Stopped through with some friends before a show at the Newberry. We had a few drinks and grabbed some food. The pricing was fair, the drink selection was pretty good (beer wise) and the food was better than expected! I do recommend this place.
Two bars for the price of one. There is a higher end bar up front with fancy cocktails and street front seating. In the back is another larger bar that's more of a sports bar. Both have great food. And don't forget about the casino for your chance of luck.
If your looking for something to do on a Saturday that gives you the vibe of going to a club without be suffocated by a massive crowd. This is the place to go! It’s lively and upbeat. Go dance with crowd to music played by the live Dj. Or if you’re more of a conversational person, hang out at a table by the bar with your friends. For those of you who want to go out but want some time for yourself, there’s a lounge casino inside waiting for you. Whatever it is you’re looking for, the Hare will provide that experience you are looking for.

Took the family out for a nice dinner on our last day of our visit to Great Falls. We had the spinach artichoke dip which I didn't really care for. It was a bit runny and served with soft pita bread. The charbroiled pork chops and garlic mash potatoes was fantastic along with the house salad. Prices range from mid $20 to $30’s for an entree. The atmosphere was excellent along with the service. Total wait time from ordering to eating was about 25 minutes on a 4 top so not bad at all. I would recommend eating at the Montana Club.
Had the cheese curd burger with bison. A good solid burger, but needs a pinch more seasoning. The curds added a little texture but nothing more. Regular cheeseburger would have been good enough. Dip was very well done. Piping hot and the artichoke chunks came out well. Prices are kinda meh, but we didn't leave hungry.
My family and I flew into Great Falls, Montana on the evening of 9 Aug 2024 and needed some food after we checked into our hotel. I had a list of restaurants to try during our stay and The Montana Club was on the list because I've heard good things about this business...not to mention, their online reviews seemed legitimate. We left our hotel and headed towards the restaurant immediately because I realized this restaurant closes at 9 pm, which was surprising to me considering it was a Friday night. Living in Las Vegas, it's often forgetful that other cities actually close down early. When we walked in, the restaurant wasn't busy at all (go figure, right...considering the time we arrived). Our hostess didn't seem as enthusiastic when we walked in (perhaps she just had a rough day at home and/or work), so I try not to have that affect my rating of a restaurant as much unless it was significantly negative...but it was clearly noticeable. Regardless, she still sat us down and away from other customers, which I appreciated. On the other hand, our main server, Shelby, did such a phenomenal job the entire evening. She was very friendly; highly efficient, professional, attentive, and operated at a fast speed...these are traits that other employees could learn to emulate in Great Falls. More often than not, service at restaurants tend to go downhill towards closing hours because everyone is excited to go home, so the service can be hit-or-miss at times. But there's no doubt about Shelby's profound customer service and what she brought to the table (figuratively and literally), especially during the final hour of her shift. We ordered the 8-piece Buffalo-flavored Wings for our appetizer; Huckleberry Filet w/Creamy Southwest Chicken Soup, Chicken Parmesan w/Caesar Salad, and Seafood Primavera w/Clam Chowder for our entrées; and Huckleberry Crème Brûlée for our dessert. The wings were pretty spicy; normally, I love spicy food, but as I've gotten older, it seems my tolerance has significantly declined. The flavor of the sauce was slightly different from the majority of Buffalo Wings I've tried in and out of this country...but, it was different in a magnificent way. The Chicken Parmesan was flavorful and could probably feed 300 Roman soldiers (ok, not that drastic, but you know what I mean). The Seafood Primavera was just ok; I've definitely had my fair share of outstanding seafood-centric pastas in my life, especially in Las Vegas...but unfortunately, this entrée didn't do it for me. Both soups were good and the Huckleberry Crème Brûlée was the star performer of the evening! The Huckleberry Filet had a nice char and was adequately seasoned; however, the temperature wasn't accurate to what we ordered (we received rare-to-medium rare, when we ordered medium). Fortunately, Shelby was nice enough to take back the steak and have it placed on the grill longer. When the steak was brought back out, it seemed that they cooked an entirely new steak which we appreciated, but it still was cooked around medium rare. At this point, it was close to their closing hour so we just ate it (I didn't mind it as much, but it was my wife's steak). I know some may argue with me, but I feel that the prices were very reasonable at this restaurant. I've had the luxury of trying restaurants of every caliber and believe me, the price-to-quantity/quality ratio is adequate. I especially respect this restaurant for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors.

