Fantastic local Sushi restaurant!! The food is delicious!!

We absolutely love this place, great food, fresh, great variety, and friendly sweet staff members. We've been a few times, and it's been great each time, highly recommended going there!

We tried the Takoyaki, which was our favourite. We also ordered edamame, deep fried yam roll, Philadelphia roll, Alaska roll & the beef bulgogi roll. Everything was 10/10. We got all of this and two drinks for $77. Very filling and we had leftovers. We dined in and the atmosphere was cozy and the service was very good. Can’t wait to come back!

Our food was excellent. But when they brought us our coffee she never brought us a teaspoon to go with the coffee And there is no teaspoon on the table. I had to ask for a teaspoon which I did not think was right. I had asked for honey for my coffee I waited at least 10 minutes before the honey finally arrived while my coffee is sitting on the table cooling off. Also the person that brings your food is not the person that took your order. The meal in the picture is the Southwest Benedict.

We arrived at 12:00 it wasn’t busy when we arrived, one waitress brought us coffee and water after we sat down. However we waited 20min to get our order taken, I needed to call a waitress over because more people were arriving and they weren’t coming to get our order. We did not get our food until the end of the lunch hour 12:48. We had waited all lunch hour. I’d be more understanding if we had arrived and it had been busy. I did notice that it was only one waitress working at the start and no one else was around helping her until later. Food was good but I needed to rush and eat it. My nephew had to get back to school - he ate a bit in the 10 min we had and he took most of it to go. They should probably consider having more staff during the lunch hour I’m certain this is not just the waitresses fault and it takes everyone for things to go quick. That being said most people only have that hour during lunch to be away from work or school. Also eating out is more expensive these days paid $45 for lunch (breakfast style foods) if I had left a tip it would have been $50plus. I don’t ever complain much but cost into consideration. Winkler does have many places to eat that you can have your lunch comfortably within the hour.

Was so cold in the restaurant that we had to keep our winter jackets on the entire time we were there! And we weren’t the only ones. Other customers had their jackets on too!! Outside temperature was above 0. Not impressed. We got there at 6 pm and they ran out of Caesar Salad. Too bad they can’t have 2 deep fryers, as some of us are allergic to Seafood and the Shrimp is fried in the same oil as the French Fries. Though they were accommodating with removing the Pumpkin Seeds from my salad as I am allergic to them! The waitress was very attentive and the food didn’t take long to arrive and tasted good.

My wife and I decided to try this place out while in town we went just after 9pm. Was greeted and seated promptly by host staff. Took a while for server to come to table we had already decided what we wanted to drink and eat before they had even greeted us. Food was hot and really good we had the nachos with chicken and beef bits. During our meal no one stopped by to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything (and I really could have used a glass of water) once we finished eating our server noticed our empty plates cleared and asked if we wanted dessert and left while we decided. When they came back we told them what we wanted we were informed they were sold out of the dessert we wanted (not sure why you would not mention that at the beginning considering there are only so many dessert options) dessert we decided on came and was good. Overall a decent experience just felt the service could use a bit of work, some more check in’s would really help.

My co-worker and I noticed that Chuck's had just opened across the street today, so we decided to try it for lunch. Despite being open for less than an hour, everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu offered a variety of options like burgers, fish and chips, steak, and ribs. I tried the half rack of ribs, which were tender, and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous, and the overall dining experience was impressive. Considering the quality of the food and service, it was excellent value for the money. Chuck's is off to a fantastic start, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

This restaurant has been open for just under a week today, so overall I have to say they are doing well considering the flood of traffic they have. Realistically, considering the price, that traffic will continue. Here is my short review: We visited at 4:30pm on a Wednesday, hoping to beat the dinner time rush. Quite a few of the tables were already occupied. It was a full house when we left. The server took our drink order, returned with the drinks and was ready to take our order quickly. It took us awhile to review the menu, the waitress continued to check on us until we were ready. Time between ordering and receiving our food: 12 minutes, Great Job! My plate... Ribs: EXCELLENT Honey Garlic Chicken Wings: Good Fries: Average Wife's Plate... Cheeseburger: Average Onion Rings: Poor Dessert... Carrot cake: Average, (A bit too dense and bland.) Notes: I liked the cheesburger, my wife did not. I think this is because the onion rings ruined her tastebuds. She found it bland, I found the meat quite tasty and juicy. I did agree with her; the toppings were cut so thin they might as well have not been there. It was Rib night, so I had to order the Ribs. They did not disappoint. The Ribs were among the best ribs I have had in a restaurant. Meaty, Juicy, Tender, great sauce, and an amazing price. Noise level: This place is LOUD. There is nothing to baffle the sound at all, making it nearly impossible to visit. Service: The service was good, we had to wait some time for the bill, and had to ask for refills, but otherwise no issues here. I'm sure once these new servers get into a rhythm it will be very smooth. Overall I was happy with the meal, but the noise level will make it hard to return on a regular basis.

