Worth every penny. The scallops were the best I’ve had in my life, ever. We ordered a variety of apps, wines, entrees and desserts. Every single bite was amazing
Great wine selection and the food is delicious. A more Europe take to dining, everything is made fresh per order so it takes a little longer but good quality food is worth the wait! The location is great, right in the middle of downtown. The perfect spot for a romantic date night.
Spectacular food, drinks and service! We got to sit in the “alley” behind the bar since I brought my dog. Wine Cellar made my dog (and me and my parents), feel like guests of honor. Our bottle of wine was wonderful, we shared a couple salads that were all delicious, and our entrees were spot-on. I’m not sure if my dog tasted her special steak dinner because she inhaled it. It has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with fine dining experience. I’m just sad this place isn’t in Denver because I’d come here all the time, but will be back every time we visit my parents!

First time at this location - we dine at Tejas Roadhouse on every road trip across America. This one did not disappoint. IPA on tap was on point The ribeye was a PERFECT mid-rare, excellent customer service! We were able to check-in on Google Maps ahead of arriving and were sat almost immediately. Excellent decor and atmosphere. Must stop when in Rapid City!
Went during the busiest time of the evening, service was still excellent. TJ our server was so on it we never had to ask for anything he just brought it. Multiple TV's around with not just sports on so it was very enjoyable as well. Then we got our steak and it was cooked so beautifully it almost melted in my mouth! The sauteed mushrooms and onions on top made it to die for. Plenty of side options , also very delicious. I had a house salad and loaded mashed potatoes. The blooming cactus thing blew Outbacks out of the water although I didn't like the dipping sauce as much. For as many people that were packed into that place, it wasn't too loud or overwhelming. Overall definitely going back here when I want some steak!
They sat us fairly quickly and the service was on point. The food was very tasty. Steak was cooked and seasoned just right. Those bread rolls though!!!! Sheesh they are good. The drinks were tasty. The overall experience was great. They do offer military discount which is nice. I’d go back for sure.

Excellent stop! Our service was great. The server was great with the kids. My turkey sandwich was amazing, perfect mix of spicy and sweet with the jalapeño jam and peaches. Burger was delicious as well. My daughter was very happy with her pancake. Was a happy stop for lunch.
Can not explain how much we enjoyed our experience here. The service here was some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and very personable and definitely added to our experience. We did the indecision menu and had 4 of the most amazing dishes we’ve ever had. Clear attention to detail by the kitchen, wonderful flavors and beautifully plated. Definitely leave room for the butter cake!
A fantastic place to stop and grab some breakfast. The service was fantastic and the staff were so nice. They have a great gluten free selection as well. A little on the pricey side but you can taste the quality in the food.
Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews is an innovative dining establishment that combines a love for classic American comfort food with a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. Located in…
This place seemed popular, due to the number of cars in the parking lot and was close to the hotel, so we decided to try Sickies after a day of travel. We stepped into the green highlighted building with concrete floors and garage memorabilia hung everywhere one would look. The tabletops displayed garage scenes and the metal chairs had black cushions. On the table you find papertowels, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and specials. A number of TVs are placed around the restaurant and the booths sit a little higher than the floor. Our server could not give any feedback on the beers brewed for the restaurant - nor offered to find out information (not on-sight from what I could gather) and while our littles were served and had almost finished their meals, the adult entrées had yet to arrive. At this point our server asked if we were ready for our check and was overly surprised when I mentioned we had not received our meals. Per our server: something strange is going on back there (the kitchen), was the offer of why our food was delayed.....when it was delivered my fries were cold but my chicken sandwich was beyond the point of hot. While the sandwich was good, after it cooled, it is a messy one to eat, as the bottom bun is soaked in ranch. No genuine apology was offered. Overall we left disappointed.
Met some family here for lunch and a few beers. Food is really good, reasonable prices, and great service. The place was very busy but the waitress did a great job and we didn't wait. Lots of choices for food, wish I would have tried the wings as I hear they are really good! We have one around where I live, will definitely go check it out!
A cool place dedicated to sandwiches (mostly hamburgers). They do have other options on the menu as well if you are wanting something else. We were sat immediately and the service was really good. The waitress did have an attitude a few times but she could have been having a bad day. My fries were on the under cooked side which was disappointing. The dessert menu looked really good. I would give the place another try.

