Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Salmon Arm – 2024

This seems to a common issue with alot of Chinese food restaurants...sweetnsour pork..the pork is over cooked and dry and stringy. I chewed and chewed AND CHEWED the pork pieces and ended up spitting it out as it was so dry and stringy. Found out the reason is because the pork is reheated over and over, causing it to become tough and stringy. Pork should be tender to bite into and chew without the need to spit it out..not pleasant. I think you should seriously look into how you can do better!! ALSO...PLEASE UPDATE your website. Prices, I later found out they were old Prices, back about 3 or 4 years ago. How are customers expected to order properly without correct prices. Your website needs some TLC!!!

What a great place to eat!! Great food, extremely large portions and quick friendly service. Wow. I wish I would have taken pictures. Even the sweet and sour pork was tender. I had a combo meal and my husband tried the shrimp egg too young both were awesome and huge. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Great value for the price!!

We live in Alberta my mom in salmon arm every year Yans delivered birthday and Mother’s Day meals for us to our mom it is with sadness my mom has now passed on I would like to thank all the people at Yans that always made this a special time for us even when we couldn’t be their and to the delivery guy that always sang to her. Awesome service and food she always looked forward to getting her dinner. Thank you the brats as we are known

I stopped by Barley Station Brewpub for lunch every time I go to Shuswap Lake BC. The folks here love what they do and it shows every time I stopped here for the past 35 years. The meals are fantastic the Chardonnay is the best. Have a local brewed beer, hot wings and a huge bowl of clam chowder. Thank these folks for dedication to their craft. Thank them for being a pillar of support in the community. Check out the garden in the front a mini botanical wonder.

Eaten there twice now, both times it was enjoyable with really good food and yummy beer and other drinks as well. First time there I tried the Bushwhacker Brown Ale and my husband had the Haskap Margarita, both good. He's had the Halibut and chips each time - amazing fresh fish with a light beer batter. I first had the Chicken Schnitzel, and then this more recent time the Short Rib Entree. Both were so delicious. This time around I had the seasonal Raspberry Ale and hubby drank their Talking Dog ale which were both fantastic! Definitely recommend and we will certainly be back for great food and drinks! Took someone there for there birthday in Salmon Arm first time there as well as other person. This is a pub restaurant they have there own beers also outdoor terrasse.Nice decor friendly staff and very good food.I took chicken stir fry asian dish other person took pasta with feta cheese, spinach and cherry tomatoes with pesto sauce.Dessert was very good and shared Tiramisu gluten free!

My family come here to have dinner. Food is delicious. We order noodles(no.10 & no 13), fried rice, beef with rice and pork. The service is friendly. We really enjoy eating here.

Great Pho and shrimp salad rolls are so very delicious. The soda is only $2. Great value for money and the portion is very generous. Rate as authentic as in Vietnam

This restaurant has amazing and authentic vietnamese food, as well as a great atmosphere and very cute interior/exterior. All of the workers are very friendly and welcoming too! I tried the vermicelli noodles, the spring rolls, and the salad rolls, all of which were so delicious. Not to mention the amounts and proportions were great for the price! I was also pleasantly surprised to be served my bubble tea in a 100% compostable cup I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu!

Typically make the trek to Salmon Arm once or twice a year. After an 11-hour drive and then checking into the hotel, virtually every time I go straight to the Triple O's. I'm usually hungry and in need of a good hamburger and milkshake. Their food is cooked fresh and is fantastic. Service is good and the place is very clean. For my money they are the best burgers in town and I get them every time.

Just drive through salmon arm. Got gas and drove through the white spot. 40 dollars for horrible burger and ten fries with no salt or condiments in bag. Onion rings horrible and coffee vanilla frappe half full and no flavour. If I could go back to demand my money I would. I feel completely ripped off and will NEVER go to salmon arms white spot ever again. Complete joke.

The chicken burgers are surprisingly good, especially for fast food. The frys were fresh and actually taste like potatoes. Atmosphere only got a 4/5 because when l poured my ice tea from the fountain machine, it sprayed everywhere.

Very simple looking. Tge girl that greeted us was welcoming and nice. The sushi were prepared fast and, darn they were delicious and huge!!!! Portions are enormous, fresh and extremely pleasantly looking!!! I highly recommend to try Rainbow roll!! Won't reveal any spoilers, just ho there and try it!!

Not use to have fired onion chips on sushi roll, also some misunderstood for menu; however, food was good.

