Have come here for takeout a few times now. Loves thier egg rolls. Usually grab 2 and a wonton soup. Today I also for the dinner for 1c which is chicken balls, beef with broccoli and chicken fried rice with an egg roll. My fiance and I ate all this and loved it. Filling
This is the only chinese buffet in Grand Falls-Windsor and on times it can be very busy. Due to this, the small space and one food station allotted for the buffett can be very crowded. On busy occasions, the replenished supply of food from the kitchen to the buffett stand can be slow.
We are passing through Grand Falls tonight and we stopped for Chinese food at Tai Wan. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet is well stocked and at dinner hour the restaurant is very busy. Thank you!

We ordered 2 Roast Beef Melts - shaved sirloin, onions, beef jus and melted mozzarella on ciabatta bun. They were very accommodating and substituted sirloin with turkey on one of them for me. I was so disappointed when I got them, not on ciabatta buns, looked like hamburger buns, no mozzarella to be seen. I would not have ordered them if told they were coming on hamburger buns. Ended up not eating it. Waste of money and food!
Absolutely loved my anniversary supper here last week. The prices definitely reflect a high scale restaurant, but so does the flavour. My husband had a steak and he gushed about how perfect it was. Amazing!
Very limited menu. No wine or drink menus, ordered a Pina colada, tasted like milk and water, server forgot the pineapple juice, I think she forgot all the other ingredients also. Seafood chowder tasted like canned. Certainly not a fine dining experience. The steak was good and the club house was cold but tasty. Looking at the menu online, some things were not offered on the menu we were given. Very disappointed

Best wings in Newfoundland! Every time I come to the country is a non-negotiable stop! I’ll have tried all those flavours eventually!
Saturday evening five of us went to your establishment and it was very disappointing, to say the least. Flat beverages that the waitress stated was 'always like that'. No sauce brought out with our appetizer, despite asking for it when ordered and then asking two separate waitresses for it after. No cutlery brought to the table until we asked for it. No napkins brought to the table until asked for twice....and then they only brought four napkins-we were a party of five! The wings were good, but soooo not worth the bad service. First time I have eaten out and not left a tip!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating; the food was hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend this location.

Pizza was excellent, perfect crust, very generous with the cheese. The garlic fingers are delish, buttery and garlicky! Wings were a disappointment, very tiny. We ordered delivery, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. There was no opportunity to add a tip when paying with credit card but they did charge $6 for delivery and we were staying a kilometer away so I guess it kinda balances out.
Omg. Delicious . The food was hot and very tasty. They even have cauliflower crust pizza as well. Yummie. I will be back for sure.
The pizza place has a cozy atmosphere and a welcoming staff, creating a pleasant dining experience. The stone oven adds a nice touch to the cooking process. We decided to try their veggie pizza and garlic fingers. The garlic fingers were really nice, accompanied by a mouthwatering donair sauce. I would recommend trying them! However, I found the veggie pizza to be lacking in flavor.

Best restaurant in town, food quality is amazing and well worth the price, it’s the best food I think I’ve ever had!!
The food is usually pretty good. The last time I was in, the server had a very hard time using the tablet and got our order wrong because back of house didn't get it correctly from the point of sale. No big deal. We just picked the bacon off as we don't eat pork. I ordered the pancakes as it was the last thing on the menu I haven't tried and the description said it came with a berry compote and 6 blueberries came ontop..... so. It could improve to have the menu match the orders. Over all its fine. The lattes are the best and the mugs used inside are always beautiful.
The burger was made from scratch and tasted delicious. Switching out the fries for a beet & goat cheese side salad was a smart move when in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland Labrador.

Great food. I was asked what spice level I wanted which was appreciated. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was decorated nicely. Very warm and inviting.
Last night was my first night trying authentic East Indian Food. My husband picked it up, the staff there were so friendly and THE FOOD! Let me say this, not once in my life has a dish made me emotional, the bread smelled like my grandmother's house, you can taste the different levels of flavor and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. Can't wait to try more! Sam
Order some food last night , paneer was black seems like it was expired, taste like bitter , called the restaurant they said there noticed they can do , evens naans was frozen . They don’t make naans there, strongly not recommended. If you eat there are chances to become sick

Stopped in for a late lunch with my wife and 18 month old. A wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the fires dressing and gravy were to die for. Fast service as well and reasonably priced.
Stopped in on a drive around. Staff were sweet and the food was awesome. It was well past breakfast cutoff but they offered my husband breakfast regardless. Very accommodating.

Badger Diner was on my Atlantic Canada Fish n Chip tour after watching Nerdy Newfie Food Reviews. The sound of the crunch on the video was too hard to resist. Stopping here was easy and not too far off the highway on the the way back to Port aux Basques for the boat. I'm happy we did. The staff was nice and gave me all the take out items I would need to enjoy our fish and chips in the car. Look forward to a return visit when passing through Grand Falls-Windsor.
My girlfriend told me this place had the best fish and chips in Newfoundland, which is a lofty claim indeed. I have to say, I think she may be right. I got The Mess and she got a two piece, which she gave me one of. It was phenomenal. Fresh, not overcooked and you could go right through it with the fork with no effort. Combined with their in-house tartar sauce, it was to die for. The Mess is excellent, but don't plan on doing much after if you get it. The service was very friendly and while the decor won't win any awards, who cares? It still feels homey and welcoming. Bonus points for playing the rock station! Loved this place and I can't wait to go back next time I'm here.
I eat fish and chips everywhere..i will be back....fish was huge, nicely battered and tastes awesome. Woth a homemade mustard tarter sauce....home done fries were perfect..2 piece was a lot to eat..I took a piece with me when I left they even put it in a paper container..was nice to have a good plate..

