They looked after us like we were family, food was hot and delicious. Service was fast and they came and checked on us a couple of times throughout our meal. It is a fast food restaurant , but treated us like we were in a sit-down restaurant. Would recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you

Went to Swiss Chalet for dinner tonight and ate in. We ordered the half chicken dinner and 1/4 chicken with ribs. The ribs were ok, not very meaty, but the chicken was amazing, the fries were so fresh and HOT …. Without a doubt one of the better meals out in a while ! Excellent! The server that brought our food to the table was very pleasant.

Three of us recently visited Tapavino for the first time. We will definitely be back! Lovely intimate restaurant, perfect for a nice leisurely evening of wine and shareable delicacies. Our server (owner) was so friendly and attentive. The dishes we chose were absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented. Timing between the plates we ordered was perfect, allowing us time to enjoy each tasty dish. I highly recommend the Mushroom Medley on Toast. The churros were especially delicious too. The wine selection was great and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant and it is worth the drive from wherever you are coming from!

Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and Philly cheesesteak. Buffalo chicken was very good. Cheesesteak was more of a roast beef sandwich served on an excellent crusty roll. Fries were good. Great sports bar atmosphere and excellent service! I’d come here regularly if I lived close.

Menu had been updated ,was going to try the Braused short ribs but not on new menu. My pictures has new menu items. Starters Antojitos, Got the half rack ribs with fries. Chilli and Poutine. And 3 beers . Standard pub fare. Good atmosphere.

This is probably the BEST place to watch sports in Fergus!!!!! They have screens EVERYWHERE and they have the volume of the games ON!!! We have been here a few times and never disappointed... the only thing is that sometimes their beer isn't as cold as it should be but that's the only small thing. Every time we visit the service has been wonderful. We will definitely be back...again...and again lol...not sure of Gluten Free options bc my daughter hasn't come with us yet. Will update if we have gf food.

I really enjoyed this place! We stopped in for drinks and dessert, and it was not what I expected. The glass seating area by the patio was so nice, it had this cozy, warm and yet clean, upscale feel to it. The desserts were perfect in every way I could think of. The menu itself was beautiful, simple and definitely made me want to go back for a proper meal. I look forward to going back soon!

I recently visited Scozia with five friends to celebrate my birthday, and, unfortunately, it ended up being a truly disappointing experience. If it weren’t for the company of my friends, the night could have been a complete disaster. To start, the restaurant itself is undeniably beautiful with a lovely atmosphere—but oddly, there was no music playing. It felt strange and somewhat empty, especially given how visually appealing the space is. Our server, an older gentleman who introduced himself as “Chad” (though he was in a Halloween costume, so who knows if that was his real name), was honestly terrible. From the beginning, he seemed rushed and dismissive. Every time we tried to ask questions or explain any issues, he would hurry off before we’d even finished speaking, offering no apology or acknowledgment—just a quick “OK” and he was gone. What made it even worse was that the staff knew it was my birthday, but it was never acknowledged in any way. Not even a simple “Happy Birthday” or a small gesture, which would have been easy enough to arrange. This lack of care was really disappointing. To top it off, one of my friends received the wrong order, and when we mentioned the mistake to Chad, his response was nothing short of dismissive. He didn’t apologize or even acknowledge his error; instead, he brushed it off with a quick response and walked away. It really felt like he just didn’t care about the experience we were having. The food, sadly, was incredibly underwhelming. It tasted like something you’d find in the frozen aisle and then reheated. We chose Scozia because of its glowing reviews, but after experiencing it firsthand, I can’t understand where the praise is coming from. The restaurant was so busy that our food took ages to arrive, and when my pregnant friend politely asked if they could bring her a small piece of bread to hold her over, we were stunned to see they had actually charged us for it. I found that completely absurd. Overall, Scozia was such a disappointment. With average food, a rushed and indifferent server, a lack of acknowledgment for special occasions, poorly handled errors, and unexpected charges, it’s hard to say anything positive. I really wish our experience had matched the restaurant’s reputation because, sadly, I won’t be coming back.

Terrible experience. Decided to give a try. The bar attached (Ferguson Room Bar ) stank like old musty beer as soon as you walk in. So we decided to go to the the formal restaurant to eat. Sat us out in a glass enclosed space. Was ok. But the flies were terrible. Food was seasoned at all. Very bland. Server was nice. Food came fast but no surprised when you don’t season it. Never again. 1st / last

Wanted brunch and this place is one of the two that was recommended . This place was exactly advertised with a straight forward menu. My wife ordered bacon and eggs with a side of home fries and I had the club sandwich. The eggs were spectacular and the sandwich was excellent. The coffee tasted watered down but somehow I enjoyed it. The milk however had a funny taste and smell to it, wasn’t sure if it’s about to turn or the smell was from the fridge. Left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

So this is supposed to be potato skins and chicken fingers. Brutal!! Not to mention the server was EXTREMELY unpleasant. Couldn’t pay me to return.

