11/25/24 Thought we had an decent time here. THOUGHT. Dropped in for a stay for work and thought this was probably the best option as it was connected to our hotel. I had a schooner and 2 beers as well as dinner, my work partner had 4 drinks while we sat at the bar to watch the hockey game. We were there for 2 hours after all. I offered to grab the cheque and (my fault, I should have checked) paid for the bill. Typically I don't even think about it, I've never been ripped off like this. Needed a receipt for work so I don't typically check the bill, just put it into my slip bag and move on like most days on the road. Now, it may seem an oversight, but there was only a few tables tonight. I was right there when my pal ordered, there was never a "double" ordered in our 2 hour stay, and yes, my fault for not checking prior, but being as dead as it was, this couldn't have been an innocent mistake. I was charged 12 drinks. That's 50% more than purchased. There was one meal ordered, not even two. Just tipped a full 20% tip on the original bill. Will not be back, what a joke. Food was alright, thought our waitress Christine was nice but I guess not. Thanks for the padded bill, won't be back for the second one. Check your cameras managers, that's a terrible way to treat customers.
Everything was really good from breakfast to dinner.I am a fan of everything in here. I have to say this is my first time having breakfast buritto and it was amazing.Definitely a must try. I totally loved it.Pancake stack , and breakfast steak are awesome too. All perfectly cooked. Cheers to the hardworking kitchen staff. I would always recommend this restaurant. Thank you . Cheers to awesome servers Theresa and Christina and the team.
We stopped in at the Rocky River Grill after spending a bit of the rainy morning at the local library. The restaurant seemed quite busy for a Tuesday after 1PM. We were seated relatively quickly, but did notice a number of tables that had yet to be cleaned off from past patrons. Our server was very pleasant and the service was quite quick considering that it was busy. My wife enjoyed her pickled Caesar, and I enjoyed the special spiked raspberry lemonade. Our meals were quite enjoyable as well. My wife found her BLT quite tasty, as was my mushroom chicken burger. The kids chose the cheese burgers with fries off of the kids menu, although the patties seemed similar to what you could pick up from the local grocery store frozen foods section, and tasted like it as well. Nonetheless, the kids liked it, so that's all that matters. The portions were also quite large for all of our meals.

Food is absolutely disscusting the quality of food is low and poorly cooked the oil from the fry's is probably from WW2. the shrimp add on to the steak we're from a frozen shrimp Ring and the steaks under seasoned and tough like shoe leather the service however was good.
My first time and I loved it. My benny is perfect and just delicious and fried green tomatoes was a hit with me plus the cocktail topped it off and let’s not forget the Staff are just sweet and very happy to serve my Aunt and I. Love it there, my familles go to restaurant after attending mass.
We had 'brunch' on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty full when we arrived. We were seated quickly and given menus. We had to ask for water. Two of us shared a Country Omlette with Blueberry Pancake Side, and the other diner had the 2 Eggs Benedict with Home fries. We didn't have coffee (too expensive at $4.50 each!). The food was OK - just. The omelette wasn't as big or well-loaded as other restaurants, and the blueberry pancakes were ...well ... meh!. The eggs benny was OK, but with the usual restaurant powdered sauce - not homemade. Homefries were fine, but out of a bag. The server didn't manage to make it to the table until we got up to leave (i.e. didn't check on us during the meal). Overall we left full, but really not satisfied with the quality of food for the price, or the service. This place is OK for a pit-stop, but if you're looking for a 'better' breakfast experience for these prices you probably should try elesewhere.

What a delicious sushi dinner! Unfortunately, we craved sushi at a time on our vacation where Fubuki only served take-out, however, we ordered via phone and picked up at a time of our choosing. The staff member was extremely kind and gave us everything we needed. The rolls were fantastic, fresh, and hit the spot. We also enjoyed some edamame. Defiantly will be a go-to on our next Invermere visit!
Truly excellent atmosphere and friendly service. The food is good and the prices are decent, sushi is always a bit expensive but getting a meal deal is, well, always a good deal. A great selection of appetizers too. If you're looking to have a bit of a party, the tatami room seems pretty cool. Call ahead and reserve it, and then enjoy the atmosphere.
We are vegan - server understood our needs and walked us thru the menu items that we showed an interests in We ordered seaweed salad , mushroom Goma , veg tempura and a veggie roll All choices were excellent - the Mushroom Goma was our favourite Quick service , all staff were super friendly , portion sizes were reasonable Nice touch to receive frozen grapes at the end of meal When in Radium we look forward to the short drive to Invermere to eat here

