Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Arborg – 2024

Got Combo C and Combo D. Super good! The breading on the fried items tastes like fried doughnut--crispy outside but chewy inside. The whole meal tasted both wholesome and guilty at the same time!

The restaurant for sure needs updating ! The food and owners are always amazing Great value

When we dined IN Golden Lake, the food & service was very good. However subsequently we ordered take away twice -- and we were VERY disappointed in the food. The chop suey we ordered had so much liquid dripping from the Styrofoam box that they tied a plastic bag around it (measured more than 1/2 cup of juices n the bag upon getting it home). Why they did not just pour it off, we do not understand! The first time that we were disappointed in the take out, we let it go. We gave them a second chance to deliver the great food we had eaten inside the restaurant and were disappointed again. To their credit, they are very polite and did offer to replace the unappetizing dishes, though we declined to drive back to town. Though we would try eating IN the restaurant once more if we were in Arborg, we will not order take away again. The Styrofoam boxes are terrible.

Definately amongst the best donuts in my life and I buy them everywhere and anywhere. The glazed yeast donut was crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy inside - better than a fresh Krispy Kreme. Chocolate glazed was perfect with creamy icing and the fritter was top notch too. The white powdered donuts were the best I've ever had and they're a must for road tripping. Drive out of your way for these.

Amazing! The service was so friendly, they were great at communicating when I placed a custom order for a party. The cupcakes turned out so beautiful and tasted delicious. Thank you for such a kind and welcoming experience!

In From Winnipeg, street parking, great customer service, awesome variety of goodies, took home some cinnamon buns, cookies, apple fritters (customer recommended), donuts, blueberry fritter. Worth the trip, will return.

Staff don’t know how to deal customer. They don’t even change their gloves after one customer an their prices are high from all subways around Manitoba if you buy with vegi patty . Extremely bad experience never gonna come again

Food is on par with other subways, very clean , service at lunchtime 11~1 is a bit slow maybe it’s just me.

The borscht was sooo good yummy. We had a great lunch what a meal. The service was outstanding thanks ladies . Mushroom swiss burger was huge and Soo good. I had a ruban the meat was prefect great sour kraut it was made prefect. Thanks for the great meal

I had the borscht, then ordered chicken fingers and perogies. My husband the same. The borscht was ok, but only luke warm, not hot. The chicken fingers were very heavily breaded and are a frozen product they deep fry. The perogies looked and tasted like the frozen Cheemos perogies you buy at the grocery store, the cheapest ones by the way. The atmosphere is very outdated, dark and dingy. It is fully carpeted with seams coming apart and floors very dirty everywhere. The waitress was not friendly at all. She didn't like that I asked if the chicken fingers were real chicken or a bi-product. When serving our food, she threw it down in front of us and walked away. Did not acknowledge that I said thank you. We went based on the 4.4 rating, but I would never go back there. I gave it a 1.

Food is always good and usually pretty fast. We've stayed there, too, and the rooms are decent, dated but in a cool way, and affordable.
