Cut and Bourbon is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the DFW area! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were beyond accommodating, attentive to every detail, and genuinely friendly—it’s clear they take great pride in ensuring every guest has an exceptional time. If you visit, do yourself a favor and start with the fungus mushrooms. This dish was an absolute standout! It’s a generous portion, easily enough to feed four people, and each bite is packed with flavor. I’ll admit I was shocked at how delicious and unique they were—rich, earthy, and perfectly seasoned. These mushrooms are a must-try before anything else. For my main, I tried the bison sirloin for the first time, and I couldn’t have been happier. Cooked to a perfect medium, it was moist, tender, and bursting with flavor. Unlike what you might expect from bison, it wasn’t gamey at all—it was simply delicious. Cut and Bourbon knows exactly how to prepare it to perfection. The crab cakes were another hit, light yet packed with fresh crab meat and just the right amount of seasoning. However, the real surprise of the night was the Brussels sprouts. They were easily some of the best I’ve had in the entire DFW area. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly caramelized, they’re a side dish I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. Trust me—you won’t regret ordering them! The ambiance here is perfect for a date night—intimate, cozy, and sophisticated. At the same time, it’s a fantastic spot to catch a game in style. If you’re visiting during football season, you’ll love the incredible bonus: the large Texas Live outdoor screen is directly in plain view from inside the restaurant. It’s the perfect mix of upscale dining and a relaxed sports vibe. Overall, Cut and Bourbon delivered on every level: exceptional service, incredible food, and a welcoming atmosphere. This was our first visit, but it won’t be our last. We’re already planning a return trip for Part 3!
