Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in New Hazelton – 2024

I recently dined at Robbers Roost Motel, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this place for a great meal!

Ordered a combo, consisting of sweet and sour chicken, dry garlic pork, and chow mein. About $20 Canadian. Sweet and sour never tasted anything close to what one would expect. I am still mystified by what it actually was, while the "chicken" dish was almost entirely batter. All three dishes were so bland and starchy as to be nearly flavorless, principally, it seemed, because the chefs decided to hold back on any ingredients - such as spices - that might actually cost them money to include. We have eaten Chinese food, both fancy and plain, all over the world and our expectations are modest, but this weirdly-nothing meal went down in our book as Lamest Ever.

Okay so I can’t speak for the whole menu but… the chicken chow mein was .22 cent ramen noodle packets and chopped chicken lunch meat. The fried rice was just rice lol. And the fried pork (maybe it’s pork) was just covered in crazy sweet sauce and it was mostly batter and the meat inside was gristly and just weird (I spit out a piece and stopped eating after that). Hope they try some new ingredients .

The only reason I gave this restaurant a 2 stars is that we had a great server. I wish I could say about the food here. Especially the Chinese Food. The sweet and sour pork was hard as rock. Thr Chow Mein was soft and was not fried. The fried rice was blend with no favorite. I guess you can't expect much for a small town Chinese food. The dining room looks old, very outdated. The decor is from the 70's.

I enjoy Eagles food. They are hospitable and friendly with warm tasty food in good portions. I especially enjoyed the streamed garlic ribs in black bean sauce as well as the #38 a taste of crispy and sweet variations along with savory home cooking. Bit cool why I only gave 3 for atmosphere as far as BC EAGLE burger is concerned, 5* for sure gravy is rib stickin too. Beefy and thick.. hehe

This place is a total gem, with delicious baked goods, coffee, and delightful service. Locals gather here, and they're happy to talk about their adorable small town. Well worth a stop.

I was on a bike tour through Canada and did a u-turn as soon as I saw this little gem off the side of the road. I was greeted by the friendliest staff who offered great recommendations. Everything from the fresh bread, coffee, and sweets were absolutely delicious.

Had the best beef roll of my life, I don't normally buy something like that but I'm so glad I did. Coffee was really good too and the woman working there was a sweetheart!

On a long road trip through BC from PNW- best food we have had all trip. Staff was polite and fast. So glad we took a chance- the snack boxes are huge, our whole car smells like heaven right now.

Born and raised ten feet from the ocean This place not only does it right they don't charge you a arm and a leg .. fish cooked to perfection.batter light and delicious.. If you are ever in New Hazelton or the area for that matter this place is a must

Big city quality in a small town setting. Ordered the taco salad, it was up quick, even though it was busy. The salad fresh and great tasting. Coffee is goof quality. They have vegetarian options. Staff were friendly. Good value for the prices. The view from the front of the cafe is scenic. Definitely the first choice for Hazelton.

Delicious home cooked food with an exquisite view and a superb macchiato. Blown away by this gem of a place.

This subway store have a good service. Their sandwiches are freshly baked and also for their vegetables. Their staffs are all great. All have positive attitude and friendly. Always smile to their costumers. I had a good experience there. Good Job Subway New hazelton. Keep up that good work.
