The Old Mill Restaurant in Pigeon Forge is a must do, at least once! The restaurant serves good, hearty, Southern comfort food and has a cool history, The building itself is charming, nestled next to a working grist mill, and the food is pure nostalgia. We tried the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes & okra and smothered fried steak with mashed potatoes & Mac & cheese. Both were tender and flavorful ~ just like grandma used to make. Each meal comes with endless sides and their famous corn fritters, which were honestly worth the visit alone. The service was friendly, and the portions were generous! I took off one star on food because my okra was kinda cold/old tasting. Everything else was delicious. ~ Be prepared to wait. This is a popular place to eat! With good reason ✨️ After eating, we shopped at their General Store, where you can purchase cornmeal, flour, and other goodies that are milled on-site. It’s a fun way to bring a taste of The Old Mill back home and makes for a unique souvenir. Great food, rich history, and a little something to take home—it’s a true gem! Definitely worth a stop! We had lunch here and the food was very good. The corn fritters and corn chowder were amazing and complimentary with our meal. They were kind enough to get us some extra corn fritters as well since they were so good and disappeared. I wish I had been hungrier and could have gotten dessert which looked great.
We loved this place. Food was fast, service was excellent and our server, Victor did a great job telling us about the history. The corn chowder was amazing! Great spin on a classic with either peppers or pimentos was spot on! The fritters were really good also and came with some maple butter to make them even better. Girlfriend had the club sandwich was she said was really good and I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was great and having the view of the river made the atmosphere even better. We highly recommend this place for a great scratch-cooked meal.

It's a very cute restaurant! They have fresh baked bread daily, and they can buy and they utilize it in their menu. I personally like coming here over The Old Mill. I think the quality of food is better and I like the atmosphere a bit better as well (although The Old Mill is a staple!) We always sit outside, where they have shaded areas and a nice little pond. The service is always really good as well! There is almost always a wait when we go so be sure to put your name in ahead of time.
The Old Mill Pottery House Cafe is another "sister" restaurant my wife and I ate at during our recent trip to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Just as our experience at The Park Grill, "sister" to The Peddler, was, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service at Pottery House. For starters, they know how to cook a medium steak to absolute perfection. We went to Pottery House a few days after our visit to The Chop House and the differences between their "medium" and Pottery House's medium were stark and noticeable. My wife ordered a chicken dish that had terrific flavoring, and the salad and bread were also wonderful. Service was quick and attentive. Be forewarned, however, that just like The Old Mill, the parent to this sister restaurant, reservations are not accepted, and the line is often quite long. However, that being said, the wait it well worth it.
Fantastic food and service. The food is served of pottery made by the Old Mill Pottery House. You can go next door and get your own when you're done. You can also buy baked goods to go. Shrimp and grits ($13.99) was excellent, good texture and flavor. Pumpkin cream pie was also fresh and delicious. Good prices and they do a military discount.
Sunliner Diner is a vibrant and nostalgic eatery that captures the essence of classic American dining while infusing it with modern flair. Located in the heart of the community,…
Mike was great! First time in Tennessee, and the first time we had breakfast, we decided to try the Sunliner Diner. Such a great experience, and fun ambiance! 1950s feel, even the menu was a newspaper, which was so funny and loved the fun facts posted inside as well as a bit of history on Pigeon Forge. Would definitely recommend to folks visiting the area. We did visit in late November mid-morning, so there was plenty of parking and did not have to wait to be seated in a great booth. Loved the experience. Thank you, Mike for the hospitality for us first-timers!
If you had told me prior to our trip to the Pigeon Forge area that one of the best locations we would eat at was a diner, I would have laughed. But that is exactly what ended up happening. Sunliner Diner boasts an impressive atmosphere inside. The 1950's decor and music highlighted a more simpler time. Service was exceptional and the burger, fries, and milkshake, all were above board. Sunliner Diner has definitely made our list of places we will be sure to return during our next visit to the area.
This place is 10/10! It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. The entire vibe is on point. The food was AMAZING! everything was delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough! The fried pickles and Sunliner burger were great! The service was amazing. We were there celebrating a birthday and the team came out and sang happy birthday to our table. Beautiful merch is sold inside. Parking lot is enormous! They serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day. I paid $60 for 2 people.

