Cafe Michael - Trail

Worst restaurant experience ever Had the worst experience in this restaurant. I was a customer of this restaurant for many years. I would order a pizza twice a month for over 8 years plus stop for many lunches and bringing in food for work functions. i probably spent well over 10k in the restaurant when i worked in Trail Saturday was the first time back in 3 yrs and was i ever disappointed mostly how the cook presented himself. My wife ordered lasagna and i had a beef dip. We also had calamari and zucchini sticks as a side order and a pizza to take home after we ate. When my beef dip and the wife lasagna arrived at our table my wife look at her lasagna and lifted up the cheese, There was no sauce on the noodles and the little meat that was on the top of noodles was stuck in the cheese. My wife sent it back as it was terrible and she shared my beef dip. When i went up to the counter to pay i could here the cook in the back loudly telling the waitress loudly there was nothing wrong with the lasagna. That’s when i peep up and said the lasagna was terrible and had no sauce in it. Once i paid the rest of our meal for 78.85 the cook then came to the front till and told me to be quite as his daughter was there and that there was nothing wrong with the lasagna, He then told me to get out of the restaurant which i was leaving anyways. When i got out side he followed me and kept arguing to me outside that his food was all good and that never had any complaints before. I told him that he needs to be able to take some criticism if people are not happy with the food they are paying for. For some reason he would not let it go and kept following me into the parking lot at the end of the building. It felt like he wanted to fight me. Why else would a cook follow me into the parking lot after i left the restaurant. I will say that the pizza we took home tasted real good but i will never ever go back to the restaurant again just because they way the cook acted. If the cook was professional he should of come to our table and asked my wife why she sent the food back so he can maybe make changes instead of acting like he never ruined a order. Disappointing food