We had dinner reservations for 3. 2 adults, 1 child. Initially, we were sitting in the screen room with very nice views. Unfortunately, the wind made it a bit chilly. Stuff were very nice and accommodating, they moved us inside were we also had a nice view from part of the golf course. The food was good, and fast. I had a coffee with Baileys and was perfect. It's always nice to have a kids menu available. Overall it was a very pleasant dinner, i would still like to see a bit more in the menu.

We decided to try this place out today for lunch and were not disappointed! Our server, Marge, was absolutely wonderful and took great care of us. We got the spinach dip and pickle chips to start. For our mains, we got the honey dill chicken wrap and the creole shrimp po boy. Our food was overall very good. Marge noticed our spinach dip was a little bit greasy and didn’t charge us for it. The portions are very generous and we had lots leftover. My partner ordered a few drinks and said they were excellent. Worth the price and will be coming back lots.

The food was decent. It's more on the higher end for a restaurant. The price sure reflects that. The food came out fast. The atmosphere is not as nice as I expected for the price tag. There was a lot of empty space and only a few tables set up for dine-in. We had a nice experience with our server.

King’s Deli did the catering for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. They were very easy to work with and went above and beyond my expectations. They were able to make the meal go smoothly and I received plenty of compliments afterwards from guests. I’m only planning on getting married once but I will be recommending them to everyone I can for all things catering. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about them.

If you love a great sandwich and a warm and friendly atmosphere to sit down and eat it then the Kings Deli is the place to be. I had the pulled pork po'boy with a bowl of scratch made chicken noodle soup the first time I stopped in and the food and the service was so good that I went back the next day for the grilled cuban and another bowl of soup. Again Excellent food, Amazing service! Keep up the good work

The food is so amazing here but I feel for what you pay portions are a bit small. Service is great, they see you walk in and help right away every time. Wait time from when ordering food to when you get is good.

Nice and authentic Filipino restaurant. Food tastes like it's homemade. The Tapsilog beef was delicious and soft. Would definitely recommend it.

Me and a friend were here for lunch and both had an order of Bangsilong. We have never had this before and it was absolutely fantastic. The owners clearly put love and care into their food and make amazing dishes. What a great place to eat

Such a literal "hidden" gem! It was kinda hard to find at night, but it's on the left side of the Red River sign! I was surprised to find Filipino food outside of Winnipeg, and to be honest, it's probably one of the top 5 i've tasted in Manitoba. The liempo was crispy on the outside, and super juicy on the inside. Had a couple sticks of Filipino bbq that transported me to summer Thanks for the great comfort food away from home ❤️

Food is so delicious. Vereniki was so light in delicious cream sauce. Enchiladas are yummy. They have platters and good specials each day.

At this restaurant, they are ready to serve anyone who is there. I am always amazed at their ability to keep up with all the customers. Their food is really delicious too. With a vast menu as well.

Not the same as a typical Mexican place in the US but my burrito was very good. But the pies were superb. My wife had the chocolate cream pie and I had the coconut cream pie. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I’d come back if I didn’t live 1200 miles away.

Came for the mexican buffet. Food was delicious but not very hot. Staff was around for refills. Cheap price for buffet at $17.25 The buffet area was a bit messy. The soup area had noodles around because the noodles were quite sticky. Not many desserts to choose from. The utensils looked mostly clean. Overall, I would eat here again.

Food was loaded with flavor. Big portions and very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. It is not fast food place, so expect a little bit of a wait to be served your meal.

It’s not fancy, but the food and portions are outstanding. Had a half order of bratwurst with sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes with gravy. All homemade. Very tasty and very full. Service was fast and friendly. Cost was very reasonable for the quality of food. My wife had their burger and said it was one of the best she’s had. Definitely worth another visit.

I ordered takeout and got the bratwurst on a bun recently (a regular all-day Thursday special -$6.00, a real bargain.) It was a soft bun, very tasty, and came simply with mayo and mustard. The bratwurst was a 14-inch monster, sticking way out from either side of the bun. (1st pic). But I decided to jazz it up (2nd pic) with sliced tomato, lettuce, white onion slices, a slice of havarti jalapeno cheese and fried onion bits (French's). And because the bratwurst was so long, I cut it in half and made another brat in a bun for supper.