Not being from the area.. Our experience started bad as the greeter gave us a stand offish attitude. The service was delayed/slow. Food was okay. The appetizer was not. We did get apologies from the manager & wait staff for the appetizer along with a make up piece of desert.
The main reason we choose this restaurant was the good reviews and honestly, it's proximity to the hotel...it was righy there. The service was great. Quick and helpful, just the right amounts of being there and not being there. The food. The salmon was done really well. Salmon can be dry but they know how to do salmon here. The chicken was OK. The sauce was excellent but the meat was dry. You needed thr sauce to get that chicken down. The atmosphere was...colourful. We were right beside the pool tables and the other patrons looked like they spent a lot of time in bars. A solid 4 stars.
Steak was rare not Med-rare. Not bad but not what was ordered. Hamburger ordered with bacon and cheese didn't have the bacon or cheese (paid extra for them,) as well as being burnt. The Salmon salad had a small piece of chicken breast in it. The children's chicken strips ($10) had 2 tiny strips and soggy fries. We were willing to spend more for the convenience of being in the hotel we stayed in. It wasn't worth it. Go across the street to Burger King. At least when Burger King disappoints you it was kind of expected. The host was good and that's the only positive thing.

We are out of towners, and we're pleased to have found this family-style restaurant near our hotel. Plenty of menu choices...including all day breakfast; reasonable prices; fast seating; excellent service. Our personal favorites are the wraps. Both were full and tasty! Highly recommend!
This was my second working layover here in Rapid City, South Dakota. It would have been a whole year since I've visited. Me and my bestie/ working flight attendant on this 4 day mid-August 2024 flt sequence decided to take the recommendation of a few of the hotel workers and shuttle driver at our overnight hotel here in the nearby area. We were greeted upon arrival and quickly sat down at our preference of a booth or table. Shortly after being led to our dining table, a very nice new waitress, Wendy, sweetly approaches to introduce herself as a newer hire and offers us information about the dinner specials. I ordered the baked cod that comes w/ coleslaw and chose the mashed potatoes and creamy white gravy side. For a little upcharge of $5 and some change, I opted to add the soup w/ salad bar option. My fellow FA/ bestie ordered a 2 grilled porkchop dinner w/ the soup and side salad bar. The food was tasty and enjoyable. Our waitress provided excellent customer service and was a true delight. After we were both pretty stuffed, we asked Wendy what she would recommend to try for a dessert. She recommended the tripple chocolate cake w/ a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was delicious and very generous size. All in all, it was a great dining experience. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving a look over and trying for yourself. Until the next time I'm in this area to try the other food options and specials. Mahalo (Thank you) Millstone Fam Restaurant staff, owners, cooks, and Ms. Wendy. We look forward to returning.
Was looking for a local restaurant and decided on this place. Glad I did! They have a salad and soup bar that had other tempting options like chocolate pudding and fruit. My waiter, Sam recommended the fried chicken and it was delicious. The service was outstanding! All the employees were polite and my waiter checked up on me periodically to make sure that I had everything I needed and was enjoying my meal. If you are on the lookout for a local dining experience, this restaurant will not disappoint!