It is very convenient as a hotel is shared with the restaurant but not in a holiday inn kinda way, it's a boutique hotel with a common space in the restaurant. The food was amazing our waitress was informative, punctual and accommodating. Would stay at the hotel just so I could walk inside the restaurant for meals
Stayed at Hotel Arvon so naturally we went next door to the Celtic Cowboy. It was a Friday and they had a guy playing a guitar. He was pretty good. Service was wonderful! For dinner we had Brussel sprouts to start. They were really good. Cooked perfectly and bacon and cheese. Yum! Then we shared the corned beef and cabbage cuz we love cabbage so we could resist. The corned beef was so tender and juicy. The cabbage was cooked perfectly! Gravy could be slightly thicker but the taste of it was great. If you like corned beef & cabbage then don’t shy away from this dish. You won’t be disappointed. For beer we had the half and half which I tied for the first time and I really liked it. For desert we had the Guinness chocolate cake. It was perfect! I recommend you share it cuz it’s a beast of a desert.
I am always on the hunt for GOOD Irish Pubs. Celtic Cowboy did not disappoint. Great Scotch Eggs. Good service. The ONLY downside was a lack of whiskeys the night I was there (Saturday night is NOT a good night to run low on whiskey).

We shared the 3 meat and 3 sides Combo. Delicious! The beef brisket was so tender! We also got the cheese sausage/brat and smoked turkey. The sides were corn bread, pork belly mac n cheese and baked beans. All were excellent! Employees were helpful and energetic. Really nice to see people enjoying their job! Next time we are in Great Falls, we will definitely be back!
Best place ever!! We've been twice and food has been extremely good and very fulfilling. I am a huge fan of the pork belly Mac and cheese. My second favorite is the Pig-Mac. I don't think I'll ever order anything other than those. I will definitely make this a stop any time I'm in Great Falls.
Service was great, people were very friendly!!!! Good brisket and cheddar brat. Nice selection of 7 different sauces available. KC, Texas, Alabama White, Carolina, etc. Today they had smoked pastrami as well but I can only eat so much. Beans were unique compared to KC but very good. I tried the pork belly. It was a little salty for me. I prefer mine to be more sweet. The brisket and pork belly had nice bark and the brat had a snap when biting in. When back in town, will be back!

What a great find! 2k burger was my favorite but unfortunately had to close so I tried Roadhouse on this visit to Great Falls and I was not disappointed! Excellent service and a fantastic burger! I had the Winchester and it was worth every penny! Pricing is on par with other surrounding burger places BUT the meat is locally sourced and absolutely delicious! Easy parking on lot or Street and service is pretty quick! Oh, the fries and really good also!
Very tasty burger, the Winchester. Not "Dean's Favorite" for nothing :) The thinnest fries I've ever seen, but tasty and lots of toppings to choose from. Now if the restaurant had a window instead of the arctic air conditioning, it would be even better!
My family and I were visiting Great Falls for several days and prior to arriving, I had researched several restaurants to try for our entire visit. Roadhouse Diner was on the list and we ended up visiting on the evening of 10 Aug 2024 with family who resides in Great Falls. We arrived towards the end of their business hours (had ~52 minutes to spare before closing), so the restaurant wasn't overflowing with customers. Although it wasn't overflowing, the restaurant still had all their tables filled which showcases this business' popularity. The one trend I noticed from online Google reviews were that several people had mentioned how they felt this restaurant's burgers were the "best they ever had" (or the "best in Montana/town"). Being a resident in Las Vegas, Nevada and having traveled to a lot of places in and out of the United States, I've had my fair share of exquisite burgers and I'd say that those statements are very bold statements to make. But to be fair, some folks have never had the privilege of traveling out of state so these statements may hold value. Regardless, I can't say I agree with those claims based on my recent visit...but there were several key elements that were great. Our table ordered the Sin City Burger w/Mushrooms, Mother Clucker w/Pepper Jack and Chipotle Mayo, Hillbilly Sweet and Spicy Burger, Lowrider Burger, and Old School Burger w/Mushrooms and Bacon. First and foremost, the flavor profile of each burger/chicken sandwich was superb! The shoestring fries were a refreshing change to the conventional fries, waffle fries, curly fries, and steak fries that others serve at their businesses...and they tasted magnificent. This business advertises via Google, "Big burgers with creative toppings..." I can't agree with the "big burgers" wording because I felt the burger size was just moderate; however, I can agree that they have creative toppings, especially for a smaller city like Great Falls. I was a little bummed that they don't offer tomatoes for their burgers, but I won't lose sleep over it either. After I left the restaurant, I realized that the server never asked how I/we wanted our burgers prepared (temperature-wise), which was different for me - not sure if that's standard. As for the service...I'd say it was adequate. Our primary server (I think her name was Brandi, based on the receipt), did an ok job. She was attentive; however, she could've been a little more friendlier. At one point, she "tossed" our napkins on our table towards someone instead of just placing it on the table. Although, it "may" not have been intentional, it was displeasing to say the least. I would've much enjoyed having the young female who was greeting people at the door and cleaning tables as our server - she was significantly friendlier and smiled a lot more. Overall, I'd say this restaurant was ok, as depicted in my 3-star rating. If I were to visit this city again sometime down the road, I would be interested in trying some of the other burgers on their menu. But I can't say this place is worth eating routinely if I were staying here for a long duration - I've experienced burger restaurants that have left that lasting impression, resulting in being infamous in that capacity. Nevertheless, I'm still recommending this restaurant to others - definitely worth trying at least once, and the prices are reasonable.

