Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Boissevain – 2024

Deserves more stars. Stopped and had a open Denver. Wow so good. The place is a local spot for the coffee crowd from town. Lots of sitting room and very clean. Service was friendly and fast. There is lots of different teas and coffees. Italian sofas. Fresh muffins. Home made bread. Music some evenings. Outside area for eating or coffee. Will be back

Was very disappointed that the bakery in town was closed. I changed my google aearch from "Bakery" to "coffee", and this place came up. My disappointment melted away when I walked in! Such a nice cozy atmosphere! The staff were all very welcoming! I ordered a caramel latte, and it was far superior to the ones I usually get from little coffee shops in towns I visit. It was nice and smooth and just the way I like it with no bitterness from the espresso! I also got a pecan cinnamon bun, and it was nice and warm, and best of all(for me) not overly sweet! As much as I like cinnamon buns, I am not one for my teeth feeling like they are going to fall out from the sweetness! I found a nice comfortable chair to cozy up in and read my book. The art on the walls called to me! I have seen recycled wood art before and have been wanting to get one for a while. I was happy to see that they were made by the locals, and was able to take one home with me! I love seeing individuals with varying abilities working in the community developing life skills, and honing in on their individual talents! I am VERY happy that the bakery was closed today, forcing me to search out another place, as that lead me to find this place! Keep up the amazing work everyone! You are doing a fantastic job!

We only shopped this time at The Sawmill. They had a good selection of mugs, plants and pots and woodwork items such as roasting sticks and games. Staff was friendly

EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious. ALL well seasoned oh my goodness. Sue, our server, super friendly and funny we loved her!!!

It took me three trips to Boissevain before I finally tried Choy's. I am glad I did. I ordered something simple. Chicken fried rice. It came out steaming hot and delicious. It was plenty of food for one person. The restaurant was very rustic and when I first walked in I thought it was take out only till I was told there is seating in the back. My server was prompt and checked back with me from time to time. The only negative I can think of is the post meal fortune cookie was very stale. If you find yourself in Boissevain or are just passing through give Choy's a try.

We had 19 people in our party. The server was excellent and did not miss a beat from taking our orders to the final bill. The kitchen served up delicious dishes, including some vegetarian ones that were very tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that visits or is in Boissavain.

We shared the peace garden pizza. Was very good.

Great little bakery with a nice selection of donuts, breads, and cookies and more. Hot coffee and tea is available as well. Friendly staff and nice little seating area inside with seating outside for the warm summer months. I had a delicious glazed donut and apple fritter for breakfast.

Stopped in and checked the fresh baked donuts, ended up buying 2 chocolate chip cookies, strawberry strudel, and strawberry fritter. Very clean and friendly. Service was very good and almost all that I bought has been eaten. So good. Freshly made and lots of filling. Worth stopping and trying maybe add a tea or coffee.

Strawberry rhubarb fritters....need I say more. Yes? Baked to perfection, with just the right mix of the divine. Sigh. Lovely place. We had our breakfast there and came back later in the days to buy tomorrow's breakfast (closed Sunday's:() And we were surprised at 4 just how little was left of the supply, but I got my fritters... Definitely worth the trip.

This was the second time my wife and I have eaten at this little Drive In. Today we both enjoyed our burgers. They were cooked fresh, hot, juicy but not greasy. The fries were also fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. The only thing I wished, when I was asked if I wanted all the fixings on the burger, was lettuce and tomato was included as well. I also love how they have kept the original sign from the original owners that dates back to the 1950s. The original building is no longer there the sign adds a little history to this location.

This drive in restaurant was very busy serving very good food. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Also Root beer milkshake along with medium soft ice cream. Place was very clean. Lots of sitting room. Outside patio. The meat was over cooked. That’s why 4 stars. Still very tasty just to dry patty. Fries were hot. On holiday Monday very busy. Good sign the food would be good. Service was very good fast and brought right to your table. Going to stop when leaving area. Oh the medium was very tall and the lady that curled the ice cream was good. Perfect tower of chocolate and vanilla ice cream cone.

I really like the name and the staff and the menu and the ice cream but I wasn't a fan of the salad. For some odd reason we all ordered salads and none of us were too impressed. If you pay extra for chicken you expect to get a good amount of chicken...the chicken seemed like an afterthought. The ice cream was delicious and the staff were just humming along with the crowds that just kept coming and coming. A great place for ice cream and maybe next time I won't order a salad at a diner.

First visited this location about 2 weeks ago, we are from the States and I manage a Subway in ND, Canada has different stuff, then we do. Went again today, and the sandwiches we got were so good. Again we don’t have them. And the cookies were great. Stopped again before leaving Canada, bought another sandwich and more cookies, the confetti ones, and m&m chocolate chip! The guy was working both times, so pleasant. The gal was working the first time and was super pleasant. Highly recommend this Subway!

Excellent! Friendly staff, fresh bread (0930), cold veg. Probably one of my best Subway experiences in a long time. I will be back and would recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious!! Had the brisket sub, made just like on the menu, minus the red onion. Fantastic!! Also good potato soup!

It may say Farm Supply, but they also have Local Goods, plants, books, vitamins & essential oils etc. Great staff.

Decent place to get some plants that aren't too overpriced.

A nice variety of things in the store. Just unloaded some freight and decided to do some browsing.
