Get the frog legs! They are crispy fried and delicious (and yes, they taste like chicken), but you don't need the ramekin of gravy they give you, which isn't so much gravy as it is the consistency of mashed potatoes without the potatoes. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it came out medium, but still tasted good. The sweet potato, after seasoning it with a healthy amount of salt and pepper was the best sweet potato I've ever had, so get that too. The asparagus was, on the other hand, the worst I've ever had and no amount of seasoning could save it. The toast was unnecessary and dry, but the solitary onion ring was fine. I also ordered an old fashioned cocktail, which was like a beginner's version of the drink, very watered down. It's a staple in Wichita Falls, but I have no doubt you can get a better meal plenty of other places. That said, you really should try the frog legs!

What an absolute GEM of a Steakhouse I loved the Old Timey Log Cabin Decor and the cool dark setting Steak was perfectly cooked and I was surprised by how tasty and juicy the fried zucchini was …. Dipped in ranch dressing of course… DUH

First time eating at this restaurant, definitely won’t be the last. Ordered medium rare steak with Heinz 57 steak sauce. Steak was so perfectly seasoned - never used the steak sauce. Side dishes of pinto beans, fried okra and fried mushrooms were off the charts. Our waitress was not only helpful and courteous but funny as well. Fantastic restaurant would be an understatement.

The steaks were good, not great! The sides were warm at best and when they brought out hot sides they didn’t taste good. Just spent $75 on a meal not even worth $40. I gave them 2 stars just because of the service and steak…you can clearly see in the photos the sides were replaced. Save your time and money.

One of my favorite date night or fun girl's night places to go in Wichita Falls! Never had a bad martini here, the food is delicious, and service is spot on. You cannot beat the prices either - great food and drinks at affordable prices. Highly recommend McBride's on Maplewood.

Great! Walked in on a chill afternoon and was greeted right away and seated. The menu was super simple but also effective! Everything looked delicious. I ordered the spanakopitas and that was impressive… but the gyro was where it was at! That hit the spot… I ordered another to go! I do wish it was slightly bigger but that could just be me being greedy! I also ordered the coconut syrup cake ! That was a treat and I got to try the tiramisu which was good! Highly recommend and I can’t wait till my next visit!

First, yes, I'm probably biased. However, i do mean it that this place is too good for this area. The atmosphere is really nice, clean, and themed. You won't forget exactly what kind of restaurant you're in. The service was amazing: friendly, welcoming, and considerate. I would come back purely just for the service. But also, the food was pretty great. The lamb was very good, the spanakopita was very nice. I just wish i would have had more items. One of the best dining experiences in the area. Even though it's not in the actual Wichita Falls main area, this is definitely worth driving the extra 4 miles and checking it out. For a good Greek experience, there's no beating this at least in the 50 mile radius.

Went here for the first time with my husband and a relative who came in town to visit. Each of us loved the food and we had a wonderful waiter. Plus, the building and gardens are beautiful. Making a reservation was easy, and they were so amazing to make accommodations for me with our seating due to physical health. As a vegetarian, I highly recommend the vegetarian pasta as well. All of us can't wait to go back!

In town to visit my son. We had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly.

I came here for an office Christmas dinner and wanted to share the wonderful experience I had with our waiter Royce! He was delightful, witty, professional, and very funny! If you have the honor of having him as your waiter then you are in for an amazing night! He was very attentive, fast, knowledgeable with the meals, and his recommendations were a hit all around the table! Also the food, drinks, dessert, etc were amazing. (The beef tenderloin was the best steak I've ever had). I will definitely be coming back, thank you for the amazing service!

Our first time to eat here , our waitress was very nice. She did a great job answering questions we had, she was very pleasant and check on us often. Menu has lots to choose from, hard to decide it all looked good. We had fried mushrooms to start , they were very good. My wife chose a grilled chicken salad she said it was very good, large portion. I had the fish and shrimp it was good . The shrimp was great , the fried fish was good , I just prefer mine to be a Lil more crispy and flake apart. The sides were great , the cheesy broccoli rice was very good . The hush puppies were very good too. Overall we were pleased with our meals, would like to try some of the other meals next ! Thanks again to our great waitress!

Good food for the price and friendly waitstaff. Love the fried green tomatoes so much that I forgot to take a picture of them.