I would give this place 6 out of 5. Food is distinctive, and service is top-notch. I've been to Germany multiple times, and honestly, I did not enjoy Hofbrauhaus in Munich as much as this place. Everything tastes as a homemade, I ordered supper and to go dish. So, 2go dish (schnitzel with mashed potatoes) I am eating right now, lol. And not because I am hungry. Also, they have good German beers! Highly recommend

The outpost grill is a great place to bring for your family. The waitresses are so nice and the food is amazing. I would go back any day of the week. They have a big parking lot that’s always full. I would recommend the ground beef steak with curly fries. 10 out of 10 experience.

Great food at a great price in this day and age. Lots of truck parking as well.

Giving a lower rating solely on price. Main course can easily pass $50. Easily costing $100 per person. This is in 2024 prices. At that rate I can be fussy. I ordered ribs and they were good but not outstanding. Food took some time but we were a group so I can understand. I considered seafood but worried as we aren't near the ocean and I don't see any tanks for them. A huge plus for these guys is they aren't busy. Our group got there at 6:30 and left at 9:30 on a Friday. We shared the entire room with a couple tables. The food is reasonable but if it's reasonable food there are a few all you can eat buffets. You can eat reasonable food for under $30. If it's about being undisturbed with your group and not having less desirable people around than this is your place. It will cost though.

The service was decent could have been a bit more systematic to big breaks in between coming to check but was friendly staff. I didnt like that they didnt have ketchup and salt and pepper on the table. The atmosphere could be a little more privacy like have small walls or plants or so between the tables to make it more comfortable. The food was well good but could have more flavor as in spices and was way to small portion for the price. I do like that it is a bit darker in the restaurant.

Saw this place on Instagram and made the drive from Winnipeg and let me tell you, it was worth it! The food is authentic and very flavorful. The service was great. Relaxed vibe and really nice people. I wish I could have eaten more!!

Charley B’s is a great example of good management, well-trained staff, and very good food and could be used as the goal to reach for any restaurant. The vibe here would be perfect, but there are a lot of flies swarming the area later in summer (maybe because they smell the great food served here). If this problem could be solved, this will be a world-class drive-in.

Food was delicious! All homemade things. When I was there, they had a tonne of flies on their patio. I think I had 20 flying around me? Otherwise the chairs and pergola and tables are all very nice.

Have been to VB’s a few times with our children to play on the Playground. Wanted to order food off the full menu but stay by the playground to eat and supervise our children. Did not realize the menu is not the same on both sides. Instead of being able to order the food we wanted were told we needed to order from the limited menu due to kitchen not being able to handle tables from both sides. Didn’t understand the reason for this rule. We decided to order take out (which they offer as a service for anyone, not just paying to be there). Was told what we did was unexpectedly and that other people may do the same thing. (Thought to myself oh no, what if people order food). Was offered that we could go and eat on the bar side, but the reason we come here is so our kids can go from eating to playing and we don’t need to worry about them being to loud for the other guests at a restaurant. The food was good and kids love playing at the playground, but this weird menu limitation has me scratching my head still.

We recently had a work lunch for a group of 12, and it was fantastic! The ambiance was welcoming, and the food was excellent, with a great variety for everyone to enjoy. Special shoutout to our waitress, Julia, who was attentive, friendly, and efficient, even with our large group. She made sure our orders were accurate and was quick to accommodate any requests. Highly recommend this place for both small and large gatherings – great service, especially with Julia!

After 45 min waiting for our food we asked how long will it take, she says 10 minutes. We got our food 1 hr and 15 min after ordering. Cold fries. No apologies. Very poor service. I would not recommend this place. I rated them at 1

What a find! Incredible Pao, and other delights! And they have their product ready to take home (frozen), so the deliciousness doesn't end, if you can't make it to Winkler on a regular basis. And the owner is amazing. He was ready with suggestions, and was immensely gracious. This will be our first stop in Winkler when ever we're in town.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The food is delicious and filling, at a very good price. I personally love the rich coffee they have!!

A wonderful surprise! A taste of Brazil in the middle of the prairies! Wonderful bites of yummy goodness served by the friendly owner. And you can take home the treats because he also makes and freezes his food for sale. So remember to stock up when you’re in Winkler! We know we will!
