Nice restaurant overall. Food was good, not bursting with typical Indian flavours but okay. Curries had a bit of a metallic taste. Everything was served nice and hot. Service was amazing...warm, professional, attentive and efficient.

Had amazing experiences so far going to eat to this place. Dishes have good portion and flavour. Good presentation . Excellent service. Great atmosphere and a beautiful place. Love Indian food and this one is my favorite in Peterborough so far.

We had a great experience at this Indian restaurant! The vibe was amazing, and the Imperial Chicken Kurma was absolutely delicious. Just keep in mind, you’ll need to order the rice and naan separately. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

We visited "The Pin" with two friends, and everyone was pleased with their experience. The food was well-made and delicious, although the chicken could use more flavors and spices. I also tried the Provence tea, which was amazing. The owner is very nice and friendly. We will definitely go again and recommend it!

Definitely it’s not your typical restaurant, it’s hosted in century old house on King Street in Peterborough. Definitely provides different ambiance and setting. We enjoy it as it’s not typical busy restaurant. The quality of food is excellent, setting is very nice. Service was slow it took one hour to get our food, I feel sorry to one girl who was trying to do her best. Overall very good experience although you need to prepare to higher than your typical restaurant if you take into account fresh ingredients and atmosphere. It’s definitely a place to visit again. I took family for brunch and everyone was happy with their choice of food.

This place is such a gem. I took my sister here for brunch and will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere was relaxing, our server was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. The tea menu is extensive, which was such a nice surprise. Would highly recommend and I'll have to come back here for lunch or dinner one day.

I experienced Fresh Dreams for the first time last night. My friends and I had a lovely evening on the patio together. We drank Spanish Rose, conversed and laughed together while we awaited each dish to come to the table. Everything we had was phenomenal. Fresh, delicious flavours and healthy. We left feeling full but not overwhelmingly so. It was a gorgeous September. The patio was full of lovely individuals celebrating different events in their life.

It was wonderful experience! I enjoyed all the dishes especially the Lamb Chops and Paella. It gives cozy vibes and everyone’s so nice. Thank you Sandy for serving us!

The Spanish Paella is a Top 5 Dish All-Time. So flavourful. The Spanish Paella spice is so one of a kind. Eating it, it reminds me of a fusion of Teriyaki as it had that same sauce thickness, hint of soy, & tomato ALL COMBINED together. Even though the server said that none of these ingredients were in the Paella, those were just the flavours that were going through my palette while eating the Paella for the first time & I absolutely LOVED IT. Wow! So so good. That's definitely a Top 5 dish of All-Time. I do got to say that this place is hectic as the male owner is a very hectic kind of guy. That's the nature of this atmosphere & the other thing I have to note is they don't do debit or credit cards so it's a mission to get cash after your meal. All in all, the Spanish Paella is AMAZING. Also, I'm very happy to have met the Chilean server. First person I've met from Chile & also, the Canadian guy there is an awesome server. Great person.

I have had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant on a few occasions. I enjoy the beautiful atmosphere with the lovely decor. The washrooms are clean and the kitchen is open. During the cooler months I have been inside in the booth areas but I recently enjoyed the patio space with a little breeze coming from the screens and was able to watch a thunderstorm while drinks were served. There was a beautiful rainbow with appetizers and for dessert - sunshine! Leslie was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. I enjoy the cafe and market selection too! I recommend this place. Try the wood fire pizza too!

I had the chance to visit this restaurant for lunch when I was driving from Toronto to Ottawa. The restaurant is connected to a supermarket. The restaurant is well maintained, nicely decorated and has clean washrooms. I ordered calamari, pizza and a pasta. They were all delicious however the calamari and pasta were very salty. I personally love salty and it was still too much for me. I would try again when I pass by Peterborough again

The server was excellent. The gluten free food options were great. I forget the name of the pasta I had, but I've uploaded the pictures. It was a seafood one with mussels, shrimps and scallops and was delicious! Their mocktail I tried was so yummy! And I was so happy that they had gluten free bread included in the meal to start too. Often when you're celiac - gluten free you pay more and get less than everyone else. So this was a really nice touch to also get the starter bread. I absolutely will go again next time I'm in town.