Stopped here for lunch with family on way back to Calgary from Vancouver The lady serving us was very nice and genuine, The food was amazing, and the servings were so ample we couldn't finish it all, and had enough for supper as well. I would definitely recommend. Five stars ⭐️ for them

We were going towards Kelowna from Revelstoke and were looking for Pakoras and Samosas and then found this restaurant. We places our order before arriving there 10 minutes ago and we were warmly welcomed in the restaurant. The ambiance inside is amazing and we had best Samosas and Pakoras along with Masala Tea. The lady who were serving us was honestly the best and treated us in great way. We are very satisfied with the food and service and will surely gonna stop by there again.

No kid lunch date! First time being here and it was awesome. Server was very friendly and helpful, had the lunch special. Which was a 3 dish sample with rice and Naan. I liked and disliked the serving plate /tray Felt cafateria style for the atmosphere but i liked that everything was kept apart and dint mix to make a soup. Didn't take away from anything it was more of a (that reminds me of school or prison) thought. Always so hard to decide what to order so thi was just perfect. Price. Quality , atmosphere, service all good in my books.

I’ve been to many different diners around the world including ones from the United States, Great Britain, Ireland, and Italy. But I always find myself coming back to Pjs located in a little town that is Salmon Arm! This place just can’t be beat. Seriously, it’s just that good…

Another amazing gem in Salmon Arm, food quality here was great and the service was personable and friendly. If you are looking for a great breakfast, then look no further! I had the breakfast sandwich, it was the perfect portion size and a great value. Wife had the combo #4, she enjoyed it as well. Would definitely eat here again.

My sister, myself and my brother in law visited this restaurant on Monday June 3. We had the most amazing service!!!!! I can't express enough how absolutely spectacular the staff was from the moment we walked in until the moment we left the restaurant. On top of that, their food and prices are amazing! Personally all I wanted was dessert so they told me about the cinnamon buns which were fantastic and my dutch heritage loved that it was under $5! I will be sure to support this business as often as possible when traveling to Salmon Arm. Thank you ladies

Amazing food, staff & atmosphere. Located in the Prestige Hotel , Salmon Arm, B.C. Have been to the idyllic town of Salmon Arm many times & this is my first time experience at 1905. Very reasonably priced, great plating & presentation. Our server Tanja was amazing. A definite must if your looking for a social with friends or a romantic dinner.

Decided to go to this place for our anniversary. We were seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful! Our server was incredibly friendly. We got the lettuce wraps to start, then my husband got the chicken burger and I got the steak with gnocchi. His sandwich looked great and my sirloin steak was one the best steaks I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly with great flavour!! The drinks were also amazing. We've been on the road on vacation for 10 days now and this is the best meal we've had yet. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and the servings were huge and so delicious. Highly recommend.

Indoor setting was classy and nice. Outdoor had a good view of Shuswap Lake, pond and the park near it. Service was awesome. No line during breakfast and very attentive crew. Food portions are good as well as the taste. Love the ham!

Super tastey food. Got a chicken burger and yam fries very good. Pretty bad wasp situation on the patio when we went but thats a minor issue with easy fix or just go inside.

Very nice establishment. Servers are kind and welcoming and very quick! Has a beautiful patio with plenty of seating. I’ll be visiting here every time I am back in Salmon Arm. Ryan, Alexis, and Tracy are amazing!

I have been to Setters a few times already for both breakfast and dinner. The food is very piquant, and the establishment looks clean. Even my mother likes coming to eat at Setters. The employees are courteous and professional every time I go there. I would recommend Setters Pub at anytime of the day.

We were passing to Kamloops and looked at this restaurant with good score . So we ordered 3 different types of lamb to try different flavor , the hostess was very knowledgeable about the whole type of food and spices. She helped us to pick the best three dishes.we finish it all she (Roobs)is very professional. She is a real customer service oriented person one of the best ever hostess I found in restaurants. Keep the good work

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the shahi panner, and dal makhni. The tiffin service is also absolutely terrific. The receptionist, Love and chef, Ram both provided splendid food and customer service. My crew from Zorawar Construction Ltd. were in love with their food. Can't wait to come back again!

Had a wonderful lunch for two while watching people do bowling. Pleasant waitress who could explain the menu well, and our dishes were super tasty: we had a Thali lunch plate with coconut lamb, and another with Madras chicken. Definitely recommend!