When I was starting to plan the girls weekend months ago and I was looking through the restaurants in the area, I immediately knew I had to try this restaurant and I was not disappointed at all. A couple of the ladies had been here before but, they had wonderful things to say and everything from the food, the service ( our waitress was Annika ) the atmosphere everything was exceptional. A couple of the ladies had the 3 course special, I had the steak Neptune and the final lady in the group had steak and lobster. I will honestly say that this had to be one of the best cooked steaks I have ever eaten in my life, I just wish I had not filled up on the delicious bread first because I could not finish my steak lol. Then to finish off the meal we had the most amazing raspberry mousse that I have ever had in my life… it was beyond words. So light and full of flavour, it was the perfect ending to the meal. Honestly you made these Alberta ladies feel right at home and believe me we WILL be back again… ❤️❤️❤️
This restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Very authentic looking building and the inside was worth the visit alone. The food was and service was excellent. Our server was very courteous and polite. You will need to make a reservation to get a table very popular restaurant. Highly recommended.
We 3 had dinner on a Friday night. Online reservation was easy. The "Oberkellner" greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. Our server was Samantha (from Quesnel, BC). She was great. We had three cocktails while deciding our meals. All were well made and well presented. We were served bread rolls and two kinds of butter (garlic and regular). We ordered appies and mains. I will not get into details, but all were great, well plated and well presented. We had a bottle of wine with dinner ($35 of German Reisling). We were too full for dessert! Overall this is a great restaurant for a German/European meal in Invermere. We highly recommend it. You will not go wrong!

This is my first choice among Chinese restaurants. The food is delicious and fresh, but the restaurant is too busy and you need to wait for a while.
It’s really nice to be able to eat authentic Cantonese food in a small town. I know many people in town order takeout from this restaurant. Hot food is fried immediately. The price and portion are reasonable. I look forward to visiting again next time.
The food was good. We went there on a Saturday so expected it to be somewhat busy. But they still only had one server who was clearly flustered by the lunch rush. Still got our food in a fairly timely manner

We stopped for a quick lunch, as many restaurants seem to be closed on Monday in Invermere. It was our first time trying Poutine Queen even though we're here every summer for a number of weeks. My wife decided on the traditional poutine with the crispy fries on the suggestion of the Poutine Queen herself. I went for the Donair poutine with the Yukon Gold fries. The poutines were quite large and had lots of flavourful gravy and cheese curds. The Donair poutine was definitely bigger due to all the additional toppings. We both greatly enjoyed our meals and we're definitely full afterwards. We both commented that the crispy fries seemed saltier than the Yukon Gold fries. However, the Yukon Gold fries didn't seem to hold up to the gravy as well as the crispy fries did, so it comes down to personal preference. The shop is very clean but quite small inside, just big enough for a handful of people and to place orders, but there's lots of seating outdoors where the beautiful scenery and weather can be enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and provided some great suggestions. We'll definitely stop again and try some of their other poutine creations in the future, although I may have a hard time straying away from the Donair poutine as it was so delicious.
Excellent classic poutine. Efficient and very friendly service. Made me chuckle when owner introduced herself and then while serving the next customer said she was wiping out all the summer visiting Calgarians (I’m Calgarian) Cooked fresh, huge portion size (box wouldn’t close) Highly recommend this place for locals and visitors
Stopped in hoping for a good little Canadian treat and got way more than we bargained for. My husband said he’s been ruined for poutine anywhere else. It was that good. The Donair was huge and delicious. We will definitely be trekking it up from the states to come eat here again!!!

Great pizza place. Very clean outside and in. There's also ice cream available, however we he didn't have any. There is a two person table to sit at. Great variety of flavors and toppings, we tried the pepperoni and the Ranchers Pizza. Both were very good however my only critique would be the crust was forgettable. Would definitely order pizza from here again.
Great local pizza near the beach. A variety of pizzas you can choose from. Price is slightly expensive though. They also have ice cream section inside of the store and serve best ice creams! They have chicken wings but they are not fried one. It could be better to cook them as fries.
Should have went up the hill and grabbed a Frozen pizza from Sobeys. Literally looked like a frozen premade crust with barely any sauce or cheese. Thanks for loading it with pepperoni though. For the price I was expecting it to be better than dominos. Dominos smokes this place LOL

Personally, food was good, with no real complaints, but staff was not very welcoming. They look unhappy and not engaging. Very robotic interaction, and when they forgot my side toast , I made me feel I did something wrong when I asked. Anyway, it felt the staff couldn't wait to end their shift, and it was only 10 am. Smile ladies, it will get better and hang in there .
The cashier handles the food, hash browns, tomatoes, even eggs by bare hands without washing herhands, disgusting, I watching her this morning doing it to my food and others, I told her she's not allowed to, since she touches the cash register and everything else. It's also the owner fault leaving her alone, and she had to take the order and serve both the drive-through and the front.
If there is ANY other place you thought of stopping at in Invermere, go there. Burgers had to been sitting out for a while, so dry and hard to eat. Out of wraps which was the only reason we came. Staff didn’t greet us and instead of cleaning the absolutely filthy dining area they just chatted and hung out. The handles to the bathroom doors were sticky, men’s washroom was disgusting, every garbage including the ones in the lot were over flowing and there wasn’t a single clean table even though there was only one other customer. There were two front staff who literally did next to nothing the whole time we were there.