Very pretty restaurant with a store downstairs , but honestly not overly impressed with the food or service. The garlic butter on the bread was great, but ours was a bit dry, I love chicken and dumplings but this one just wasn’t doing it for me. The fried okra, the greens, and the green beans were really good and honestly they were the stars of the show. The chosen entrees of pot roast, country fried steak and dumplings were just alright. The gooey cake for dessert (chocolate) was the best part. I’d say stop in if you’re already at the island, but maybe try different entrees. maybe it was just an off night.
Beautiful restaurant! Great views of the island from your table, especially at night. The food is offered family style. You order 2,3, or 4 main courses and it comes with your choice of 4 sides. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. It’s all you can eat, so as soon as you run out of a main dish or side item, they offer you a refill. You do not get to go boxes. The meal also comes with dessert. Our service was great. Everyone was nice and patient. The bread served before your meal is wonderful. There was no food item we ordered that we didn’t like. HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for a delicious country meal. Recommend you make reservations beforehand because wait can be lengthy depending on when you visit. But, there is sooo many things to go on the island while you wait for your table, so it’s not bad!
This place was a 10/10. We came about 1 hour before closing and the food was fresh and delish. If you are looking for a family style restaurant then go here! We chose the 3 meats (friend chicken, fried fish, ribs) and 4 sides (mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and green beans). We also were given these cheddar biscuits that MELT in your mouth. The service was amazing! We loved our server. The entire table is buffet style, but the only rule is that you cannot take anything hope EXCEPT the dessert.

As I was hungry and my partner wasn’t we went in here for something quick to eat. The service was great, very friendly waiter and were served quickly. My drink was topped up before I had chance to ask. The portion sizes were good and the cocktail my partner had was also good. Prices reasonable and the atmosphere was also good. We were later in the evening so was a lot quieter than it probably can get
This was my first time here and it was a wonderful experience. The cheeseburger in paradise was very good and the volcano nachos were too die for plus the perfect margarita was outstanding. I loved the atmosphere and it was relaxing and not very busy. The gift shop was great and prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were great.
Variety of items in the menu. Had the jambalaya and the garlic bacon burger. I feel like the burger could have used more of a garlic flavor, didn’t taste much of it. Fries were good. The best were the mixed drinks! Had a few different ones and they were all great. We sat outside while they were playing live music. It was comfortable. They were busy, so the service was slow. Everyone was nice. Clean bathrooms.

I can’t say enough great things about the experience of dining here. My server Scarlett was warm, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. Every single dish was excellent. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. The decor is beautiful as well. You could sense how much your business matters. I felt so welcomed and appreciated as a customer and would definitely return.
Our waitress was through the sweetest ever. The whole experience was just that, and experience. They don't really explain how the ALL YOU CAN EAT WORKS. If you're not familiar with it, it's similar to Paula D's. My sister's chicken was blood red, and they tried to say it was brine. CLEARLY HALF DONE. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS COLD. The manager wanted to treat us as liars even tho the server said she had complaints all day. They still charged us half. And that was still too much! Never again, and we visit the area at least 2-3 times a year. Tried here because of reviews. This has taught me that people pallets and expectations are definitely different. I am a food explorer and know horrible when I taste it. Strawberry butter and biscuits were the most memorable items. Believe me, we tried wanting it, but it wasn't worth the stomach ache.
Went to breakfast at Mama's Farmhouse this morning. Very busy place and well worth the wait. This was a completely different way of being served food than we are used to, but it was really amazing. They serve their food family style. If you are not familiar with this type of serving, it's simple. They put all the food on the table and you take what you want. It is also all you can eat, so if you want a second on something, you just ask. Breakfast started with pinwheels, peach jam, and fruit along with two cups of strong, hot, delicious coffee. Then they lay out a feast on your table, which includes chicken tenders, sausage, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, hashbrown casserole, eggs, grits, waffles and chocolate gravy. Everything was fresh and delicious. I included a copy of the menu so you can read all about what was served. Thanks to Tiff for taking such good care of us.