This was our second visit to St. Veronus while visiting downtown Peterborough. It was recommended to us by our hotel and we are glad it was. The beer selection here brings back Belgian memories with their extensive variety of Trappist Ales. We also tried the Fruli belgian beer which is perfect for any strawberry lovers. Each time we had their dinner it was always perfectly cooked. Their steak is topped with two thick slices of butter to bring out the flavours and the flavours of the field tomatoes and basil puree with the duck breast dinner special were well-balanced. Their fries are also always served with mayonnaise for an authentic Belgian experience.

This place never disappoints! Great atmosphere and the menu and specials are amazing! Also an impressive NA beer selection.

Stopped in for a quick lunch as I was in Peterborough for work. Great service, friendly, attentive and the food was very enjoyable. Price of luncheon was plesantly surprising. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite places downtown for many reasons. I have many memories of hanging out here with friends when I was in college or enjoying a celebration. I have hosted my birthday here, I have enjoyed dates, hanging out with friends and ladies nights. I also love the back patio area. What a cute little oasis with a mix of brick walls, black furniture, trees and vines, seating arrangements and wildlife! I just love the vibe here whether it’s the moody lighting, the decorations, the wooden features or the floor to ceiling windows - the atmosphere is amazing. There is a bar, some booth seating or high top tables. The food is amazingly delicious from the appetizers to the dessert and the service is incredible. Thank you!

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I had in PTBO! Note it isn’t spicy (we got Nashville) but really enjoyable. Will be definitely reordering this again but only after I try out their fettuccine! The spinach dip was also good and love that the pita comes in 2 (or even 3?) options! Enjoyed this with their Innis & Gun Mango IPA and Creemore. They have 2 patios - we chose for the one in the back which has a lovely mural of a city at night. edit: aug 9, 2024 - front patio is also really nice as well! Their special was the mango fried chicken sandwich but it wasn’t as good as the Nashville but it was spicier. Bruschetta was really good! Will come back again :)

Delicious breakfast would definitely recommend and going to be coming again. Had the Steak and eggs with coffee it was amazing. The bread is to die for so good Very kind Staff as well.

It's a lovely place, the service is great and very attentive. The food is delicious. I had the steak and eggs and being our first time there I was kinda worried, steak has to be perfect to be enjoyed, imo. It was great, flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly. My hubbys Breakfast Feast was great too, and too much for him to finsh! We really enjoyed our meals.

Brisket sandwich super. When the waitress asks you about the side dish potato or salad , pay a bit more, but take both as both are amazing too! We will definitely come back. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is quick.

We went for lunch. Bbq chicken and Ribs were superb. The greek burger was good too. Overall service and ambience was worth spending our thanksgiving weekend here.

Little noisy and lots of distractions. Food was good. I gave it only 3 cause their BBQ chicken and ribs ... chicken was raw towards the bone. The coconut curry was delicious, as was the brisket sandwich. However, no excuse for the raw chicken. Also, we were rushed by the hostess as a reservation was coming in.

My family and I stopped by for some appetizers and can't wait to go back to try more items. Starting from the service, we were greeted by a welcoming male server. He took great care of us! They have a special going on every single day, worth a visit. All of our food came out fresh, delicious and the portions are generous. I forgot to take a photo of the wings but they were amazing! Great location to grab a bite especially before you head to the movies, we highly recommend!

Another amazing meal with great service at The BrickHouse. Tonight I had the Grilled Salmon Burger with Lattice Fries, while Darlene had the BrickHouse Burger with Lattice Fries. Both were simply amazing and the Sliced Pineapple made my Salmon Burger even better. I would highly recommend.

I had to have a quick bite to kill some time between appointments, and it was a bit of a challenge given I needed to do it in less than 40 minutes. Well, Brickhouse accomplished it and did it with a wonderful friendly smile and good food! I ordered the Hello, Gorgeous burger with sweet potato fries and had a Belgium Moon. It was all delicious and hit the spot. My server was super helpful, friendly and very polite! I was pleased, and I will be popping by with the hubby to enjoy another pint and possibly the calamari with our meal soon! Thanks Brickhouse!