It’s good and the staff is super nice. Food was so yummy and filling. I would love to come back. It’s a legit sports bar that is clean and has a lot of options for drinks and food.
Check #95 on 9-23 24. We got a Swiss mushroom burger and a pizza burger to take back to our motel just about a half block away. The burgers seem like they were made earlier and left in a steamer. The French fries were almost cold and tasted like they were made the day before. The buns were nasty and there was no condiments or napkins in the bag. This meal was $32.00 not counting the tip. We will never go here again. The only good part was Cole who took our order. Very nice.
This was one of the only places that was open after 10 pm on a Saturday and had good selection of bar and food. Initially we were confused if it was casino and grill together but there is a separate entrance for each of them. Our overall experience was nice and I am glad we picked this place. Our server was sweet and ambience was mood lifting. We also liked their song selection. Their fries with Nashville hot sauce were pretty hot but had a nice zing. Fish and fries were crispy and light and Caribbean jerk chicken with risotto was flavorful.

Magpie is an absolute gem in town! They offer the best tacos and cocktails you'll find anywhere. The atmosphere is something special too—a unique blend of elegance and a dive bar, which they aptly call a "high dive." The decor is chic yet laid-back, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or a more refined evening. The tacos are bursting with flavor, and the cocktails are expertly crafted, making every visit a memorable experience. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, amazing drinks, and a one-of-a-kind vibe, Magpie is the place to be!
This was a wonderful date night out! Food was delicious, service was personable and friendly, and atmosphere was so chill. Family friendly, as well as a good place to hangout with friends having nice drinks.
I can't say enough good things about this place! The service is always top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to make every visit special. They're genuinely kind and attentive. The food is consistently amazing, and the drinks are expertly crafted. The bartender not only makes great drinks but also has the best personality—super friendly and engaging. The owners are fantastic as well; they always recognize us and make a point to say hi. The vibe and atmosphere here are just unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Me and my husband went here today and it was ok. The atmosphere was fairly loud from the music and it wasn’t very busy but our wait for our food was a bit long. The food was average but really I was hoping for better. My pasta dish was good but I’ve had better. I actually wanted pizza but all the kinds were weird and I wish there had been some traditional kinds to choose from. If you want a modern social vibe you’d like it but I was hoping for more of a cozy quieter place.
Great service. Ordered Southwest Chop Salad. The dressing was awesome, brought promptly to our table. The Rancher Pizza for main course. All with a view of the water.
Lodgepole appetizer (cheesy bread) was adult and kid approved. Good selection of pizzas and accommodating for adding or subtracting toppings. Kids loved the mac'n'cheese pizza. Multiple tvs with different sports playing for the sports enthusiasts and a decent selection beers and alcoholic drinks and have 1 N/A beer option.

Our group was in town to do some shopping and we stopped here for some lunch. We have been before but not for lunch. I had the million dollar salad with blackened chicken and the shrimp cocktail to start. Had I seen the price before for the shrimp I would not have ordered it. But after I had it, those shrimp were worth every penny of the $18.95 price. The salad was also great and I like the small bits of real bacon and lots of blue cheese is the Blue Cheese dressing. I would definitely order again. Another in our group had ordered the tomato soup, it was the best ever. We will be back again when in town.
Great food but on the pricey side. The service was great and there are several unique offerings throughout the menu. We mainly went here just to say we went once while here, but we would not make it a regular destination. In the past, we really enjoyed going for the soup and salad bar.
Fine dining at a decent price. They do a great job at this location and it is worth it to go. Servers were in sort of a chef style coat and were very friendly yet professional. The soups were perfect and loved that they came with different toppings. We got the cap steak and the chicken alfredo and everything was very tender and flavorful. I don't often go for appetizers as I feel like the price is hardly worth it. However we were treating ourselves and the the tempura asparagus were pretty top notch! Definitely wish there were more included