The food was awesome! Clam chowder was thick and tasty. So good! Burger was perfect! Then there was dessert. The pie slices are huge! They were a meal on their own! And did I mention delicious!?! Absolutely! Service was outstanding! Waitresses were all happy and friendly. You can tell they love their job and take pride in their work. So going back there again!

Filet minion 7 oz steak $42 was perfect gaucho style garlic mashed potatoes the carrots were different dry kinda cinnamon something else tasting golden beets amazing lobster $20 was great brown butter dip oh man smothered with mushrooms extra 9$ Stine of beer $7

Everything was excellent. Starting at the host, was very friendly and accommodating. Service was quick and cheerful. Drinks were brought quick and correctly. Food was excellent. Payment was easy. Host said goodbye. Was a great experience.

It's a brand new restaurant, so still a few kinks to work out, that's to be expected. The food took quite a while and didn't come out together. I had the Butter Chicken Pasta and my husband had the Butter Chicken 2.0. The butter chicken sauce was absolutely delicious! It had so much flavour. I'm hardly an expert but it's the best I've had. Butter chicken, for me, is kind of a "you know what to expect" standby, but this one caught my attention. We will definitely be back, whether it's to dine in or pick up.

Everything was amazing. The fish pakora is just my fav. I go just to have that for a snack. We have also tried many other dishes as well as a wrap and have no complaints yet. With all of our experiences I can’t see is ever having one. Thank you everyone there and can’t wait to see you and eat with you once again!!!

Dropped by AnDiamo recently and it was a fantastic experience. This place was recommended by my Airbnb host and I'm glad I took their advice. The ambiance of the restaurant is something to talk about. It's quiet, cozy, and just the kind of setting you'd want for a nice, peaceful meal. It's comfortable and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. As for the food, it was impressive. The mushroom caps were a highlight – flavorful, well-cooked, and a great starter. For the mains, the lamb was delicious, cooked just right, and the lasagna was a hit too. It had the perfect balance of pasta, cheese, and sauce, exactly what you look for in a good lasagna. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. AnDiamo served up great Italian food in a lovely atmosphere. It's a spot I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good Italian meal in a comfortable setting.

We absolutely love AnDiamo! The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, the space is cozy and romantic, and the food... OH THE FOOD We have honestly enjoyed some of the best meals of our lives here. The pasta is fresh and cooked to perfection, the cuts of meat and seafood are rich and full of flavor, and the sauces are absolutely divine. We always bring home any leftover sauce in a to-go container and enjoy it for days after. The Mussels in Alfredo-Wine-Reduction is our new favorite.., I'd be satisfied with a giant bowl of the sauce and a loaf of crusty bread to dunk in it, nothing else needed. Magical. Be sure to try one of their special cocktails, and never EVER leave without the Tiramisu!! (order it to go and enjoy it as a midnight snack, you'll be too happily stuffed to eat it right away). I can't wait to go back!

Best pasta I’ve had at a restaurant in years! Dine in, enjoy the food! Pasta is 10/10! Service was great but not much attention to detail. Such as, the table was a bit messy and dirty upon us being seated but it was never cleaned up… it didn’t bother us too much and we didn’t want to make a big deal so we didn’t say anything. The takeout boxes need a piece of wax paper lined inside so the delicious pasta sauce doesn’t get all soaked up into the cardboard box. Left overs were great but could have been better. Will be back, appreciate the detail in flavour and will tell all my friends. :)

Stopped by this gem of a restaurant on our way through town and were thoroughly impressed! Our server, Kaylee, was exceptionally attentive and personable. Even though it's a self-serve buffet, she took the time to explain some dishes and make thoughtful recommendations, such as the delightful Black Peppered Shrimps. The variety at Royal Wok is outstanding, with over 20 classic Chinese food dishes, along with dim sum and sushi. My friend enjoyed some green jello and ice cream for dessert, which, unfortunately, I was too full to partake in. The quality of food and the amazing service provided by Kaylee made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!

Man. This place. I can't say enough good things. Thank you Kevin and Rihanna for the amazing service. What you get for the price you pay is awesome. Sushi and a regular buffet. The food was fresh and flavorful. None of that old (and you can tell) food. Of note was mango roll and the wonton soup. Both The service was probably the best I have had at any place I have eaten. Attentive and genuine. I will be coming here again.

Amazing food and such good service. Wide range of food in the buffet including lots of lovely sushi. Definitely recommend if you in Salmon Arm or just passing through. We will be back!!!