Pam and I eat here regularly and the staff and food have always been top notch. I like the varied dinner menu selection and the managers always seem genuinely interested in our opinion. It's definitely one of our top 3 restaurants in Wichita Falls. You just can't go wrong.

My husband and I came here tonight for date night. We eat at Cheddars almost every night out. We started off with the cheese curds for our appetizer. They were delicious. My husband decided to try the T-bone steak, steamed broccoli and green beans. He ordered his steak, medium rare. The steak was chewy and had way too much pepper on it. The broccoli was good, and although they changed the green beans, they were good as well. I ordered the grilled whitefish with no seasoning , the red beans and rice and a Caesar salad. The red beans and rice were superb. Caesar salad was excellent. My grilled whitefish, however, had been overcooked slightly, which made it tough. Our waitress , Tana, was extremely nice and observant of our needs. Even though things weren’t top-notch like they usually are when we go to cheddars, it’s still one of our favorite places to go.

The food was ok but the service was superior. They were out of most things when we arrived around 9pm, which was a bummer. There was no spinach dip and they were originally out of croissants. The food was way too salty. The pork chops were ok but kinda dry and chewy on the ends. Natalie was our server and she was excellent.

Visiting from California, my wife and I were on the highway drove past here and saw the parking lot packed we both decided they must be good, so we turned around and went back lol, presentation of the restaurant is beautiful, however waiter we had was rude would leave the table before I can finish what I was telling him, once we were served he never came back to check on us, my wife ordered a medium well steak they brought us a well done steak, they took her plate back & the came back with a bloody raw steak at that point my wife didn’t eat it. I did enjoy the butter croissant and my full rack of ribs.

First time visitor. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and a beer. Tori was an excellent server who checked up on me multiple times and was very attentive. I had a German Pilsner beer and a Bricktown Grilled Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries. Food came out quick and hot. Absolutely delicious grilled chicken sandwich with plenty of flavor. If I return to Wichita Falls, I'll be sure to come back to Bricktown. I returned and tried the sandwich again. Just as good the second time. This will definitely be a staple when I visit in the future.

Update: We were four people dining here mid to late March. The taste of the Pizzas are GREAT - but this time they were not warm at all - and the soup my wife had was barely warm. Not a great experience. The service at the tables are professional and attentive. The drinks from the bar took 28 minutes from order to being served. So today we are dropping our rating from 5 to 3 stars overall - and dropping the food rating from 5 stars to 3 also. We recommend to get one more person in the bar - and make sure to serve the food while it is hot and freshly out of the oven. Update: We - a group of five - dined here early March 2024. It is still good food and drinks. Getting your drinks/cocktails can take a bit of time. I had a burger this time - also really nice and tasty. Former review; Great pizzas!! We always order and pickup. Have not dined here yet. But there is a nice selection of pizzas, and over time we have tasted most of them. Really great.

Great place for dinner! We went on a Thursday evening and there was no wait for a table, service was quick and attentive. I ordered the pork nachos and my partner ordered the blue cheese burger. The fries weren't anything special, but the burger and nachos were delicious! Their on-tap brews are fantastic, their shiner bock and blood and honey were delicious, highly recommend if you like wheat beers. Definitely recommend coming on a weeknight, we'll be back!

Place is not very popular, I don’t think. I’m not sure I’m not from Wichita Falls, but when we went, our service was really good. We got seated quickly and our food came out in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes, the Texas style scenery was amazing and the TVs had baseball games on and I think some weird show, I was really just fantasizing about food ... and when the food came it did not disappoint, and again the service was great. The lady who served us deserve a raise! She was the sweetest soul. We went on my mom‘s birthday, and she was really pleased by it (which is surprising because she usually wants something specific lol..) anyways thank you Backporch Drafthouse for being amazing.

This place has my heart! Excellent Food! Staff are soooo accommodating! Pet Friendly - they immediately got my pups water. Mixed Drinks were spot on! Prices… too good to be true… $ I would pay more for this combination of TLC any day. Thank you one and all for such a fine meal and experience

The food is good here. I had the barnyard freak and that was delicious. The beef patty was great and it was topped with pulled pork a little bbq special sauce and pepper jack cheese and a runny egg. So delicious! Service was good as well it was busy went during a rush and we had a 8 top server did great though. I'd like to go back and try more foods but this is a great place to check out for some good burgers.