Service was excellent, talked to the owner about the local dining scene and am excited to get out and have some of his recommendations! Great cocktails and selection of beers. The food was very good, excellent presentation. The pickled items adds a wonderful sourness to counter the spicy and slightly sweet sauces. Lots of umami. A must try spot if you're in the area for sure
The motherclucker is the best chicken burger I’ve ever had. It was moist and the bun wasn’t falling apart and the toppings complimented it all. I had it with the Asian salad which was tangy and crunchy. The cocktail I had called the Norseman Nectar was also delicious and a great change. Sweet and Sour. Service was very kind and efficient. However it was very cool temperature wise and breezy inside. It was damp outside so maybe heating was slow to kick in but I couldn’t stay for another drink.
Great atmosphere, best food in town. The fried chicken is to die for. However there needs to be cow on the menu not just chicken. Not a large variety. Also some people cant eat deep fried. So would be nice if there was a grilled option.

Very delicious fresh pizzas out from the stove. I recommend eating at the restaurant since it’s freshly made there. My family enjoyed all the fresh ingredients they used on the pizzas especially they put a lot on it. I will definitely come back here.
This is an average pizza place. I visited here on a Friday evening and tried a pizza and meatballs. The service here was absolutely incredible. If it were not for the service and was based strictly on the food, this review would be 3 stars. The meatballs were subpar, lukewarm and clearly just from a frozen bag. The pizza was mediocre.
Delicious pizza, there is free parking, there is also pasta, hamburger and wings. There are desserts. You can sit inside or outside. Very kind and nice staff.

Spice hut in Invermere was an outstanding experience! The food was authentic, flavorful, and truly representative of the best Indian cuisine. From the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh naan, the biriyani dish was cooked to perfection. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant also adds to the overall experience, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. If you're in Invermere and craving delicious Indian food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended.
If you are looking for really yummy and fairly priced food while you are around here. Do not go anywhere else :) We had the coconut naan, the mango prawn curry combo, the chicken pakora, veggie pakora and mango lassi. The price was great for our dinner during our work retreat.
Definitely have to start this review by mentioning the portion sizes in particular the Naan bread, very generous as you can see in the pictures I have posted. Stopped here with a co worker while working in town Glad we stopped I started my dinner with an order of the chicken pakora, it was quite flavorful and the chicken was still very moist, for a main I ordered the Lamb coconut curry with a side of small rice, now note I asked for the small, again I must reiterate the portions are huge here, it truly was a filling meal, you Definitely won't walk away easily from this restaurant. I also highly recommend an order of Naan, you won't be disappointed.

Loved the mini yorkies. Best I've had in a while. Loved the onion rings as well as the souvlaki wrap. Was not a big fan of the nachos but it was a huge portion and would be great for groups to share. Would have been great if we could sit in their patio but it was raining, so we couldn't. Had the best views. Would love to visit again sometime.
We had just been to the vodka tasting at the Taynton Bay Distillery downstairs and we definitely needed to get some food into us lol.. We had already checked out the menu and were very impressed with all of the options food and drink wise and we were definitely not disappointed. The food, drinks, service were all exceptional and as we were from Alberta on a girls trip you definitely made us feel right at home. We will be back.. ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome wings (had the lemon pepper) and really tasty Reuben. Patio was closed due to the wasps, but the view was gorgeous and while it was hopping, service was very good. We'll certainly come back. Caesars (great themselves) came with a pickle and a slice of sausage: yum!

This is in my Top 3 restaurant experiences of all time - and I’ve been fortunate to try some amazing places This restaurant as an inviting warmth to it that is hard to replicate. The Service and Food were top notch, on point and just plain delicious. A lot of care and consideration is taken with guests. Definitely eat here 1. Artisan Bread with flavoured butters 2. Market Catch dish of pan seared black cod with prawns, scallops, fingerling potatoes and shallots in a seafood chowder Beautifully cooked and a seafood lovers dream dish 3. Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwich With a Blue Mountain Gamay red (I ordered my wine before I decided on a dish dish, the red still worked)
I had one of the best meals of all time at this fine restaurant. The service was top notch and I will definitely go back again! The atmosphere was a little loud and bright for such exquisite food…. But all in all a very enjoyable experience.
Amazing. Simply amazing. Each dish was flavourful, tasty and distinctive. Off the grid, this as good as any 5 star Michelin restaurant we’ve been too. A hidden gem in the little town of Invermere.
