Atmosphere: decor is nice but tables are close together which makes it a little on the noisy side so conversation is challenging. Service was very good, punctual and attentive even though it was quite busy. Food had mixed reviews in our party of 4. The meatballs on both the appetizers and the dinner were delicious. The salmon was ok, but we were not impressed with the sauce on it. The cherry desert with ice cream was also yummy.
Great food, great service and enjoyable time. Had the salmon and it was awesome. Daughter had the duck and son had a steak and both loved it! Plenty of seating and they have areas for big groups as well.
Another excellent find! Loved TWFB! Great open atmosphere. The scent of fired ovens lingering, great lighting creates a warmth about the whole place. The back shelf is filled with fine grade spirits, bourbon connoisseurs must try the Old Fashioned! Amazing, as was the jalapeno cucumber infused margarita! The Salmon was probably in my top 5 of all times, so delicious it was. Thank you for the great service and warm smiles, this will have to be a redo for sure!

We've been trying to get reservations for awhile, especially on a weekend so I suggest reserving asap! The atmosphere was chill, relaxed but upscale. We were seated upstairs which gave a great view of the kitchen. Service was fantastic! They really went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We dined on our anniversary weekend and got a couple flutes of champagne! What a fun surprise from them. The food was so excellent!! We ordered The steak & Pork Chop. Cannot wait to go back. It may be pricey, but it was worth it.
This was our second time visiting Boiler Room. We ordered the steak first time around, and we found it to be lacking. We decided to give it a second try for our anniversary and unfortunately, the food remained mediocre. It is unfortunate, considering the ambience is very appealing and the cocktails and complimentary champagne for our anniversary were great. To start, we ordered tagliatelle and pork belly. Each of these dishes was good enough, though not standouts in their own right. For the main courses, we ordered the halibut and duck breast. Similar to our first visit, the main courses fell flat, considering the price ($50+ each dish). The duck was chewier than we would prefer and the halibut was completely ordinary. My boyfriend noted that the flavors of each visit leaned heavily into earthy flavors, which left him wanting more. For instance, the apple and beet purée accompanying his duck was something that was unpleasant on its own but okay when eaten with the rest of the dish. The highlight of the evening was the pistachio semifreddo, which was accompanied by white chocolate and blackberries. It was a great way to end the meal. We also received complimentary macarons, which were pleasant and buttery. Each time we have been to The Boiler Room, we were hoping to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, we left underwhelmed each time. For the price, there are much better restaurants in the area.
I heard that this place was nominated for a James Beard award so we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. This place should have a Michelin star ⭐️. The atmosphere was Tribeca, the service was midwestern friendly and the food was out of this world. The wine selection was great too. And there was plenty of n/a options for the sober crowd. If you dropped this restaurant into manhattan tomorrow, you’d not be able to get a reservation until next year. I really can’t say enough nice things about our experience.

This place is truly a gem. The atmosphere is relaxed and service is always helpful and friendly. We got the calamari appetizer and Caesar salad to start which were both delicious. The seasonal special Oktoberfest Schnitzel should be added to their permanent menu - it was fantastic! The Seafood Diavolo and Giglio with Chicken and Asparagus were both flavorful and rich.
This place is an amazing Italian restaurant in Omaha. The food was amazing and perfectly cooked. I tried one of the specials and doing so was trying something new. It's definitely something I'd try again without question. Management of a busy restaurant was handled with class and they accommodated us in no time at all, even though we had no reservation. I will be back to eat here again. No question.
It was OK, but I didn't feel it was worth the price. We visited on a Sunday evening, and our initial drink orders for a beer and vodka sprite took quite a while that we didn't have time to hardly get through them before our meals came out. I ordered based on our waitress' recommendation. She suggested the calamari for an app saying it was the best. While it was fine, it was nothing phenomenal, so I probably wouldn't order it again. The breading was a bit crumbly and with it, just peppers and lemon wedges. The breading lacked much flavor. The only flavor in the dish were if you ate it with the peppers and squeezed the lemon over it. Her second recommendation was the French Acadian chicken linguine and stated it was a spicier sauce. Having never been here before, I wanted to follow her recommendations. The chicken pieces in this were cooked nicely, and the portion was decent. The sauce just lacked much flavor. It felt fairly bland, unfortunately. My fiancé got the chicken parmigiana, and the chicken piece was also generous. Served with capellini pasta and a vegetable medley. They also had 2 pieces of able bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. This mixture wasn't my cup of tea. Each of our dishes were $26 and the calamari was $15. I never mind paying a higher price for a good meal I don't have to cook or clean up after, but in true honesty, this experience was over hyped and overpriced. I can't say I'd want to pay these prices, and roll the dice if something else is worth it. Food has to give me feelings to be worth the cost and calories. Over $100 for this dinner for 2, wasn't. Our server was kind and friendly, but I wasn't able to learn her name until I saw it on the ticket.

