Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Fort Qu'Appelle – 2024

I go here alot until now the last 3 or 4 times I either got the wrong order and just about every time they forget something In my order the last time I went not only did they forget something but our buns were moldy when I brought them back they gave me my money back that I asked for but said nothing no apology and they were not surprised like as if they didn't care or already knew they were serving old rotten food very disappointed this used to be a good place but is now being ran into the ground

Very good experience. Showed up at the start of a lunch rush. Food came out quickly, was hot and everything tasted great. Fast work from the staff but also pleasant. Very clean restaurant and washroom. Top score for this location.

Well, I’d not usually do a fast food review, but the staff here were soooo nice and handled a huge family order perfectly. So props to everyone working at 10:30AM on August 25th.

Food was huge portion. For small town it was good. Not a fan of ham in my rice but it was ok. I was impressed with the portion size. Took take out as inside did not look like you could eat inside.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and the food ain't bad.

The food here is always clean and fresh, but no matter how many dishes you order they all taste exactly the same. I wish they would try and be a little more authentic Chinese cooking.

The kind folk at Pen's took pity on us stragglers. They had just finished high tea service when we showed up, but they graciously let us in for a very late lunch. No pictures of the excellent Asian combo ( chicken balls, chow main ans spring rolls) or the perfect clubhouse sandwich. The chef brought us a plate of pastries to let us know what we missed out on! Five stars, and absolutely on our #hwy1 radar.

You have to try their salad with homemade dressing. Just delicious! Super friendly owner and chef! Hidden Gem! You must visit and try this place!

Such a great family restaurant. 100% worth the drive. Food presentation is classy and picture worthy! Mario, the chef, will always make sure your plate is worth the wait during busy business hours. With a smile. You can definitely taste the quality in the food. Such a sweet family ran/owned business. Great service!

Came here tonight for dinner with family, first time - and we were really impressed with the food and the service! Really delicious menu items, and our server was so awesome. We will definitely be back. Good amount of food for the price, home-cut fries were delicious! Only area for improvement in my opinion would be to clean up the bathrooms (could use a deep clean and fresh coat of paint, and soap) this mattered to me because I have a child that touches everything .

This is one of the gyms you find when you explore freely. Greek salad portion was huge. I had the steak and shrimps special. Everything cooked to perfection and even they provided blue cheese when I asked. Loaded potatoes were really delicious. The place could use a bit of decoration and better tables and seats but overall, great experience. Server was very friendly and attentive. Definately coming back when I am in town next time.

Stopped there for 1st time today. Had their Steak Sandwich with butter sautated Mushrooms. Both were very good, did not even HP'ed the steak. Wife fish and fresh cut fries were excellent. Didn't have room for German Chocolate Cake, but next you bet. Excellent service by Jocelyn also.

The lady who waited on us was awesome! The steak sandwich was the special and mine was way over done so sent it back and got a bowl of hamburger soup instead...it was so delicious! If my steak sandwich would have been cooked right i would give a 5 star.

Great people and food went their for happy hour 1/2 price ribs and chicken wings we got 2 double order's wow lots of food and price was great 33 bucks plus we had 2 drinks .Will be going back

We were in Fort Qu'Appelle for the weekend on a camping trip. Stopped in for food and drinks and was not disappointed! I had the special, the fajita grilled cheese on sourdough and it was to die for. My girlfriend had the grilled chicken burger? Which was also amazing, the chicken was so good. P.s I'm sorry if I'm butchering the names of the food, but I'm trying, I can't remember them word for word. The fries were also really good! 10/10 would recommend and go here again. Staff was friendly and welcoming, served in a timely fashion and prices were very reasonable. Also the atmosphere of the place is very cool too! Had places to sit both inside and out

Love it always great food

I really like this bar, I enjoy the owners and the food but my last time there was not right. We ordered a meal and 2 teas for $3.00 each, which in this area is a fairly high price for tea. When we finished the small pot of tea we asked for some hot water as that would give us 2 cups of tea. We got our hot water which was fine, finished up dinner and proceeded to leave. Only to find that the waitress charges an extra $3.00 for each pot of hot water - no new tea bag just $3.00 for hot water. Watch your bill at this place.