I ordered the chicken burrito. On the menu, it is listed to have chicken, cheese, celery, tomatoes, and onions. It came as a soupy mess and the fries were served on the same plate in a pile of liquid. The tortilla shell was burnt and covered in grease, and the fresh cut fries were soggy and soaked in the disgusting liquid that was pouring out of the burrito. The restaurant was completely empty, and our waitress still took forever to get our drinks. When I told her that I didn’t enjoy my meal and I’d like it taken off the bill, she said only half of it would be comped because the fries were gone. I threw the fries out because they were that soggy and soaked in the tomato liquid that they weren’t edible, they had turned into squishy mashed potato liquid. Terrible service and terrible food!!!
Wasn't sure when we first stepped in. But we were greated warmly. Service was great and so was the food. Hubby had the burger, and myself the Philly cheese steak. Both were really good, not greasy and was nice to have the option of a baked potato instead of fries at no extra cost.
Hubby thought this place looked a bit sketchy, but was fine. Food was decent. This town has very little available if you want to eat after 7. Hubby had fish and chips and he was very happy with them. I had a stir fry, it was good, just a bit more cooked than I prefer. Very friendly staff.

Stopped at this restaurant for brunch from a Road trip from Stephenville to St. Johns. Typical American Chinese food, it is good but nothing special. The fried rice is not bad, wonton soup is tasty but the ribs are bit hard to chew. Place is clean, washroom is available.
Somehow the seafood dish has less scallops than the other one lol. I feel like this place needs to be taken down a notch. Is it really Google 4.4 stars quality? It's your normal run of the mill American Chinese food. Definitely not amazing or authentic. It could be that the choices in NL is so few that people put this on the pedestal. I think it should be judged fairly.
Horrible food even compared with other American style Chinese food..the waitress is unprofessional and let us felt not welcomed

We arrived at 6.15 and were able to place our order quickly. After waiting 45 minutes we asked our server Brenna how long? She apologized for the delay and would check on our food. She returned to say our order would be started in approximately 5 to 10 minutes. It still didn't come and we asked her what the problem was she promised to check on it and returned quickly to indicate it would be out shortly. Finally we received our food at about 7.20. My partner had ordered wings with a baked potato. The potato was hard and uncooked although hot. Brenna said she would have the cook another one and advised us our dinners would be comped because of the delays. Finally we received a fresh well cooked potato after about 10 minutes. I have to compliment Brenna on how she did her best to give us good service, she was excellent. Management need to ensure sufficient kitchen staff are available on busy dinner times.
The food was ok. The service was slow. 40 minutes to recieve food once ordered. The staff were friendly enough. The food was expensive for the quality of food. For those from other parts of the country there are scrunchions which comes along with the pan fried cod. They are salt pork pieces fried and rendered down as shown on the photo. It looks like a bowl of fat and grease which is used to put on your cod fillet for flavour. It was served on the side so the amount poured on could be controlled. Other than the wait and the expense the experience was good. $130+ for meals for 3 adults.
Food was great Arrived at 6:00 left at 8:00 we got our orders submitted extremely quick roughly around 6:05 at 7:00 we all realized that it had taken a while ( may I Mention our drinks weren’t topped up and not a single worker had checked on us to tell about or orders) as 7:15 we were thinking on leaving but decided to wait an extra 15 mins ( we have a diabetic in our party so this was quite Concerning for us ) 7:30 we were about to leave and our food was arriving we were Super relieved. We ate and left ( the person that was going to pay said ‘’ we are not paying for this disgrace of a Meal ‘’ but grudgingly we payed) Listen to me if you are in Grand Falls never come here.

Great food - probably the best north of St. John’s honestly. The staff were all super friendly. I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you are craving Chinese food.
Came by to try out the Chinese food based on the Google reviews and we weren't disappointed. Super prompt staff, food came out in almost no time, and it was delicious. Lots of staff on hand, the restaurant was clean and spacious. Prices were very reasonable and servings were generous. We left happy and full. Thanks for a great meal!
First off I have to say, that was the best egg roll I've ever had!!! Stopped in for a quick lunch, fantastic portion sizes on the combo plates, absolutely delicious and couldn't ask for better service. Had a chat with one of the new owners, she was an absolute delight. Highly recommend checking this place out, you will not be disappointed. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!

We knew DQ had great ice cream, but the burgers & strips are just too good. Flamethrower burger is just the right spicy.
Very friendly staff, fast service, the burgers were fantastic and my favorite is the routine. Just the right of amount fries cheese but not enough gravy.
Best DQ in town! I had a good double BBQ smokehouse burger with some decent fries and topping it off with a brisk iced tea to drink! I 100% recommend this new location to anybody if you're coming in for a bite! :P

Come here often, we always have excellent service, especially when Lulu is working! She's very pleasant and has helped when we've had issues with the app in the past. Food is always fresh.