We recently tried takeout from Lucky Lotus for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed. We ordered the Cheese Wontons, Honey Garlic Mango Chicken Stir Fry, and Thai Yellow Curry with Tofu. Our food was ready for pickup in just 15 minutes, and it was hot and fresh when we got home. The flavors were fantastic across the board – although the Yellow Curry was mild, it still had a bit of heat, which we found enjoyable despite not being big on spice. The portions were generous, and the chicken dish was a standout favorite. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

It is a great place when you come from a drive to Toronto to forus or Elora . Hello Erisa, nice town with good vibe . It’s a great place to have a chill day and if you want to eat Thai food, this is a great restaurant is just 6 km away from elora . When is good food is great.

We have been ordering takeout from The Fergus Tandoori Grill for years and are always pleased with our food. It is flavourful and consistent. The prices have crept up over the years so we only treat ourselves on special occasions. We have had nothing but positive experiences here.

Disappointing experience. 20 years ago we loved this restaurant and fairly frequently ordered takeout or took the family there for dinner. No doubt the ownership has changed but so has the commitment to food quality and service. We had takeout butter chicken, lamb korma and butter naan. Usually that would last us two meals. The meat was sparse in both curries, the sauces watery and the naan thin and tough. A takeout order took 40 minutes to prepare and, on pickup, the staff person chose to play on his phone rather than serve me, the only customer in line. He even picked up an incoming call before paying any attention to a customer in front of him, wallet out and ready to pay. We won’t be back.

I don’t even write reviews, but I had to, if you have brown skin never go there(Funny thing is it’s an Indian cuisine). I just walked in and she is already assuming that I cant afford to pay for the food. She asked me to read the menu twice and then she is telling me that I have to get something other than snacks. The restaurant was empty and I know it will continue to be. No idea how they still keep 4.4 stars

Just order food from this place. Worst Chinese food I ever had. Everything is stale, bland, super dry, no actual favour but soaked in soy sauce. We ended up throwing away the food $70 wasted. Always check your food before you leave the place. Never again.

Very disappointing. Wanted to enjoy a nice family dinner. Ordered the dinner for four people, plus the general tao. Spent over $100, barely had enough to feed all four of us. Food was for take out, restaurant is only a 3 minute drive so it should not have arrived as if it was refrigerated. Chicken balls were lacking any kind of chicken and batter was raw. The cherry on top was that we were all very sick through out the night. Trying to support local, but I was disgusted and extremely disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sandwiches are okay. Had the rosé pasta and have noticed the sauce is watered down/little flavour. Noticed this with the Alfredo sauce as well. Also disappointed that the sandwiches don’t come in a combo. The staff are great! Very friendly

Oh my goodness!! My first time going to Nonna’s for lunch with my husband. I had seen great reviews on Google and supporting local business is what we all should do. There are so many burger joints that serve the same old same old … but Nonna’s Spoonfuls…. What a fantastic change …. Authentic Italian food. A smaller menu which I prefer, it guarantees freshness and quality and I wasn’t wrong …I got the eggplant sandwich and my husband the veal… we didn’t eat in for no particular reason even though the dining area was very nice and clean ! The smells just make your mouth salivate and the taste is amazing. Portion size is worth it ! Fair prices for great food ! What’s better than that ?! We will definitely be back. The owner was so nice and welcoming. Welcome to Fergus … I hope your business prospers !!

Delicious food served hot. I had the takeout of lasagne and salad. Salad was very fresh and crispy. Dressing was delicious. Lasagna was good and one serving is big enough for two meals. Will be back to try some of the other dishes

With plenty of water to gaze at, the ambiance is fantastic—ideal for a relaxing meal. The surrounding area adds to the experience, with little boutiques, gardens, and flowers enhancing the charm. As for the food, it’s about what you’d expect from a typical restaurant. The fish and chips were okay, but nothing that stood out as particularly memorable. The service, however, was good, making the overall experience pleasant. While the cuisine may not wow your taste buds, as it’s typical pub style I wanna say ? The setting more than makes up for it. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the scenery and exploring the nearby shops and gardens.

Fun little pub with great food with Down East decor. Had the summer salmon salad and St. George st. Chicken sandwich. Fries were great, salad was great with a sizeable piece of salmon. Chicken was a Nashville style and the best I’ve had yet. Highly recommended

Can’t beat big patio right on the gorge, the waves crashing as u enjoy the view and noises. The beer u should try here are the Newfie lager and dark. $6 every day! Easy to drink and very refreshing. Fish and chips have an amazing thick dark batter made from the Newfie beer, the other dish is a lobster Mac and cheese that has a great fish flavour too. For dessert they have lots of options and sessional ones too we had the harvest pumpkin cheesecake which was great. A must try in Fergus

Came in for breakfast with my 2 and half year old twins (by myself) the staff were absolutely AMAZING and even gave my boys an extra egg we didn't order just so I could eat my meal ( as I said I would just share with them ) was not expecting that at all :) The waitress was so polite and even talked with my boys. Most certainly will be back to this establishment. The other patrons that were around also talked with my very social twins, I truly love this town Oh and the food was Delicious!!
