Super service , at this closing hour , Raman happily served , I will be reffing this subway to my co truckers too , Cleanliness is appropriated too
The young man that works here Always doesn't listen to me for my order or everything I want. puts way to to much sauce on the sub and makes it soggy. There is never any soups or pizza sauce for subs after 5pm
Stopped 2 times at Barriere Subway recently and had great service both times. Friendly, warm employees!
Chester’s Chicken is a renowned fast-casual dining concept that specializes in delivering high-quality, flavorful fried chicken and accompanying comfort foods. Established…
Ordered the Western Style Chicken and got 9 huge pieces of freshly cooked chicken. It was seasoned well, even on the inside, and has a very thin and crisp batter. Paid around $20, very cheap when compared to the amount I got. You won't find such good prices for the amount of chicken you get anywhere in the Lower Mainland! Highly recommend it.
Chester chicken use to be good but certain groups of people seem to wreck it due to their lazy and unclean way of life . Says western chicken but definatly gross Indian chicken .
On a Thursday stopped in to get 14 pces of chicken and 12 taters. It was 6:05 pm. They said they were done cooking chicken for the day. This is about the third or fourth time had a issue. The last time I went there about the same time it was also slim pickings. Well they are off my list moving forward because our day slows down or ends at about 6pm. Sams here we come
Armour Mountain Restaurant is a premier dining establishment located in the heart of a picturesque mountain landscape, offering an unforgettable culinary experience that combine…
With a limited number of places to grab a bite to eat at. Armour is indeed alright. The place is split up between a restaurant and a bar with the bar appearing to have full service as well. Only one waitress to take phone calls, pay bills and wait on people. However she did a fantastic job (granted it wasnt super busy) but her amazing attitude and quick response was impressive nonetheless. Asked her what was good recommended the thai chicken salad and said anything else is good no complaints yet (which is a bit of a worrying sign). The thai chicken salad was a bit weird. Lettuce was on the bottom and it was warmed by the noodles and a bit soggy from the sauce on top. With the salad on the side with the dressing in a cup it would have been much better. The chicken was cooked pretty well not super dry and still was a bit moist. Didnt taste like it was frozen or thawed incorrectly so big props to that. The garlic bread was just white bread with garlic on it and some butter. Was tasty and cooked just long enough. Lastly the other thing to we ordered was the appy plater for 4. Came with samosas or onion rings and pita or fries. Picked onion rings and pita. The pita was warm however the sauce to dip it in was also warm which wasn't ideal. Would of been nice if the sauce was cold. It also came with a plum sauce and ranch dressing. The chicien wings should have been cooked at a higher temperature since they weren't as crispy as they should have been and they over seasoned it (picked salt and pepper). The chicken was a bit dry but crisper than the wings which was okay. Lastly the onion rings where pretty good probably the best thing on the plate. They weren't soggy and the onion held in place when you bit into it (gave way and was part of the batter when you bit but stayed intact where you didnt bite) which was very nice, again though could of been a bit crisper. The carrots and celery where whatever not cut all the way through so some pieces where bigger than the other but no biggie. The plates we where brought weren't clean which was a bit of a worry when trying a new place however the food was edible and the one waitress was very nice. A bit on the pricier side of things but if this is one of the only edible/good places to eat at can't really complain would go back if nothing else around was worthwhile for sure to try more stuff but not someplace im dying to go to without trying other places once.
Worst omelette I’ve ever had! The egg was so thin it was dry and I couldn’t poke my fork into it without it crumbling! The toast was made of stale bread and the butter on it tasted slightly rancid! We waited 45 minutes for our food after we had ordered. Our server was the only redeeming thing, and we must have drank a full pot of coffee while we waited. The restaurant is VERY tired. The upholstered seat at our booth had a 6” hole in it, and the ladies washroom was filthy, I almost didn’t want to touch the tap to wash my hands!
No extra charge for onion rings. How nice is that! Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed the food and great service.

The root beer is actually good! Over the past year or so I've tried root beer from at least 3 other A&Ws. I didn't order a root beer this time, but I got one for my wife. It actually tasted good, which I was totally surprised with. The rings we're good, not greasy, not overly salted. Thank you. This is the best A&W I've been to in many years.
Assuming the cook noticed his fries were getting a little stale because I watched him take fries out of the fry station warmer and put them back in the oil for a few minutes. Then popped them back into the warmer and salted them again. I wonder how many times he did that before I was served? Fries are gross. Dry and wildly salty. And I'm pretty sure re-frying stale fries is contrary to a&w food handling procedures, and maybe foodsafe? One would think that at 17$ for a burger and fries, it would at least be fresh
Love the food. This is how I treat myself. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming, I think that is so important to bringing back regular customers. The food is always perfectly done, and the fries are always fresh and crispy, I'm in love with the breakfast platters. Eggs, bacon toast, and hash browns. If it's that day of the week, and I don't feel like cooking for myself, this is my go too. I'm not big on anything else, the wraps I feel are really cheap and could be alot more interesting like a special sauce and more egg and cheese, come up with a breakfast hash wrap, anything cheese, egg, bacon wrapped in a tortilla is extremely boring. The Eggers, could be made a bit more appealing as well, add more cheese add a special sauce, they are always greasy and unappealing, I always find I'm hungrier after eating those and it feels like a pile of rocks in your gut. Yuck . Love the coffee, it's always fresh and hot.

Made a pit stop here to grab a couple chocolates while riding shotty on our way from the coast north. I am a darker skinned woman, and the older white woman working asked me if I was from the Esso down the street. I said that I was just making my way from the coast up north. She then said “oh, I wasn’t sure if maybe you were another one they brought in and I just hadn’t met you yet” I realize it is a small town so she could recognize that I was not a local but maybe they need to do some DEI training here. Based on that experience and how upsetting it was I would not recommend, and I will not return.
Awesome stickers! And awesome staff!!
It's great to have a dispensary in town you don't have to drive to. Next door to the BMI hotel restaurant and bar. I don't have to fly to Mexico no more!

Wonderful, helpful staff..I enjoy my experience there every time.
This is a small location, but they manage to get in reasonably diverse stock. I really like the extended and weekend hours. The staff are helpful and usually have good suggestions when you want to try something new. I'd love to see a few more BC wine options but what they have is pretty good.
Great staff, awesome manager, friendly and polite! I asked if they could stock one of my favorite wines, and now they do. Selection is perfect for the size of the place. Everyone who works there is very helpful.

Regulars like the Station House. Bella took care of us. Food was solid. Best hash browns. Decent place to stop with a big parking lot.
Good spot for a bite, turkey dinner Mondays are worth it! And a great eggs benny too.
A cute roadside restaurant, the primary demographic seemed to be retired locals (we entered right at the end of the dinner rush!) but the lovely waitresses managed to find us a table. We ordered the cajun chicken alfredo and the seafood alfredo. Both had great portions for the price point and I'd stop by again.
