I’m surprised this place isn’t busier. The service was excellent - Jessie, Ricardo, and Johnny were incredibly friendly and attentive. There’s complimentary chips along with three options for salsas. We got the sampler (Capital Pack) and the suadero was by far the best, although usually our favorites are al pastor and sirloin. I’d say their corn tortillas are also a weak point - they didn’t seem fresh and were a little chewy and lacked flavor. The churro dessert however was unexpectedly delicious! Not our absolute favorite tacos in town, but we would go back for the service.
We got the capital pack and it was delicious! They served fresh and crispy chips with 3 different sauces until our food came just a few minutes later. Excellent food and excellent service.
Do not sleep on Taqueria Capital! It exceeded every single one of my expectations. The restaurant is clean, food is great and service is exceptional. Most authentic Mexican tacos I’ve had in SA! Este lugar me hizo sentir un poco más cerca de mi México querido, gracias Taqueria Capital!

We really enjoyed this place! I recommend sitting on the patio and people watching if it's a nice day. Our server was great and was very attentive and quick. We ordered some beers and I had the duck rolls which were so crispy and tasty. My boyfriend has the corn bread which was also very good. I think it's so cool that you can order booze to go and then walk around in San Antonio. This place has a takeout stand just for beer and wine to go so you can enjoy the areas around The Pearl! The food menu here looks bomb so we will be coming back for sure!
Wow!! This was our first time dining here and we were very happy with our decision. We started with the cornbread and deviled eggs, I highly recommend both. For entrees we did the fried chicken with the blue crab mac and cheese and goat cheese carrots. Everything was great, chicken fell off the bone and was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. We could not finish it was a lot of food. I’d recommend doing one appetizer and one side of splitting with someone as their portions are generous. Margaritas were delicious. Patio seating was great with the weather. Server was nice but slow, it was a Friday night but little things we had to ask for that I believe should be done without asking.
Southerleigh has always been one of our favorites when celebrating a life event. This past weekend was our anniversary so we treated ourselves! Everything was absolutely wonderful. Drink, food, atmosphere, and service! I definitely recommend getting a reservation. That way you aren't having to wait! If you're reading this because you didn't make a reservation, you can always grab a drink and wonder around the Pearl! Cheers!

This place is impressive, and wonderfully laid out. Open, yet private areas, for a semi-intimate evening. Wonderfully delicious food, fantastic plating, straightforward selections. Service is good, though I would expect to be patient when they're extremely busy. Take your time. Enjoy your night. Have a fruity drink, get the triple salsa and chips, pick your meat and get an associated plate, or stick to the La Fonda's special. Get the flan when you're done.
Amazing first experience here! Absolutely worth the hour wait (on the side patio with drinks) for a table outside under the live oak on a mild October evening. Everything was delicious, our server Josh H was perfect, and we can’t wait to come again. We loved the blood orange margarita, the steak tartar appetizer, and our main dish (more steak) came with delicious potatoes and a little guacamole. Just the right amount of food to share and finish with churros!
I decided to give this restaurant a try because of a coupon I got in the mail. It has a great reputation and for the most part it lived up to it. My husband and I both had the Enchiladas Verdes and thought the dish was pretty good. The chips were really, really good and at the end of the meal we asked for a container to carry out the ones we had left and they gave us an entire package of chips, which we ate on for days. Our waiter was very nice and took very good care of us. The drinks were on the small side but very tasty. Our waiter always made sure we had plenty of water in our glasses and the atmosphere was electric. We did make a reservation and it appears that was a good idea as they get very busy.
Crepeccino Café & Crêperie is a delightful culinary destination that brings a unique blend of flavors and experiences to its patrons. Nestled in the heart of the community,…
I was looking for a spot to get breakfast one morning, and Google sent me Crepeccino as a suggestion. The restaurant is awesome. The menu is extensive with an Italian flair. There is a huge selection of crepes, both savory and sweet, waffles, and other Italian dishes like spaghetti. Additionally, there is a varied selection of coffee based drinks to choose from. Everything we ordered was delicious. The restaurant is absolutely beautifully decorated and extremely clean. I want to return for a photoshoot and breakfast!!!
Myself and family members eat gluten free due to allergies. I love this place! I just recently discovered it and I've been back several times and it's one of my favorite places to bring family and friends! The staff is great. It's so lovely here. Tonight Freddy really went out of his way to make my dining experience awesome. Definitely check them out.
This place is a great place to have some breakfast and coffee. My son and I ate here 3 times in the first 6 days of our trip to San Antonio. Coffee is strong and tasty. My son love their strawberry crème waffle. We would both highly recommend.