I visited Speakeasy for breakfast today, and it was an amazing experience. The food was fresh and flavorful, with a great variety to choose from. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the aroma when you walk in is so inviting. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—relaxing yet full of good energy. Located right on George Street, the main street of downtown, it’s easily accessible. All in all, we had a fantastic time, and I’m looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend.

I don’t know from where to start with this place. Food is incredibly tasty all the times I have been there there is not time I say oh is not as good as last time. Dollar chips and their hollandaise sauce is the best I have tried so far , I go often to try different brunch/ breakfast places and nothing like this place. Portions are huge and price is decent. Waiters are always friendly and give always good customer service making sure you need something or how’s food tasting. So far this place is my favourite breakfast place in Peterborough. The special eggs Bennie’s are always good, lattice fries always crispy and good dipping dressing flavour that complements. Popeye’s omelette is my favourite so far the flavour of the feta cheese and their vegetable fillings go well also includes dollar chips and bread that is a really well packed breakfast. Place theme is authentic and cozy I always satisfied after going to this place and never regretting my choice.

I had the pleasure of dining at speak easy cafe yesterday, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was nothing short of perfect—each dish was beautifully presented with generous portions and outstanding flavors. The attention to detail in the design and taste of the dishes was impressive. Beyond the food, the friendly and welcoming environment made the meal even more enjoyable. Everything about our visit was perfect, and I highly recommend speak easy cafe for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Thanks for making our first visit amazing while visiting Peterborough Ontario! The staff and service were fantastic, the food was very scrumptious. There are plenty of parking spaces, and we were very lucky at the exact time we arrived because we were seated right away and the folks behind us were told "30 to 40 minutes wait time. " I would highly recommend reserving your table at least an hour or more as it was quite busy at the time we arrived (6:30pm) and just heads-up if you're looking for a quiet dinning this establishment is probably not for you On a short note, I would highly recommend this place of business

Walked in and was seated immediately, and before we knew it a server was at our table asking about drinks while serving their food filled menu with something for everyone. The food came quick and was not only well displayed, but was very flavourful. Highly recommend stopping in and checking it out, it's worth your time. Also decently priced. It was our 1st time experience!

Great atmosphere with huge variety of food on the menu. Very busy place on a Sunday afternoon. Clean and modern decor. Lots of big screen tvs to watch games. Salmon and shrimp entree was delish as was the lamb souvlaki lunch. Pizza in the kids meal was left pretty much untouched. It was a soft pita with tomato sauce, lots of cheese and pepperoni, kind of soggy and not crispy at all so my toddler would not eat it. Fries were crispy and good.

Very unique menu options. We had the 3 course prime rib dinner and it was fantastic. I recommend trying the fried frog legs as an appetizer, and getting the sticky toffee pudding as a dessert. This restaurant is definitely on the pricier side but a nice venue to celebrate a special occasion. The food is delicious.

Such a unique and cozy space hidden in Peterborough, perfect for a special occasion. I loved the prime rib dinner and frog legs. Portions were generous and service was great.

Food was mediocre. We did the three course prime rib and the salads were pre made and the Yorkshire pudding was clearly reheated (not fresh) and virtually no gravy. Our waitress was terrible. She didn’t understand basic questions like “what is the soups of the day” and “can I have an old fashioned”. We had to beg for drinks and constantly repeat ourselves. We almost asked for a different server and in retrospect, I wish we did. Would not recommend. Really disappointing service and overpriced food. Not a great experience.

The food is consistently good. I have been here a couple times when we visit the area. A bit on the salty side and lacking in veg options. Most things are gluten-free which is important for myself due to celiac disease. We find it on the pricey side in comparison to other Mexican or Latin eateries. Service is always fantastic, and they have a nice patio.

Amazing service, beautiful patio and fresh tasting authentic Mexican cuisine! So fortunate to have a great restaurant in our Downtown Core that offers a variety of Mexican dishes from salsa or guacamole and chips, tacos, soups or salads, alcoholic beverages and desserts! I have always had an enjoyable time at this location. Sandra and her staff are attentive and a pleasure to speak with. Enjoy! Update: I enjoyed Taco Tuesday with a side of margaritas and it did not disappoint! Truly delicious! Update: Went to the Dragon Boat Festival and La Hacienda was there so I purchased birria tacos, guac and chips plus chips for home! Proceeds went to the fundraiser!