Such an amazing atmosphere. I love rooftop bars. We started at tinderbox and the owner sent us over here to the rooftop! It was my partners 21st birthday and everyone there made us feel so welcomed. Emilio the manager was very kind and offered to get us a round of drinks for my partners birthday. Everyone we met up there were very social-able and outgoing. Benji the bartender at the time made josh a delicious drink called the paper plane! My partner said it was the best drink of the night. The view is spectacular, very special place to spend time. They also carry cigars and you can smoke them outside next to the fire (which I am so grateful for their fire pits because it gets a little cold out there!)
Where to start on this…. I guess at the front door where we met annually nice and sincer Gentleman who gave us our card pass and instructions how to get to Juniper since we have never been there. Met an Awesome young man in the elevator who worked there and gave us an over view of Juniper and what to expect. Greeted by Jamie and led to our table looking east over the city!!! Great view. Jamie was also our server and helped and made suggestions for our meal!! She was SUPER SWEET and knew her job…. And was soooo much fun as she helped make this a Special Evening for my wife and I. We started out with an appetizer of Bread with French Baguette bread, Garlic Butter, Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil… one of my favorites!! My wife ordered the the Roasted Beet Salad and I a Caesar Salad. Both Excellent!!! Our Main entrée was Wild Caught Alaskan Halibut and I had the Steak Special with Scallops. Both Dishes were INCREDIBLE!!! The flavor of her Halibut was outstanding and I would order anytime. But I have to say about my steak…. It was the BEST STESK I’ve had in Rapid City in the 51 years I’ve live here. Cooked to PERFECTION (Med Rare) with the most outstanding sear that added sooo much flavor!!! Only place that compares to this is Mortan’s Steak House in St. Louis. This was Truley a night for us to remember with the view of Rapid City at night, the EXCELLENT FOOD and SERVICE!! I can’t Thank Jamie, the Chefs and Staff for making our Night Out one to remember!!!!!
Juniper never fails to impress. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary with a night out to dinner. We’ve always loved our experience when dining at this restaurant. The food and service were sensational! I gave the atmosphere 5 stars as well, but we were sad to find out that this will be our last time dining there, due to the membership policy.

Had dinner her with my wife and some business friends. Juniper moved to Vertex and the food and atmosphere is simply amazing! I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. I've never had a fancy salad, and this one was perfect! Everything that came out was delicious and no one complained! The drinks are good also but service was a little slow. It was fine with us as it gave us time to take show our out of town guests the views, etc. Overall we had a great experience and I was very impressed! Price is on the higher side, but absolutely worth it! Will definitely be back!
One of the two best meals I have had this year. I had the fillet and it was devine. The waitress was super friendly and went out of her way to make us happy and satisfied.
Our very favorite restaurant!! Best service, best atmosphere, kindest owners, and the very best filets we have ever had. Every time we go to Juniper we absolutely adore the experience. We both had the featuted petite filet mignon and the octopus and it was phenomenal. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is always so pleasant. The Christmas decorations made it even more intimate and special than it always is. A+++++++ Another trip to Juniper! The surf and turf was phenomenal!!

This was amazing. We stopped here to get some solid food from a restaurant that wasn't a chain and Jambonz Deux didn't disappoint. We were immediately greeted by Sharon who was delightful! She makes all the desserts they sell herself. She was very attentive and even brought out things I wanted (extra sauce etc) before I had the chance to order it. She was the cherry on top of this fulfilling meal. This is a gem of a restaurant and when we find ourselves back here, this will be on our food list. ** The gumbo was especially amazing, red beans and rice had great flavor and the homemade fried pickles? Swoon.
Staff is always super friendly. Had a crab and shrimp boil in November 2024 and it was absolutely fantastic! They had ran out of corn by the time I had ordered, but took a few dollars off my meal (didn’t take away from how good the food was!).
Overall, it was a solid first visit. The service was quick and friendly. My bowl of gumbo was super tasty, and my wife loved her jambalaya. They also have a classic kid's menu, which worked out great for us since our daughter wouldn't eat most of the items on the regular "Louisiana" menu.

A great place to stop for a beer or two and a meal. We liked their large menu, that included some vegetarian options like soup, salad, and Beyond Burgers. (They can substitute a Beyond Burger patty on any of their burgers in the menu) I had the fish tacos, which were pretty yummy but could have used a little more spicy sauce. My wife had the tuna salad, which was fairly good, but a small portion for a dinner salad. The Firehouse Red Ale was pretty good and reminded me a lot of more authentic Irish Red Ales that I have had in the past. Service was fairly good. They have indoor and outdoor seating options, and a nice bar area, too. I would recommend it for casual dining and for their great menu and beer selections.
Our server was super awesome and checked on us often. We had the Hook and Ladder (my choice was 1/2 Ruben Sandwich and a cup of Gorgonzola Ale) and the South African Cricket Burger with fried. My Sandwich and soup was really good, but the bread was a little over toasted. But not enough to make me not eat it and the soup was amazing. The Burger was Excellent and the fries were the same as most other places, just average. The atmosphere was neat! Lots to look at. I would absolutely recommend this as a stop to make!
A nice hidden gem in downtown Rapid. The staff was very nice even though he was very new. All the food came out delicious but my pork was on the fatty side and needed to be shredded more for nachos. I would definitely go back and try more things.