We stopped here for lunch because of the great view. Even though it was very busy during lunchtime, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Pros • The service was excellent. • Portions were huge. • Great wine selection—highly recommend the white wine blend! Cons • Based on the good reviews, my expectations were high, but the food fell short. • Everything we ordered (salmon and chicken) was just okay—they are all missing flavor
We had a great experience here. Josh, our server, was excellent. The food was great. Not a bad wait time, but if it is, it's worth the wait. Great list of local beers! Try the Hefeweizen or Shotgun Wedding Brown Ale. We had fried deviled eggs, chicken strips, ribs, and the autumn harvest salad. All were very good! Salad Has a lot of flavor. Really wanted to try a burger, but there was so much to choose from! Next time. Shoestring fries are well-seasoned and very good. You get a lot of food.
My family and I recently dined at The Local Goat, and I can’t say enough about the exceptional experience we all had. The food was fantastic—every dish was delicious, and we were impressed by the variety and quality. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the caliber of the meals. What truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service. I have severe food allergies, which can make dining out a challenge, but our waiter, Michael, and the manager, Jeremy, went above and beyond to ensure my meal would be prepared safely. They asked detailed questions about my allergies and offered several options, so I could enjoy the meal with my family worry-free. Their genuine care and attention made us all feel welcome and valued. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great value, and exceptional service, I highly recommend The Local Goat. It’s perfect for families, and we’ll definitely be back!

Great place to eat! My first time and my wife’s second. My wife had the pulled pork smoked meat BBQ tray with steamed broccoli, French fries, garlic bread and pickles that came with honey bourbon BBQ sauce. I had the smoked all beef bologna sandwich with mashed potatoes. We liked the honey bourbon BBQ sauce so much we got a container to go. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
This review isn't for the restaurant but for its distillery next door. We did a tasting conducted by James, who was witty, fun, and knowledgeable. It is nice they give free tastings for Veterans. Favorites included the peach and watermelon moonshine and the Maple Brown Sugar Whiskey. Store is beautiful and they offer various multiple bottle discounts. Highly recommend going even if you aren't a whiskey fan since they have a large collection of Moonshine.
Great Spot!! Clean, cool interior and bar. Customer service was top-notch. Colton was fantastic. He helped guide us in choosing our moonshine flight. The Pineapple Upside-down Cake cocktail with their brand of vodka was phenomenal. He made sure to accommodate my food allergies, and they have gluten-free buns available. This is a must visit for both food and their distillery.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff and wide selection on the menu. I got the fish and chips which had good flavor and the portions were plenty. We got the cheese curds for appetizer and they were super good and plenty for both of us to share. The country punch drink was very good as well. My wife got the sirloin steak and she said it was cooked to perfection how she likes it. Overall this is a great place to eat with good prices and a very nice atmosphere. A++
Conveniently located in the Smoky Mountains near several hotels, the restaurant has a perfect location. However, the service was lacking, as the server walked away mid-order a few times. The food was decent — I ordered a medium sirloin, but it was overcooked and closer to well-done, which was disappointing. On the bright side, my partner's fajitas were excellent. The cheesecake was delicious, and the orange cake was massive, offering a generous portion size. Price was reasonable
Fun atmosphere. Had cheese curds to start and they were great. Wife had shrimp pasta, daughter had classic burger and tots and I had fish and chips. All were a good portion size. We were all very happy with our dinners. 32oz beer was nice and cold as well. Got a slice of chocolate cake and a slice of cheese cake with strawberry topping to go. Both were delicious