Very nice dining experience. Nice ambient lighting that is warm yet bright enough for conversation. I loved the unique cheese grater lighting, 3 sided fire place and warm colour palette. The food was delicious with many options. We started with a bowl of the Soup of the Day and a basket of Sweet potato kettle chips. The chips were surprisingly light and crunchy served with a perfectly seasoned garlic and dill sauce for dipping For lunch I ordered the grilled cheese with a roasted beet salad as my side. The 5 year old cheddar, brie, shaved apple slices and red onion jam made a fantastic blend of sweet and salty. The roasted beet salad served with arugula, goat cheese and candied pecans popped the flavours of the grilled cheese for a perfect combo. My spouse had the prime rib sandwich with garden salad loaded with fresh veggies. The sandwich was stacked with prime rib to a daunting height. Enough to fill up the hungriest of customers. Over all I would definitely recommend and we will visit again to try some of the dinner entrées. Thank you Jessica for the great service and shout out to the kitchen for the delicious meal. We will be back.

Lunch at Kettle Drums was such a delightful experience, especially since we went during quieter hours. The ambiance, with its warm and spacious interior, was just lovely, and the staff was incredibly friendly, checking on us occasionally. I adored the attention to detail, like using graters as part of the ceiling decor – those little touches make a place unique! Now, onto the food! While the menu didn't offer a wide variety, there were more items like steak after 3 pm. We indulged in some Sweet Potato Fries and Shrimp. The fries were presented beautifully – crunchy, flavorful, and a generous portion for one person. They were worth every penny! As for the shrimp, it didn't quite hit the mark in terms of both price and size, but it was still decent. For drinks, I opted for the Raspberry concoction, which was pretty good; I'd order it again. My friend tried the Lavender, and although I didn't taste it myself, it looked and sounded delightful. A big shoutout to my friend Greatness for sharing your food and letting me snap some pictures! It made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

A quiet cozy atmosphere, good food and a lovely waitress

It was our first time at the Waterhouse Restaurant and I absolutely recommend! The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is the service. Our server was very nice, cocktails and apps came quickly enough. Our dinners were then brought in by a runner. Perfect. But then your server didn’t come to check on us until we were almost halfway through our meal, glasses empty. By then de had decided to stick with our waters. Had he checked on our drinks earlier we would have ordered wine! Not a huge deal, and an easy fix!!

Thee best monthly date night spot for my husband and I! Hands down, the freshest farm to table food and drink! The atmosphere is cozy and the service is superb! The attached photos were from four different occasions. If I can recommend one thing, order the espresso martini with your dessert. There's a scoop of caramel ice cream in it!! We can't wait for our next date night on the patio next to the water!

The Waterhouse is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely outdoor patio along the river/dam. Nestled in a cute little plaza, The Waterhouse serves delicious drinks and pretty fancy dishes. They have a variety of dishes that Can please both meat eaters and vegetarians. It is a little more expensive than your everyday casual dining, but not unreasonable. They also hosted my workplace for appetizers and drinks and were phenomenal and attentive despite us being a 30+ person party. I got the tempura fried cauliflower bowl and it was delicious. The orange ginger sauce was perfect and the rice was cooked extremely well. The mojito was also delicious. My friends got a non-alcoholic lavender lemonade and loved it. I will definitely go back.

I adore this place! The people there are very very kind and helpful and the sandwiches and wraps are fantastic and full of meat which is unlike so many other places these days! Their coffee is also very very good and they have different flavors to choose from. This also has a little store that offers wine and some culinary things, some jams and cutting boards, gifts. It's a unique and quaint place. I will be going back!

Terrific store with high-end groceries, kitchen novelties, very clean and spacious restrooms (not gender-specific). Funny selection of cocktail napkins. Array of salad and sandwich choices including a limited possibility for "create-your-own". Beautiful desserts on display and what appeared to be a fabulous homemade ice cream case, though I cannot partake of that, so I concentrated my attention elsewhere. Drink case offered several varieties of bottled drinks, both carbonated and not, as well as water. We had a lovely salad and part of a baguette, drinks and a dessert for about $30. I had a delicious coconut/ chocolate confection, while my hubby enjoyed a blondie (that sounds like a whole other topic, but I mean the light version of a brownie!!). Indoor and outdoor seating are available.

