Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Watrous – 2024

I recently dined at Manitou Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I especially loved the unique flavors and presentation. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy a meal! Highly recommended!

A nice assortment of baked goods. We tried the large size muffins. In order from best texture and flavour to least were- carrot, bran with raisin, cranberry, blueberry. They also had sugar covered knots, danish, cheese biscuits, etc etc. We got 7 products for $14.

The food is always delicious, huge portions, great prices, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Our absolute favourite Chinese restaurant. The ginger beef is amazing; we order it every time.

The food here is excellent. In fact the lemon chicken is about the best I've ever had! Prompt service, huge portions, and reasonable prices. Why can't Saskatoon have a Chinese restaurant like this?!

We did not enjoy our meal. The portions were huge but the food was tasteless. Deep fried shrimp was 95% batter and greasy. Chop Suey was greasy and salty. Fried rice had no flavour. Will not go back. Do not recommend.

Great place. We moved to town recently and went for supper at TBs for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. Great service. Laid back atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Good food. The owner, Lane, even dropped by our table to introduce himself when he realized we were new customers. We'll definitely return.

As a long time resident of Watrous, choices of where to eat are limited and variety in food options is even more rare. TB's has the "best" thin crust pizza in town. When I say best, I don't mean it's always good. More often than not, we've been given the wrong type of pizza, had a pizza with an undercooked crust, and once not received our order because the person working gave it to another customer. Most recently we had to go order in person for a delivery order because their phone was not working AGAIN. While ordering the woman working was rude and told me that they only had one burger patty in the entire restaurant. I paid, asked for receipt and before I could find out how long it would take, she had left and I had to yell across the restaurant to find out when to come back. If you like to gamble, order from TB's because it's anyone's guess as to whether you'll get your food or even the right type of food your ordered.

Decided to give this a place a try on our last night of our hunting trip and I'm glad we did. This place has great food and friendly staff. We were expecting typical bar type food but we were all blown away by the quality and presentation of the food. Fried chicken is excellent. As we were about to leave the manager or owner got us a round of beers on the house for no reason! Would definitely return again.

The only restaurant that was open in Watrous Downtown on Easter Sunday! But it didn't disappointment us. My daughter super love their chicken balls :) The meal package for 4 was very worth it. Great food.

We three had supper on a Sunday evening. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered egg rolls, special fried rice, ginger beef and lemon chicken with pop to drink. The restaurant isn't licensed to serve alcohol. The food was hot, plentiful and very tasty. There were takeaway leftovers for another meal. The bill was about $60 with tip. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Chinese food! Probably one of the best I've had here in saskatchewan for a long time. Very authentic and rare find these days!

They will take care of all your aches and pains

We visited for the first time today and had two incredible burgers. I don’t know what they do to their fries but I would like to eat those every day of my life. Everyone was super friendly. The building itself could use some love and maintenance, but in the end it’s part of the charm. You have to go to this place.

Great little gem of a bar/ patio along the beach! Amanda, our server, was excellent, very pleasant and quite knowledgeable about the resort and the building. The bar itself, inside, is very dark, like most bars ... but it was the outside beach patio that was great. Shade from the sun. A view of the lake. Music in the background. And, they even had a beach sand volleyball court right in front of you. On a warm Wednesday, it was great to get that special of wings and O16. Nice cool pint of beer. And SOME OF THE BEST WINGS I have ever tasted! It's a must stop there again!

My husband and I have been very impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the Town staff since we moved here last year. Yesterday was no exception. I applied for my business license and was not only very pleased with the ease with which it was processed, I was also extremely grateful for the encouragement given my Town staff. They expressed genuine support and enthusiasm for my work. It is a delight to be part of this community and I am grateful for the staff at the Town of Watrous office! As the “face” of the town, they are doing a great job of creating a positive, welcoming space and making us feel welcome in the community. Thank you!

Always super easy to deal with .

So I've never been to Saskatchewan before. But if this place is representative of the whole province, it's my favorite. Everyone was so nice to us. They even turned on American football for us even though hockey was on. And there's so much to do in this place, gamble, pool, darts, kokanee, etc. There's so much cool memorabilia on the walls, a beautiful enclosed porch area, a big screen, plenty of other tvs, and great food. Thanks for having us Grace!

Great food! Excellent service! Love the plants and atmosphere! Was exactly what we needed after a swim at the spa! Waiter was awesome, food delicious. Amazing flavour, loved the chicken quesadilla soup!

Was it a fluke?, Could they do it again? The answer is this, No it wasn’t a fluke. This restaurant always provides, the best experience! Quality meals any amazing prices, the food in this place is only rivalled by the friendly staff, and their attention to detail. You will be impressed.

Pizza was decent. Had 2 orders of chicken wings. It's chicken breast pieces cut up and breaded. They're ok but they ain't wings.

Food was good, but the waitress was terrible. Did not greet me at the door, did not check if I needed a refill during my meal, did not bring the debit machine after I finished dessert, she kept hiding in the back room. Was very difficult to order with her broken English. I saw two other customers walk out because of the same issue, and then I was the only one there. No excuse on a slow afternoon. I don’t know if she is new, but seems to have no clue how to serve customers. I hope the manager reads this and has a talk with his staff, or finds a replacement, otherwise you will continue to lose business. One of the few times I haven’t tipped

Busy place, popular with the locals and tourists! The steak was made perfectly medium rare & tasty! The cutlets were good too. Waitress was a bit hard to understand but try's hard, I don't think she speaks much English. The atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. Highly recommend the red house wine! Prices were reasonable.