I went to Family Affair for the first time (8/29/2024) and I had a wonderful experience. Marisa, my server, was very sweet and attentive (and quick, too!). Very clean, and well-maintained establishment. I was surprised at how quickly my order arrived at my table after I ordered it, considering how busy it was. Maybe 5 minutes at most. Everything was fresh, hot, and very delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy platter and I enjoyed every bite. I was in and out of there in what felt like 20 minutes. Fair prices, lovely service, and great portions! If you need a hearty, delicious breakfast, I would recommend Family Affair.
I was mislead by the 4.8 rating on Google reviews. I don't usually leave negative reviews but I feel the record needs to be set straight. This is a 2.5-3 star restaurant at the most. The first morning I brought my sister. The fried potatoes were so burnt my sister wouldn't eat them. I like my potatoes extra crispy so I didn't mind. Still persuaded by the reviews, the next morning, I took my Son. He opened the breakfast burrito and said right away the eggs were raw. I did not believe him and said , "no Son it is probably just cheese. He took a bite and then he would not eat any more. I opened the other half with my fork and sure enough the clear gelatinous egg oozed out. I said, "wow it is really raw." My son said "and thank you I already took a bite." I said it's not gonna kill you Son, Hulk Hogan had me and your Aunt convinced to eat raw eggs when we were young for good health." Anyway, I should have listened to my sister the first time and just went to Applebee's but I was fooled by the Google and thought I should let you know.
We had one of the BEST breakfasts! The homemade corned beef hash was the best I have ever had. Not salty, very flavorful. My husbands Denver omelette was loaded with onions, pepper jack cheese, bell peppers, ham. Sourdough toast rounded out our meal. Bought a caramel pecan roll to go. A quick taste before I put it away told me I made a great choice!
Enbar Craft Cocktail Lounge is a premier destination for cocktail enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable experience in a stylish and inviting atmosphere. With a stellar 4.5 rating…
It’s really good, the cocktails are delicious and the food is yummy. My one “complaint” is it seems like there isn’t much of an in between a bite and a full scale meal. We weren’t in the mood for steaks so we got a bunch of appetizers which were good, but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The vibe here is upscale and modern. It’s a good cocktail lounge
I come into to Great Falls several times a month for Business. Vanessa has the best customers service I’ve experience in a long time throughout multiple States. I know from experience to turn around and walk out if I don’t see Vanessa. She makes this place worthwhile. Know one else makes my cocktails the same and the other 20 something yahoos could stand to learn a thing or two about how to treat their customers
Classy cocktail bar in Great Falls! Small space that can fill up quickly! Excellent, top shelf cocktails made well & worth the price. Drinks off-menu are also made to perfection with top shelf & Montana made liquors. The menu has a variety of fresh, local & well-prepared choices. All in all, a fantastic local hotspot worth your visit in town!