Exceptional Dining Experience Close to Our Hotel We stayed at a nearby hotel and, feeling too tired to drive anywhere for dinner, decided to give this restaurant a try. We were so pleased with our meal the first night that we returned the next evening as well. This is a very casual place with excellent service. The restaurant is surrounded by fields with cows, and they mention using local meat, which seems quite likely given the quality. While I'm not a steak expert, I can confidently say that their steaks (we tried different ones on both visits) were among the best I've ever had—on par with some of the great steaks I've enjoyed at 5-star restaurants in Las Vegas and New York. The soups, sides, and appetizers were all fantastic too. My only minor gripe is that I'm not a big fan of salads served with whole lettuce leaves. It's a trend I've noticed, but I would have preferred if the romaine in my Caesar salad had been chopped. If you're looking for a comfortable dining experience with truly excellent steaks, I highly recommend this place.
We hadn’t been to The Delmonico Grill in years as we just recently moved back to town. However, it used to be the spot to go for a nice meal for a special occasion or just a night out with friends. So, when we had friends coming in to town this weekend we thought it would be nice to meet them there for dinner. Well, we were wrong. It was not nice. It was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in town. The only redeeming aspects of our meal were that we were sat on time and our server was very nice. We started with the cheese plate. It was fine, but not great. Tons of cheese, not enough stuff with the cheese to pair it with. That, and the strawberries they put on the board were really sad, kinda dry and shriveled. Salads were ok, though the lettuce was all pretty wilted and it was mostly lettuce. Raspberry vinaigrette was tasty. Nice conversation with friends which was good because our meals took a LONG time to come out and we were there early in the evening. Meals finally come out, they look nice. They are all cold as ice. Not like, oh these could use to be a little warmer. No, like they’d been sitting for 15 minutes before anyone bothered to bring them to us. Like 3 of us had ordered the Bourbon Mashed Sweet Potatoes and they were so cold that they didn’t even melt the butter placed on top of them. I tasted them, and they were almost flavorless anyway. Could not eat them though because they were so cold. I ordered the bison and it looked like it was cooked appropriately but was also cold. I had shrimp added and they were both cooked to the point of dry but then had clearly sat and were cold. The sauces, I added the Dolphin Street, were ice cold. Same for everyone at the table. Basically no one finished their meal, we did not have the time to have everything cooked again from the start. I ate my bison as I’d paid a fair penny for it and it could have been good had it been warm I’d guess. But, even warm it wasn’t going to be anything special. Bottom line, terrible dining experience and we won’t be back. I’ll make the drive to Custer for fine dining. Really disappointing.
The lunch menu is extremely limited, and the offerings were just OK. The saving grace was dessert, the creme brulee and cheesecake were the highlights of the meal. Linda took great care of us, but for $100, I was hoping for better food and selection

Celebrated our anniversary here and was worth it. There were plenty of options to choose from that arrived as large portions. Everything was fresh, and steaks were prepared as requested. Staff were attentive and friendly. Mixed drinks we had were just ok, didn't taste much alcohol for the price, would stick with beer or wine.
We looked for a good steakhouse in Rapid City while we were visiting. Definitely made the right choice to go here. The food was amazing. Everything was perfect. The restaurant was warm and inviting. If we are ever in town again, this will be a place we would eat again.
Very Dakota! Like any other steak house! Good steaks, good drinks, Very American. Bread is good, like a sweet donut. Service was really good ! Don't get the fried mac and cheese! Or the 3 sister soup! Was not good. Philly sandwich needs improvement.

Good food with plenty of options in the menu. The restaurant is quite spacious and great for families or a big group. We ordered burgers and fried fish and loved them. Highly recommended.
