My girlfriends and I have been coming here for years – the food is great and priced accordingly. I wanted my boyfriend to try it so we went. Unfortunately when the girl asked if we had a reservation and we didnāt – she seamed like she didnāt want us to stay. The restaurant had one large party of folks but besides that it was pretty empty. We said if youāre busy with the large party we will have some drinks until they are all served. We waited and waited and sat ourselves by the table at the entrance. Then a father and son came and were asked if they had reservations and they didnāt- they were escorted to the dining room without any issuesā¦.Then another girl came and took our drink orders and explained that the kitchen is busy and there would be a wait – we were okay with this. When we were served our drinks we noticed the father and son were being served foodā¦.after sharing a bottle of wine the father and son were leaving the restaurant and we still had not ordered our dinnerā¦..not sure why we were treated this way. I know my one star is not going to affect this restaurant because they donāt care because they know they have good food. But my point is; wouldnāt it be good to also boast of having good customer service and kindness?