Le Bouillon is a vibrant dining establishment that offers a unique blend of traditional and contemporary cuisine, aiming to create memorable culinary experiences for all guests….
Le Bouillon is a fantastic date night staple in Omaha! We've had countless wonderful meals here with amazing food, drink, and super attentive/friendly staff. Don't forget to check out their underground wine bar "Mon Cave" on weekend evenings!
Loved loved loved the food at Le Bouillon. My favorite dish was the fresh onion soup. There was a different flare to the soup. It added an extra flavor to the dish but still kept it traditional. I will be back just for the soup. We also enjoyed the stuff duck, which was amazing. The skin was crispy and stuffed with sauage. Yum. The last dish was the Morgan Ranch Strip. A lot of flavor and cooked to perfection. A wonderful experience overall and the staffing was extremely nice. My favorite part was the wine store connected to the restaurant. You can buy a bottle and just pay the cork fee.
We had the burger and the veal, both were excellent, made with quality ingredients. Everyone should come have the veal! I've never had it better. Anthony and Kate are awesome. Anthony helped us pick out an orange wine which i absolutely love. I also love the historic charm, and that they don't jam the place up with lots of tables, and service is top notch ❤️

Stop in for a delicious experience. Came for Saturday lunch with the family. The interior is inviting for both a casual or romantic setting. The lighting and decor make it feel upscale enough to warrant the menu without being pretentious and feeling like you might break your wallet. Started out with the lobster Queso; 10 out of 10 recommend. A fun and tasteful take on an old bar & grill mainstay. The lobster was big enough to enjoy in the majority of bites without overpowering and making it seem like a seafood dish. We enjoyed the crab cakes with home potatoes, salmon eggs benediction, and the chicken caprese pasta. None of it disappointed! Everything was hot fresh and rich with some nice flavor combinations. I particularly enjoyed the charred spinach bed that my crab cakes were served on. They provided a nice touch of acidity to the dish with the sauce they were tossed in. If you’re in the Village Pointe shopping area stop by and give Firebirds a try.
I was excited to go try firebirds. The menu looked great. The restaurant is nice and was crowded when we got there at 7 on a Thursday night. We waited about 15 minutes which wasn’t bad. They brought out some bread that looked good but didn’t have a lot of flavor. I ordered the NY strip my daughter got the salmon and my wife got the Colorado chicken salad. My steak looked really good but it was just kind of bland. Nothing too flavorful about it. It was the same with my daughter’s salmon. It was also very bland. My wife liked her salad it did have some flavor. I was just expecting some really good food for the price and it just didn’t have very much flavor.
GREAT!! First time eating there for a later lunch. It was a wonderful experience. The food was perfect and our server Mia was as good as any server I’ve ever had!
Chef Anthony and his chef pairing was simply devine. From taste to textures, to aroma to presentation, it was star studded!!! Chef Anthony is just a super cool guy doing what he does best and has trained for so many years. Don't sit on this place, instead make your reservation and walk on in.
My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we first moved to Omaha. This place has the freshest food and the best interesting flavor combinations. Only down side is that when ever my husband and I go we are always ignored by the main chef. He will come out and talk to other guests but avoid us.
We had a party of two to celebrate a job offer, and the service was outstanding. I had made a special request for a congratulations table setting, and I was so appreciative of their efforts. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We each did the Prix Fixe menu, trying an array of the items. We also added wine pairings and a few cocktails (Jameson & the Giant Peach was fabulous). Pictured are the Angus hanging tender, yuzu creme brulee, and chocolate cheesecake. It's true - they taste even better than they look. I highly recommend the Caesar salad as an option on the Prix Fixe too. We are excited to return for our special occasions.

801 Chophouse at the Paxton is a premier dining destination that epitomizes the art of fine dining in a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. With a remarkable 4.7-star rating…
We were quickly accommodated as we showed up 90 minutes early. We were a party of 6 and 2 of us got seated at a beautiful table. Our other 4 friends bailed after 15 minutes and after we got our drinks. The staff was so kind to move the 2 of us to a booth to free up the larger table on a busy night. We felt horrible for hogging up the table but staff was super kind. As for the service, our waitress was amazing!!! Very descriptive, patient, and full of knowledge and recommendations. Very helpful. We had the crab cakes which are a must. My friend and I shared the off menu wagyu tomahawk and it was DELICIOUS. Definitely come back and try other 801 Chophouses!
I had an amazing experience with my girlfriend and her son at this restaurant. The wedge salad was 8/10, the steak was 9.5/10, and the crème brule was 10/10. Expensive restaurant but great service. They have a kids menu, free bread, and complimentary valet.
Given Omaha’s renowned reputation for exceptional steaks, I decided to dine at 801 Chophouse, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I ordered the New York Steak, accompanied by corn, broccoli, and béarnaise sauce. The service was impeccable, with Nick providing an outstanding first-time experience, while several other staff members ensured my water was consistently refilled, plates were cleared promptly, and my bill was delivered in a timely manner. Regarding the food, I would not particularly recommend the broccoli, as it was rather unremarkable. However, the steak, corn, and béarnaise sauce were outstanding. I ordered the steak medium-plus, achieving the perfect level of doneness—pink but not red. The corn, suggested by Nick, was some of the best I’ve ever had. As for the béarnaise sauce, after searching extensively across the U.S. for the perfect one, 801 Chophouse is the first restaurant that truly delivered. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend 801 Chophouse to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