This was my first visit and it was an excellent experience! From the 4D movie (I didn’t know how interactive it was lol), the observation deck and the best part was my dinner at the Charter House. My waiter, Jarvis, was absolutely magnificent! And the Old Fashioned he made was probably the best I’ve ever had. The food was fulfilling and delicious! The wait was very short too. The view is beautiful! I will be visiting again soon and I’m hoping to get Jarvis as my waiter.
The restaurant was nice. We went for lunch. The server was good but we were almost done eating when she came back to see if everything was ok. We ordered the fish & chips & the avocado bacon burger. The burger was so good, I was mad I didn’t order it. It was served with plenty of fries. On the other hand the fish & chips were not worth the price. Three pieces of cod & very skimpy on the fries. I was baffled that big juicy good burger was cheaper than the fish & chips, how? Cod? Next time we visit San Antonio we’ll have dinner instead of lunch & I know the view will be amazing. Parking is $15 which I would never understand. I have to pay to park at a restaurant????
The Chart House restaurant at the Tower of the Americas provides a truly memorable dining experience. From the moment we were seated, we were treated to stunning views of the San Antonio skyline, which only became more breathtaking as the sun began to set. We chose the set menu, which offered a well-balanced meal: a crisp, refreshing salad to start, followed by a choice between perfectly cooked steak or tender salmon, both of which were flavorful and expertly prepared. The meal concluded with a rich and indulgent chocolate dessert that was the perfect sweet finish. One of the unique aspects of the Chart House is that the restaurant slowly rotates, providing a 360-degree view of the city. During our visit, which lasted just under two hours, we completed two full rotations, allowing us to take in the scenery from every angle. The service was outstanding as well—attentive, friendly, and professional, which added to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a unique dining spot with incredible views, the Chart House at the Tower of the Americas is well worth a visit. The combination of great food, excellent service, and panoramic views makes it an unforgettable experience.

Today, for lunch, I had the Mediterranean salad. Y'all…..chefs kiss….THIS IS THE SALAD THAT SALADS WANT TO BE WHEN THEY GROW UP!!!! I hope it stays on the menu, but you can never go wrong with anything there. I love the crab cakes, and their brunch is so good and the bread basket is a must. Our serverwas fantastic, and he really sold me on that salad. Cappy's is a great place to go for a casual feel with upscale food and service. ❤️
Cappy’s is always a solid place to eat if you’re entertaining people from out of town. They have a wide diverse menu as well as a cocktail menu. I wasn’t a fan of the Cobb salad dressing and it didn’t include bleu cheese. The service is always fantastic here.
You have got to visit this place if you are in town. The food is impeccable. The salmon was cooked to perfection (medium well for me) and paired amazingly well with the lobster mash potatoes, which is its own beast. It was creamy with chucks of succulent lobster meat that just melted in your mouth. All of my colleagues, who ordered the salmon, devoured their plates as well. My other colleague opted for the crabcakes, which she thought was delicious. Additionally, the waitress was kind and attentive. Disclaimer: My colleagues and I ate very little, if at all that day, so I suggest visiting on a near empty stomach for the best or potentially biased food experience.

I enjoyed the overall experience. We ate outdoors which was hot but made it possible to get in on our schedule, so we didn't mind. They kept us well hydrated with cold water. The service was attentive and pleasant from the hostess to our server to all who supported the server in bringing out food. The appetizers were creative and visually appealing though the flavors of the oysters and hamachi didn't stand out very much. The bacon/pork belly(?) bits were my favorite part I think. The short ribs and mashed potatoes were delicious but the mushrooms seemed to have too strong of a flavor and I didn't appreciate the horseradish in the sauce but that's my personal preference. My friend found it delightful. For dessert, the butter cake was lovely both in flavor and presentation. I'd definitely like to have a full portion next time (I tried my friend's). The lavender cheesecake was pleasant. I don't usually enjoy flower flavors, but I enjoy cheesecake, blueberry and lemon curd, so I decided to risk it. The presentation was delightful, the lavender didn't dominate, but the cheesecake flavor didn't pop for me, so it was good but not great for me. Really a pleasantly situated restaurant with many highlights. I will say, I regretted not tipping more. I was a bit rushed and calculated slightly low for what I think was warranted for the situation and experience. Still well over "minimum" but just didn't think it through, so apologies to the servers on that.
This restaurant was a very nice experience. From the customer service to the food there was nothing I could complain about. At first the parking situation did put me off but I'd happily would've walked a mile to get to that restaurant. I …