We went for lunch at opening time. We were one of the first couple tables to be seated but the restaurant was about 1/3 full by the time we left. The wait staff was nice but the busser was extremely on the ball and everywhere. We were not expecting the complementary chips and salsa, but they were nice, especially if you like chunky salsa that is not over spiced.
My husband and I shared a wonderful dinner here. The bread/appetizer came out quickly and the food was piping hot and delicious. The servers worked as a team to keep our drinks refilled and to make sure we were never waiting on anything. It's been a bit tough finding good restaurants (that aren't absurdly overpriced) in Great Falls, but so far this may be one of our favorites. We'll definitely be back!
I searched online for "nice" and "upscale" restaurants in Great Falls and this was one of few businesses that popped up (let's just say there weren't many to choose from). I wanted to try one final restaurant before my next morning departure back home, so my family and I opted for Dante's on the evening of 13 Aug 2024. We made reservations out of habit because living in Las Vegas (LV), it's always highly recommended that you make reservations at certain restaurants, especially the popular ones. Needless to say, we didn't really need to make reservations because when we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy at all (probably since it was a Tuesday evening). We were nicely greeted by the hostess that evening and quickly escorted to our table which was situated right next to the window. This seat was especially wonderful that evening because during our meal, it started raining outside which added to the tranquil atmosphere, rustic décor, and wonderful company from my family. Although I'm more of a modern décor type of person (hence why I enjoy living in LV), I did appreciate this restaurant's architecture/design; it definitely matched the historic nature of the city. With respect to our food and drinks, we ordered the Bear Proof Huckleberry Old Fashioned, Smith and Hook Cab, and Shirley Temple for our drinks; Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon, Chicken Parmigiana, and New York Steak for our entrées; and the Chocolate Volcano for our dessert. I don't recall the last time I've been to a restaurant with my family and we didn't order any appetizers, but this was one of those situations and a rare moment for us - probably due to having a robust brunch session earlier in the day. The Old Fashioned was different compared to the traditional way of preparing it, but it was a good twist on the creation of the drink utilizing what appears to be the fruit staple of Great Falls...Huckleberry. I've tried the Smith and Hook Cab before and no major complaints here; and the Shirley Temple was adequate. The Filet and Chicken Parm were satisfactory, but I cannot say the same about the New York Steak. Unfortunately for me, my steak was less than adequate - it lacked flavor and was overcooked. Could I have asked the server for another steak? Yes, but I chose not to because (1) I didn't want to stay longer since we had more things to accomplish that evening; and (2) if a restaurant that identifies themselves as "fine dining" according to Google, then I shouldn't have to ask to remake another one - it should've been correctly prepared the first time. Regardless, I had enough steaks in my lifetime, so I didn't lose sleep over it. And finally, the bread and balsamic dip that arrived in the beginning, along with the dessert were good. The service from the entire restaurant staff was wonderful and our main server, Misty, did a great job that evening. I did notice one of the servers walking around with a giant pepper grinder and was curious if that device was supposed to have made it to our table at one point. I kept forgetting to ask our server, but didn't think anything of it since I was able to adapt and overcome the pepper barrier and utilized the pepper shaker that's on every table - no issues there. Overall, I will say that this restaurant was just ok...hence my 3-star rating. This restaurant did not fully meet my expectations, especially since I was hoping for some top of the line and exquisite culinary experience due to how this restaurant advertises their business online (kudos to their marketing team). I'm sure this restaurant is very popular with the residents in Great Falls and its surrounding cities/towns, but for me, I've had way better restaurants in and out of the United States. However, if you're visiting Great Falls or a resident, and have never tried this restaurant, I am still recommending this place to you - I hope you have a better first-time experience than I did.

Absolutely dysfunctional kitchen- bickering and fighting among the cooks in view of customers; 55 minutes to get breakfast, when customers that arrived after us were being served. This place has 9 tables and 4 servers, who were all great, but they can’t control the worthless kitchen staff who deserve to be fired. Steak skillet: steak was good, the rest was a discombobulated amalgamation of flavors that were cooked separately- home fries, veggies etc. I could barely eat the steak. Corned beef hash- absolutely disgusting, over salted and likely Hormel from a can. Inedible. Bloody Mary- the only thing worth ordering How this place has over 4 stars is beyond me- don’t waste your time!
Ate here passing through from Banff to Yellowstone from central Wisconsin. Best meal yet! I had a Cajun Chicken pasta and Patricia had coconut shrimp, soup and salad top notch too!
Super-nice staff, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and great food at affordable prices. I had the chicken strips, and a friend had the ribs: everything was perfect. We visited several restaurants during our trip, and this was by far our favorite. It's a down-to-earth place to have a great time.

We were at this restaurant last year and learned that when the main chef left, this young gentleman took over with no help( and only 18 years old) Food was amazing. Came back again this year, July 26th, again food was amazing! Learning that same young man was still the chef( and manager of the kitchen?). And our waitress (wish I could remember her name, Rachel?? Dang I hope I don't get that wrong.) She was amazing also! I couldn't recommend this place more for an awesome steak. And that's coming from 2 people who would normally rather eat steaks at home because they are cooked better. But not here!! Check this young man out, a rare gem!!! Thank you all the way around! We always enjoy ourselves!!
Beautiful place, love the decor, but very disappointed in the food. This is a steakhouse, my husband ordered the filet mignon, rare and I ordered the med cut prime rib, rare. We were there on a Thursday evening at 8pm (they close at 9). My prime rib came out medium well. I complained, the manager stated that they can't guarantee a rare (or apparently even a medium) prime rib so late in the evening. I said, well, I would have liked to have been told that when ordering. (I know it's possible to get a rare prime rib before closing, Look at my review of Montana club restaurant a few weeks ago. We were there 45 min before closing.) My husband's filet mignon was very rare, but not very tasty. The manager was nice, gave us a 15% discount, but the whole prime rib should have been comped. There was only a couple other people in the whole restaurant. It's too bad, because the decor and atmosphere are wonderful. Bread was boring and didn't taste homemade and apparently they don't have butter anywhere in the restaurant, just margarine. The salad was ok. The baked potato was great, except no butter, just margarine, not the same. I was going to get the chicken fried steak initially, but when I inquired, it is frozen, not hand battered. $100 for a disappointing date night
Had dinner with friends tonight. It had been awhile since last going there & we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. Rachel G. was our server & she made our night - so friendly & professional. We will definitely be back!