Their hours are very unpredictable. I don't know why they seem to be the only place in the plaza that can't maintain proper staffing levels, especially considering the prices. Also, someone needs to do serious cleanup in the beer section. Most of the IPAs there are so old it should be a crime to sell them (and most of the beers are IPAs). I mentioned it to one of the employees months ago but nothing was done. I should do something other than complain! I like their chai and coffee, and the desserts are great. I haven't had sandwiches there in quite a while, but when I did they were very tasty.

Post & Beam Brewing in Peterborough, NH for a flight & a pint after a hike to the top of Mount Monadnock. It had been over two years since I had been here last, but enjoyed all the beers previously so it was nice to have a excuse to come back. Downtown Peterborough, NH isn't huge, but it's a great spot to check out for sure. My previous visit here, I had opted for mostly IPAs, but this time I went the more traditional route & got some different styles that were available. The fall season brings with it a lot more lighter offerings & darker beers, which are without a doubt some of my favorites. The flight I scooped consisted of four different styles. I started off with the BUTCHER HOLLER Farmhouse Ale - Grisette, which isn't my favorite style by any means, but this was delicious. Then I moved onto THE LOYAL WE Lager & BLOODSHOT MOON Sour which were both good. The last beer in my flight was the ULI DUNKEL Munich Dunkel which was excellent. My favorite of the trip was the pint of the THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF PILSNER Czech I got that was really crisp & super drinkable. Outside the brewery on your way in you'll see some cannon ball's (which I of course had to stroke since I'm 40 with the sense of humor of Eric Cartman) & depending on the schedule, a food truck. The building itself is reminiscent of old New England architecture with the taproom being super inviting, reminding me of my grandparents old dining room & kitchen when I was a wee lad. Great, super friendly staff who definitely led to the friendly environment inside. Had my celebratory birthday drink here and was not disappointed. My partner tried a stout, Snug Life, and I kept to my trusted standby (a sour), Jelly Bones. Having never been in before we were impressed by the quality and atmosphere. Next time we pass through Peterborough we will stop in again, and maybe even try a wood fired pizza.

The beer is great. Personal is awesome. The vibe is really good. Then why the 3 star review? Well, they have a truck that seems to specialize in burnt pizza. Please replace it with something your level

Extremely greasy pizza almost fell through bottom of box due to grease canzone was alright after draining a cup of grease subs were overly salty garlic bread tasted like salt bread service was good thou but food trash

This little diner in Peterborough New Hampshire surprised the heck out of us. It's hard to find good diners in Connecticut so we really wanted to check this one out. And we were very surprised and very happy when we left. The place is obviously a locals favorite as it was packed and even had a line and a wait outside. I actually cannot recall what I ordered so I have to look at my photos but everything was delicious and we would have went back a second time if we had time during our weekend getaway. I do remember that they're fresh Maple syrup was delicious and authentic.

Road trip to NH, stop st the diner for breakfast. Super simple. Bacon, eggs, and toast. A-maz-ing! Cooked perfectly, not even close to greasy, super fresh. Worth the trip! Service was good.

Wow! What a wonderful Diner! We stopped in for lunch when working in the area and are glad we did. Our waitress was attentive, kind and anticipated anything we needed. Food was delicious and well prepared. Loves the turkey club!

It has been awhile since we have visited The Pearl. Our experience tonight did not disappoint. The staff is friendly, it was like returning home after too long away. The main menu is the same which was nice. The food is delicious and plentiful. The oyster selection is fabulous-5 different varieties to choose from. We can't wait for our next visit. This place definitely earned its 4.7 Stars on Google! Excellent wine, raw and fresh seafood, menu variety and quality. Every plate on our party of four was wiped clean! Asian inspired noodles and soups, delicious and perfectly cooked scallops. It exceeded my party's expectations. Other than being a little cramped and service a bit informal/lax it was a 10/10 experience. Dine with confidence and enjoy great food at an affordable price.

It's like someone else said, if you don't enjoy your dining experience here, it's you, not them. Always amazed @ the quality service, food, & atmosphere. They are always busy which tells you something. A rare gem in this area!