It has been years since I was at a Robins and sadly it wasn’t worth wiping out that joy of nostalgia. I know it’s small and the selection was also small. I just wish they had more classics like the crueller and the long John. We didn’t stay- just a quick bit on the road trip.

The bathroom was a little dirty, the rest of the restaurant was clean, the donuts tasted a bit stale, the coffee could have been better. Needled to add more sugar instead of just spoon scooping.

Jan 31, 2021-Drove up on our snowmobiles during Covid times and there was plenty of tables available because this place is huge! Had the same Robins special and it was excellent as always. The owner seems to care about what he serves. A nice place to go to feel normal during these times, just wear your mask until seated. (4 years ago) Ordered Robin's Special sandwich which was delivered to our table on square white glass dinner plate! The presentation was super! It was toasted and the absolute best tasting sandwich I've had. We were asked how everything was when we were done. Fantastic!

We got greeted by a lady with a beautiful smile, she is so friendly and nice, we already know we are going to get a good experience l. Server was very polite, order was accurate, food was hot and fresh, and thats everything you need on a dining experience. Thank you

That all dressed pizza was amazing, buddy from Regina came out, went for a round of golf (was great) and then topped it off with a Pie! Service was great and the pizza was awesome! Thank you to the staff and cook

$38 for a steak, with two sides which were fries and a salad. Three quarters of the plate were fries and the other quarter was shared by the steak and a few mushrooms . The steak was very tough and she ate very little. The salad came first it was a large portion and good. I cannot complain about the service, it was great! I ordered chicken finger and fries, three chicken fingers that were over cooked . I dont have a picture of that but again the fries over powered the plate!

Mission Ridge Winter Park provided an exceptional skiing and snowboarding experience. The tubing added a different level of excitement, making it a great destination for family fun. The well-organized setup and facilities ensured a nice day out, thoroughly enjoyed by both kids and adults. Highly recommended for a winter adventure.

Since I am used to go skiing on big mountains in Austria, the rather small size of this resort was a bit of a surprise for me (hence the one empty star). Besides that I still had a great time. …

Authentic food, really enjoy the huge variety as they cook everything from scratch, butter chicken is my favorite. Mo delivers great service and has been a great friend.

Just had an amazing Indian meal at this lovely restaurant in Fort Quapellle. Food was so delicious and service was wonderful. We had chicken biryani and Korea and both were incredible. We will definitely be back!

First actual Indian cuisine I have had in Saskatchewan. It was amazing. Our server, Moe was exceptionally friendly.

When something is simple yet effective it makes for a wonderful experience. I was in Fort Qu’Appelle for work when a coworker suggested this place for an early lunch. I had the Valley Egger and an Apple Fritter Donut. The hashbrowns were seasoned !! The bar is low but they nailed it. They tasted seasoned, fresh and buttery. And the pickles on a breakfast sandwich just elevated it. I didn’t even think pickles were a good idea, but it was. The star of the show was of course the bun. Home made, straight from the famous Indian Head Bakery. But I couldn’t leave without trying some of their bakery. This place had a WALL of home made bread and pastries. I got their Apple fritter donut they made in house. While I was disappointed it didn’t have apple chunks, it still tasted delicious and fresh. Now, for the best part of all. This entire experience was only 30 min and costed me $11.26!!! THATS WITH TAX AND 20% tip. It was baffling. Honestly, you would do well driving out here just for the experience and the cost. Fort Q is really beautiful. I can’t wait to return and I highly recommend this place.

Really busy place and the server was fantastic. She didn't seem stressed or overwhelmed despite the kitchen calling her name and doing the job of about 4 people. Good food at an affordable price. Highly recommend. Thanks Sabrina! (Hope I heard it correctly from the Kitchen)
