Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Tumbler Ridge – 2024

NEW OWNERS!!! No more horrendous owner from hell! Subway is back to its former glory. Super friendly staff, clean store, hefty helpings! Its amazing to be able to go to subway again. Tumbler ridge avoided subway at all costs with the previous owner... its nice to be able to enjoy subway again.

Ate a sandwich there a couple months back that made me never went to step foot in that subway again..rotten vetables, brown lettuce, stale bread, dirty... Heard there's NEW owners now though Hopefully can enjoy subway again.

They have a clean store. It’s really nice when you want to grab a quick lunch/dinner here. It’s the only fast food place here

I love all the foods that we ordered. Their ice cream, omg I miss them while writing this.

This has been a must stop for us for many years, every time we come to visit. We especially love the breakfasts and homemade cheesecakes. The staff are friendly and attentive, especially when we come with our young kids, and they have colouring supplies at the ready. The only hiccups we've ever had was with the occasional forgotten/delayed item when young school-age waitstaff were still learning the ropes, but they always had a great attitude and we're happy to see a small business supporting their young folks with work experience!

The portions are small and the food is fine, not bad and not great. But it sure beats surviving off nuts and raisins in the mountains. Picture shown is chicken burger for $15.

Stopped here for lunch on a quick trip to Tumbler Ridge. It's a cute little place with good food. Lots of parking in a large parking lot behind the restaurant. Kid friendly by the looks of things as there was a change table with diapers & wipes available in the washroom. There is also a dog dish outside with water for pets! With some chairs to sit outside if it's warm enough. The restaurant was clean as was the washroom! The place looks well maintained. I had lunch with my (adult son). He had one of the specials, turkey gumbo. It was like a turkey stew with rice served in a bread bowl. He said it was nice & full of flavor. His one complaint was that the bread was a bit dry. But overall he enjoyed it! I had the twisted chicken paninni with the loaded potato soup! I enjoyed both! It was a perfect pairing on a cool, windy day. The lady running the store was a fellow Maritimer! I was visiting from Nova Scotia & she is from Newfoundland! So that made for some pleasant conversation. She was also full of suggestions for us on quick things to do in the area & local spots to capture the best views!

Decided to check this place out for breakfast, and I was extremely pleased with the experience! I ordered the Twisted Flatbread Benny, and it was incredible. Huge portion size, enough to take leftovers! The server was friendly, but she was the only one working there when we arrived, so the food took a bit longer to come out, but it was well worth the wait. I enjoyed this so much and will definitely return when I am in Tumbler Ridge again. Most dishes are between $16-$22 on the breakfast menu. Very nice atmosphere and decor inside!

Omg we stopped by just to check it out while we were out on our walk & everything looked so good so we had to try something I got the wrap & my friend got the bowl think they were both barbecue chicken I was absolutely shocked at how much flavour these! Absolutely delicious & beyond friendly staff!!

Great selction and changing menu to keep us coming back! If they are offering Pizza nights jump on it!

Super good food and service, highly recommended

First time in Tumbler Ridge and I decided to try this restaurant. The service was fantastic, very friendly gentleman that was quick to out table. The food was delivered very fast and was made fresh. I love the atmosphere of an older Chinese restaurant but I was rather dated. The food was very delicious and the portion sizes were incredible, left with a takeout box for another meal. Highly recommend making a stop at this spot!

Delicious hand made food that I have enjoyed for years! Tony is excellent! Muchly recommended when one is in Tumbler Ridge! My favourite dish is the Bird's Nest, and the sweet and sour chicken balls!

Me and some friends from work were coming here pretty much every day off over the summer, the service was great, and so was the food. It always came out fast and we never went without our glasses full of water or coffee. Would highly recommend and I hope I end up back in Tumbler Ridge so I can visit again

Very friendly staff, they were quick even of a busy night. The food and drinks were delicious! Very good smoked meat for sure. Very loud and hard to have a conversation I found though. Overall it was a great stop for supper!

Western/cowboy theme to the restaurant. Regular / upscale pub food. Service good, and friendly. Reasonably priced, would eat here again. Probably the best food in tumbler ridge!

I recently dined here, and it was a major disappointment. The food was way overpriced for the tiny portions they served. They took way too long. For what they charge, I expected a lot more in terms of both quality and quantity. Honestly, you're better off heading to the golf course—they at least offer better value for your money. Save yourself the frustration and dine elsewhere.

The fries were absolutely awesome! Great friendly service too. Would be crazy for this place if they had dairy free cheese (it'll keep in the freezer for 3 months)

Crust is like Grandmas Fresh baked bread , toppings were fantastic and decent portions. Will absolutely order repeatedly on a very regular basis

I ordered a pizza; but when I arrived for pickup, it wasn't what I had ordered. I said it was okay, but the woman at the counter felt badly and gave me a very good coupon for next time. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate that kind of caring customer service. It makes a big difference. And the pizza was also very good at a reasonable price. Thank you very much! : )

Food is regular / lower end pub food. Price is reasonable for the food quality. Lots of good drink options; great relaxed atmosphere. Pool, darts, and golf simulator available for no extra cost. Nice time / activities. Service is really great, attentive, and have great recommendations.

Always a good time! Good people and great food. Our own version of cheers. Very accommodating would highly recommend to go check it out. cheaper then subway for a meal and a beer haha... but with multiple drinks, desserts and fun, affordable.. Was shocked on how cheap their costs are... still under $100.