Placed an order online. I needed to make a request on the order due to an allergy which the app didn't allow. I called immediately to ask if they could accommodate and they never answered. I called 5 or 6 times when they finally answered the girl huffed and said i guess we can remake it. Mind you ive called multiple times at this point to try and make said request and you never answered. The order showed up incorrect and it wasn't even related to my request. They messed up the 2 items that were 100% menu item's. A pizza and sandwich with no modifications. They also called and asked us to come meet the driver so he didn't have to get out of his car and bring us the order.
Wow! Freshest pizza and cheesy sticks every time I order! Consistency means a lot to me, and they are always on it! On top of great customer service that a lot of places are losing right now
We stopped in here at 10pm after spending the day at Dollywood. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, even while they were so busy! The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious!

We visited Dick’s Last Resort in August a week before the end of Summer break for the girls. We waited an hour and a half to be seated. Was it worth the wait, no! The experience was good because it was our first time going to the restaurant. The waitress was nice and rude, all in good fun though. We loved our hats and what she wrote on them was funny. The drinks were watered way down and the food was nothing to brag about. All in all the new experience was nice.
We came here during our family vacation with our three adult daughters, our son-in-law, and our two granddaughters. Our two year-old granddaughter had a couple little meltdowns in the restaurant, and the waiter had our family cracking up with his responses to the meltdowns. The food was good. If you get offended by anything, do not come in here. Otherwise, we had a really good time. We also loved that when you order an alcoholic drink, you get to take home the glass as a souvenir.
Ryan was over the top funny! Had all of us cracking up. The way the other tables we included added to the fun. The drinks were good! We walked away with a great experience and stories to tell!

Service was great. Food was a bit pricey. Hubby ordered onion rings and got 3 so that was a bit of a shock. His meal was $25 so we expected a bigger portion. Everything tasted great! Dessert was a hit also.
Went on Labor Day evening so there was no wait which was awesome. Complimentary bread was great! Salad and Steak were awesome too! Prices a little higher than the menu I saw on Google maps.. ~$60 for 2 steak entrees still not bad
This place was very quick and very good! Our server Renee was amazing and the food was great! I got the spicy shrimp, the brisket burger, and the strawberry cake which was all delicious! I definitely recommend this place!

It was a Monday night and we waited for 45 minutes for a table at 6:50 pm. Everywhere you look, there is a TV, including a personal one at your table (you cannot change the channel). The food we had was great! Best buffalo sauce I’ve tasted. The Hawaiian luau burger was spicy. The employees were going as fast as they could. I would come back, but be prepared to wait.
This restaurant was recommended by a local on tiktoc. It was tucked away off the main road in Pigeon Forge. I was very impressed with the prompt and friendly service. The atmosphere is very relaxing if you like a sports bar setting. I ordered 6 boneless wings with fries and Mac n Cheese. My husband ordered the Big Mushroom Melt. To be honest, I really had a hard time choosing since there was a wide variety to choose from. Very delicious! I definitely will be back.
We started off with the fried pickles… these were probably the best fried pickles we’ve ever had!! I got boneless wings and my wife got the big daddy Mac and cheese burger!! This place was very good and a nice atmosphere! Molly was very knowledgeable about the menu and helping us get what we wanted 10/10 would recommend!

Over all very nice. Good for either couples or family. Nicely spread out and not loud at all. A good place to have dinner and have a conversation. The service was very very good. I highly recommend the hot crab dip, amazing! Wife's steak was equally amazing, cooked perfectly to her request and my burger was good. I would recommend and would go back
Nice place! They really care about the interiors and cleanliness of the place. Didn’t have to wait long, the service was good and the food was delicious, but I felt it a bit pricey since the food is like Bennett BBQ. Other than that, if you have the chance, go for it.
Love this place. The wait wasn't long. The food was amazing. We go here every time we are in town. We had the wings and onion rings and steak taco salad, and they were oh so good. Didn't care for the fries the waitress took them away but made us pay for them anyway. We didn't eat them. I gave them a 3 because she said she was taking it off but didn't. I dont remember her name, something like Lauren she was from Jamaica. Everything else was good..
