Backporch Drafthouse – Temple 11-16-24 Had lunch with my family. The atmosphere was nice. It has a bar setting with a separate dining area. It is a large room with lots of seating and plenty of TV’s. The food was good but lacked seasoning. The food was hot and fresh. We had: FRIED MUSHROOMS Beer battered crispy fried Mushrooms served with Buttermilk Ranch CRISPY FRIED PICKLES served with Homemade Buttermilk Ranch CHICKEN FRIED STEAK & EGGS Black Angus cubed Steak, two fried Eggs, house made Sausage Gravy and a buttery Toasted Biscuit served with Home Fries The biscuit was hot, fresh, and good! THE BIG DADDY* Buttery Brioche Bun, two Route 66 style Patties, Secret Sauce, American and Swiss Cheeses, Crispy Bacon, and roasted Jalapeño Bacon Jam Overall, it was a good meal and we enjoyed it. The food was served fresh and hot. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. We will be back. Be sure and try them! We all have good and bad days. Today was a good day!
